## Summary

This video is a complete step-by-step tutorial on the Slush Wallet, a Sui-native wallet developed by Mysten Labs. It walks through installing the wallet, creating an account via ZK login or a self-custody passphrase, funding and transferring assets, swapping tokens, and using built-in earning tools such as strategies, staking, vaults, and lending. It also highlights connected dApps and future features like private transactions and a credit card.

### Key Points

- **What is the Slush Wallet** [00:01] — Sui-native wallet by Mysten Labs. It supports trading, earning, dApps, games, DeFi, NFTs, and more features are planned.
- **Download and install** [00:44] — Search 'Slush Wallet' in the App Store. The official wallet is by Mysten Labs.
- **Account creation options** [00:58] — Powered by ZK login for simplified onboarding, or choose 'create with a passphrase' to get a 12-24 word recovery phrase. Store the phrase offline and never share it.
- **Funding the wallet** [01:42] — Use the buy button to purchase SUI with fiat via providers like MoonPay or Coinbase, or send SUI from an exchange by scanning the receive icon and copying the wallet address.
- **Sending funds** [03:04] — Click send, choose the currency and amount, paste the destination address, pay a small fee, and the transaction confirms in about a second.
- **Swapping tokens** [03:42] — Use the swap button, select source and target coins, adjust slippage, and confirm. A SUI transaction settles in 0.57 seconds versus 4-5 seconds on Solana.
- **Earning options** [04:51] — Three main sections: strategies (vetted external apps), staking SUI, and vaults/lending. Each carries its own risk.
- **Strategies** [05:16] — External DeFi strategies such as stablecoin pools or Wall Coin with ~22% variable APY. Deposit with a small gas fee, auto-convert between assets, and withdraw anytime.
- **Staking SUI** [08:13] — Native staking with a validator or liquid staking via protocols like Moonlit. Rewards start after 16 hours and are claimable after 40 hours.
- **Using dApps** [10:19] — Apps tab lists many dApps by category (gaming, finance, DeFi, NFTs). Connect your wallet to exchanges like Bluefin and trade inside the wallet.

### Conclusion

Slush Wallet is a practical all-in-one entry point to the Sui ecosystem, and the tutorial shows exactly how to get set up, trade, and earn — just always research before depositing.

