[0:00] Are you a streamer that's tired of your [0:01] boring, disgusting stream design, but [0:03] you don't want to spend any gosh darn [0:05] money? Lucky for you, in this video, [0:06] I'll show you this new overlay website [0:08] that I found that you can use to upgrade [0:10] your stream for free. So, let's check it [0:12] out. The website is called overlays.uno [0:14] and I'll leave it linked in the [0:15] description down below so you can follow [0:16] along at home. And luckily, they were [0:18] nice enough to sponsor this video so I [0:20] can show you guys how to use it. So, [0:21] let's do our little trick. Ready? 1 2 [0:23] There. That's better. But literally, [0:24] it's super easy. Once you're on the [0:25] website following that link, just scroll [0:27] down and see they got a bunch of [0:28] different categories. They got one for [0:30] sports which includes a bunch of [0:31] different leaderboards and scoring. They [0:32] have a bunch of different gaming ones [0:34] for esports overlays, podcasts with [0:36] social pop-ups, money effects, pretty [0:38] much a bunch of unique things that you [0:39] don't really see on other overlay [0:41] platforms. And yes, you can use all [0:42] these for free. I've already went ahead [0:44] and scrolled through and picked out a [0:46] bunch of my favorites that I think are [0:47] going to benefit you guys as streamers [0:49] the most, and I'll show you how to set [0:50] them up. So, once you've made your [0:52] account, all you have to do is go to [0:53] library here, and you'll be able to see [0:54] all of the different overlays that you [0:56] can use. Then when you find something [0:58] you like, all you have to do is click on [0:59] it. Then you're going to click add to my [1:00] overlays. So click that button and it's [1:02] going to be added to your overlays [1:03] collection, which you can then find in [1:05] the lefth hand side here. So simply [1:06] click that. And you can see I have my [1:08] collection of overlays here. And a [1:10] really cool thing is that if you don't [1:12] see a certain overlay already in their [1:14] library, the devs are actually really [1:15] nice to where you can ask them to add [1:17] one. All you have to do is just join [1:19] their Discord server and then post the [1:21] idea or request that you have because [1:22] they're always looking to add more [1:24] overlays for their users. They have a [1:26] really nice selection of countdown [1:27] timers and starting soon screen. So, I'm [1:29] going to start with this one right here. [1:31] It's a full screen countdown glide. You [1:33] can get the same one if you want. We're [1:34] going to hit the three dots here and [1:36] then we're going to hit open. Now, you [1:37] can obviously trigger the overlay on and [1:39] off with this button here. And this is [1:40] where we're going to set your countdown [1:41] timer. So, if you want to have, let's [1:43] say, a 4m minute or 3 minute countdown [1:45] timer, you can adjust everything here [1:47] and then when you're ready to hit it, [1:48] you'll hit play and it'll start the [1:49] countdown. And then you can also set [1:51] your countdown end message for when it [1:52] actually reaches zero. So, you can [1:54] adjust those settings there. But you can [1:55] move to the customize tab where you can [1:57] change the color. You can change the [1:59] going live in. So the title. So if we [2:01] want to call this stream starting in [2:03] blank and we can change that text up [2:04] there. We just got to click off of it [2:06] and it will update it there. You can [2:07] also change the timer format. You can [2:09] add an image. You can change the layout. [2:10] So for example, if we want to change [2:12] this color from purple to let's say like [2:14] a pink. I feel like that's kind of cool. [2:15] Then we can go to the settings and you [2:16] can adjust more settings here like oh my [2:19] god. Nope. Dark theme. You can't just [2:20] don't touch that. Okay. We have more [2:22] settings here if you'd like. So now we [2:23] can go back to control. So, if we look [2:24] in the top right corner, this little TV, [2:26] this is what we're going to copy into [2:28] OBS Studio, Streamlabs, Meld, whatever [2:30] you want to use a browser source to [2:31] display to your viewers. And then next [2:32] to that, we have this controller. And [2:34] that's going to be how we're going to [2:36] control all of this. So, if you don't [2:38] want to have this website open every [2:39] time, we can actually use this [2:40] controller and put it in OBS Studio as a [2:42] doc. So, we can control it directly from [2:44] OBS or we can scan the QR code in the [2:46] top right corner next to it with our [2:48] phone. So, literally, you'll have all [2:49] the settings on your phone. And then the [2:51] little key next to that is going to be [2:52] the token that you need for the Stream [2:54] Deck plug-in. All you got to do is [2:55] download and install it and then paste [2:57] the actions in. So, you have plenty of [2:58] different options, but we're going