and it's time to break down every single DPS back in the game and rank them from best to worst. Just remember every DPS back is playable at any level of the game. These tier lists are just general rankings and to help guide you in a
sense of general power at the moment. Now, let's jump right into number one. We got the demonology warlock. Listen, guys. Yeah, it's absolutely true. I Demonology warlock has been slamming throughout the entirety of the beta, uh
then heading into release. They're doing the same thing. I mean, single target consistent. AoE damage profile is very reliant on cool downs anymore like demonic tyrant, uh which is only a
1-minute cool down, so you have that up every fight anyways. Utility is really battle res. Uh you got your health stones as well as gateway for some mobility on some boss fights, which is nice uh to have, I would say, in a group
overall, I mean, I got to say they're just one of, if not, the spec in the game for mythic plus and rating, man. I mean, they have multiple build varieties that are very, very fun and interactive and and I would say good overall to pick
and bring into your damage profile to have as a carry in your group. Usually, you have classes in there that are meant to be like supporters and buffers in a way to then funnel into a specific spec, and in this case, that specific spec is
either like demonology warlock, unholy death knight, devour demon hunter. Those are the specs that can really carry the numbers and just shoot you into the end say overall, demonology is just excellent right now, man. Really fun
tool kit, great damage profile, good build variety in terms of hero talents. good as well, good on-demand damage. There's no doubt demonology isn't dominating right now. Really, really good spec. Moving on next, we do have to
talk about now the retribution paladin. Uh retribution is easily amongst one of the best specs in the entire game right now. They're being used in race to world first, one of the top damage dealers in the game in you know, on demand burst
AoE potential. So, they're getting a lot of good usage out of the flights. Uh not only that, in Mythic Plus very very consistent damage with of course Wake of then you have Imperium hammers going off as well as your the hammers that spin
called. Uh but that goes off passively as well and you're just constantly dropping Hammer of Light. Your tier sets are very very valuable and strong. You have the best utility in the game when it comes to a DPS spec. I mean, you name
it. Right now, the Retribution Paladin has it. So, I really enjoyed this spec. I like it a lot. Gameplay's fun, very very interactive, uh good utility, and you can pretty much save your group if you
time. So, I got to get my hats off to Ret Paladin. This may sound like a surprise, but I'm telling you guys, this spec is banging right now. Um moving on next, we do have to talk about of course, we knew this one was coming too.
This is obvious. This is an underhand pitch. The Frost Mage. Frost Mage is on-demand damage with just Ray of Frost and just simply pressing their Ice Lance ability to pop some shatters is out of control. It is just it's not normal, I
the previous versions of Ice Lance a lot, but man, this AoE shattering Ice Lance build is just crushing Mythic Plus and on-demand burst damage inside of raid environments. So, Frost Mage absolutely dominant in that regard. Now,
I will say there's not tons of build variety with Frost Mage right now. build over and over in like all forms of content. So, you know, it could get a little bit stale in that regard, but if it ain't broke, you don't need to fix
intellect buff they bring for your party, the food, uh I guess portals if overall, we all know this was coming. Frost Mage is amongst one of the best DPS specs in the game, incredible damage profile for the raid and Mythic Plus
spec. Don't really need to talk about it Knight is next though, and this one is really, really fun, man. A lot of people were really interested in seeing how
them, because I don't know if you guys remember, I think it was War Within season 2 or potentially season 3. I don't know, I'm not really sure, but and everything going on over there was really strong and they were dealing
nuclear AoE damage. We're talking like just numbers that were not normal to see pulls with your Bloodlust going and everything like that, and it was just heard news of the rework, they were really worried, but the rework has been
amazing for them so far. All your pets deal so much damage. Your profile is very consistent across the board. It's not like one ability is dominating your entire thing. For example, like Frost Mage, which is the Shatter passive, it's
just dominating across the board. Uh same thing with like Marksmanship Hunter Death Knight, their damage profile is very, very consistent. You have good your Apex talent is incredible by spamming Graveyard. It deals so much AoE
damage. Your pets do a bunch of damage. You're incredibly durable as a Death Knight. Overall, man, this is one of those specs that, like Demonology Warlock, you put as the centerpiece to sort of build around, and this is the
spec that can literally carry your group in terms of damage uh and overall DPS. So, love Unholy right now. I think they're great. The grips are still very useful in a lot of raid fights as well as Mythic Plus pulls. Uh AMZ is great on
overall, I got to give my hats off to Death Knight in general. It's doing pretty good, but I would say Unholy is the cream of the crop for me. Uh moving on next to Devourer Demon Hunter, the brand new kid on the block. I got to say
