## Summary

This video is a comprehensive beginner's guide to affiliate marketing with ClickBank, presented by Kirsten and Chris from the ClickBank team. It covers the fundamentals of affiliate marketing, step-by-step account setup, how to find and evaluate products in the ClickBank Marketplace, creating tracking links, understanding analytics, and getting paid. The video also touches on the seller side and introduces the ClickBank Platinum program.

### Key Points

- **Introduction to Affiliate Marketing with ClickBank** [00:00] — The video promises to take viewers from understanding affiliate marketing to having a tracking link ready in under 30 minutes, covering account setup, finding offers, and earning commissions.
- **What is Affiliate Marketing?** [01:26] — Affiliate marketing is a business model where a seller recruits third-party marketers (affiliates) to promote their products in exchange for a commission (flat fee or percentage) on each sale.
- **The Four-Step Affiliate Flow** [02:46] — The process is: 1) Choose a profitable product, 2) Generate a unique affiliate link, 3) Promote the link via traffic sources (social media, email, YouTube, blogs, paid ads), 4) Earn a commission on sales.
- **What is ClickBank?** [04:15] — ClickBank is a long-standing affiliate marketplace (since 1998) that has paid out over $7.2 billion in commissions. It hosts thousands of products across 23 categories and connects affiliates and sellers.
- **How a ClickBank Transaction Works** [05:19] — ClickBank hosts products, tracks impressions/clicks/sales, processes payments as a merchant of record, and routes funds to affiliates and sellers. It also provides analytics, tracking parameters, and fraud protection.
- **Setting Up a Free ClickBank Account** [07:07] — Go to ClickBank.com, click 'Start Here', fill in the onboarding flow (experience level, affiliate/seller/both), then complete the sign-up form with country, name, phone, email, and password. Complete profile and VerifyD verification to access payments.
- **Creating an Account Nickname** [08:24] — Nicknames are used to track affiliate activity. Choose a simple, professional nickname (e.g., 'ChrisAffiliate') as it's permanent and may be your first impression with sellers. Create it under 'Accounts' in the sidebar.
- **Navigating the ClickBank Marketplace** [09:39] — Access the Marketplace from the master account or affiliate nickname. Use the search bar or browse categories (health/fitness, e-biz, self-help, etc.). Click on a product to see detailed stats: average payout, initial/recurring commission, return rate, rank, and gravity.
- **Evaluating Affiliate Offers** [12:39] — Look for offers with a solid average payout (above $50 for digital, ~$120 for supplements), a gravity score between 20-100 for newer affiliates, and niches you're interested in. Avoid zero/low gravity (no recent sales) and overly competitive high gravity.
- **Becoming a ClickBank Seller** [14:30] — Sellers list their own products and are responsible for product creation, delivery, customer support, and fulfillment. It's more upfront work but has less competition. Steps: create a compelling product, optimize affiliate tools, attract top affiliates, and scale sales.
- **Creating an Affiliate Tracking Link** [18:15] — In the Marketplace, click 'Get Affiliate Link', confirm your nickname, choose hop link type, optionally add tracking parameters, and copy the link. This unique encrypted link attributes sales to your account.
- **Using Tracking Parameters** [19:56] — Tracking parameters (e.g., TID, traffic source, traffic type, campaign ID) help you identify which traffic sources and campaigns perform best. Example: TID=YT2026 for YouTube, TID=TT2026 for TikTok.
- **Testing Your Tracking Link** [22:14] — Test the link by clicking it and checking the order form for your encrypted affiliate ID. Decode it in Affiliate Tools to confirm it's tied to your account. This ensures you get credit for sales.
- **Understanding ClickBank Analytics** [23:53] — The analytics dashboard shows clicks (hops), order form impressions, sales, refunds, hop conversion rates, and earnings. Filter by nickname, date, or tracking ID to see which campaigns are working.
- **Getting Paid on ClickBank** [24:47] — Set up payment settings: threshold, method (direct deposit recommended), frequency (weekly/bi-weekly/twice a week), and tax information. You can start as an individual; no LLC required initially.
