## Summary

This video presents a step-by-step guide to creating and selling ebooks on Amazon KDP using Claude AI and other tools. The creator, who claims to have made over $2.3 million with this business model, emphasizes a simple three-step process: finding a profitable topic, creating a simpler version of an existing book, and listing it on Amazon to leverage existing buyer traffic. The tutorial covers topic validation, book writing with Claude, cover design, and marketing strategies, aiming to help beginners make their first online sale.

### Key Points

- **Business Model Overview** [00:14] — The creator has made over $2.3 million using this exact business model, which predates AI tools. The process is simplified into three steps: find something people already buy, create a simpler version, and put it where buyers already are.
- **Why Ebooks** [01:22] — Ebooks are chosen because they are easy to create with AI, have high demand (book sales are increasing), and can be sold on Amazon, which has over 70% of US book sales. This leverages existing demand rather than creating new markets.
- **Tools Used** [02:21] — Claude is recommended for writing because it's better than Gemini or ChatGPT. However, it can't pull live data, so the creator combines it with co-author.ai, a Chrome plugin that provides Amazon sales data (BSR) and has a free plan.
- **Step 1: Validate Topic on Amazon** [03:16] — Generate book topic ideas (using Claude if needed), then search each on Amazon. Use co-author.ai to see Best Sellers Rank (BSR) and estimated sales. If multiple books on a topic are selling well, it's profitable. If not, move on.
- **Step 2: Create a Simpler Version** [07:31] — Instead of writing a 300-page book, create a shorter, focused version (10,000 words) that solves the reader's problem faster. The value is in solving the problem, not page count. Use Claude to generate an outline and then write section by section.
- **Using Claude for Writing** [09:45] — Prompt Claude to create a detailed outline with six steps from point A (problem) to point B (solution). Then generate each section individually to avoid repetitive, low-quality content. Edit and humanize the output in a Google Doc.
- **Competitive Analysis with Co-author** [14:02] — Co-author can analyze a competitor's book and provide ideas to differentiate, such as targeting a specific niche (e.g., ADHD decluttering) or offering a faster solution (e.g., 5-minute decluttering). This helps position your book uniquely.
- **Publishing and Formatting** [16:21] — Choose a pen name or real name. Format the book for free using a website (link in description) or use co-author's paid formatting feature. Design a book cover using Canva (free) or co-author's cover generator (paid).
- **Step 3: List on Amazon KDP** [19:16] — Amazon KDP is free to sign up and list books; Amazon takes a cut only on sales. This leverages Amazon's massive built-in traffic. The creator compares it to moving a food truck from a quiet street to in front of a stadium.
- **Getting Reviews** [21:26] — Reviews are crucial for sales. Use Book Bounty (paid, with 15-day free trial) to get reviews, or give free copies to social media followers in exchange for reviews. Avoid friends and family as it violates Amazon's terms.
- **Marketing and Scaling** [23:41] — Supplement organic traffic with short-form videos on TikTok, IG, or YouTube showcasing the book. Check sales in KDP reports. Scale by creating more books, improving quality, hiring help, and running ads.

### Conclusion

The video concludes by emphasizing that the goal is to make the first sale to build confidence, with the potential to scale to significant income. It highlights the simplicity of the business model and offers a mentorship program for those seeking more guidance.