Devourer, even though it may seem simple, this is a spec that does take some skill to play, and if you don't know what you're doing, you could be at trust me, I would know. There are some of my friends, guild mates, party
members that I invite, and they deal no damage. But then, every once in a while, I'm grouped up with a Devourer that is just nuking the entire damage meters. It is absolutely insane. We're talking about Collapsing Stars for 3, 4, 500k,
hitting everybody. Very, very fun, uh, you know, style of gameplay. Do you remember though, listen, just because it's three, four buttons total, it you know, the ceiling of it can be very
high. So, overall, the damage profile is very, very good. You just got to know patient, when to hold, and then when to, you know, actually activate and get for example, like the dragons in the Void Spire raid. There are some points
but you be you should be a little bit more patient because, you know, you have them and cleave on top of the boss at once. Yeah, so there there you got to actually perform. None of that. We love
caster cleave comp right now. I literally bring them in every single one of my plus 14s, 13s, every single time. A Devourer is mandatory, in my opinion, for me. Absolutely love it. And, uh, I think their profile is great. Utility is
kind of garbage. Survivability is pretty, like, average to sub sub par at best. But, damage profile is awesome, very simple spec, and, uh, you know, hard to master. So, love Devourer right now. Moving on next to the great tier.
Ooh, the start of the great tier. We're going to start off with Marksmanship Hunter here. Now, I actually really like Marksmanship and what they're able to do. When you're looking for somebody to just knock out of the park damage on
demand, Marksmanship is probably your go-to guy. Like, over probably even most of these specs, maybe Retribution Paladin, uh, can somewhat compete, but Marksmanship's pure, raw damage profile is not normal right now. Very, very high
cleaving going on with Aspect of the Hydra. uh, Uh your Sentinel Hero talent tree is doing work right now on the numbers. Aimed Shot is like 60% of your damage uh combined with the Sentinel talent tree. So, like overall, it's the
rotation is quite literally Aimed Shot, Arcane Shot, Aimed Shot, Arcane Shot, uh you know, Rapid Fire, Arcane Shot, Aimed Shot, Arcane Shot. Like it's literally as straightforward as that, but the damage is out of control. Your priority
from Marksmanship Hunter right now across the board in terms of Mythic Plus and rating. The damage profile is very, very consistent, high when you need it, you know, cool down windows when you need them inside of that raid, uh like
Void Spire and even um you know, the the Dream Rift, it just it performs. Like and they're ready to deal damage. So, I love that about Marksmanship really cuz I really, really solid spec uh overall, I would say. Next up, we actually are
going to talk about the Destruction Warlock. Now, man, this is a spec that I alpha. Like I thought they were performing decent, but I didn't think they were going to scale continuously this hard. And by the way, I don't think
they're going to continue to scale as you get more stats on Destruction, and they're going to do stupid numbers. This is the only spec in the game that I was able to hit over a million DPS on in a pull in Mythic Plus so far. So,
I can't believe I actually did that. I hit like 1.1 million DPS in the first and it pretty much just carried my whole DPS the entirety of the dungeon, which was pretty hilarious to see. But overall, in terms of pure AoE damage,
the best in the game if you know what you're doing. Uh it's literally as Malevolence, you got your Wither on everybody. Haste is really high. You're spamming Rain of Fire into Conflagrate. That's pretty much your entire rotation,
and you just nuke everything. So, pure AoE, very, very good. Not only that, them, but there are a couple fights in incredibly good. For example, Nexus King Salhadar is S tier, like I think it's
split on the orbs and stuff like that. Very good damage. Uh the dragon fight, really, really good as well. So, like there's a lot of damage profiles in this which is really scary because if you give Destruction that as well, they're
better. So, you know, God forbid Demonology somehow crashes and burns and Destruction's easily going to pick up the spot and go right into the S tier, solid tier. So, overall, love Destruction, great build variety, good
single target, good AoE cleave, good on-demand damage, really, really good spec overall. Um moving on next, we do have to talk about the Augmentation because I thought Augmentation, once again, I thought it was a decent spec,
pretty good heading into, you know, Midnight, but if you put Augmentation in a group of players that actually know what they're doing, the damage you can deal is actually really, really high. Now, it
doesn't really show properly inside of World of Warcraft on the damage meters, that's why you have to log everything on an Augmentation, but if you actually log and you go check the logs on Warcraft logs, bro, their damage is crazy. Like
it's almost as high as like Devour or even Unholy overall damage. So, typically what I've seen is like I've seen like an Augmentation, uh a Devour or Unholy, and then, of course, a Frost Mage, and you combine that with like, um