- **The ClickBank Platinum Program** [28:08] — Platinum is a VIP program for affiliates/sellers with at least $250,000 in gross sales in the last 12 months. Perks include one-on-one account management, VIP support, exclusive events, and networking. Top affiliates treat it like a business, build audiences, and use analytics.

### Conclusion

This video provides a solid foundation for anyone starting with ClickBank, covering everything from account setup to earning commissions. The key takeaway is to start simple: create an account, pick a niche and product, generate a tracking link, and drive traffic to begin your affiliate marketing journey.

## Transcript

If you're interested in making money with affiliate marketing and you're asking, how do I get started with ClickBank? Then this video is for you. We're going to take you from what even is affiliate marketing to having your first tracking link ready to start earning your
first commissions in under 30 minutes. You'll learn how to sign up for ClickBank step-by-step, find great affiliate offers to promote, and set yourself up to make money online with ClickBank
as an affiliate who promotes other people's products, a seller with your own product to sell, or both. That's right, and we're also going to walk through the latest QuickBank features, including the updated QuickBank Marketplace,
new sales reporting, advanced tracking parameters, server-to-server integrations, their FID, and a whole lot more. And if you stick around to the end, we'll also tease the QuickBank Platinum program,
what it means to become a Platinum, and some of the biggest benefits our top affiliates get access to. And that's the good stuff. By the way, I'm Kirsten, an account manager for ClickBank's School to Send program. Why help up-and-coming sellers navigate and scale the ClickBank platform?
And I'm Chris, Senior Director for Marketing. We are both part of the ClickBank team, and we've helped thousands of affiliates get started on the ClickBank platform over the years. So if you're ready to get set up for success on ClickBank, let's dive in.
Okay, before we click on anything, let's make sure we're on the same page about affiliate marketing as a concept and a business model. Oh, and on another note, we're going to start from the perspective of an affiliate marketer first, and then cover the seller POV second.
But you can jump around to any of this video using the chapter markers. Chris, what is affiliate marketing? Okay, affiliate marketing is actually pretty simple. A seller or a brand has created a product they sell, right?
Which could be anything from an e-book to a supplement or maybe software subscription or any kind of gadget. Whatever they're selling, say this product owner needs a little help reaching more customers and making more sales.
They can do that by recruiting third-party marketers, in this case performance affiliates, and agreeing to pay a commission, either flat fee or percentage, for every sale that affiliate brings.
Now, if you're watching this, chances are good that you want to be one of those affiliates. And what's cool about being an affiliate, if you don't have to build a brand or launch or own your own product to make money online, your only job as an affiliate is to promote someone else's product through a special tracking link that's unique to you.
When someone clicks your link and buys that product, you earn a commission on the sale. And if you can do that enough times, you're in. You'll be able to make a serious income through affiliate marketing.
That's exactly right, Chris. So think of it as a four-step flow. Choose a profitable affiliate product to promote. Generate your own unique affiliate link. And then promote your link online by sending traffic from sources like social media, email, YouTube, blogs, or paid ads.
Earn a commission on every sale you get paid. And again, as the affiliate, you don't have to deal with product creation, customer support, inventory, managing payments on your own. None of that overhead or those headaches.
You just step in as a helpful and expert marketer who can send qualified traffic to the product owner, and you introduce a quality solution to the end customer to help them solve whatever problem they're having.
It's honestly a win-win-win. And what makes ClickBank powerful is that we host thousands of products you can promote in almost any niche, from health and fitness, finance, relationships, hobbies, spirituality to pets, and a whole lot more.
So, if affiliate marketing has sounded vague up to this point, keep this in mind throughout the entire video. As an affiliate, your job is to get the right people for the right offer using your links.
Or putting it another way, just sell the clicks. That's all there is to it. If you're able to get enough people to click your tracking and go buy a quality offer, you will be well on your way to affiliate success.
