[00:02] and this is Neil Goyal and I am sure you may not know any of these three but according to the Traction website, last year these people have earned this much revenue but the question is these people are neither any famous celebrity nor any famous creator, [00:14] so how are they earning so much, all these people are influencer marketers. Influencer marketing is currently one of the easiest and hottest businesses within the creator economy. And still the competition in this is so less that you can be [00:26] very easily successful here. And for this you do not need any special skill. In today's video, I am going to tell you what start it and how to grow it. This video is going to be a complete road map from [00:39] beginner to advanced level where I will tell you step by step what to do and when. So without any delay let's start with pure basics. What is influencer marketing? Ok. So, let me [00:51] explain it to those who don't know in an easy way. An influencer marketer is basically a middleman whose job is to connect creators and brands so that brands can increase their awareness and sales by sponsoring creators and creators can earn money by creating content for the brand. [01:03] This sounds like a normal thing to hear. And I am sure you people must be wondering why is there a need for a middle man for this ? Well, the answer is very simple. The creator is so busy in his content creation process that he does not have time to [01:15] go and find brands, then convince them and then take money from them and work for them. And after the work is done, repeat the same procedure again. And also keep in mind the legal agreements etc. that are there in between all this. At [01:27] the same time, brands also do not have the knowledge about what kind of creators they should spend on. How much should each creator be paid and what can be expected from them. even how to reach the creator and negotiate with them. Brands also face problems in these things [01:40] work which they have to carry out. And to solve these problems, a middle band is needed which is the influencer marketer who finds the creator. He brings them brand deals and does all the negotiation and deal closing [01:53] work and also builds a long term relationship between the brands and the influencers so that both get mutual benefit and in between all this the An influencer marketer charges commission in different ways at different stages. [02:07] If you are a solo influencer marketer, that is, someone who is working alone and has no credibility or track, then you cannot charge commission from the company. You will have to take commission from the creator only. But if you [02:19] marketing agency and have credibility, you credibility, you save your huge commission by distributing it to influencers in small amounts. This thing would fall under the B to B category [02:33] which I will teach later in the video. But I will proceed by covering from pure basics. That means how can you do this work as a single person? I will teach you this first. How to start. To start influencer marketing, [02:45] you need to follow five steps. The first step of which is choosing an industry. If you find a fashion industry brand today, you can't get its deal done by a tech guy. Just because that tech creator is [02:58] in your identity. And you can't just quickly bring in a fashion creator and then work on a tech one again. If you try to do influencer marketing in this way, then If you try to do influencer marketing in this way, then [03:10] which will neither be able to survive at home nor at the ghat. And maximum beginners make this mistake. As soon as they enter this industry, they see so much money that they do result, they are not able to build credibility in any industry. They are [03:23] not able to play the long term game and disappear after earning only ₹1000. Whereas question arises how to choose the industry ? For this you simply have to check the three C fit framework. Where the first C stands for Kyocerty. That is, which is the [03:38] industry in which you are genuinely interested and about which you already have some which brands are there in that industry , which influencers are on top, what new things are happening in that industry. Everything. If you [03:51] problem. All you have to do is find an industry that you are interested in learning about. Your work will become easier. The second C stands for Capability. If you are getting into influencer marketing, I would prefer to have [04:04] a long term vision. And in the long term, you will have to ask yourself a question that in the industry you have chosen , what can you provide to the brands or influencers that they do not have. It could be information [04:16] techniques, or anything else. But this is necessary for the long term game. So you can ignore it for now. But if you are doing a long term planning then definitely think about this. The third C is commercial [04:30] value. Not every influencer marketer makes equal money. And even if a food industry influencer marketer tries as hard as he or she might, he or she will likely never be able to out-compete a finance industry influencer marketer. The reason is the [04:42] market size and spending power of the industry. Or if I say it in easy language then CPM. Your earnings will be directly proportional to the earnings of brands if the creator is not able to earn a good amount then [04:54] you too will not be