## Transcript

video is going to walk you through the entire thing start to finish. I'm going to show you exactly how to use Claude to build a simple digital product and get it in front of real buyers within days. No website, no ads, and never have to
show your face. What I'm about to show you isn't flashy or complicated. I made over $2.3 million so far doing this exact business model myself. So, I know doing this for years before Claude or any other AI tools existed, which is
this business model isn't just another AI trend that's going to disappear this, but it made the whole process 10 times faster. So if you enjoy this type me know by tapping the like button and let's get right into the video. Now,
me promising you that you will make 10K per month within 30 days or something like that. The goal of this video is to help you make your first ever sale online. I'll show you how to make real money from a real product using free
traffic because the first sale you ever make online is by far the hardest. You don't know if you can do it, right? So, the first sale really breaks the belief start believing that you can do this, you can choose to take this further and
scale it to 5K a month, 10K a month, however much you want to build this up to. So, if that sounds good, let's get right into it. So, the whole business model comes down to three steps. Find something people already buy. create a
simpler version of that and put it where buyers already are. And that's the whole there's no system, just three simple steps. And the digital product we're know that ebooks aren't the flashiest thing on the internet, but ebooks are
Why is that? Well, it's very, very easy to create, especially with the help of is Claude or AI good at? Well, they're really good at researching and compiling content. Claude is especially good at writing compared to Gemini or Chache. So
selling content in a ebook format is one of the most straightforward way to The second reason is because ebook has very high demand even to this day. A lot books but that is not true. The data shows that book sales are increasing
industry. There is one website where millions of people show up every single day looking for new books to purchase. And that's the absolute gamecher of the demand. You're simply showing up in front of demand that already exists. So
Claude is the best generic AI tool right now for writing, right? It's better than why Claude is getting a lot of hype right now. So as amazing Claude is, you still can't pull live data for researching profitable book topics. As
Like if you have to create book covers and other design elements when it comes that reason, we're going to combine Claude and another AI tool called co-author.ai. Now, do not worry because co-author has a free plan that you can
you do have to pay a little bit, but basically every single step that you have to do in this business. So, in this to show you the paid way. So, if you want to pay a little bit of money, but
save time or the free way of doing things. So, if you're willing to spend a yourself, then you can save money. So, let's move on to step number one, which is just a simple yes or no question. Are people already buying books on this
topic on Amazon? Because step one is find something people already buy, right? We're not coming up with brand new ideas here. We're just simply seeing recreating a product similar to that. So, you want to first come up with a
bunch of different book topics. Then, you want to look it up on Amazon. And the reason why we look it up on Amazon is because Amazon is by far the biggest bookstore in the whole world. more than 70% of all book sales in the US comes
books and you're trying to make money from books, doesn't make sense not to terms of what's working. And so we look it up on Amazon and we look for books already selling. If you do find books
then it's a profitable topic. If you don't find any books selling on the that it's not that you have this brand new idea that nobody have thought of thought of that idea. Maybe there are some other books on the topic already,
but it's not making sales, which means not a lot of people are interested and terms of getting ideas, once again, you can do a huge brain dump of all the topics that's flowing into your mind right now. But you can also use Claude
and ask something like, "Give me 50 profitable ebook ideas I can write about." And for this, I'm not going to be using Claude Fable 5 or any super It's just a simple question. So, I'm going to be doing Opus 4.7 with a medium
effort here. Okay. So these are some ideas that we're getting from AI. So we have retirement gift trivia, which is good. Question for grandparents before it's too late. So it's like a prompted keepsake, probably a journal type of
conversation, anti-anxiety workbook for high achievers. 90day sobriety thing, divorce recovery workbook for men. A few more. We got a decluttering workbook. I like decluttering as a topic. So I'll probably choose this one as an example.
are just ideas. It's not validated because claw doesn't have live Amazon selling or not. So what we're going to do is go to Amazon and we're going to look up each of these topic one by one
and see if there are other books actually selling on this. So simply go to Amazon, change this to books and I simply typed the book topic decluttering and got to the search results here. Now this is what I'm talking about with
co-author which is a free Chrome plugin that you want to download. So it's 100% the description. Click on that. It'll take you to the Chrome web store over here. You want to download it and it should show up right here like this. So
once you download the Chrome plugin and refresh the page, you'll start seeing automatically pull what we call the best sellers rank of the book, which is a number that Amazon gives you on how well the book is selling compared to other
number, it'll calculate how many sales it's making and how much it's making in co-author.ai, AI. You can get this number manually by clicking on the book and scrolling all the way down to the product details here. Amazon does show
it, but obviously manually opening up each book is very, very tedious. So, co-author saves a lot of time on top of giving you a lot of additional information like the sales trends and all that. So, with this information now,
are actually making money. So, this book is an audio book and it's doing between $100 to $181 per day in royalties, which is very good. This one book is doing thousands of dollars a month. This shows zero here, which is a mistake. It's
around the same amount as this one because the BSR is the same. So, out right now. But this book, I can tell you that it's also making money. There's another book on decluttering making a couple thousand per month. And even this
one right here doing $13 to $21 per day, which is still like $400 to $600 per month with only 39 reviews. So, based on how multiple books on decluttering is selling well, this tells me that decluttering is a profitable topic. So,
every single book topic that you're interested in creating a book on. Because if you don't find any other book on the topic selling well, then there's sell. And this is a very important step, especially if you're a beginner. You can
you're passionate about. But you should still be checking on Amazon to see if whatever you're passionate about is profitable. If it's not profitable, then you have to decide, do I just want to follow my passion or do I want to make
business, then you should probably follow demand before your passion. But have something that is profitable but also you're passionate about. So make sure to check that on Amazon. So once you found a profitable topic, step
number two is to make a simpler version of it. So for this example, right, we found decluting books that are let's say 300 pages long. It's selling really in doing this, obviously writing a 300page book is not the easiest thing.