So we talked about affiliate marketing and how it works. But how does ClickBank fit into this picture? If you're new to ClickBank, we are a long-standing popular affiliate marketplace with a ton of helpful e-commerce or seller features
for anyone who wants to grow their sales online, affiliates and sellers alike. We are truly the real deal in affiliate marketing. We've been around since 1998, coming up on 30 years now,
which, as you know, is almost as old as the Internet itself. But more importantly, we have paid out more than $7 billion, $7.2 billion. That's a beam in commissions to our clients over that time,
and we have never missed a payment. As we mentioned, one side of the equation features the sellers, individuals or brands who list their physical or digital products in our marketplace to get help making more sales from top affiliates.
Then there's the affiliate who promote those products for a commission. Ultimately, ClickBank is the hub that connects all of the parties involved in a transaction on ClickBank.
Real quick, let's walk through what a ClickBank transaction looks like. Don't worry if you don't fully understand all the math at this point. The main takeaway is that when you get sales on the product,
ClickBank makes sure you get paid for what you're owed every time. In a nutshell, ClickBank hosts the affiliate products, tracks all impressions, clicks, and sales for those products,
processes all sales as a merchant of record, routes the agreed-upon funds to affiliates and sellers, provides additional helpful tools like sales analytics, in-depth tracking parameters, fraud protection, and software integrations with popular ad platforms and third-party tools.
And the best part with ClickBank, you can be an affiliate, a seller, or both. It's all possible by creating one or more nickname accounts inside your profile, which we call your master or primary account.
One more thing. If you think you know what ClickBank is all about because you had an account with us back in 2011 or even 2021, One, well, you're wrong. We're not just a marketplace for e-books and low-ticket digital products,
although we do have those in space. We also have a thriving supplement and physical consumable segment. We have electronic gadgets. We have software. And we have high-ticket membership and coaching offers.
You get the idea. That's right. There's a ton of variety in the products that sell on our platform, including physical and digital, one-time sales or recurring slash subscription, and a whole lot more across 23 distinct product categories.
For now, let's dive more into how it all works with an affiliate. And we'll show you how to create a seller account in case you ever want to launch your own product on ClickBank.
Follow along with me to set up your free ClickBank account in less than 15 minutes. Start by going to ClickBank.com. Click on any of the Start Here buttons to begin. Once you click, you'll see a short onboarding flow
that asks a few questions like, what's your experience level? Are you planning to be an authority, a seller, or both? You can answer those to help heal your experience or skip ahead if you want to go straight to the free account sign-up form.
Once on the sign-up form, you'll enter your country, name and phone number, email address, a password, then read and agree to the terms, and click Join Clickbank. Once you're in, you'll land inside your main clicking profile.
Here you'll see prompts to complete your profile, set up how you want to get paid, and complete the VerifyD verification before you can fully access payments. Quick note, Verif is our identity verification partner.
It's there to protect you and our other sellers and cut down on fraud and keep the ClickBank marketplace healthy and secure. We're here to make bank, okay? So to get paid you got to complete your profile and finish that VerifyD verification Now we going to get into the fun stuff We going to create what called an account nickname or nickname account This is what ClickBank uses to track your affiliate activity and honestly do so much more It like a small
command center for each individual business. From your main dashboard, look in the sidebar for an option called accounts. Then hit create a nickname. Here you will see a dialog box that pops up and
and you can choose your account type, either affiliate or affiliate and seller combo. Next, you'll fill in a new nickname. I recommend picking a nickname that's simple, professional, and easy to recognize. Something like Chris Affiliate or Chris Ass 2026 is better than XXMoneyXX996929.
Yeah, that's because nicknames are permanent, so choose something you won't be embarrassed to share with people. Keep in mind that your nickname may be your first impression with many sellers, and some sellers only let you promote their products once you're manually approved or whitelisted.
So, it's definitely a good idea to put a little thought into the nickname that will reflect well on you and your affiliate business. Now, once you're happy with the nickname you've chosen and you've found one that's available,
click sign up and congrats! You now have an affiliate account inside your ClickBank profile and you're officially ready to start promoting the product. Note that you can always add a separate seller account as a new nickname later or even more an additional affiliate account.
For now, let's go find this product. Now comes the fun part. Let's look at the ClickBank affiliate marketplace where you'll find thousands of quality products to promote that you can earn tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars in affiliate commissions per year.
