Hey, what's up guys? With the release of
WoW Legion Remix, we now have a new fast
way to level our characters, level our
alts, ready for the next expansion. Not
only do we have a good way to level, we
have a very good reason to level. There
are tons of rewards. There are class
mounts for getting to max level, titles,
rewards for finishing your order
campaign. You can get your artifact
skins, and there's going to be lots of
housing rewards tied to this, too. And
the more characters we level, the more
we can get from this housing vendor. So,
this is going to be added when, you
know, whenever they're ready to release
the housing stuff, it'll be added, and
you can use your bronze in there. But
there are certain things that look to be
tied to achievements and rewards that
you can unlock by leveling classes. So
there will be rewards for getting
characters to max level, finishing your,
you know, your class hall campaign with
a class during remix and stuff like
that. Either way is a very good time to
level characters. So let's get into the
fastest and best way to level. I'm first
going to talk about some of the things
that you can unlock and some of the the
events specific to Legion Remix that
will make you level much faster. And
then once we've gone through that, I'll
go through, you know, when you're
leveling, what are the best things to
focus on and go through them in priority
so you know how to best spend your time.
Okay, first let's talk about the
stacking XP buff during the Legion remix
event. Now, this is the greatest thing
for leveling. However, if you're just
starting out, you're not going to feel
it as much as this grows more over time.
So, the way this works is as you do
certain things, so like complete a zone,
I think gives you 10% of this XP buff.
As you do other things, you get
incremental increases to this XP. Every
time you do an infinite research, you
get 1% extra XP. So, mine right now is
sitting on like 175%. The more you do,
the more you play, the more this will go
up. Okay, next up, an XP buff that makes
no sense, and that is a 250% XP buff
that you can unlock at level 70. I don't
know why we're getting a big chunk of XP
at level 70, but either way, when you
get to level 70, go to the infinite
timeline, you know, where you spend all
your bronze, and then go and speak to
this this person near the the portal,
and get your 250% XP. So, you will level
from 70 to 80 rapid. Okay. Now, just for
some quick tips and some things you
might not be aware of. One is when you
are going back and forward to get your
infinite research, you know, you go to
the dragon, you get some new tasks, and
you go back out. That's what a bulk of
your leveling will be. Make sure you're
using these tickets. There are these
teleportation tickets that will be in
your inventory. You get them for doing
pretty much anything. They stack up.
You'll have loads of these hopefully.
And you use one, it will take you back
to that zone. So, you can go and talk to
the dragon and in your tasks and get
some new ones. Then there will be a buff
on the left of the screen that is a
ticket icon. If you click that, it will
take you right back to where you were.
So this is the fastest way to, you know,
say you get a task and it says go and do
some quests, go and pick some herbs. You
go do them, you use that, you go hand it
in, straight back out. It saves any
travel time. It's really, really, really
good. Secondly is unlocking world
quests. So when you're leveling an alt,
you can just go to Khadgar in the main
city. You can go there really early on.
Just go to Khadgar, talk to him, and he
will give you an instant hand in quest,
which will unlock all world quests on
your map. You'll know it. It's the one
that gives you the whistle. So, if you
if you've done that, you'll already have
it. Most most of the time, you'll see
that you'll just go and grab it and not
even realize. That will unlock all world
quests for you. And why is that good?
One, the infinite research can then give
you quests that say go and do world
quests, which is really really good. And
two, world quests give a really good
chunk of XP. And they overlap with
quests in the zone. So, say you're just
picking a zone and you're like, you
know, I'm going to go level in in uh the
high mountain. There will be bonus
objectives and there'll be world quests
overlapping any of the quests you're
doing in that zone. So, it's a really
good to make sure you unlock that first.
It does seem to be a little bit on the
buggy side. I've had it where I've done
this quest and no world quest appear.
Couple of hours later, they all
appeared. It seems to be a little buggy
as with a lot of things in Remix. But,
get it unlocked and hopefully it works
for you. The last quick tip is a bonus
XP quest. So, when you are going and
getting your infinite research, there
will be a choice of things. You know, it
could be pick herbs, it could be do a
dungeon, things like that. There will be
one called general training. Now,
general training, there is a tag under
it that says bonus XP. This basically
just says go get stronger and come back.
This gives bonus XP. Always do this.