able to earn. So you have to keep this thing in mind. Now, which in influencer marketing? I have made a list of them in chronological order and shared it with you along with CPM. You can also pause the video and watch it. [05:07] You can also pause the video and watch it. Whichever industry you choose, do [05:19] how much are the brands willing to pay them? You will have to do this manually. Only then will you get real information. Your industry will be a long term commitment. So I would really Now once you have chosen an industry. After that you have to go [05:34] to the second step which is Discovering Creators. Finding creators is the easiest task within India. Because literally at this moment every other person is a creator. And nearly every niche is oversaturated. There are two ways to find creators. First [05:47] manual. Whatever niche or industry you have chosen , you have to search keywords related to that industry on Instagram or YouTube. For example, suppose your go to Instagram and search for fitness coach or fitness tip and then [06:02] go to the account section where after scrolling a little you will see such accounts which are getting good views and have not grown much. Likes are between 500 to 500. Influencers in this range are [06:14] best for you. Because the charges of influencers in this range are medium. And these people are so focused on their growth that And influencers in this range are also the most desperate. [06:26] For brand deals because their major source of earning is brand deals. And their growth also depends on the same thing. You will find many such pages and creators for whom you have to create an actual sheet with name, number of [06:38] subscribers and average views per month. There go to the tags section. And then you will find so many creators who are deriving. He is also gaining good views but people do not know him. [06:52] These are your best list of at least 30 to 50 creators in your industry who influencers and whose growth can happen anytime. You can also use the same technique [07:07] on platforms like YouTube and TikTok. After this, the second way to find influencers is with the help of AI tools. There are many websites online that work to find influencers and [07:21] Some of those websites are Hype Auditor, Influence and Social Blade. These three are such websites on which you can extract real time data of influencers by using many filters like location, industry, follow size, average views etc. industry, follow size, average views etc. [07:36] even provide you with emails from influencers as part of their premium packages. or want to start an agency, then But if you are going to do influencer marketing on a personal level, then [07:49] in that case I would prefer that you adopt manual ware because it will also give you a better understanding of the industry, what kind of influencers are there and what kind of content is liked by the brands. Apart from all this, you also have to make a checklist. You need to make [08:02] sure that the influencers you are working with or outreaching to cover these checkpoints. First of all, you have to make sure that there are no fake followers on the creator's page or channel, or you [08:14] can find out by looking at the engagement of their posts or videos. Secondly, you have to ensure that the creator is active and has at least 100 monthly views because if it is less than that then it is difficult for any brand to want to work with you. The third thing you need to keep in mind is [08:26] that the creator should be a trustworthy creator and should also be punctual. Because many times influencer marketers get stuck in such a case where they get the deal that he does not make the video and give it to the brand timely as a result, the [08:39] Once you have a list of good creators and influencers sorted out, you then have to move to the next step which is Discovering Brands. Now there are three ways to find out brands. First Analyzing Competitors. If you have [08:53] chosen fitness as an industry then you have to consume the content of that industry. And you will find many such reels or videos in which some displayed. You have to note down the names of those companies. And then [09:06] go to Chat GPT or use any other tool to note down their names as well. The reason is that if one company is spending on influencer marketing, then its competitors will also spend on influencer marketing very soon [09:20] because no one wants to be left behind. The second way is that you can search hashtag sponsor or hashtag ad on YouTube and Instagram, through which which something or the other is sponsored. That means the brand has [09:34] third way is that you can also notice who is running Google Ads and Facebook Ads in your industry. who is running Google Ads and Facebook Ads in your industry. in my industry, everyone from Samsung to Wondershare runs their own ads. And that's why [09:47] you see those ads before the YouTube video starts. Now, if a company is spending on ads for marketing also be spending on influencer marketing. You have to create your own brand list using these three methods. And the longer this list, the better. And [10:01] also you will have to keep updating this list every month. Because nowadays some new startup is opening almost every second day. And they are raising funding and So if you stay updated, your income will increase. Now the next step is reaching [10:15] out. Ok. So now