you know, a Prot Paladin or even a Guardian Druid, and then you have uh your healer with them. So, overall, I mean, you just have your caster cleave Augmentation, you're crushing [ __ ] top to bottom, and their damage amp is just
out of control. Pretty fun in terms of, you know, gameplay. I'm not a huge fan of it. The only problem this spec isn't in the solid tier is simply because it requires really good players around you to really perform at the highest echelon
Overall though, I would say they're great. They're not solid because it Good spec overall though. Incredible utility, great defensive toolkit, great buffing your allies. So, pretty fun there. Moving on next, we have the
elemental shaman. Now, elemental shaman is such an interesting sort of subject to talk about because there are some fights in this raid where they are excellent, excellent damage dealers. Like where you need the on-demand burst
damage. For example, like Bellaren when you need to get those eggs down as soon phasing and stuff like that, then you pop lust and you're ready to go. So, you like on-demand. For example, Marksmanship Hunter, Elemental Shaman,
Devourer Demon Hunter ready to go with Collapsing Stars. So, in that regard, they're one of the best, if not the best in the game at just pure ready to go nuclear ascendance bloodlust combo. Like they're going to go crazy. But, their
problem has been like consistent AoE and survivability. Now, they did get some Typically, I had them at like the average tier, but because of the buffs Chain Lightning, Lightning Bolt, and stuff like that, they actually bumped up
Mythic Plus is pretty damn good, too. Once again, my problem with Elemental is God forbid you're in a pug group where the tank doesn't really pull enough mobs, or you guys wipe, or something bad happens, Elemental goes to the gutter.
they're going to the gutter. They're not going to perform as consistent as Frost Mage, Ret Paladin, Demo Lock, Unholy DK. Absolutely not. It's nowhere near any of cool downs properly, Elemental's not in a good spot. Also, I hate their
defensive cool kit. I think it's one of the worst in the game. Really not good. I like their utility, Capacitor Totem, you know, Thunderstorm. called? Your your other totems to
pretty good stuff, but overall, if you don't know what you're doing at Ellie, badly. Moving on next to ex- speaking of a nuclear damage, we have the devastation evoker. Now, the reason I'm putting devastation slightly behind
elemental is because they're very similar damage profiles. cooldowns and you're ready to go, nuclear numbers. Outside of them, not too much, not as consistent as all these other specs in the game. Uh I really
like devastation's defensive toolkit like substantially better than elemental. So, in that regard, I would rank them higher, but I feel like the total cap out burst damage, it actually goes to Shaman here. And I don't know
about you guys, I love talking about damage. Damage is the most fun thing to comparing one to one, it's kind of like apples to oranges here. Similar profiles, just devastation's a little worse in that in terms of pure burst,
but consistency, they're actually better. But, whatever, it is what it is. I think they have decent build variety. Um they did get some flame shaper buffs, I think yesterday, Tuesday on the reset. Um so, we'll see how that pans out. I
don't think it's going to mean anything, but I guess it is what it is. Scale commander's incredible damage overall in mythic plus. Deep breath is so much damage of yours, and uh double deep breath is just super fun. So, overall, I
spot. I don't think they need any changes, so I think they're doing good. Uh moving on next to survival hunter. This is one of the more straightforward specs you can play in World of Warcraft, and a lot of people were very worried
about it heading into this expansion, and now it's all about bombs, Molotov cocktail, boomstick, stuff like that. So, overall, the gameplay style has but I think it's done wonders for them. Typically, man, I hate to say it,
survival's pretty [ __ ] spec. Like, they've never really been excellent, and now. I would say they're great. Their damage profile is really good. Tip of the spear wildfire bomb is with the boomstick, does really good numbers. Um
there when it comes to pack leader and sentinel. So, I think there's good potential here. One thing I don't love about hunter in general is their utility is pretty low and you have to know what you're doing with their defensive
toolkit to get really good use out of it. Other than that, I mean, yeah, meters. I would say they're definitely above average and uh they're in a good spot right now. So, I'm overall happy with survival. Moving on next though, we
Now, shadow priest is a spec that's been constantly getting changes since post-launch of midnight and uh initially they were doing really bad. Their damage was really bad in the raid. Um, mythic plus was sub par. So, they made some
adjustments. Uh, they buffed up their damage like numbers of all of their abilities, but lowered the reliance on psychic link to really carry them great for them. Inside of mythic plus, Arcanes doing pretty damn well also. So,
a really good spot. Not only that, I like their utility. They got PI, mass dispel as well. Uh, a decent group buff with fortitude. So, like they get the job done. Honestly, in my opinion, I'd be happy in a group with like give me
frost mage, vengeance demon hunter, shadow priest, uh probably a resto druid good with that all day. I've played it. I've done it at tier level 13s and 14s.