So instead, we're going to create a simpler version of a decluttering book that gets people to the solution that they're looking for a lot faster. This want to be a perfectionist here. It's your first book. Think of it like a
to be perfect. You're just trying to practice and get better at this business model and learn new skills. So, you're not writing a masterpiece. Your goal is to solve one problem that you identified very, very clearly. And for this, the
words. Now, typically, if you do this business longer, I recommend 30,000 words as a good spot to be in. 30,000 words in a book is about 120 to 200 pages, depending on the formatting, how many images you have. So, that's a
pretty solid book. 10,000 words could be between 40 to 60 pages. But what I want people to understand here is that when I say simpler version, I'm not saying a crappier version. I'm not telling you to spam garbage on Amazon and try to make
understand here is that when people buy non-fiction books, they're not paying money to get more pages. They're paying money to solve a specific problem, solution. So if you can give people that solution, like in my case, decluttering.
So the solution is information on how to declutter their house in as efficient way as possible. A lot of people would rather get that answer and the piece of information in a book that's 10,000 words long or less pages compared to a
book that's let's say 900 pages, right? They don't want to read through 900 pages just to get the answer. So to illustrate another example here, let's you want to fix it immediately. You're not going to sign up for a 6-hour
how to fix the sink, but also a bunch of other stuff and a bunch of other fluff right now. So, what you're going to do is perhaps pay more for someone that's you or show you how to do it in like 10 minutes. So, the takeaway here is that
the value is in solving the problem, not in how many pages it took to get there. your book good, but you don't have to be a perfectionist. You don't have to make it 500 pages. All right, so now we can go to Claude and start the process of
to do is to just ask it to start writing the book immediately, right? First, you super super important. So, this is the prompt that I use. I'm writing a book on creating a detailed book outline. The goal of the book is to take the reader
from point A which is struggling with the problem right now in my case unproductivity due to the clutter in their home to point B which is solving that problem. Right? So getting to their desired goal which is feeling stress
decluttering strategies. So you have to replace this to whatever your book topic is about. What are the six steps the reader should take from point A to point B? Please create a chapter for each step and add subsections for each chapter. So
want to imagine taking people from point A, struggling with the problem, to point the problem or they've solved the problem and they are happy. And these in is what I got from Claude. So the cluting book outline point A to B.