you have a ready list of creators and a ready list of brands who are spending on influencer marketing. Now you have to start your work. both sides. First of all you have to reach out to the creator on their email [10:28] and Instagram and send them a message like this. In the subject you can write Creator Name X Brand Name Collaboration or you can also write something like Collaboration with Brand Name. Creators ' emails and DMs are full. So you have to [10:41] make sure that your email is at least opened. And for that the subject is a come to the main body. So first of all you have to give greetings and personal touch which you can give in this way. Hello Tube Sensai. I've been following your [10:54] engage your audience. The community you have genuinely impressive. After giving the personal test, you have to introduce yourself and why you have sent the email? And you can write this thing in this way. I am your [11:08] marketer who connects creators with brands. Dead Match Their Audience And Vibe Helping Them Secure High Quality Paid Collaborations. I have recently been working write the names of two-three brands. And a few others in your niches and I believe you would be [11:22] a great fit for some of our upcoming campaigns. If you introduce yourself in this way, no one will be able to tell that you are a beginner. Because to create authority and to lure the creator, you might have [11:35] found during your research. But make sure that the creator has not collaborated with the brands you have listed there before. Otherwise, all your hard work will go waste. Now after writing this, you have to make the conversation a little serious and [11:47] extract some details, which you can do by writing this. If you are open to it please let me know your charges for an integrated video, dedicated video and Instagram reels also so that I can share the relevant campaign details accordingly. Now, [11:59] writing this will do two things. Firstly, you will get to know the rates of the creator. And secondly, if the creator is not interested, he will ignore your email, which will finally you have to close the email in a professional way. Looking [12:13] Best regards your name and if you want you can give your WhatsApp number, email or website or Lindin anything here. This is Where you first build trust, then build authority and then [12:27] Now you have to send such emails to 10 different creators daily. Or until you get a response from five creators. If you have received responses from five creators, I would prefer to stop at that moment. [12:40] not be able to manage many creators. You will have difficulty. Now after this email, what will happen is that the creator will reply back to you and tell you some of his rates for the video. After which you have to continue the conversation by saying this. Hey then followed by the creator's [12:53] name thanks for getting back to me and sharing your rates. Really appreciate that I will review them and discuss with the brands. Once I have confirmed the brief and including the brand concept and timelines. So we can take this forward [13:06] smoothly. Looking forward to collaborating on something impactful soon. Best your that you are going to bring a brand deal for him. And now he will wait for you. Now after this moment you have to reach out to the brand. But the bigger problem is [13:19] where is the brand to reach out? So when you were making your list of brands, at Where you have to write the support emails of that brand as well as the emails of the marketing team. You will get these emails only on Lindin. First of all you have to go to Lindin and [13:33] After which you have to turn on the company filter. And by doing this you will If you go there, there will be a section of Peepal tree. You have to go to that. And then you will see all the members working in that company. You have to [13:48] You have to in the marketing department. And then their email has to be extracted. You can extract email using any extension. Such as scrap.io. This way you will have direct [14:01] contact with the brand's marketing team. Now that you have your email ready, you can prepare the message as well. You can't go to brands as an influencer marketer. Because if you do this, the brand will either throw you aside and [14:13] completely ignore you. The brand marketer. Therefore, you have to present yourself as a manager of the creator. And then the brand has to reach out in this way. Hi brand name or manager [14:28] name I am. Then your name, the brand partnership manager or then the creator's name, talk about the niche here. Win an audience over you have to tell followers We have been following your brand and really liked your recent campaign around. Now [14:44] check here what the brand is promoting recently. I think there is a great fit between your brand and our audience which consists of. And We are currently finalizing our next set of brand [14:56] brand name feels like a strong fit considering your positioning and target audience. Please let us know if this is something you would be interested in. Looking forward to here from you. Best your name. If you send such a message to the brand, you will [15:09] present yourself as a team member and not as a middle man. And the brand will also feel that you are actually aware of their interests and your chances of getting a reply will increase significantly. You have to customize such emails and [15:23] you send