It's worked out for me fine. So, I I I mean, I have no like hate against shadow good spot and I'm actually considering picking one up as an alt uh as well as a try them out. I think they're I think
now. Moving on next, a huge surprise, ladies and gentlemen. We have to talk about the arms warrior. Man, this is a spec that's been getting changes and straight. Um,
but now at this point, their AoE damage profile is really good. Like in terms of really good, but their single target has always been super super bad and lackluster. So, right now they got some buffs, execute damage increase for the
boss fights, AoE cleave damage potential is really high, Mortal Strike and Overpower dealing more damage, and I got to say overall Arms is in a pretty good spot. I think Arms is officially back as the premier DPS Warrior spec. Uh Fury
Warrior just isn't as scaling as hard as I wanted it to, uh which is kind of sad, and Arms Warrior with some stats, tier set, as well as some uh buffs, overall they're doing great. So, damage-wise, that's not a problem. Utility still
pretty mid, uh definitely reliance on, you know, a melee cleave comp to really perform. Um so, I I don't know in that regard. Defensive toolkit pretty mid as terms of defensive, but their damage is excellent. So, you can't take that away
right now. Definitely the premier Warrior spec in my opinion, uh in terms next now to the start of the average tier, we have the Balance Druid. Now, actually maining early on at the midnight launch, and I thought it was
pretty fun, but things just didn't feel right. There have been some changes uh overall and buffs, and I will say for Mythic Plus environment, their damage is really good and really consistent. We
know that, you know, Moonfire, Sunfire, Starfall spam, keep into your you know, deal really good damage. My problem is is inside of a rating environment, there are points where there is a lot of on-demand damage and AoE needed, and
that is not what a Balance Druid is about, man. It takes them a long time to ramp up and get going. That is not what a Balance Druid is about, so in rating they are not performing well. Um in Mythic Plus they're doing pretty good,
but still I wouldn't warrant taking them over a Devourer or a Frost Mage or a Demo or Destruction Lock or hell, even a Ret Paladin. So, I think they're good, but they're just, you know, just about average in terms of overall damage
beam is really good on some pulls in Mythic Plus. the Wild. You know, their their vortex is really nice for grouping up mobs as well. So, pretty good, just not great. And moving
on next, we have a similar story with Feral Druid. Feral Druid, I would say their damage is really good in terms of AoE. Boss fight damage, Feral Druid is horrible. Not good at all. Like pure single target, like I need numbers here.
