## Transcript

Do I have to be on camera to grow on Tik
Tok, YouTube, or Instagram? That's a
question that I get asked all the time.
What do I think about faceless channels?
And while my honest answer is yes, you
do have to show your face because
showing your face builds trust faster,
all of social media is just marketing.
And in marketing, there's a rule that
people need to know, like, and trust
you. And it's harder for them to do that
if they can't see you. But I get it.
Some people don't want to show their
face. Maybe it's privacy. Maybe it's
confidence. Maybe it's just not your
vibe. Well, that's fine. You don't have
to be the star. But something does. So,
if that's not your face, it better be
your voice, your visuals, or maybe even
your storytelling. And there's a whole
category of creators out here that are
growing real channels, making real
money, and never once showing their
face. So today we're going to talk about
faceless YouTube channel ideas that
actually work, especially if you're
creative or informative or just not
ready for prime time. But before I start
throwing out ideas, let me say this. You
should not be out here spending time
trying to grow a following on YouTube or
any other platform without a clear idea
of how you're going to monetize it. You
know, views are great, but quiet as is
kept, views don't pay the bills. You're
not just creating content to get
subscribers or maybe try to luck into
becoming internet famous. You should be
doing it, yes, in my opinion, to create
income, build something sustainable, and
ideally give yourself more freedom. So,
as you're thinking about which of these
faceless channel styles might be right
for you, ask yourself, how could this
make money? Is it through affiliate
links? Selling a product, launching a
digital course down the line, maybe? Are
you building a brand that people can buy
from even if they never see your face?
So, every channel idea I'm about to
share with you has at least a couple of
clear paths to monetization. And I'm
going to tell you what those are, too.
But I want you thinking like a business
owner from the jump because that's how
faceless creators are pulling in six
figures. Not because they went viral one
time, but because they were intentional
about how to turn their content into
cash flow. So yes, go ahead and grow
your channel, but do it with a plan to
profit. Okay, here are my ideas. The
first idea is crafts and DIY. I've seen
a ton of these channels doing well. You
could show your hands creating clay
products earrings painting sewing
soap making, journaling. Monetize with
Etsy, Amazon craft supplies, digital
templates, even a digital course. The
second idea, and I've seen a lot of
these creators doing well, too, is story
time or commentary. Think about Reddit
stories, true crime, pop culture drama.
All these are done with a voice over and
stock footage or animations. You can
monetize it with sponsorships, with
Patreon, even with voiceover gigs if
you're good at that. The third idea is
digital art, speed drawing. These are
artists doing iPad sketches or coloring
book pages or even animations. How do
you monetize? With printables, with
brushes, with supplies, with merch. Idea
number four is what I call the lowfi
aesthetic videos. These are the study
with me, cozy desk setups, chill music
with rainy windows, you know that kind
of vibe. I love those. And you can
monetize those types of videos with
Spotify tracks, with gear lists, even
with ad revenue. Fifth idea is
educational explainers, kind of like
what I do. These videos are made with
voiceovers and animated slides or B-roll
explaining finance, science, health, all
kinds of things you could monetize with
your digital products, with courses and
affiliate links. Oh, here's one that's
really close to my heart. As a former
personal chef, cooking, because we're
interested in seeing what you're
cooking, your hands. We're not really
interested in seeing your face. So, just
the ingredients, closeup of prep,
overshot. So, you're showing your hands
and the ingredients, the close-ups of
you prepping the ingredients, maybe some
overhead shots of the meals. You could
even show someone eating the meals
without showing their face. You could
monetize this with cookbooks, with
kitchen tools. Also, brand deals are
very good for this type of content.
Well, there's gaming. You know,
everybody knows gaming could be done
with voiceovers. No face needed. How do
you monetize, though? Twitch
memberships, merch. Ooh, what about pet
content? Let your dog or cat or parrot
be the star if they can cooperate. You
just film and you monetize with pet
brand collabs, Tik Tok shop, affiliate
links. Now, I don't know if I would have
the patience for this type of content,
but if your pet is cooperative, you go
right ahead. Basically, faceless content
can work if you give people a reason to
come back. That might be your
creativity, your editing, your
storytelling, your visuals. Just make
sure something is connecting with your
audience. And remember this, you don't
have to stay faceless forever. Some of
these creators start by slowly
introducing themselves, their face,
their voice, their hands, or maybe even
a silhouette. The key is to start
somewhere. So, if you need help picking

faceless or not, check out my Nail Your