too many emails at once, your emails will start going into spam and will is preferable that you send emails to only 10 brands daily. Now after reaching out, the next stage will come which is negotiation. Ok. So, after your previous email, the [15:38] brand will reply to you and ask you for your rates. You have to pay the same rates that the creator gave you. You do not have to add your margin here. I will explain the reason later. After this the brand will probably ask for the creator's stats. You can [15:50] And then after a final price is discussed, the brand will send you a brief of its campaign and also a contract which will include pricing and everything else. You have to send this thing to the creator and then the creator will [16:03] working with a trusted brand then by this moment the brand would have sent you half the payment. For which he will also ask for invoice and banking details. You have to take those things from the creator and forward them. And then once the video is published, the [16:16] full payment will be sent to the creator. Now I know you people must be wondering what benefit did I get from all this, where did I earn anything? Well you didn't earn it. And this is what I want to teach you guys. Influencer marketing is a business [16:28] creator does not trust you then you will never be able to play the long term game. Therefore, to win the trust of the creator, it is preferable that you give him a brand without taking any commission. So that he will realize that this person is useful [16:41] and also trustworthy. Because it has kept all its things transparent. Now creator has secured a brand deal, you can befriend him and he will also be interested in this. And then you have to pitch your service. You have to make the [16:55] creator realize that there are many other brands out there that are willing to pay more than them. But if you bring brands to that creator, you will take a commission which can be anything between 10 to 30%. This [17:07] creator knows that all the work is going to be transparent and you are not going to run away with his money, he will agree. Now finally you will be an influencer marketer who will have a creator and you will earn a lot of commission from that creator only. [17:20] Once you get that creator three-four brand deals, you can also ask him for his friends' contacts and onboard them too. If you get a deal done for just one brand with five different creators, your [17:32] earnings will increase five times. And in this way you will start growing. All this work depends on trust and way of communication. And you will have to see these things yourself. I can't teach you this. Now this was a normal procedure to [17:44] and start earning. But if I tell you the truth, you will I tell you the truth, you will So the question arises that how do these big influencer marketers [17:57] earn crores? The answer is from the agency. And how to start an agency? I will tell you that also. Starting IMA. If you are into influencer marketing, then sooner or later you will have to start an agency. The reason is [18:11] that by sending 10 different emails to 10 different creators from the same brand, you will only waste time and will not be able to earn much commission. An influencer collaborations or relying on creators. An [18:25] influencer marketing agency technically you bring brands what's best for them. On a personal level, you had to look at the creator's benefit first. Because you would be able to earn only if the creator benefits. [18:39] look at the benefit of the brand. Only then will you be able to play the long term game here. How does an influencer marketing agency work ? Let me just give you an overview of it. First of all, influencer marketing agencies are flooded with creators. [18:52] And not just small creators but big creators like Fukra Insaan or you can say Prajakta Kohli who come in the category of Mac creators. Secondly, IMS works with brands that were already doing influencer marketing. [19:05] also reach out to those brands which are earning but are not spending on influencer marketing. This means that they also find out hidden companies and convert them into their clients. And instead of the normal one-time collaboration, [19:18] influencer marketing agencies run campaigns. That means there is a deal with the brands. They need a certain number of views and sales or revenue. For which they have a certain amount of budget. And there is also a certain amount of [19:30] time period. And the job of the influencer marketing agency is to select the influencer according to its needs. Whether to , where are the results coming from, where to invest more and where not to invest [19:43] , all this work is done by the influencer marketing agency. Technically, instead of a one-time deal, these people play a long-term game that lasts from 6 to 8 months. And a good budget is also available for this. Like I am [19:55] agencies keep their margin aside and works. Before starting an agency, it is very important to have knowledge of this field. Because after starting an agency, you [20:11] will not study metrics like views, engagement, demographics but you will have to which will be from both the brand's side and the influencer's side. But it's all manageable. It is not that hard. Influencer Marketing Agency [20:24] is a very big game in itself, if you want a video on it then comments then I will definitely make a video on it.
