[00:12] And considering the topic and the possibility of them being true, this is your potential spoiler warning. A guy facing the enemy. A threat.
[00:25] A journey far less than this one. Number 10. Steve's Return Shows MCU's Fears Following 11 years of MCU supremacy, 2019's Avengers Endgame was the finale in a long-running chapter.
[00:41] Do you want to tell me about her? No. No, I don't think I will. While the franchise continued into a new phase,
[00:55] the long story arc seemed less cohesive and more disjointed. Mixed in with general superhero fatigue, the pandemic, and the Jonathan Major scandal, the MCU began struggling critically and at the box office. Some of the productions that struggled financially or didn't break even include 2021's Black Widow and 2023's The Marvels.
[01:14] I know that this situation isn't ideal, but it is actually nice having people on board again. It gets pretty lonely out here. When it was announced that Robert Downey Jr. was set to play Doctor Doom,
[01:29] speculation arose that the MCU was hitting the panic button to entice viewers back to the cinema. New mask! Jane Taff!
[01:43] With Chris Evans' return, there's an idea that Marvel is even more worried. Number 9. The Latverian Witches If you were lucky enough to be at the 2026 San Diego Comic Con, you may have seen some interesting things at the Marble Room.
[01:57] And what about the witches? He talks about that. Those have been going viral. They're changing colors. I don't know. Look, we're just getting to know the world of Doom, and the witches are sort of an elemental part of everything here.
[02:13] Alongside some costumes from Avengers Doomsday that we saw in the recent trailer, there were some that weren't in it. The Doom X Latverian witches. Over three days, The costume was replaced with three different colors, green, purple, and orange, before Dune's own one replaced the witch's.
[02:29] As such, folks are wondering about the identities of these new characters. Essentially, every female character has been suggested, either the OG version or a variant. Yet the most popular idea is that the Scarlet Witch might be one.
[02:42] Yes, my is the Darkhold. I know it's the Book of the Damned, and that it corrupts everything and everyone that it touches. I wonder what it's done to you. The dark hold on and show me the truth. Another interesting suggestion is that they're the missing X-Men characters,
[02:57] Storm Rogue and Jean Grey Number 8 Dead Space Sometimes the internet is a wonderful place As soon as the recent Doomsday trailer dropped online fans began dissecting every little scene for possible tidbits of information
[03:11] I fought with many warriors in my time. They were far stronger than all of us put together. Some eagle-eyed viewers saw that in a couple of scenes,
[03:24] there was dead space next to prominent characters. A similar situation has happened in earlier trailers and teasers. This gave rise to speculation that Marvel is either hiding potential plot spoilers from the trailer, or that we can expect characters, either from older, non-MCU Marvel films or completely fresh introductions.
[03:44] It's not unusual for Marvel to mislead slightly in their trailers, as they alluded to the Hulk being in the final battle of 2018's Avengers Infinity War when he left. Number 7. Tony the Anchor.
[04:00] Ever since Endgame, the MCU has heavily featured the multiverse. How much experience do you guys have with multiverse? We had experience with the multiverse most recently. There was an incident with Spider-Man.
[04:12] Oh, man. With Doomsday, the plot seemingly involves it unraveling. Well, as we found out in 2024's Deadpool and Wolverine, there may be a good reason for it happening in the main MCU universe.
[04:24] The demise of its anchor being. According to the TDA's Mr. Paradox, when an anchor kicks the bucket, that universe collapses. What's an anchor being? An anchor being is an entity of such vital importance that when they die, their whole world slowly withers out of existence.
[04:39] You've just won the lottery because I didn't die. It's just a little midlife crisis, I'm better now. Fans have theorized that Tony Stark was the MCU's anchor, kick-starting the multiverse problems after his sacrifice in Endgame.
[04:51] This was seemingly supported by MCU head Kevin Feige, who referenced killing his own anchor being during a 2025 interview. However, he didn't go into detail about who it was, so it could be Vision, Black Widow, Gamora, or another death from Endgame.
[05:06] When Logan had come out in such a great movie, we were working on Infinity Ward Endgame, where I was trying to stick the landing with sending off our own anchor being. And I thought, you know, if you speak, no reason to do it. You've done it. You've done the impossible.
[05:20] Number six, Franklin Richards is the key. Marvel comic fans know just how powerful Franklin is. And if the fan theories have it right, he could be a major catalyst for Doom, either positive or negative.
[05:32] After all, in the post-credit scene with 2025's The Fantastic Four First Steps, we saw Doom interacting with Franklin. Some believe that when the toddler touched Victor's face, it healed his scar or changed his appearance to look like Tony.
[05:49] It's then speculated that Doom, perhaps pretending to be a hero, used Franklin's power to combat the incursions, essentially turning the Young Richards into Doom's Infinity Gauntlet. The fourth day is done We should have faced with an outing for both of these shows On the flip side some fans believe Franklin will be the key to stopping Victor

[06:35] Seven years after Steve Rogers went into the past and returned to the present day as Old Man Steve, Doomsday gave us the young version back. Hey, pal. It's not possible.
