[00:13] why is why it's good and bad for growth hello foreign and hello youtube [00:25] problem with pngs so what we see typically on twitter okay mostly on twitter is the original poster will be [00:37] drop your png into [Music] to get a shout out or something around the lines of [00:52] what is it called [Music] to help each other [01:09] for some people out there why is it a problem is it okay to make an alternate account to reply png's uh i don't know we'll figure that out [01:28] so let's let's let's talk about the negatives real quick replying honestly it gets you [01:43] some follows on twitch but what are they ah nikki got it nikki got it it's basically a follow for follow right [01:59] twitch but interested in your content right they just follow it they just hit the follow button to support [02:18] do you want just random people supporting your content that means that they just click a button to give you one extra number to give you one extra number but not actually coming to your streams [02:32] or interacting with you or being a viewer or being a viewer or being a part of your community [02:44] right it's nice to get 50 followers on twitch but if nobody comes to watch you what's the point [02:59] what's another bad or negative thing about you know drop or negative thing about you know drop your posts into the description [03:11] one that i personally think it is i think i saw somebody mention it yeah murdock did um drop your png [03:26] drop your png so i can sim [03:46] what what what good does that do for you hello lord chat you're spending so much time and effort dropping your pngs to something like this it does nothing for you [04:01] it doesn't it really doesn't it really doesn't right it really doesn't do anything no worries lord grinding's good right it is awkward why would you want [04:15] to do it but what these drop your pngs really are but what these drop your pngs really are and someone earlier just said it [04:27] it's just a follow or follow or follow that is literally it follow for follow is not a way to grow [04:45] it isn't you don't want people following you and not watching your content like i said earlier right and then if you don't follow this [04:59] person back they just end up unfollowing you there is no point it's not worth it it's really not you dropped your png a few times and when they said they make art based on it [05:16] did they i wonder if they they made art of your out of avatar maybe some people do maybe some people don't right but what you guys also gotta understand when you drop your png [05:31] and they make art of your png they can now they can now sell that art of your model [05:48] that they made that they can now sell to whomever they want don't think that would happen but [06:03] they make an original art piece of your avatar and sell it online put a part of their portfolio would you really want that [Music] i wouldn't [06:15] [Music] i really i really wouldn't they're gonna make it into an nft i would buy a thorntail nft not gonna lie be right and it's not illegal [06:31] it's not it's not illegal at all because it's it's an original take of the of of that image [Music] no they won't sell if we give them an [06:46] agreement did you make an agreement probably not you just dropped your png probably not you just dropped your png into their into the replies [06:59] not illegal so [07:12] someone's virtual characters sure if somebody grabbed my virtual avatar right now and used it [07:24] because i have my avatar protected in different ways but to think about right i doubt people on twitter will do this [07:37] but you never know you really don't you never know so when a for okay so just so you guys know i'm gonna i'm gonna i'm gonna i'm gonna i'm gonna i'm gonna blow your guyses [07:53] second here give me one second give me give me one second i will i'll be so quick on this be so quick on this [Music] [08:16] and this is an actual law okay we ready chat here we go who owns them the photographer [08:28] the photographer or johnny depp honestly who do you guys think owns these photos [08:49] yeah the person taking the photo [09:17] and you see that watermark of the photographer on the bottom right who owns that [Music] it's the photographer unless they work out a special deal [09:31] they do plus the photographer chat for you peeps streaming on twitch.tv [09:44] right now for everybody that streams on twitch do you think twitch has to ask your permission twitch has to ask your permission to use your likeness [10:00] honestly do you think that do you think they have to ask you they don't they absolutely don't [10:21] they don't have to ask your permission they can use your images for any advertising anytime they want neither party gets paid would you get some kind of exposure for the [10:36] interesting but yeah it's in the affiliate contract but yeah it's in the affiliate contract absolutely sticky yeah you guys got to remember these things well you got to not only remember you [10:51] but i'm pretty sure you guys can find out on it in two seconds who owns who owns a photo [11:25] dig deeper and please prove me wrong if i'm wrong the person who is considered the author owns the copyright in photographs so [11:38] owns the copyright in photographs so somebody makes a image of you fan art right if somebody makes a fan art of you who owns it is it you or the person who made the fan art [12:14] think about right about we don't we really don't we don't we really don't but let's be real here chad [12:29] [Music] at the end of the day actually actually help [12:44] say their contracts you can make prints of your commission same kind of deal of your commission same kind of deal yeah there you go [12:56] who actually benefits from these posts on twitter likeness of an individual is conducted with or without your consent [13:17] but just like scar said the poster the poster actually benefits more than the people dropping their pngs why the people dropping their pngs why [Music] [13:37] and let's help each other that's what they typically say that's that's that's where that's what i see [13:54] but why why does the poster benefit interesting thought because it causes [14:14] this is the way for all of them some of them might might might be genuine about this [Music] but it causes a false sense of [14:29] english right now but wanting to help someone wanting to help someone [Music] when it's not [14:43] right when when new v tubers see that kind of thing they're like oh my god they're so nice they want to help me and they're so fantastic and maybe i could drop my stuff in their future [14:57] posts too and they then all they hit is follow acknowledge that their ownership appreciate they made it at all yeah [15:09] which is fantastic but honestly chat it's the poster that benefits from this not anyone else [15:22] kind of accomplishment false sense of trying to help you out but at the end of the day they're not [15:34] so this is this is the only person actually benefits is the poster [15:46] of this engagement get the poster why is this good for twitter why is this good if you did this on twitter [15:59] thinks about why are they doing this let me tell you let me tell you why they are doing this [16:12] as soon as i fix that it gets the poster exposure so these people hit the follow button [16:24] so these people hit the follow button right [16:36] stay with me so they follow they now see this posters feed what does this poster post in their feed [16:50] right and and and and and chat you do the same post over and over and over [17:02] and over and over again you get a crap ton of follows this in discord the other day and i also looked it up these people that [17:14] post this kind of thing usually get 2k follows not from the one post but within let's say six months [17:26] followers in six months oh also oh also they don't have a youtube [17:39] or tiktok that's it [Music] that's it that's all they're getting that's it that's all they're getting it's literally just on the twitter [17:54] page that one i don't know i know nothing about that but but but it gets them a massive massive following [18:06] and because these people thought that this person actually cared about them because these people thought this person genuinely wanted to help them and help them grow they feel [18:20] obligated some of them will feel absolutely obligated to go watch this absolutely obligated to go watch this person and watch their stream [18:34] for that poster probably worth it for you though probably not people so they can't follow everyone yeah yeah no for sure for sure for sure [18:48] but like honestly chat [19:00] this is this is a thing this is this is how you can grow an audience without how you can grow an audience without growing an audience i personally feel a lot of people are doing this drop your png [19:16] because it gets them an audience on twitter within a certain amount of time they advertise that they go live and they advertise that they go live and they got an instant audience