Step one, understand what clutter is subsections over here. Chapter two, shift the mindset before you touch a here. Chapter three, build your decluttering game plan. Chapter four,
declutter room by room. Chapter five, design systems that prevent the clutter what we got. So what you get from AI is always going to be just ideas or use it exactly. So from here, you want to read through every single one and
to whatever you want to include. But for this example right here, let's just say to creating the book title. So for the book title, this is the prompt that I used. Give me 10 book title ideas. Make sure the main title is clear and easy to
understand. And the subtitle further emphasize the benefits of reading the this is very important when it comes to non-fiction books. You want to use titles that are very clear and easy to understand. You don't want to use this
beginners do and that's what messes up their sales. Like this is a good example here like less stuff more life or own less live more. kind of sounds like a minimalism book, which I guess is like
title really saying very clearly that this is a decluttering book. Like this declutter your home, declutter your life. These are the ones that I like. Super direct. This I do not like at all. The calm home blueprint. Like it's not
right? It could be like a mental health stress relief book. And again, beginners make titles like this that completely messes up their sales. So these two are your life, the stress-free method to organize any room in 30 days or less,
beginner friendly system to organize your home, quiet your mind, and take clear, but let's go with this one, number two. So, now we can start writing the actual book or at least generating the first draft with Claude. So, I said,
let's go with this book title over here. Please write chapter one, section one. section at a time rather than the entire chapter all at once because the more word count you try to generate one shot with AI the more repetitive the more
surface level information and the lower quality it gets so the less you can might be a good idea to increase the model to a smarter model over here but might have to pay for the paid model but that is up to you so this is what we got
chapter one see the clutter clearly the hidden tax how clutter drains focus this book because your home doesn't feel right. Maybe the kitchen counter has become a landing pad for mail. You haven't opened. Maybe you've stopped
into your bedroom at the end of a long day and feel your shoulders tighten not disorganized by nature. You're paying a tax you didn't know you were paying and so on and so forth. Right? So that's section one. Then we're going to
ask the same thing. Please generate section two. And we get section two. Right? Then we ask for section three once we're done. Then we move on to and on. And while you're generating this, you want to save this into a
Google doc. So, open up Google Doc, paste it in there, and from there, you right? Don't just copy paste, copy paste. Done. This is just the first go and edit it. You know, humanize the content. Maybe you don't like some
to add your own stories or you want to add some examples here. Maybe some parts content is surface level and you don't think it's that valuable, so you change you go through this step for each section and that is how you can write
the book with claude. There is actually another way which is using co-author. So going back to the Amazon page any book on Amazon you can click on analyze book competitive advantage page where co-author scour through this book and it
looks at the listing. It looks at all the reviews this book has and also looks at other books on this topic and just do a deep dive on this book topic in general and gives you ideas on how you can stand out to compete against books
it gives you three ideas on how you can stand out and backs it up with some explanations as well. So the first one over here is ADHD decluttering and it baseline level of executive function and focus, neurody divergent readers
dopamine crashes. This book addresses this coverage gap by tailoring every strategy specifically to ADHD brain chemistry with high stimulation and low positioning angle why it fits the
ADHD organization and decluttering for ADHD. That is true because this book is you know it says zero royalties. But pretty confident if I go to the product version, yeah, now the numbers are working. So this book just from the
paperback, not counting the audio and everything is doing $45 to $76 per day, $1.4 to $2.3,000 per month. And with the other formats is probably making3 $4,000 per month just from this one book. So the ADHD angle definitely is working and
that's one idea here. Another idea is the fiveminute decluttering. So the continuous lifelong psychological battle. This book strips away the heavy emotional processing and replace it with rapid 5minute micro sessions in a zero
as well. It kind of goes well with our simplifying creating a simpler book start creating this book and it takes you to the guided book creation process autofilled and you can go and move forward and uh basically finish writing
the entire book. Just a heads up though, this feature is not part of the free which is part of the subscription. So, create a whole book with co-author, you do have to pay for it. But these things
that you see on Amazon side, at least getting the data is 100% free. In terms cloud in the back end as well for writing. It's just that it already has know, baked in in the back end. So, you don't have to do the prompting like we
to come up with either a pen name to publish this book under or use your real name. It really doesn't matter which one. Both are allowed. Like using a pen Rowling from the Harry Potter series is a pen name, right? So, using a pen name
is a very normal practice in publishing. So, just pick one and go for it. Do not overthink branding at this point. This is just a practice book, right? So, it's want to format the book so that the layout looks visually nice and easy to
video that I filmed on how to format your book for free using a website description below. So, make sure to watch this, go do that. It's very, very simple and straightforward. If you do have co-author subscription, they have a
upload the book and the AI just formats the entire thing for you as well. So, co-author. This video is not meant to be a 100% co-author pitch video. I'm just paid way, which is going to save you time, but you have to pay a little bit,
more time, but you're saving money. It's up to you on which path you want to take. So, the next step is to design a book cover, which is a very, very important step. However, Claude is not the best at coming up with designs. It's
an example, I asked it to create a book cover, and this is what I got. And as you can see, it's way too simple, way too basic. It doesn't look that good. So there are two ways to create a book cover. The free way is to use Canva.