[06:47] However, some can't shake the feeling that something strange is happening. There's a belief that this isn't exactly Steve. Instead, it could be Hydra Cap, the version from the comic event Secret Empire,
[07:00] when Captain America's history was changed to having always been a HYDRA agent. After all, that version can lift Mjolnir just like the trailer showed. There's also speculation that it could be Loki in disguise,
[07:14] believing Thor wouldn't trust him. And thanks to his work at the PDA, he is worthy of Mjolnir. Other possible suggestions on Steve's true identity include Mephisto, Mystique, and even Doom.
[07:35] Number 4. Magical Doom Not many Marvel beings can withstand a strike from Thor with Stormbreaker. Even Thanos fell victim to it. I told you. You'd die for that.
[07:47] Yet in the Doomsday trailer, Doom blocked a powerful strike from Thor with only two fingers. Immediately, there was outrage from some devoted fans who felt it was too OP. However, once again, eagle-eyed viewers noticed a design on Victor's gauntlet that resembles a magical rune.
[08:04] In the comics, while Doom is well known for his science acumen, his magic proficiency is just as dangerous. There is no denying Dr. Doom is a formidable villain. A genius scientist on par with Mr. Fantastic.
[08:18] A powerful sorcerer able to keep up with Doctor Strange. After all, he's dabbled with the dark arts for years, and his mother was a user. So we can probably expect him to employ runes, spells, and artifacts,
[08:31] and have a colorful light battle against Doctor Strange. Certainly not, I speak for myself. This is track passing in this city and on this planet. Number three, Steve broke everything. At the end of Endgame, he departs back in time to return the Infinity Stones to their
[08:46] rightful place. Remember, you have to return the stones to the exact moment you got them or you're going to open up a bunch of nasty alternative realities. Don't worry Bruce, clip all the branches.
[08:58] And in doing so, he gets to live his life with Peggy Carter. Cute. However less cute is that it may have caused all the issues that led to Doomsday After all in Endgame the Ancient One makes it clear that the timeline is fragile and can split
[09:16] The Infinity Stone creates what you experience as the flow of time. Remove one of the stones, and that flow splits. Now this may benefit your reality, but my new one, not so much.
[09:29] So, with Steve going back in time and likely changing things, no matter how small, like the butterfly effect, everything is different. One of the knock-on effects is believed to have led to the destruction of Dune's family.
[09:41] With his world in tatters, either literally or metaphorically, Victor goes on a dark crusade to correct Cap's time traveling. Number 2. Friendly Galaxy Spider-Man and Friends We've seen fighting in space before, what's one more?
[09:55] Heck, it was even in an Avengers film. Okay, no, it's going to be... You should not be here. I was going to go home. How did you get here? It was such a long way down, and I just thought about shooting... And now I got to hear it. ...on the side of the ship, and this shoot is... ...criticiously intuitive, by the way, so if anything, it's kind of your fault.
[10:10] While Tom Holland's uber-popular web-slinger is still suspiciously absent from Dean's Day cast list, we have to believe he'll at least be making a cameo. It's Spider-Man! Just give me a sec. Give me a sec.
[10:23] I'm not in high school anymore. Ugh. Did you stretch? Did you stretch here? It's so good for you. The post-cut-up scene of Brand New Day seems to point in that direction, with Ned's Spidey tracker all but confirming the webhead will be heading to outer space.
[10:37] Like, really far out there in outer space. He did just meet a certain psychic mutant, too, so who knows? Maybe she's tagging along. As we said earlier, Doom does like his witches. Either way, something tells us Doom will be meeting Peter Parker sooner rather than later.
[10:53] I found Alien, too. On Earth's end, you say? Oh, yeah, he was purple. Well, I want to fight an alien. I'm still like that you fought an alien in space. Number one, the death of two big hitters.
[11:06] Remember how cool it was for Tobey Maguire to reprise his Peter Parker in 2021's Spider-Man No Way Home? And Hugh Jackson to be Logan again in 2024's Deadpool and Wolverine? I know you both. Nope.
[11:18] But I know you. Everybody knows me. I'm the Wolverine. Yes, you are. Well, if a leaked plot for Doomsday is to be believed, you're going to be very sad.
[11:31] Apparently, in the film's opening, Wade and Logan arrive on Maguire's Earth to destroy it to save another and stop an incursion. However, the explosive requires Wolverine to remain behind to set it manually, causing his and Spider-Maguire's demise.
[11:45] It's alleged that in the Doomsday trailer, the planet Charles of Gavior watches be destroyed is this Earth. with Jackman's Wolverine's death. This could be the opportunity to introduce a new actor to play a variant of Logan.
