[00:01] extremely beginner friendly automation that will allow you to create WordPress posts directly from a Google sheet on our YouTube channels and Community we have a wide array of advanced bloging systems that you can SN your teeth into
[00:14] however this automation is a simple accessible one that you can get set up with right away and then you can adapt and tailor this as you need and then once you have everything set up you can build in more advanced features into the
[00:26] automation for whatever you need such as advanced custom field inte ation or uploading in content images or Integrations with perplexity or whatever else you need for anybody starting out in make.com these bigger automations are
[00:39] going to seem quite intimidating so let's get started with a simple example very start so the topic I'm just going to add in to start with within Google Sheets we just basically have a topic we have a status and we're going to select
[00:52] WordPress link then we're going to add that link at the end so the topic for this that we're going to add in is what are AI agents status for this will be are AI agents status for this will be ready for article generation and in here
[01:05] we're going to go to data and then data validation and then add a rule to the right hand side I'm going to move myself over to the left so I'll add a rule and bunch of items here we're going to start off and add in open and then article
[01:19] statuses We'll add in colors for those generation will be yellow then article generator will be green so then when we added a new topic and set it to this we want our automation to pick that up and
[01:33] then create the article and then push that to Wordpress so let's start from here we have this downloads ready for article generation we'll go to Google Sheets and if you have not already set up a connection then you'll just go to
[01:45] add a connection but for now we'll select search roles go to add a connection select sign in with Google and then select your account and then just go through the popup steps from there for search method we need to
[01:58] select or spray sheet so I'm going to go to spreadsheet and then going to select spreadsheet we created so I'm using the search function here which is great I'll select sheet one table contains headers is good and then from there select
[02:12] status and then we'll copy in this ready for article generation status so then I run this automation it's going to pick up any of those roles which are equal to ready for article generation status and ignore all the others then at the very
[02:26] generated the article then we will picked up again for the moment we're going to be creating this article in draft mode and not autop publishing it but you can also set these to autop
[02:39] that up which is looking good now we're just going to add in a CLA module after this so I'm going to select create a prompt you can pass this into any large language model you want such as open AI or gemini or you can use open router to
[02:54] access lots of other language models including free ones people in our because it has a really good tone and writing style out of the box and it does the other models if you do not have a connection for anthropic you need to go
[03:07] to add and then paste in an API key go to anthropic ccom set up an account then little bit of credit at the start even just $5 credit should be enough and go to API keys and then create a new API key copy out that key straight into here
[03:22] and press save and then you should have a connection set up and ready to go so I'll add in Max tokens of 5,000 here for messages I'll user and then content type is text and then text is write an article on the following topic and then
[03:38] I'm going to select the topic name here then after that I'm going to get it to respond in HTML format this is the format that we'll be able to send this straight to Wordpress and it will be nicely formatted so start with a P tag
[03:52] nicely formatted so start with a P tag include H2 headings include ordered and unordered list as necessary and then finally I'll just ask it to use strong finally I'll just ask it to use strong tags to bold important keywords and
[04:06] sections throughout the text but do so sparingly now that's a general decent prompt that we can start with if you go into far more detail than this but let's just start from this because it's
[04:19] after that I'm going to get into a slightly more advanced topic here which is response prefilling so go to the assistant role and start with a P tag and we have another video if you want to look at this separately but what this is
[04:35] doing is we're starting the response for Claude so instead of Claude responding with here is your HTML article we want it to respond in an exact format and so it's going to start with this P tag and then it will complete it from there this
[04:50] there I'm going to press save I'll press run once and that has picked up the topic and now it's gone straight to claw and it's then going to generate that particular article text the text response is looking pretty good here it
[05:05] looks like we have some pretty decent HTML which is nice okay that's a good starting point then go to Wordpress and select create a post now make.com have a need to add in a plugin on your WordPress website and then this will be
[05:18] the video below where I go through exactly how to do that alternatively you can use the HTTP module and use an arbitrary API call to your WordPress rest API that's a bit more advanced so if you want to just go via this route
[05:32] website select your connection there and then for title I'm just going to select the overall topic that we had from our Google sheet over here for Content I'm going to select the text response from cloud and it's a more advanced topic
[05:45] here but because we pre-filled this P tag which is a paragraph tag at the very start we need to just add this in because once we prefill a response from Claude it's not going to actually include that part in the response so add
[05:58] that in as well as a text response for type I'm going to select post that's save for the moment we're not going to worry about images right now and press save and before we run this end to end I'm going to go to update a row then I'm
[06:12] going to select enter manually then go and select this spreadsheet from the very start of the scenario for Sheet name I'm going to select sheet R number Select R number colume range Select A to Z and if you go to here in B we want to
[06:28] change this to article generated so I'll just temporarily move that and then under column B we want to change that row to article generated and then now want this to be picked up in the automation so I'll press save now I'm
[06:40] going to select run once and then this should run through this entire symol automation which will create the post text send it to Wordpress in the correct Sheets okay that's looking good I just realized I forgot to add in the
[06:53] WordPress link so I'll just go into the Google Sheets and within this WordPress Google Sheets and within this WordPress we all have a post ID so go to add a module go to Wordpress and then get a post then we're going to pass in the