Yo, Feral Druid is garbage. Like really, really bad. One of the worst in the other specs like Frost Death Knight in a minute, but I think I think this spec desperately needs help in the single target department. AoE, it's good. I
spamming swipe, you know, hero talent tree proccing off, ravage dealing a bunch of damage. So, it feels good in AoE, but man, single target, Feral is going to keep them and Balance Druid neck and neck. Similar stories,
different outcomes. It is what it is. Uh next up is Beast Mastery Hunter. Now, this is another, once again, similar story. Mythic Plus damage profile, very, very consistent. Very high damage in terms of AoE. Boss fights is once again
where this spec struggles. It's not the greatest on boss fights. It's good. I would say it's slightly average-ish. But there are definitely better boss fight damage profiles out there. And I think it stomps Beast Mastery in a lot
of regards to that. But in terms of Mythic Plus, very, very easy spec to play, consistent AoE damage, good profiles in a lot of these fights. Wild Thrash is good on demand AoE for a second. It's just so low pure single
target boss damage. Beast Mastery is not that good, and they can get outshined by a lot of specs in terms of just equal skill level. Like you give me a 99 parser on a demo lock or a red paladin or frost mage, compared to a 99 parser
on Beast Mastery Hunter, the damage will uh be quite different, I will say. So, straightforward, just needs some help single target. Moving on next, speaking of needs some help a little bit is Windwalker. Now, Windwalker Monk did get
some slight buffs to Fist of Fury's AoE damage, which should help them in the AoE department. My problem is is that there's still a couple abilities that just feel quite meaningless. Spinning Crane Kick deals no damage. Single
target boss damage, they're incredible. Like really, really good damage. I've Like really, really good damage. I've seen Lance pump like 80, 90, 100,000 damage when he has his cooldowns ready to go on a boss fight. So, really fun
there. Um my problem is that they're number one, they're AoE capped. So, very limited in that regard. So, that's an issue. Number two, you're very reliant on the group comp that you're with. You need a warrior in your group. You
have the Monk. You need a Druid, and then you need a Shaman. So, if you have deal really good damage, but you're very reliant on that. You're you're not a really good pick-up group, you know, class spec that it just going to go
dominate everywhere. You need help and you need the advantages of these other specs and buffs. Overall though, I would say Windwalker's just in that average spot. They're they're pretty good, I would say in overall AoE damage. They
just get out-scaled a lot harder by a lot of these other specs. By the way, their tier sets are really bad. They're I think the worst in the game overall. they're looking to just not scale that well. AoE damage isn't amazing, like
would say the star of the show for Windwalker is their single target is phenomenal. If this is just a pure single target, you know, tier list, I But, they're average overall. It is what it is. Nothing too bad here. Moving on
next, we have the Subtlety Rogue. Now, I would say overall Subtlety Rogue isn't in a horrible spot. Why I'm just placing them in average. I would say for a Mythic Plus damage profile, they actually can deal crazy numbers in terms
of, you know, moments of just, you know, shuriken storm, black powder, then you combo going off. You're just going to get constant resets of your your finishers. Really big damage, cool, awesome. My problem, rogue has
bottom. They bring no group buff, really really bad. Uh their crowd control is decent. They they have, you know, their their their AoE blind or if they might have it back. Even then, that's just still very
mid compared to everyone else in the game. Um their boss fight pure single target boss fight damage is really poor in terms of long duration fights. So, rogue performs worse and worse and worse. So, it is what it is. It's not
too bad. It's just average. Mythic plus damage profile is really good in terms of pure AoE. Uh they scale off of magic damage, so they're good with devourers, but other than that, I'm I'm not in love with rogue in general right now. I'm
just really not. Um moving on next now to fury warrior. Uh this was a spec that season and is starting to scale down a little bit worse now. They had a couple, I believe, adjustments over the last like month. Um not only that, their tier
set like talent bonuses aren't that good compared to some other specs in the game, so they're not scaling as well. And even with the stat bonuses and dealing as much damage as some of the other specs in the game, especially with
arms warrior on the rise right now doing incredible AoE damage. And now their execute damage got buffed, so slayer is doing a lot better. And uh I think I spot right now. I love their apex talent. Fury warrior is really good with
that. And I think their rotation is straightforward, but the uh target cap does not have that. Mythic plus arms warrior is doing better. I would say for they could definitely use some help overall. Moving on next to havoc demon
hunter. Um listen, it's kind of sad but simple to say, havoc demon hunter just simply isn't keeping up in almost any regard to Devourer Demon Hunter in terms of raid or Mythic Plus. Um not only that, they're kind of more
know, Havoc Demon Hunter's whole stick, straightforward [ __ ] melee. And Devourer's taking that, too. So, happen, like they were going to be left in the dust this season, um and it did.
