[00:02] purpose of this video is to tell you what TRG means, or what generative reprocessing therapy is. The first thing you need to know is that people usually go to a psychologist's office, like me, a [00:15] therapist's office, naturally seeking to resolve their major emotional pains. Usually, people seek help because they are depressed, traumatized, feeling frustrated, and lost. She has emotional issues [00:30] lost. She has emotional issues that she needs and is trying to resolve. But, curiously, what happens is that the vast majority of people who seek vast majority of people who seek therapeutic help end up frustrated. [00:43] Yes. Back when I was working as a clinical psychologist, that's what I saw most often: this type of frustration, this type of complaint. People were seeking help through brief therapy, which is what I was working with at the time, because the years [00:58] they had spent in conventional therapy weren't working. And it's a paradox, there's even something contradictory there. If there are so many people in need of help, and every day we see that mental health is becoming increasingly [01:12] difficult to maintain, if we find more and more people every day who are we find more and more people every day who are anxious, depressed, afraid, distressed, carrying traumas, suffering, pain, with [01:25] emotional disorders, lost, and in need of help. If there is such a vast clientele, it is obvious that the correct or natural thing would be for all psychologists to be [01:37] very rich, because theoretically there would be no shortage of clients, but that is not theoretically there would be no shortage of clients, but that is not what happens. In practice, around 70% of psychologists give up clinical practice within the first 5 years of their [01:51] careers. And the reason is, believe it or not, they can't get enough clients to sustain their therapy clinic. And they fail because the fail because the therapeutic processes are long, drawn-out, with no [02:04] defined timeframe for achieving results. And perhaps worst of all, patients often report that they were unable to overcome their emotional disorders. So, what does all this have to do with TRG? It's very [02:18] simple. The thing is, you might not know this, but 90% of the therapies ever created and offered in a psychology practice—in other words, all the influence of psychology—actually comes from people who established that the [02:33] human psyche was immutable and that the goal of therapy, or of the psychologist, in fact, of psychology, would be to help you deal with your own pain. That's exactly what you heard. The goal of the vast majority of therapies [02:49] taught in universities and practiced by psychologists is to help you engage in processes of self-discovery so you can better cope with social interaction. [03:02] Yes, I said to cope better with your pain. When I was in college, right at the beginning of my internships, the first time I tried to intervene and help someone reason in a way that would change their [03:16] path, I was criticized by my advisors. Why? Because the role of the psychologist taught there was simply to help the person cope better [03:28] therapies are based on self-knowledge. That's what I was self-knowledge. That's what I was taught for many years. But that never solved my own problem. What am I talking about? I had [03:41] anxiety, I stuttered, I was insecure, I had a lot of extremely difficult childhood, I lived in an extremely poor neighborhood, with a dysfunctional family until at least I was 7 years old. And all I wanted in [03:55] years old. And all I wanted in life was to try to correct my mind and stop being so fearful, so distressed, so insecure, so anxious in life. And it wasn't in college that I managed to understand or find any [04:08] solution for this. I started working as a psychologist, and even then I felt frustrated because I realized I wouldn't find the tools there to effectively help the people who [04:21] came to me seeking help. And the idea that the psychologist's role is to help people get to know themselves better in order to cope better with their pain didn't convince me. Do you know why? Because reason with me. If you have a [04:36] thorn in your foot, that thorn is hurting you. Obviously, if it's hurting you, if the pain is too great, the discomfort is too much, and it starts to swell and become inflamed, your mood will change. Your perspective on [04:52] life changes. What if someone comes up to you and asks, "Are you okay?" It's a wonderful day, isn't it? You might even respond with swear words, anger, or a grumpy tone. Why? Because nothing is good enough for you. [05:07] You are experiencing pain there, and from that moment on, while you are in pain, suffering, and experiencing anguish, the filter of life that you perceive will obviously be distorted. So, what is the logic behind us seeking to help a [05:23] person in pain to cope better with that pain through her self-awareness is clouded, if it's polluted with the pain she carries, then every filter through which she sees life will be distorted by the pain [05:38] she carries. Wouldn't it be more logical to meet that person's needs, to show them the methods, means, and tools they can use to solve their emotional problems? So, once she removes the [05:52] thorn from her foot, that is, gets rid of the anxiety, panic, fear, depression , anguish, trauma, whatever it may be , low self-esteem, especially then with a balanced mind, with her emotional health [06:04] in a state of homeostasis, that is, of equilibrium, then it would be very interesting if she chose to take a path of self-knowledge to learn more about herself, to understand herself and her body better, that is simply [06:18] wonderful, but only after you resolve your pains. And it was because of this that , instead of people arriving at my office daily frustrated, saying that they had spent years and years in therapeutic processes where all they did was [06:33] talk, and after many years nothing or very little had been resolved. In some cases, even worse, I began an incessant search and for many, many years I researched in universities, in [06:48] scientific papers, in the launch of cutting-edge emotional technologies. I sought out courses with people from all over the world , always looking for training wherever it was mentioned, whenever someone said: "Look, there's a [07:03] methodology that can effectively help someone heal." That's where I was. I wanted to develop something that would truly help people, mainly because I knew how painful it was to live with that [07:18] shadow of pain, carrying it every day and contaminating all my decisions, choices, and way of facing life. It was from there that, after a long history, much research, much study, much practice, and [07:32] much experimentation, I managed to develop TRG, generative reprocessing therapy. This therapy, TRG, is different from others for one simple reason: it's results-focused. In other words, the goal of the [07:47] therapist working with TRG is to help you reprocess and resolve your emotional problems in the shortest possible time . Therefore, TRG is a brief therapy methodology, meaning it typically involves a [08:02] much smaller number of sessions compared to conventional treatment, which can last 3, 4, or 5 years. Furthermore, In each session, the person working with you will have a methodology, a step-by-step process to follow, aimed at optimizing [08:17] your own time, their time of course, and especially the results. Because these two characteristics make all the difference. First, TG is not focused on self-knowledge, it is focused on results. And second, it is [08:32] guided in each session in an objective and pragmatic way so that you achieve the expected results, that is, free yourself from your emotional pain. Now, the natural question you might ask is: "But how does [08:46] this process work?" Obviously, I couldn't explain everything that happens in TRG treatment in depth in a short video, and it wouldn't be the point anyway, because I don't think you'd be interested. But the important thing you [09:00] need to know is this: everything you have experienced throughout your life has been built into you in your mental software, in your mental program. How many times have you had difficulty saying no to someone? Or perhaps [09:15] you tried to do something and felt sabotaged. Or maybe it's another situation. Perhaps you feel Anxious, nervous. Maybe you've experienced depression, like I did. I went through [09:30] serious episodes in my life. And when we look at it, what happens is that your psyche has built this structure, independent of what you want to do. The result ends up being what you've accumulated throughout your life. So, in short, [09:48] you now understand that TRG is a brief therapy, focused on results, unlike most therapeutic methods, which naturally have their value, but may not be what you're looking for. When you have [10:00] pain and you want to resolve it as quickly as possible, you don't have time to waste looking for often far- fetched interpretations, do you? One thing you'll notice is that TRG is fabulous, it's so fantastic, it's [10:16] so effective. And look, I'm not saying this irresponsibly . We're saying this, saying how fabulous TRG is based on the results we've achieved to date. Of course, no [10:30] TRG therapist will promise you anything. That in the future this or that will happen to you. No TRG therapist will ever promise to cure you. What a TRG therapist will do is tell you that we have a methodology that you can [10:48] use to achieve the results you need. And this is based on the hundreds of thousands of testimonials we receive every day. Daily, [11:00] we receive thousands of testimonials from people saying how completely their lives have been transformed. And the power of TRG also lies in the following fact: You will not only solve what you are looking for with TRG. [11:14] This is fabulous, because the set of structures, steps, and set of structures, steps, and TRG protocols will help you TRG protocols will help you [11:28] childhood to the present day in a much shorter time than you imagine. Do you know why? Because you are the sum of everything you have lived. Situations throughout your life have inserted into your mind, into your unconscious, the pains that you are carrying today. If you are seeking [11:43] therapy, it is because you have some pain, some suffering, some need. And if this is happening, it is because you are not able to cope. With that. And it's great that you're seeking help with us, because today we already have [12:00] a therapeutic methodology in the world that can help you restructure all this pain, to take all the suffering off your shoulders with your effort, with your dedication naturally, and with the very interesting characteristic of [12:17] definitively restructuring your entire psyche. There's another important thing. If you've gone through a therapeutic process where you realized you have some information, some part of your life [12:31] that you don't want to share with the therapist, in our methodology this is possible. You don't need to share what you feel embarrassed about, and this won't interfere with the therapeutic process. Of course, you will [12:46] need to work on this block of pain, but you don't need to detail or therapist. Do you know why? Because since our therapy isn't based on talk therapy, our goal isn't to interpret what you say. The [13:01] therapist will guide you through a very well-structured methodology and process and will guide you to follow the steps that he will clarify for you. At the end of each step, the therapist will make a practical and objective assessment. They [13:16] will ask you, on a scale of zero to 10, how uncomfortable it was. You won't say what happened or what you experienced. You will only say how uncomfortable it was on a scale of 0 to 10. This information is essential so that [13:31] you can reprocess everything and your therapist can guide you on this journey. In other words, if you wish, you will even have the right to your own confidentiality. Of course, if you feel comfortable, you can share. [13:46] Frequently, what happens is that when there is a situation like this, the person chooses not to share. Later , after it's resolved, they simply say: "Look, I would like to talk, and the reason is: I'm not bothered [14:00] by it anymore." How many times have I been in situations where a politician, a prominent person, a famous businessman came to me seeking therapy and said: "Look, I don't want to talk about what happened." Why? [14:16] afraid that... Let it leak, let someone find out. Imagine a person who holds a position of authority, a public figure, a magistrate, suddenly going to a therapist's office and mentioning that they were raped and abused by their [14:32] own father, mother, or someone close to them. Imagine the scandal that would cause. Of course, that's not comfortable at all. This often prevents people from seeking therapy. With GRT, that's not necessary. So, what we [14:46] want to tell you is that Generative Reprocessing Therapy is a simple, objective, results-focused therapy.