Always take this one. It gives much more
XP. So, it's it's better to do, you
know, the bonus XP will help you level
off faster. So, always take that one
when you see it. That's it for like the
quick tips. Now, let's talk about, you
know, what should you be doing? You made
a new character. What should you focus
on? Should you just cue dungeons? Should
you, you know, sit in your order hall?
What should you be working on? Let's go
through that. Okay, so the number one
way to level is the infinite research.
The infinite research is just an
absolutely busted amount of XP. This is
so so good, but only if you take the
right things. If you're taking things
that are going to slow you down a lot,
like go and do a heroic dungeon and then
you're sat there waiting for a queue,
you're going to slow yourself down. If
you're taking things that, you know, go
and do things in the heroic world tier,
but you don't feel strong enough and
that slows you down, don't do that. Go
do things that are easy. Go do pick 10
herbs. Go do fly around the world and
collect 15 moes in the air. You just you
just fly around and fly through the the
bronze circles, right? Easy. You can do
the the general training. Defeat 75 uh
demons is really easy on the normal
world tier cuz there are spawns of them.
You can do that in a couple of minutes.
So, that's what I would say. Focus on
the really easy ones and just knock
those out and just keep going back. Use
the tickets to go back and forward and
hand those in. Next up is the class
order hall. This is phenomenal for XP
for two reasons. one is it it interlaps
with things you might already be doing.
So it might send you to a dungeon. Say
say it tells you to go and do a certain
dungeon. You can then go and get a a a
infinite research that says go and do a
dungeon and you can then also get the XP
from the dungeon. So you're getting like
three sources of XP while doing a class
quest and then you hand them all in and
you like double dip. You get loads of
XP. Additionally, there are points along
your class order hall where they will
say to you, um, go and train 15 units.
You go and do that, and because we're in
Legion Remix, there's no training time.
It's all boosted. So, the second you
accept that quest, you can hand it in
and get XP. It will say, go and complete
this quest on the mission table. Back in
the day, you had to go to a mission
table, send your units out for like 6
hours, come back, and then you would get
the XP. Now, again, they taken all that
time out. So you accept the quest, you
hand it in, and you get that massive
chunk of XP instantly. So the class
order hall is very, very good. And then
you have a choice between like
everything else in the game. I would say
do what you think you can get done as
fast and efficiently as possible. If
you're queuing solo in a dungeon, solo
in a heroic dungeon, you're leaving it
up to chance. You could be in a bad
group, someone could leave, you could be
with people with low damage, you could
be with a tank who's doing very small
pulls, and that's going to slow you down
massively. If you're queuing with four
friends and you're all just like on the
ball, you're all trying to level fast.
You know how you know the dungeons,
that's a very good way to level. But
again, if if you're not and you're
leaving it up to chance, I find that to
be a lot slower than just plowing
through the quests in the zone. LFR, you
can unlock that while leveling it. You
don't have to do anything. It's just
unlocked. That that is very fast. I
found LFR very good, the raids, but the
dungeons I didn't think were very good
unless I had already tasks like infinite
research tasks or class order uh quests
telling me to go to the dungeon. Doing
them on their own didn't seem to be
worth it. And then instead, I would just
pick a zone. I'd pick a zone and I would
pick up every single quest, the main
quest, the side quests, and just get
like all of the quests for the area that
you can go out, try and overlap them
with world quests, try and overlap them
with the bonus quests. So, there are
these like stars on the map and they're
bonus objectives. So, you might get a
quest that says, you know, go and defeat
20 harpies and those there's also a
bonus quest there that says, you know,
defeat the harpies and there's a bar
that fills up. And then on top of that,
there might be a world quest that says,
you know, defeat the harpy boss. So, you
can go to a zone, just cluster
everything, and just hand everything in
together. It it I found that the fastest
easily the fastest way to level, but I
wasn't queuing dungeons with a with a
team. If you are, that will probably
pull ahead. But that's that's what I
would suggest. Yeah. Either way, the XP
is very fast. If you're playing an all
and you're feeling it's very slow, look
what your XP is at. If it's at like 80%.
That's why the more you do on your main,
the faster your alts will level. Once
you have two characters and you have
two, you can do like infinite research
each day on two characters, that's going
to go up even further. Add another
character into the mix, it's going to go
up even further. So, if you're if you're
worried about leveling speed, add even
after doing these things, it still feels
slow. try and get your, you know, your
your stacking XP buff as as high as you