It did happen, but it's a price to pay. Demon Hunter got a brand new spec. like Unholy got the rework, Frost Death Knight's going to suffer. It is what it is. It's just the name of the game at this point. So, Havoc Demon Hunter not
in a good spot, not loving them right now. I think they have good potential, a couple of Havoc Demon Hunters that can do some crazy numbers, but it's pretty hard to get there. While Devourer, you toss out a Collapsing Star or two,
damage numbers are going to be miles above. So, overall, not a horrible spec, just could definitely use a little bit of love. Uh speaking of a little bit of love is Affliction Warlock. Now, I want to make one thing very, very, very
clear. I'm maining Affliction Affliction Warlock right now, and I actually think they're pretty good, except for very specific fights inside of the raid. Now, in Mythic Plus, I would actually put them in the great tier. I think their
AoE damage is incredibly consistent, very, very high. Their curses bring invaluable utility, you know, slower casting speed on all the caster backs, really good in Mythic Plus. Um but for raid, they need help. They're in
the need help tier. Their single-target damage is pitiful. Their on-demand burst Um there's a lot of fights in here that kill one of the Phoenixes, uh they drop all of their dots, and it
problem. It takes, you know, it takes some time to ramp up, so like Affliction just it's sadly not a good damage profile in this raid right now. It is what it is. It it sucks. Tough [ __ ] It's one of the worst specs in the game
Mythic Plus really, really good. Seed of Corruption is huge. Um, their their tier set bonus if uh four set is really, really bad for Agony. So, that doesn't help them at all. So, overall, I would just say they just need help. If they
got like a 10 to 15 to maybe even 20% buff on just Unstable Affliction, I story with Affliction. I think they can be easily in the top average or even great tier. Um, but their single target is just not good enough. Their on-demand
damage is not high enough and uh there's a lot of fights that require that in season right now. So, moving on next, Assassination Rogue. I would say similar story. They're not doing too great on pure single target damage. They're just
not. Not good. Uh not only that, the rotation for AoE is pretty bland. You, Rupture to one target. You're literally spamming Crimson Tempest and you're using your finishers to try to get as many guaranteed critical strike procs on
that Crimson Vial proc for the extra AoE damage. My problem also with Affliction is that their energy regen is so slow. It is so slow. Oh my god. And I know, I proc it, and you can get it going, and it's pretty good. But, every once in a
minute to for that to happen, I need more of that. Like, I need a lot more. Assassination in that regard. Um, they don't have a lot of nuclear on-demand That's an issue for me. And their pure single target is just lacking. So, I'm
not in love with that. Moving on Outlaw Rogue. Once again, similar story, man, but instead of energy regen problems, it's more like Adrenaline Rush is the only time this spec feels good. You're also very, very RNG reliant. So, that's
rolls on Roll the Bones. You need good procs. You need a lot of Ace in the Hole procs to be able to stack up the Between the Eyes combos into like 6 12 18% bonus things rolling. But, that's not the case all the time. Welcome to Outlaw Rogue in
the RNG haven that is this spec still yet again. Um they are changing them slightly by buffing their raid single target damage but lowering their blade flurry damage. So, we'll see how that goes. Maybe they'll be slightly better
in raid and maybe go here potentially, but I don't think that's going to save problems with it. I I do think it's interesting and fun, but just really RNG reliant. I'm not in love with it. Um moving on next to fire mage. Now, this
heading into this expansion because I actually thought fire was in a pretty fun spot at the end of war within. It was my main in season 3. And I don't love what they did to it in midnight. Build variety really isn't too great on
fire mage. Um the gameplay is a little bit bland and it's very obvious outside of combustion you deal little to zero damage. Like literally none. So, you're very reliant on that cool down of combustion and outside of it you deal no
combustions properly on some of these raid fights, you're going to literally deal zero damage. It's not even a joke. Um not only that, inside of mythic plus if you're not in a really good group that pulls ginormous packs, you're not
It's just There's so many things going wrong for fire. It's just almost feels that makes sense. I don't know. I I personally think fire needs a major adjustment or a complete rework in my opinion. Bring back the old version of
combustion where it makes your maybe damage abilities like deal incredible damage over time effects. Give me something interesting because I don't think this automatic crit style of gameplay works anymore for fire mage
sadly. Even though I miss it, I I love the war within season 3 version of it. version of World of Warcraft. So, that's kind of sad. Um moving on next we now have the enhancement shaman. Now, I want to say something very very simply.