There's two ways to access the Marketplace, directly from your master account on the left-hand side or from inside your affiliate nickname account at the top. Either way, find Affiliate Marketplace in the menu. It'll have a little storefront icon. Click on that.
You should land in the Marketplace and check out that upper right corner to see your name to confirm that you're logged in. Perfect. Now that you're inside the ClickBank Marketplace, you have a few different options for how to navigate it and find a ringing product to promote.
At the top, you'll see a search bar. In there, you can type keywords like keto, dog training, supplements, anything that you want to promote. You can also search for a specific product name.
Or leave a blank and click on the magnifying glass icon to automatically see top offers on the platform. On the left-hand side, under All, you'll see the various marketplace categories. So if you want to focus on, say, health and fitness, e-biz and e-marketing, or self-help,
you can drill down into those niches and even their sub-niches to find exactly what you're looking for. One recent improvement in our marketplace is the amazing data you can now view for each affiliate offer.
In addition to the current snapshot of stats in the main marketplace listings, watch what happens when you click on the product name. You can see long-term performance trends for the following stats. Average dollars per conversion, what affiliates earn on average per sale,
initial commission and recurring revenue, return rate, combined refund and chargeback rates when available, overall rank and gravity scores. Basically, rank is where it sits in the marketplace for total sales. And gravity is a composite score for how many affiliates are making sales and how
recent those sales are. Lastly, you can see other offers on the marketplace listed by the same seller. So if you have a solid history with one seller or offer owner promoting more of their products is a great way to keep that relationship up. Obviously, this wealth of data helps you
quickly see, does this offer pay me enough? Are other affiliates actually making money with it now? Is it a one-time sale or does it have recurring revenue built in in the form of what we call rebuilds? I also want to point out that we regularly post top offers updates on our YouTube
channel and blog. Now, these feature hand-picked offers from our own affiliate management team. So if you're on the lookout for new offers to promote, our top offers content is another great way to find some solid ideas.
And of course, you can always jump back into the marketplace to dive deeper into any offer you hear about on the street or in our content and make sure it meets your standards. Okay, let's click into one example offer, Energy Revolution Systems.
In the main marketplace listing, you'll see the product name and description. You'll also see an affiliate page. This is where the seller often gives you email swipes, ad angles, banners, and more. They'll have a support contact.
Usually this is an email where you can ask questions. And there's more detailed stats and categories. That's right. If you're brand new to affiliate marketing, I don't think you need to obsess over every single metric.
In general, I've got just a few rules of thumb or big things to look out for. Look for affiliate offers with a solid average payout. Anything above 50 for a digital product, like an e-book or course, is honestly great.
Or 120-ish, $120 for a supplement, solid. Now look for reasonable gravity and performance. You don't want zero or low single digits, because then there's no proof the product is converting recently.
But you don't want to necessarily go after the highest gravity, most competitive stuff either. A gravity score between 20 and 100 is actually a pretty good sweet spot for newer affiliates. And lastly, this is important,
look for niches that you're actually interested in creating content or ads around. Just because other affiliates are getting sales doesn't automatically mean you will, especially if you know your audience. It helps a lot to really understand the niche and audience you're going after.
Okay, at this point, you should have a good idea of how to navigate the ClickBank marketplace and evaluate different affiliate offers. So take a minute, pause this video, and spend some time exploring the marketplace.
Maybe even save a few offers that catch your eye. Just click the little heart icon so it's easy to view and your favorite offers later. You don't have to commit to anything yet, but it's smart to get to know what's available.
And now that you know how ClickBank works, poor affiliates, let's turn our attention over to the seller side.
Let's talk sellers. Remember our little visual of a ClickBank transaction? Well, we've talked about what it means to be an affiliate who promotes other people's products, but what if you already have a product to sell, an idea for a product,
or even an existing audience you want to monetize with a product? Well, in those cases, you may want to list your product on ClickBank. That's right. I work with a lot of up-and-coming sellers on ClickBank.
So, take my word for it, becoming a ClickBank seller will take more upfront time, money, and expertise than becoming an affiliate. So, you're responsible for things like product delivery, product creation, customer support, operations, fulfillment logistics for physical products.