[07:06] post ID from this previous module once we've done that this module will return the source URL that we can then send to the Google Sheets row which is pretty handy and then from there go to Google Sheets and here we're going to select
[07:20] the link I believe and press save so the next time we've run that we can test website and it's created this article which is fantastic it's done it all in this classical editor so if you're using block mode just press this convert to
[07:33] a full article there's quite a lot of that's probably because I specifically called that out within the prompt in earlier so we could remove this part of the prompt include ordered or unordered
[07:46] part from The Prompt and we can run this again so I'm going to move this back to this entire process again because we want to test that particular update on the prompt and we want to also make sure this WordPress is been added incorrectly
[08:01] look at this we'll go into this WordPress article directly and it's looking pretty good well apart from this heading I think Daniel on our Channel just updated this test environment and this is probably a default featured
[08:13] image that's included within this so ignore that for the moment but in general this article is looking pretty decent in terms of formatting at least pretty decent starting point here it's broken up into sections and we have
[08:27] off this aut we're going to generate an AI image using flux 1.1 Ultra and then we're creating the post so we're going to use a service called file. for this
[08:39] which is a fantastic service and it's very easy to integrate with so you can just go to file. set up an account and then go to API keys go to add key and then copy out the API key and then we can use it within the next module we're
[08:53] few different options flux 1.1 Ultra is the best model that you can use from flux otherwise wise if you're just testing out an automation flux Chanel is a good one to go with because it's cheap still pretty good and it's very fast but
[09:06] for this so to integrate with this you go to API and bear with me for a second go to API and bear with me for a second go to curl HTTP and we can scroll down integrate with flux one because it does it in one shot and it's quite easy to do
[09:21] from make.com so how to do this right click add a module and Go to http and request then we're going to use the post method then within this URL copy this out and then paste that in to the URL in this case there's a little trick that
[09:36] works for file at the moment is delete the Q part from the very start of this and it makes this automation so much easier to run because you do not need to and then we're going to type in authorization because this is needed
[09:50] from here so authorization authorization and then the value for that is going to be your API key that you copied in earlier on from here the format of that needs to be as follows so key and then your API key and in general do not share
[10:03] your API keys I'm going to be revoking this after I record this video so that is good content type is Json application Json and then request content let's go back into flux here the prompt is in this format copy all of that out and go
[10:15] straight in for the moment and we press save in order to just test that right click and press run this module only we've hardcoded in the value there but we just want to make sure that this integration is working before we end up
[10:29] testing this end to end so it's looking good we have status code of 200 which looks good I'm going to move myself to the left here and then images if we go to the images there actually pretty important go on to http and Par response
[10:43] it'll make it easier later on and then so for for that response I'm just going to copy this into here and copy out the image that's looking pretty good that is the generated image now instead of this prompt we're going to pass in the actual
[10:57] topic of the article and press save now I'm going to right click and run this module only again I'm just going to copy this in the reason why I'm doing that is because we want to make sure that make understands the response data when we're
[11:11] running this automation so when we're selecting that within the next modules so we have data images and now because we've pressed parse response we now have it in this better format it's pared and make.com can understand the the
[11:26] and paste that out have a look and that is the response we got from flux it's kind of an illustration it looks pretty good In fairness and in order to get this in a format that it can be uploaded to Wordpress we need to First download
[11:40] to Wordpress we need to First download the image so type in type get a file HTTP get a file and then pass in images and URL from flux and then within the next module we're going to go to Wordpress and then create a media item
[11:54] now this Auto Maps this file which is pretty cool but unfortunately there's a serious Quirk within the WordPress create a media item module that can result in overwriting images if you upload ones
[12:07] not very good what we're going to do here is we're going to just override the file name and go to date so we've added in a hyphen I've selected now and then I'm adding jpg at the very end now I'll press this Auto align button to make
[12:22] things a bit smoother and go down to create a post and finally we're going to map this media item to the featured media ID so the media to the featured media ID so the media item id here from this to the featured
[12:36] media ID section down here and press save press save again and now when we run this again go to ready for article generation I remove this that means that when we run this article automation again then it's going to pick this up so
[12:49] now we're going to press save run once again and let's see if this works end to end okay we see that it's created the file it's uploaded the media item now hopefully attach that or attach the media item to that so that's all been
[13:02] created and I we'll go back to the Google sheet article is marked as WordPress link and perfect we have a featured image generated it's been featured image generated it's been attached to this article and we have a
[13:16] there are many other places you could take this kind of Automation and we've covered this in lots of other videos and lots of other automations on our Channel and within our community for example in this automation we're breaking up the
[13:29] outline process and article generation process separately and we're storing those in Nal base but for the article outline phase we're using perplexity researcher and using their deep research feature to generate facts and figures
[13:42] and insights for the article we're also scraping a s map for internal links and take it in this version of the system we're building out the article section we're building out the article section by section we're using an API to get
[13:56] YouTube videos and embed those within the article in this blogin agent workflow you can interact with this agent via telegram or slack or WhatsApp and that would trigger a similar article generation workflow within NM so check
