## Transcript

we're breaking down House of the Dragon. The trailer for episode 4 has just dropped. And in this video, we're going to be breaking it all
down. Taking place in the aftermath of the last episode, we see Rene readying her forces for the taking of Tumbleton. Orund has deceived her, and in sending a fake heir into the kingdom, he's managed to take the city. But what will it lead to? Well, in this video, we'll be breaking
it all down. And as always, we'll watch the trailer first. So, let's do that now. Why seize Tumbleton? He dares me to rain fire down on a seat that raised my banner. Go with them.
Does he mean to somehow win their support? We must guard our intent quietly. We must presume these men hold allegiance only to themselves. You river folk. I [ __ ] hate river folk. Our soldiers need to be paid else there will be bedum. Name a
master of coin. The people will soon discover are lacking resources. They can blame him. We seek prince aund. If you know where he is, I'd advise you to be forthcoming.
Oh my. My purpose is to restore the rightful line to the Iron Throne. It is the will of the gods.
Okay, so the trailer begins with a wide shot of Tumbleton before cutting to Reneur's small council. She know that Orman wants her to attack the town and this will turn the people against her. The line rain down fire actually foreshadows something later on and I think that she'll send in
the dragon seeds. As we know, this is where Cat's located at as well and I think he will be ordered to burn down the city. In the book, he ends up turning to the Greens, and I think that'll happen if he gets ordered to kill the people. We see cat and another man with her at one point, which I
believe might be her brother. The wiki brings up how she has one in Tumbleton, and I think that this is likely the character. However, I don't think that the battle itself will be going down in this episode as it seems more along the lines of the strategic planning leading towards it.
At this point, Rene is struggling to consolidate power and pull all her money together. I think because of that, episode 4 will lead into the strategy and setting up the betrayals. We then get a shot of Reneer and her small council including Grand Master all at the back. In the book,
he wasn't a part of this council and was actually sent to the dungeons quickly after Reira arrived. I do think that might happen in this episode with him potentially being sent there to remain for when Aegon returns. Speaking of Agon, we then get to him and Lar heading to Rook's rest. Laris
is in fullon scheming mode and trying to get them to keep their heads down. As they head into Rook's rest, we can also see what's a very cool Easter egg with the body of Me. This is a carryover from episode 4 of season 2 and it comes in the aftermath of when Rainey's fell to the ground.
I love how the carcass is just smashed through the wall and it's such a cool thing to have hanging over the location. We know from the book as well that Sunfire is around the area as well. Last episode, we heard how Bale had flown overhead and noticed Sunfire dead and decaying. I do wonder
if that's really the case, though, as Sunfire is pretty important for one of the characters fates. So, I think Sunfire is likely alive. The reports of his death have been greatly exaggerated, you could say. And I think that at some point, Agon's going to discover him. Him leaning against
Sunfire's side or belly or whatever. That has been shown in the weeks ahead trailer. So, it does seem like that's going to happen around this area. Either way, the pair are clearly masquerading as river folk, which causes one of the guys to say he hates them. Yay. Looks like
Agon and Laris are just going from one [ __ ] show to the next, but it's allowing Agon to see what his war has caused. Everyone hates everyone across the kingdom. And we see as the soldiers march out in King's Landing, Damon says, "Our soldiers need to be." This is terrible Matt Smith impression. a
good Matt Smith impression in general, but a terrible Matt Smith as Damon impression. But he says, "Our soldiers need to be paid else there will be bedelum." My then says, "Name a master of coin." Which was a spot-on impression for her at least. But basically, in
this conversation, they talk about how they want to set someone up as a psy. We've heard about how the crowd is broke as all its money's been moved elsewhere. War is of course expensive. You know, soldiers need money. Everyone's got to buy food and clothes and it all just gets way too much.