And this may sound like a negative, but it's really just about deciding what your goals are in business and making sure you're ready to take that step. So, while it may be more difficult to become a seller up front, it's also why you have much less competition than affiliates do.
There are just way fewer sellers with a product list on ClickBank than there are affiliates looking to promote those products. So, if you're ready to take control of your online income and get top affiliates to bring you sales of your physical or digital products,
then let's talk through the next four steps for getting started as a seller. Create a compelling affiliate product. Optimize your affiliate tools. Attract top affiliates.
And scale your sales. First, creating a compelling affiliate product. What makes this tricky is that you actually have to have two different audiences to think about. So you have your end customer and you have your affiliate base.
Speaking to the end customer, you want to create a unique selling proposition. And as for the affiliate base, you can probably guess what they care about. Remember when you toured the marketplace a little bit ago?
It just comes down to a few key numbers. We got conversion rate average payout value This is how much money an affiliate will earn every time they get a sale The higher the better Earnings per click And one more factor is the refund rate Once you have a solid product ready to list on ClickBank you have to get started with a seller account
Chris? Oh, I can help. You got your CR, your RR, you got your EPC, and your APV. So from there, on your main profile, click Accounts again. But this time, choose account type seller or that combination account type to make a seller nickname, and you're going to go through a similar flow.
Confirm your business and individual details, provide any required tax documentation, set up your payment preferences as a seller, everything that you need to actually transact. Inside the seller account, you see tools for creating products and offers, managing pricing and upsells, approving or managing affiliate relationships, and viewing seller site analytics.
And overall, there's a seller funnel that looks like this. If you're keeping track at home, we've identified four rough steps in the seller process. The first was launching a product, and then we had optimize your affiliate tools, attract top affiliates, and then scale your sales.
We're not going to be able to go deep into the rest of these steps for ClickBank sellers in this sort of beginner video, but it's important to know that ClickBank can be both your partner for recruiting and managing affiliates, and also your payment processor for handling all the sales and splits and commission payouts.
So if this is something you're interested in pursuing, we have a lot of available resources to help, including an onboarding optimizer we will link to below. One other resource is a video I created that goes into detail about how to onboard a product on ClickBank as a seller.
We'll link that in the description for you as well. For now... For now, let's head back into the QuickBank dashboard to talk analytics.
It's time for everybody's favorite step, or at least a very important one, creating an affiliate tracking link. This is how you get paid, so stick around until the end. In this section, we're going to cover how to use that Get Affiliate Link button inside the ClickBank Marketplace to start promoting products,
how to add tracking parameters to your links, which is one of our most important new features for affiliates, and how to work with the latest sales reporting and analytics dashboard on ClickBank so you can track and optimize your traffic and earnings data in basically real time.
Okay, now to create your very own affiliate link. Assuming you've picked an offer you like in the marketplace, click that big Get Affiliate Link button inside the products listing on the right-hand side.
You'll see a link generator pop up where you'll confirm your affiliate nickname. The seller nickname of the product you're promoting will be added there automatically. Then you hit continue. Depending on the product, you'll have the option to choose the hop link for a direct
tracking link or just a standard hop link. Optionally, you'll add some tracking parameters. We'll cover those in a minute. Click copy to copy the tracking link to your computer's clipboard. And now you can paste it directly into your landing page content or just keep it on hand
in the notes out for future use. And that's all there is to it, or at least to get started, because you now have a unique encrypted link to place wherever you're going to promote this product. And this is the foundation of your affiliate marketing success.
Whenever someone clicks that link and goes on to purchase the product, ClickBank will automatically attribute the sale to your nickname. And that's how you get more earnings. Now let me briefly explain tracking parameters.
Let's say you paste your tracking link onto a page without parameters. Let's just say a basic tracking link. What that does is successfully report back to ClickBank when someone clicks your link and makes a purchase so we can credit you with the sale.
But this doesn't add any additional information about that user or your campaign. This might be the traffic source it came from, when they clicked, or which individual ad or page they came from. This gives you key information so that you can enhance and optimize your performance.
