The product changes we'll discuss are a direct result of your feedback, so please keep it coming. First up, the team has heard some creators worry that showing a membersonly video on the homepage might [00:28] come at the expense of a regular video recommendation and cost creators views. These inproduct promotions don't impact the visibility of creator videos and are solely an additional way to surface your content. It's not replacing a [00:41] recommendation you would have gotten for a public video. We've also heard that membersonly videos to users, and some non-members may feel overwhelmed seeing content they can't watch. The team's goal here is to create a positive [00:55] help viewers find the full range of content they're looking for from the they're interested in, both public and members only. The team is also adding an option for viewers to filter out membersonly content on channel pages. [01:10] The memberships team has heard the feedback about some viewers seeing membersonly content too often and in response they'll be reducing the number recommendations. These adjustments will launch by the end of the year. Lastly, [01:24] membersonly content is surfaced. For instance, in a membersonly tab separate from a channel's free content. Viewers who are not members may be recommended membersonly content in their home watch and search feed. This content is labeled [01:38] YouTube featured and membersonly. These promotions surface to viewers determined by things like channel subscriptions and engagement on videos. A creator's membersonly content can also appear on their channel page alongside [01:53] their public content. And again, viewers will soon have more control over their creator's membersonly content on the channel page.