Enhancement shaman did just get some buffs. So, at the moment I'm placing this is going to change them drastically. I know Stormstrike got Um you know, Crash Lightning got some buff, and a couple of their other
well. So, like they're looking to do better, and I'm hoping they get bumped up to that average tier. But, the problem with Enhancement is number one, their defensive toolkit is bad. Like swamp ass bad. Not good at all for a
melee DPS compared to like Retribution Paladin, you have bubble and two other Um you have Unholy Death Knight, which is literally unkillable. Even Windwalker Monk has better defensive toolkit. So, like not loving that from Enhancement.
Defensives are really bad. Not only that, they're very cool-down reliant. Similar situation with Fire Mage, like without your uh your totem from your to deal any damage. Uh your surging totem. So, that's bad. So, they're
trying to buff Stormbringer a little bit with this patch, and I'm hoping it brings up their average damage a little bit more. I don't think it will though. I think they'll be like top of sub par, maybe maybe average now. So, we'll have
spec, man. I think they did good pruning them, but it just definitely needs some help in terms of just raw numbers. Uh moving on next, we have the Arcane Mage. Now, I'm going to say this very, very simply. I think Arcane Mage is the worst
DPS spec in the game inside of this raid right now with what's required from DPS. On-demand, like I need burst damage right now at this moment in time, Arcane
is not about that life, man. This spec requires a lot of setup, proper planning, and and you know, you know, really good execution when it's ready to deal damage. And there are some times, like back then in Mythic Plus where it
could do that, but now in this season, in this raid, things can happen so quickly where you need on-demand burst, where it's it's no [ __ ] obvious reason. Like no [ __ ] Demonology is going to be great in that profile. Ret
Paladin, Frost Mage. You Bro, if you press one rail for all stone Frost Mage, everything's going to die and you'll be top damage. It's such a joke. Same thing with Unholy. Like you have so much on demand AoE damage ready to go.
Uh uh Destruction Warlock, Devastation Evoker, Survival Hunter, Boomkin. Like so much damage. Arcane is not about that life, man. They're not They require a lot of setup. So, just in pure damage raid regard, they're not that good. Now,
in Mythic Plus, they're better. They're definitely better. I would put them probably average or great tier. Um their damage profile is pretty good there, but once again, why would I bring an Arcane Mage when I have Frost Mage? I just
wouldn't. I would never take that risk. I don't need to because I know what a pure single target, but then also on demand AoE. So, I'm good. Um I think Arcane Mage definitely can use some help, and uh let's just pray they get
else to say other than that. And then lastly, we have the Frost Death Knight. about because I actually really love the class fantasy of Frost Death Knight, and I think their Mythic Plus potential is very high. There's a couple on demand
like obvious problems here. Number one, Unholy Death Knight is by far better in better right now, and it's understandable. They just got a giant you like rework, and Blizzard spent a bunch of time on that. When Blizzard
to shove it in your face and say, "Hey, play with the new toy." It's what they with Demonology. It's what they did with Unholy. And as well as Frost, by the way. All the major reworks, look at the top of the list, they're all S tier. So,
Frost DK did suffer from that. Not only that, this is a spec that's very reliant on cooldowns to deal damage. Another spec like that? Fire Mage, Arcane Mage, Enhancement Shaman, Havoc Demon Hunter. These are all specs that are really
reliant on their cooldowns to deal a [ __ ] ton of damage, and as you can see on the list, those specs don't perform well anymore. Like at the moment in this Mythic Plus, they just don't perform well. This tier, it's all about
consistency, on-demand burst damage when it comes to AoE and cleave. It's not about cool down big setups anymore right now. That is not the meta. As you can see, like, the only exception to this is devour, but if you're just a little bit
stalls and you then you get into your meta form, bro, you'll top the damage meters. But, the point is is frost damage, the profile just doesn't sit right here. And not only that, one of the worst single targets in the game in
terms of pure DPS. Really, really bad in terms of that for Mythic Plus and even that regard. They did They did get some buffs somewhat a little bit today, but not loving it. I I do think they need help. Uh so, hopefully hopefully they