Here's a must-know tip. You have a couple of ways to track where your clicks and sales come from. With the tracking ID, this is a short code you can add in the Hotlink generator or create yourself with the question mark TID equals.
Custom affiliate tracking parameters you can append to your link or set up right when you generate a link for the first time. That's right. That's right. So, yeah, let's say you want to track YouTube traffic versus TikTok traffic.
You might do something like this. Use a tracking ID or TID like YT2026 on one link and then another TID like TT2026 on a different link.
Depending on the offer and tools you're using, you can also pass a URL parameter like TID equals YT2026 or even your own UTM structure if you're tracking inside tools like Google Analytics.
That's right. Yeah. So let's say you want to track YouTube traffic versus TikTok traffic on your hotlink. On one, you might use a tracking ID or TID like YT2026 for YouTube, and on the other, add a TID like TT26 for TikTok, right?
So that's just using the TID parameter. We also have inside the link generator or that you can add on your own a bunch of additional traffic parameters that you can easily read and parse in your links, like traffic source and traffic type.
So that might be traffic source equals TikTok, traffic type equals paid, so that you, when you come back to check your campaign performance, already can know and really easily spot that you're running TikTok with this link on paid, TikTok organic on this link, Facebook paid on this.
You can even add things like campaign ID if you have a select number of campaigns you're running, the type of creative if you're testing different creatives. Basically, as granular as you want to get so that at a glance inside ClickBank Analytics,
you can see the whole host of your promotional efforts and what's performing best. All right, now we need to test your link. You don't want to put it out there without making sure it works. So, you copy this into a new browser window and you go through the order form.
Scroll down and look for a line that shows your affiliate attribution. Often something like affiliate equals your nickname or more likely a series of random letters and numbers. This is an encrypted affiliate ID to protect your identity against competing affiliates.
Now, the goal with this step is to confirm that when you click on your hoplink, it loads correctly. When you get to the order form, it shows the correct product. and when you scroll down to the bottom of the order form, through that encrypted ID,
you see that the sale will be credited to your affiliate account. If anything looks off, you can double-check your nickname, your affiliate tracking ID and other parameters, or even regenerate your tracking link from the ClickBank Marketplace.
Now, real quick, let's talk you through how to decode that encrypted affiliate ID so that you can make sure it's tied up to your actual account. So, again, the correct affiliate ID is referenced on the order form after clicking through from your link to the pitch face and to the vendor's side button.
You can copy that affiliate ID, which is at the very bottom of the order form. You'll bring that over into your Prime account, and you'll see Affiliate Tools on the left side, and you can decode it right there. Right. After you've copied and pasted that affiliate ID into the Affiliate Tools and decoded,
if it all looks good, correct affiliate nickname, correct seller nickname, you are in business, and you can be certain that you'll get credit for any sales that come through your link. Here you can see the following details.
Clicks on your tracking link, those hops and consume garbage. Order form impressions for users who have clicked on the Buy Now button on the vendor's sales page and saw the order form. Sales and refunds.
How many initial sales did you earn? Hop conversion rates. The conversion rate you saw from hops, the clicks on your tracking link, compared to your total initial sales. And your earnings over different date ranges.
That's right. Within your primary account, if you have multiple nicknames, you can filter by account nickname, date, even tracking ID or other parameters, depending on the report that you choose here. This entire section really is a command center a dashboard that helps you see which traffic sources and offers in your various campaigns are actually leading to sales and earnings which is the most important data to have Now all these numbers are cool but they really matter most if they actually translate to money right
Of course. So, let's talk about how you go from the numbers to getting paid on ClickBank. Now, here's the part everyone cares most about, making bank. A lot goes into getting paid on ClickBank, including payment settings, taxes, settlement,
and various business entities. I know these probably aren't the most exciting topics, but trust me, it's important so you want to pay attention. If you do this stuff right, it'll allow you to get money from ClickBank dropped directly into your bank account up to two times a week on autopilot without ever even having to think about it again.