can use the free templates to create a simple, clean, readable book cover. It's bestseller quality. But again, this is our very first book. Our goal is not to Our goal is just to make our first couple sales online. So we're not trying
this step-by-step tutorial video that I filmed once again in the description but you do have to do a little bit of work there actually designing the book co-author to generate the book cover, this is the paid option because you do
need the paid subscription. But you can just go to the cover generator and enter book type. So in this case, it's going to be like a traditional non-fiction I'll let AI decide the art style, although you can give some suggestions
here. Visual mood, I'll let AI decide. Same thing. Paperback ebook, I'll do ebooks, it doesn't really matter too much. I'll keep the subtitle standard, author name, no characters, and let's generate book content. And these are the
three options that we got. So, it looks pretty nice. I like this one the most. Big clear title, nice minimalistic design. Obviously, it's not perfect, but you can definitely improve it from here by asking it to revise a cover,
video because it's going to be too long. So, in this case, we can just accept the cool in a way that you can generate high quickly. like this is a dad joke book that I've done, word search, fiction,
this is a kids fact book and so much more, right? And these as you can see it ways to create a book cover. Now we move on to step three which is to put the book where the buyers already are. So this is once again a very very important
customers to come to you, you simply put are already buying. Here's a real example of people doing the opposite. Right? Most people when trying to sell digital products, they first build a
website, then they run ads, post on social media trying to get people to their website, and they spend so much time and money paying for ads, building will buy. And that's, in my opinion, not the best way of doing so. Instead of
simply put your book in front of millions of people looking for a book to buy every single day. And that is by listing your book on Amazon. Because most people, once again, buy books on Amazon. More than 70% of all sales are
happening on Amazon, right? And Amazon has this crazy huge built-in traffic. Amazon is literally bigger than any website in the whole world. And by build your own website because you're just leveraging Amazon's site. You don't
fulfillment, even customer service. Amazon does all of that for you. have your own website when you're trying to do everything outside. But because Amazon handles all of that, that's why, in my opinion, this is the most
with digital products. It's like owning a food truck. Let's say you're selling hot dogs and you're in this quiet residential street and the only way to get people to come to your street is by putting billboard signs paying for ads,
posting on social media to try to get people to your street. Or if you simply just move in front of a football stadium where you get like 40,000 hungry people watching the game, you're selling the same product, but you're probably seeing
kind of what I'm talking about here. So, this is called Amazon KDP. It's completely free to sign up. It's 100% free to list products and Amazon only takes a cut if you make a sale. So that's why your goal is the same as
to sell your book so that Amazon can make money as well. And in exchange, it's a pretty good deal. So how do you sign up to Amazon KDP and how do you a step-by-step tutorial here that I filmed. So I'll leave a link in the
It's very, very simple. Probably going to take you like 10 minutes. So once you probably like one to three days for Amazon to review and approve your book. tell you what to fix. You fix it, you resubmit it, it'll be good. If no
within a couple days, and you can start bragging that you are a published author, which is very cool. But now that the book is live, it's sitting on Amazon, but it has zero reviews, right? And because Amazon is so huge if you've
done proper topic research and you did a good job designing a highquality book that it's going to make a couple sales here and there. Of course, I cannot claims on YouTube. But from my experience, you still got a good chance
of selling few copies. However, if you want to increase the chance couple reviews on your books because having reviews simply looks way better for the customer, right? So these two books identical but obviously this looks
here. So I'm not saying you need to get 18 reviews but at least couple reviews best most costefficient and beginnerfriendly way to start getting reviews? That is by using a website called Book Bounty. So Book Bounty is
reviews safe and fast. And the way it works is you simply upload the book. You can then leave a review on some other books on the platform and by doing so those points to request a review for your own books. The only thing here is
that it's not free. So, you do need at least a $25 per month subscription. However, the good news is they do have a 15-day free trial, so you can sign up you can use that to get some initial
Book Bounty as well. So, I highly recommend you watch this video to learn Bounty. So, once again, the link is in the description. So, I recommend for get at least couple reviews. Let's say like five reviews per book minimum. So,
reviews. It's just that few positive ones are much better than having zero. free way of doing this, you can pass out a free digital copy of your book to different social media platforms. And then once you give them the files, you
later and ask for a review. It's very tedious cuz you're doing this micro but it's 100% free. Now, the only thing I would say is do not get reviews from friends and family because that is against Amazon's terms and conditions.