## Transcript

how to use the Slush Wallet, which is a Sui native wallet by the original there's a ton that you can do within this wallet, like trading, earning, using apps to access games, DeFi, trading, NFTs, and a ton more with many
features coming out in the near future. So, we're going to go through everything welcome back to another Crypto Gorilla video. As usual, I'm not a financial advisor. I also have zero control over this app or any future
you do your own research before downloading and using it. A special today's video. Hit the subscribe button and let's jump right into it. So, step App Store or click the link in the description down below and search for
the Slush Wallet, which is the one by Mysten Labs. And once you've downloaded app. And from here, we're going to need options when it comes to creating your account. If you want simplicity and you
of the two options you can see here. This is actually powered by ZK login, which was built by Mysten Labs, which essentially simplifies the onboarding process into Sui without compromising on security or self-custody. Now, if you're
you're going to click on more options and then select create with a and then select create with a passphrase, which is a 12- to 24-word sentence of randomized words, and you want to save this offline, not in your
Gmail or in your Google Drive or anything, and never ever share this with they're going to have access to your money, and there's no refunds. Nobody happens. So, now that we have the app,
do is fund your wallet. Now, there's a few ways you can do this, one of which is buying Sui directly in the Slush Wallet. So, to do that, you would click on the buy button. You would pick the currency, in this case, Sui. So, So,
click on buy. You select the amount. I'm just going to put $100. Click on next, different options you can use. These are going to be different based on the country that you're in. Some of them are going to require you to KYC, so you're
ID, and you probably recognize some of these like MoonPay, as well as Coinbase. rate, so pick whichever one works for you. Or, if you already have money on a
centralized exchange or an external Sui wallet, you can also just send your Sui from the exchange or that wallet into the Slush wallet by clicking on the scan icon on the top right here, not on the request button. Request is to request
money with a Slush link. With an exchange, you need a wallet address. So, I'm going to click on the scan icon. I'm going to click on receive Sui, and it's going to give me a wallet address. At the bottom, I'm going to click on copy
address. And when you go in your centralized exchange to send out money, you would paste that wallet address into the exchange and send Sui into your Slush wallet. It's going to appear within a second. Now, if I want to send
money from my Slush wallet into a centralized exchange or an external wallet, here I would do send, but the process is the same. So, I'm going to click directly to a wallet. I'm going to pick the amount that I or I'm going to
pick the currency first of all that I want to send. After that, I'm going to pick the amount that I want to send. I'm going to paste the wallet address, and then at the bottom, there is a small fee. I would click on send. I don't want
the money to show you how to use this app, but it would happen within a second. It's going to confirm. It is very quick. So, now that we know how to receive and send money, let's go ahead and make our first trade, which we can
do by clicking on the swap button. Now, once again, at the top, first you're going to want to pick the currency you are trading from. So, I'm going to pick USDC cuz we're going to go ahead and buy some Sui. I'm going to pick 25% of my
current USDC. At the bottom here, I'm going to pick the coin I want to let's say you couldn't see it for some reason, you would just search Sui and it's going to pop up there. I'm going to click on it and it's going to auto
convert for me. You could adjust the slippage. You know, it's USDC to Sui, so to click on save. There's also some fees. So, if you're cool with that, if you're cool with the exchange loss and everything, I'm going to go ahead and
click on swap. This transaction is costing me like 5 cents. So, I'm going to click on swap and it's going to go through within like a second. It is very quick here, less than a second, 0.57 seconds compared to a blockchain like
Solana, which takes roughly 4 to 5 seconds to do a transaction. So, that is how you trade within the Slush Wallet. Now, let's go ahead and explore the different ways, technically four different ways that you can earn, and to
get there, we would click on the little piggy icon with which says earn. So, we have three different ways, we have these strategies, we have staking, and we have vaults and lending. Now, each of these comes with its own different risks. So,
please do some research here and don't just blindly enter into something because it has a good percentage APY because there is risk involved to this stuff. So, let's start off with strategies, which these are external
apps that you can access within the Slush Wallet. These are vetted and Slush Wallet is actively adding more and more. So, for the time being, there are four different strategies. The first of which is a stablecoin strategy, which is my
personal favorite, and then we have higher APYs, but more risk, right? If I go for something like Wall Coin, which has a 22% APY on average, this is a
variable APY, so it's going to change in 6 months time, even a day, right? It can be higher or lower. But, if we scroll down, we can get an estimate. So, let's down, we can get an estimate. So, let's say I were to put $100,000 of wall token
into this strategy, after 1 year, I would have $21,995 assuming the price of the token doesn't move. If the price of wall goes down
50%, I actually lost money doing this because the amount that I made from this strategy doesn't cover the loss that I took. So, that's why I personally prefer stable coins. But, obviously, if you're bullish on a coin and you can make extra
money on it, this could be a viable option. So, let's just go ahead and pick a safer one with a stable coin. So, I'm going to go ahead and click on it. You see at the bottom all the details like how many people are invested, how many
how much money is in this strategy and so on. You see the average APY here based on the past 24 hours as well as 30 days. I'm just going to go ahead and click on deposit. I'm going to select an amount of money. So, let's just go ahead
an estimate on how much you can make. Once again, there is a small gas fee in Sui. If you're cool with it, I'm going to click on deposit. And voila, within 1.4 seconds, my money has been deposited
want to add more money into the strategy. I would just click on it. And then, here I can click deposit. And let's say instead of USDC, I want to add some Sui into a USDC pool, it's going to auto convert it for me. So, let's go
auto convert it for me. So, let's go ahead and put like $7.41 of Sui into this strategy. Once again, it gives me an estimate how much I'll make after 1 year. If I'm cool with it, I click on swap and deposit. And very quickly, it
swap and deposit. And very quickly, it is voila, 1.27 seconds, it is in this strategy. Now, let's say I'm done with this strategy. I don't want to do it anymore. I need my money to pay some bills, whatever. Once again, just click
on it, click on withdraw, and then select the amount here. I'm going to put 100%. You could do only half, you can do 25%, whatever. I'm just going to do 100%. It's going to give me the estimate, and then I click withdraw
USDC, right? It gives it all in USDC because we converted our SUI into USDC, and voila, it is done. I have my money back inside of my wallet. So, that's for the strategy section. There's also staking, which this is staking SUI. So,
we have liquid staking, or uh we have native staking with a validator. So, liquid staking would be with one of these protocols. Again, please do it with, or you can do uh the native
percentage, but let's just go ahead and click on Moonlit. I chose this at random just to show you how it works. I would select an amount of SUI, and then I would click stake, and very quickly, boom, it is done. My money has been
staked into that validator. If I want to get it out, I just click on the get it out, I just click on the position, I click on unstake, and right away, my money is back in my wallet. Unfortunately, I didn't earn anything
showed you this the first time, but uh here, rewards start after 16 hours of staking, and then it's redeemable after 40 hours. So, you can't claim rewards until you've been staked for at least 40 hours. Keep that in mind. You can't just
do what I did, uh stake, unstake, and expect to get some free money. And then finally, we have the vaults and lending. Once again, these are external apps. So, here we have Scallop, for example. It's It's external, but it's all happening
bottom right, I already connected, but you're going to connect a wallet. You are going to pick what you want to supply, let's say USDC. I click supply, I select an amount, I supply it, right? It functions very similar to the
different interface. Same thing for lending, which has a much higher APY, lending, which has a much higher APY, near 25%. However, it's, you know, it has its own risk, right? You are lending money via DeFi, via smart contracts. So,
once again, here I would just click log in, pick how you want to log in. We have in with that. We click on approve, and now I could that loan out money if I wanted to. You can do this on Scallop.
You can do this on different apps, and they're constantly adding more and more. Now, this isn't the only section that you can use external apps. We also have at the bottom the apps tab. So, let's go ahead and explore that. At the top here,
connected to. So, if I want to disconnect to one of these, I would click on the arrow. I can either disconnect all or just click one of them and disconnect. Boom, my wallet's no longer connected. But, we can see here
there are a ton of different apps to choose from, all in different categories. So, you got things like gaming, finance, DeFi. You even have an see your NFTs directly in the app, you can go to assets, and they would pop up
the apps page. So, there's a ton of different apps to choose from. Some of the top apps are things like Bluefin, as well as Sui Land. But, again, they're constantly adding more and more apps within this wallet. So, let's say I want
to use uh Bluefin, which is a decentralized spot and derivatives exchange. I would click on it. It's going to bring me to that page. I click on get started. Once again, I go ahead and connect my wallet. Here, I'm using
Slush. Approve, and voila, I'm able to start trading directly in this app within the Slush Wallet. If I click on the X, I am still within the Slush interface. As for what's coming next, especially in 2026, they have a ton of
plans. They're going to be introducing private transactions. They're also going to have feeless stablecoin peer-to-peer transactions, so you're able to send money to someone else without paying any fees. They're also working on getting
more strategies and more apps within the Slush Wallet. They're working on a Slush credit card, more on-ramps, so there is a ton to look forward to with the Slush today's tutorial on Slush Wallet. I hope you found it educational and useful. If