So, in the settings. Inside your main ClickBank profile, go to Accounts in the sidebar and click your nickname account. From there, look for Account Settings in the top menu. Here you'll choose your payment threshold. This is the minimum amount you want to earn before
QuickBank sends you a paycheck. Payment methods like direct deposit, where supported, or checks. And your payment frequency. This is weekly, bi-weekly, twice a week, depending on options
available. If you choose direct deposit, this is where you enter your financial institution. If you choose a check, you'll specify the mailing address where the check will get sent. I mean, for most people, I really recommend direct deposit.
It's probably the easiest and fastest way to get paid. Otherwise, I mean, we've got to sign those checks. We've got to mail them out. Sometimes I might sleep on the job. Do you look at the envelope? It takes a minute. So make sure your bank details are accurate.
My tongue is numb looking at all these checks. You'll also see sections to enter your tax information. Let me show you that real quick. This varies by country to country, but generally in the U.S., this might be a social security number for individuals or EIN for businesses.
Outside of the U.S., there might be different tax ID requirements or forms. Yeah, we're not here to give you legal or tax advice. Frankly, I don't know if you'd want it from us. But don't skip this step because ClickBank, like every legitimate platform out there, needs accurate tax information to pay you and to comply with all the various federal regulations.
The question we get a lot is, do I need an LLC or a company to start? No, as a seller or affiliate, I mean, the simple answer is no. You can sign up with your personal details and get paid as an individual. You don't have to have a business entity to start promoting.
Most people actually begin as individuals, but later, if they find success and as your income starts to grow, you might want to talk to a tax professional about setting up an LLC or corporation,
changing your payee name to your business name, optimizing your tax situation. That's all stuff that as you find success and grow your income, you may want to consider down the road. We also have partners that handle this and are the experts in doing this.
So check out our partnership page to find experts that can walk you through this. For now, the key is use your real information, keep your account details up to date, and make sure you understand how ClickBank will pay you and in which currency.
Okay, we made it through. I know some of this is probably a little dry, like a good hard cider from our home in the Pacific Northwest, but it is important information. And now we're going to talk about what to aim at once you've got all this stuff set up and working for you
and that flywheel is in motion. And that is Platinum Shatter. All right, you've seen how to get everything up and started. But once you really start cooking as an affiliate, seller, or both, what does the next level look like?
Well, I happen to be the account manager for our Goal to Send program. I help up-and-coming click-dink clients who are usually around revenue of $25K per year. It's a great program for anyone who's curious about affiliate marketing and making it to the next level.
So if you qualify for it today or in the future, keep an eye out for an invitation to join. Yes. Kirsten and our Goal to Send program team provide a great stepping stone for a lot of the rising stars in our space.
And what they're all ultimately aiming for is something called the ClickBank Platinum Program. Platinum is our VIP program for affiliates and sellers who hit at least $250,000 in growth sales on platforms in the last 12 months or in a calendar year.
I know that sounds like a lot. But once you know how to promote products and generate consistent sales on the daily, it's totally doable. In fact, there are hundreds of Platinums on ClickBank right now, many of them having achieved Platinum status year after year after year.
And if you play your cards right, you can totally be one of them. And you'll want to be one of them. When you reach Platinum status, you are marked from a series of perks, including things like one-on-one account management, introductions, VIP support, priority access to exclusive
ClickBank product features, invitations to exclusive events, and networking opportunities with top affiliates and sellers, including the famous ClickBank Platinum Summit, and greater visibility inside the ClickBank ecosystem.
It is totally worth it to reach Platinum status. And I know a lot of people look at Platinum as a big goal, the ultimate goal. But in reality, it's kind of a start. You unlock so much opportunity as a ClickBank Platinum client
that it's kind of like you're just barely getting started again. It's a new level of momentum. With that said, we see Platinum-level affiliates and sellers doing a few things especially well. They treat their time on ClickBank like a true business,
not just a side hustle or potential lottery ticket. They build audiences and systems, email lists, content, ads that run consistently, and they leverage the latest technologies to help them achieve scale.
They understand their numbers using analytics and tracking parameters and split testing to actually find them and double down on what works. Now, if you're curious about Platinum, don't worry.