Facebook groups is good because there is a Facebook group for basically any groups for your book topic. And these Amazon Skylines. So, as I said earlier, with good topic selection and a good
book cover, Amazon organic traffic alone can get you a few sales. And I say can, or anything. I just want to clarify that guarantees. But from here, you can supplement the marketing if you want to
running Amazon ads, which is a paid thing, or social media marketing, which is completely free. So, the best way to do social media marketing is simply to post on Tik Tok, IG, YouTube, and show your book. These are all short form
this. So, it's a lot easier to create. And I do have a step-by-step tutorial on how to sell more books on Amazon KDP using free marketing strategies. As Here are some quick examples of videos that you can make. Simply showcasing
your book cover. If you have a physical version of the book, very simple video, camera works. So many examples like you can check out other brands and see how that you want to make. You don't always have to show your face. It's actually
showing the book and focusing on that. So once you start marketing the book and you want to check if you're making sales, you simply go to KDP. You go to reports over here. And if you are making sales, then it's going to show up here
in the dashboard. And that was my second KDP account. I actually had another one that I sold for $820,000 a while back, which is another cool sell your portfolio books for a pretty life-changing amount. And if you don't
much you can actually make from this business model, then I actually got a reports where it's a compilation of all the income reports that I've done documenting my own publishing journey and sharing income reports along the
on my channel. But basically, I was making like multiple six figures a year. I sold the first one for $820,000 and I'm building the second one right now. I to Hero where we actually work with students oneonone and help them build
student over here who published her first book and literally within one day she made close to $40 from her very, very first book. Now, quick disclaimer, this is not typical results. You're probably not going to make $40 your
to show you that it's possible. We got another student over here doing this while working a full-time job. And with 10 books, he made $161,000 his first year. Once again, not typical results. Just want to show you that it's
not to get crazy results like this, although it's possible. The goal was online to gain the confidence that you can do this, too. And once you do sales and you're like, "Oh my god, this actually works. I actually made money
online doing this, right? Once you get to the point and you're like, I want to higher levels." Well, this is exactly how you can do that. So scaling is went through more and better, right? So
you can do 20,000 words, 30,000 words, experimenting in different topics. So creating better books, creating more books. So hitting both the quantity and the quality. Eventually, you can hire team members to create books for you, so
you're not doing everything yourself and you're just a CEO overseeing your team and just telling them what to do, right? You can start running ads to scale. And formats like paperback, audiobook, hard coverver. So many ways to build multiple
go over that because that wasn't the focus of this video. If you're curious a bunch of other videos on my channel that you can go and take a look. So, I started with selling digital ebooks online. This tutorial is not meant to
started with making money online. But if you want to scale this, this exact business model has the potential to do that as you saw earlier. And I genuinely beginner-friendly way for people to start making money online because by
deal with inventory. You don't have to deal with shipping and handling, customer service. You don't need a bunch of complicated softwares. You tap into it's also very fun, you know, coming up with new book topics, actually creating
it, and seeing your idea come to life. So, it's a very creative and a fun speed up your process of building a successful Amazon KDP business, then we do have a complete Amazon KDP mentorship program. This is obviously a paid
mentorship. It requires commitment, capital, and execution, and we don't working one-on-one with a coach who actually makes money from KDP finish, review, and approve your book before you actually publish it. You get
access to multiple live workshops every single week and we plug you into a super publishers. So, if you're interested and you want to see if you qualify to work with us, you can apply using the link in the description and the pin comment
enjoyed this video. This was a very long video to film, I'm sure the final video after editing will also be very long. So, if you made it until the end, I it until the end by commenting I made it to the end. And I'll try to respond to
so much for watching. Make sure to leave a like, subscribe, and I'll see you in a like, subscribe, and I'll see you in the next one.