What they need is a great deal, mate. And they can have that at our merch store below there. We just launched our Aean and Vega inspired shirt which has the dragon on the back and the kins slayer on the front. We also have a singlesided version of this as well and the print comes in
green so you can show where your loyalties lie. We also have one for the blacks as well which is red like the blacks like the black dragon. The blacks they should be called the reds. I know that. But yeah, that is our Caraxi shirt with a similar sort of design. And if you pick both up,
you get 12% off. There's loads of shirts beyond that as well, all with the same discounts, and you'll not need to raise the coffers to pay for them. Shabow, as they say. Anyway, it looks like the rage and arresting the soldiers is causing them to take out their anger on the small
folk. They smash them like the like button. And to make matters worse, Rene is making the commoners pay for the privilege by raising taxes. So yeah, they appoint a master of coin. And in the book, this was Bordeos Kelka. Eventually, he was tortured and beheaded. So, it kind of shows
how unpopular his taxes were. Aaria suggesting he takes a fall also makes me think that that's what we're building towards for the season finale. And that'll happen in the aftermath of the riots. Kind of sums up though how getting the Iron Throne wasn't the be and end all victory. Governing
itself is actually a nightmare and everyone's turned from a warrior into admin. We then get a sequence at Harren Hall and watches Gwen and Kristen arrive encountering Alice. She's the only one there. And we hear what I believe is Vagar in the background. The atmosphere is dark, misty, and
ominous though. And I love how they've turned this place into basically a haunted house. As for Aean, he's missing or incapacitated. And this is due to being stabbed by those strong, strong boys. I do wonder what she's doing to the character though, as she's currently nursing him back to health,
at least in the book. She may have had to use her witching ways to heal him, though, and this could turn him into something a bit more mystical. I know people think he might be one of the White Walkers and I think that would probably be a quite a wild way to take things. That's a big fan theory
though. You can keep sharing it with me if you want. I still don't know for definite. But yeah, what I think that could happen if they do go that route. Look, we've all seen from Game of Thrones who come up with an amazing theory and they don't use it at all and make a terrible season finale.
But if that could happen um then he may die over the god's eye and then rises something more. She has likely even seen the same visions as Damon. So potentially knows that the Night King is coming.
Now we then get to Orand High Tower and the preview closes out on a powerful shot of him as he says his purpose is to restore the rightful line to the Iron Throne. He comes out of a giant door and then we cut to a group of people. If you pause this, you'll notice that there is Cat and what I
believe is likely her brother. He has blood across his forehead and in the forefronts a green soldier who looks a little worse for wear as well. So do wonder if they've been fighting and Ormond is now coming to see what's up. We then watch as a green dragon flies overhead which I believe is the rival
of Hugh. It looks a little too large to bear. So I do think we're going to potentially see him arriving at Tumbleton. That's where we go to next with Orman saying it is the will of the gods. This
is to what looks like Darren. And we then see his fire burns lighting him up. I don't know who this could be as there's no mention of him targeting anyone specific. It's definitely not Darren. Um, so he could be attacking the soldier from the scene before. If that soldier has been attacking
people like Cat's family, then the soldier could be burned to show that Orman won't mess around. Orund is a lot like Wayne. And we saw in episode one when he thought about that soldier forcing themselves on a woman. So it may be demonstrating that Orand is the next step in that and that he'll
happily feed people to dragons. As for Tarian, that's also a key dragon in the book and it plays a major part in the southern campaign. I feel like we're going to end with Hugh heading to Tumbleton, and that'll be likely where things close out at. As for Anira, she's basically embodying the idea
of how you have to be careful what you wish for. She managed to gain the Iron Throne, but now she's struggling with the limited resources. This then sets up the internal conflict that she's going to face for the rest of the season. Can she rule effectively, or will the crown itself bring it
all crashing down? Also wonder if Damon's going to stick around as well. He's been sent to the veil, which is where his ex-wife's from, who he smashed like the like button. I think he'll probably discover that Raina was at the veil as well, and that she was the one who was indeed riding
Sheepsteeler. So, I think he's going to cover for his daughter and ultimately side with her over his wife. I like how much focus that Orman's getting as well, and it looks like they're making him the standout new character for the season. The show appears to be elevating him, and he seems
like he's a very formidable, ideologically driven commander. He also speaks about the gods as well. His religious rhetoric makes him a dangerous counterpart to Riraa who's clearly just going along with the seven to appease the people. So I do wonder if man might even use her being fake
religious to turn people against her. We see in real life how a lot of politicians play religion to turn their people against their opponents and the show could be doing something like that. But overall Tumbleton is a pivotal location. This is where the dragon seeds betray the blacks and this
leads to some dragon battles. Yay. I think this episode is the leadup to that and we'll end the mid-season heading into that going down in episode 5. This episode also seems like it's going to cement the key themes of the show as well, which is all about the cost of power. Reneu's victory is
ultimately hollow because she still can't really rule. There's no loyalty and people eventually turn on her. So, it's all laying the groundwork for that. Either way, that wraps up the video and I'd of course love to hear your thoughts on the trailer. Please drop a like and also drop a
