[00:02] rich with sports betting. But how much can you actually earn? That's what I'm going to explain in this video. I'll start by explaining how to [00:14] calculate winnings with a real example, and then we'll project what you could be earning in 6 months, starting with just 300. I'll finish with an extra bonus where I'll show you how to verify for yourself [00:30] if you're a winning sports bettor without having to wait sports bettor without having to wait months. Starting with 00, months. Starting with 00, in 6 months you could be generating [00:44] 3150 without having added anything of your own money. And of course, I'm assuming you'll be making value bets and not bets sent by scammers and snake oil salesmen, because otherwise the video wouldn't be about how much you'll win, but how much you'll [00:59] lose. Let's start this example assuming you have a bankroll assuming you have a bankroll of 500, which isn't super difficult to achieve. I'm also going to assume, simply for the purposes of the [01:11] calculations, that you'll start with the Bet Investor software, which is the one I use and recommend for receiving bets. This software sends you around 2000 bets per month, but you won't be able to place them all, so I'm [01:25] going to assume you'll place around 300 bets per month. I'm also going to factor in a 10% value. As you can see, the value of the bets sent by this software is greater than 10, but not everyone will [01:40] take the highest odds, so I'm going to use a value of 10. For each bet, we can wager a maximum of 2% of the bankroll, which would be $ per bet. This is what I explain in the bankroll management video. With this, [01:56] we can start calculating our winnings. First, we have to calculate the total wagered. If we place 300 bets and wager $1 per bet, that gives us a total of $3000 wagered. And remember, I know we do n't have $3000; we [02:13] started with $500. But keep in mind that if you place 10 bets on the first of the month, they will be settled by the second or third, so you'll have that money available again to place bets. Let's bet on it, that's the magic of making [02:29] money with sports betting. If we consider, as I said, a 10% return, we take the $3,000 bet, multiply it by 0.1 (which corresponds to multiply it by 0.1 (which corresponds to this 10%), and that gives us a profit of $300. It does [02:44] n't seem like much, I know, but we have to consider that we started with barely $ 500. Winning $300, honestly, seems like an incredible return. And if what you want is to look for challenges from $500 to $5,000, well, you can go with any snake oil salesman, [03:00] they'll be happy to help you. Here, it's just a matter of math, and that would be the profit for the first month. But now comes the magic, and here it depends on each person. If you want to take the $300 and spend it on whatever, that's [03:16] an option, but if you want to win more and more, the best thing to do is win more and more, the best thing to do is add the $300 won to the $500 bankroll, giving us a total of $800 for the new bankroll. Therefore, [03:32] we will no longer bet $10 on each bet, but now 2% of 800 is 16, and that's what we'll bet on each bet. Let's do the calculations again: 300 bets [03:45] the calculations again: 300 bets placed times 166 on each bet $4800 bet. We multiply this bet. We multiply this $4800 by 10%, which you already know is 0.1, [04:00] giving us $80 in profit for the second month. It seems worthwhile not to withdraw that $300 and use it to win more in the second, third, and subsequent months. To avoid making the video too [04:15] long, I'm not going to repeat the calculations all the time; I'm simply going to show you how each month would look in a table. Although, of course, you can do them yourself and verify that what you're going to see is true. By doing the same calculations, in month [04:30] 3 you see that the bankroll has increased to 12280, which would give us a profit of $ 12280, which would give us a profit of $ 780 for that month. In month 4, we increase the bankroll again, and we would move to $230 in profit. For month 5, we continue [04:47] increasing the bankroll with our winnings, going from 12230 to winnings, going from 12230 to 150, so that by month 6 we'll be earning $3,000. As you can see, we started earning [05:04] $3,000. As you can see, we started earning just $300 a month and ended up earning $3,150 after 6 months. And of course, to be 100% honest, I have to tell you that these are calculations for [05:20] calculations for expected or estimated earnings. You're not going to earn exactly the figures you just saw, which is explained in the video about whether luck exists in sports betting. But if you're too lazy to watch [05:34] the video, don't worry, I'll explain it to you, and you can check it in all the graphs for each month. The green line is the actual profit, and the blue line is the estimated profit. Sometimes our earnings will be higher than what we [05:50] generated, and sometimes they'll be lower, but in the long run, if you look at the totals with more than 17,000 bets, both will be equal. They're going to be exactly the same as the actual profits we're going to get. We'll move [06:05] directly to the extra bonus where I'll show you how to check if you're a winner in sports betting. If you're watching this video, you've probably already seen the first video in this series. A free course where I basically told you that it's [06:20] where I basically told you that it's impossible to be a winner betting on the major leagues, and I'm sure many of you have thought, "Well, I do make money, blah blah blah. I have a foolproof betting strategy, blah blah [06:35] blah." Well, I'm going to show you how to prove it yourself. First, I 'll explain it a bit technically, but then I'll show you how to verify it in a very simple way. You know that in value betting, to be a [06:49] winner, we have to bet on odds higher than the actual odds, and if you do this, you're a winner. That's the technical part, and to prove it, you have two very [07:01] simple ways. The first is that you place a bet on any match you want and write down the odds you bet on. on any match you want and write down the odds you bet on. match starts, you go to a website called Hotsport, which I've mentioned in a previous [07:16] video. You search for the match you bet on and look at the Pinnacle sportsbook and the odds they have just before the match starts. [07:28] If you bet on odds that are higher than the actual odds... Pinacol right before the match starts. Then you're a winner. Or at least that bet is a [07:40] winner, and if not, then obviously you're a loser. This is how it is, and as you know, it doesn't matter if the match in question is won or lost; we're talking about [07:52] long-term winners or losers. The other option you have is to go directly to your bookmaker. And yes, they have the option to close the match before it ends. If you've made a value bet, and therefore a long- [08:08] term winner, before the match even starts, they'll already be paying you more than you bet, as you can see in the picture. That way you'll know you're a long-term winning bettor. If, on the other hand, they pay you less than you [08:23] bet—a 5 bet and they pay you 3.58—then you're a loser. And seeing this, I'm sure many of you have wondered, "Should I close this bet where they're paying me even though the match hasn't even been played?" The [08:39] answer is, I don't know you're eager to do it because it's free money, but the value they're paying you in the example you saw, a couple of cents, [08:51] is a lot. lower than what you've generated, therefore in the long run you'll earn more than you're being paid at that moment. So trust in the long term and don't close that bet prematurely. Don't be short-term.