to [2:59] start easy with this little TV button. [3:01] Click that. We're going to open up OBS [3:02] Studio or whatever you're using. We're [3:04] going to add a new source. This one's a [3:06] starting soon scene. So, we're going to [3:07] go into that source and add a new [3:09] browser source. I'm going to call it [3:11] glide countdown. And I'm going to hit [3:13] okay. And then I'm going to paste in [3:14] that URL we just copied. Hit okay. And [3:17] then now you'll be able to see we have [3:18] our beautiful stream starting in [3:20] countdown timer. And if you want to make [3:21] it bigger, you can adjust the size. I [3:23] honestly just like to rightclick and [3:24] then go to transform and then go to fit [3:26] to screen. And now we have it fit to the [3:28] screen. As you can see there, it ended [3:29] and we have that little countdown [3:30] message if you want to have a message. [3:32] If not, you just erase it. And you would [3:33] do so by literally just turning it off. [3:35] So now let's reset and play it again so [3:37] I can show you guys how to import that [3:38] doc. So, if you want to have these [3:40] controls in OBS Studio or on your phone, [3:42] all you have to do is hover over this [3:44] little game controller, click on it for [3:46] OBS, and scan the QR code for your [3:48] phone. Then, once you're in OBS Studio, [3:50] you're going to go to docs and custom [3:52] browser docs. We're going to go to a new [3:53] one. We'll call this glide control, and [3:55] then we're going to paste in the new [3:56] URL. Hit apply and close. Then, we're [3:59] going to have this dragged to whatever [4:01] part of the screen you're going to want [4:02] it on. I'm going to have it, let's say, [4:03] on the left side. And now we have all of [4:05] the different settings that we had on [4:06] the website directly in OBS. So, we can [4:09] adjust the timer if we need to get more [4:10] time, we want to pause it, reset, if we [4:12] want to have literally any customization [4:14] options. All of it's done within your [4:15] phone on the website or as a dock. So, [4:17] you have so many different choices to [4:19] pick from. Another overlay that I found [4:20] that'll be useful for streamers is this [4:22] nice snow effect since the holidays are [4:24] right around the corner. They also have [4:25] a bunch of other effects, but the snow [4:26] one I feel like could be cool. All you [4:27] got to do is hover over it, click the [4:29] three dots right here, and hit open. [4:31] You'll be brought to the same page. [4:32] Though, honestly, you don't really need [4:34] this as a dock or on your phone since [4:36] you're really not changing too much [4:37] stuff. You can have the speed set to [4:39] fast slow amount heavy light [4:41] medium. You don't really have to change [4:42] too much. So once you're done doing [4:43] that, just click the little TV and [4:45] you'll get that output URL, aka that [4:47] browser source. Then you can go to your [4:49] just chatting scene and we're going to [4:50] click a new source. Browser source. I'm [4:52] going to call this one snow. Hit okay. [4:54] We're going to paste this in except I'm [4:56] going to change the width to 1920x 1080 [4:58] so it'll fit the whole screen. Hit okay. [5:00] We're going to make sure it's above the [5:01] webcam, which it is. And now we got this [5:03] beautiful snow effect for the holidays. [5:05] Fun for the whole family. literally took [5:07] like 30 seconds tops. So, let's check [5:08] out a couple more. As a streamer, [5:10] promoting your other socials is really [5:12] important because you want to grow on [5:13] more discoverable platforms. So, the [5:15] social loop lower third socialable is [5:17] pretty good. So, I'm going to click on [5:18] those dots, hit open. Then, you can see [5:20] under the properties, they have so many [5:23] different things. So, if you want to [5:24] display your Discord, you can, or your [5:26] email or anything like that. We'll just [5:28] keep it really simple. For Instagram, [5:30] I'm just going to put my Instagram [5:31] username. And then my message could be [5:33] like follow me on IG. And then we'll do [5:35] the same thing for Tik Tok. And then [5:36] we'll do the same thing for YouTube. And [5:38] then I'm going to erase all the other [5:39] stuff. You can already see the changes [5:41] that have been made on here. So if you [5:42] want, you can go to customize and change [5:44] the autoplay. You can change the display [5:46] duration. For autoplay, I would [5:48] recommend maybe having it like every 5 [5:50] or 10 minutes. But I'm going to leave it [5:51] on forever. So that way it's constantly [5:53] going on the screen just for display [5:54] purposes for this video. But if I were [5:56] you, I'd probably do like 5 or 10 [5:57] minutes. And then display duration, [5:59] maybe 5 seconds each. And then other [6:00] than that, we're good to go. So click [6:02] that little TV button and let's go to [6:03] OBS. We'll do it on the just chatting [6:05] screen. So, we'll hit plus browser. [6:07] We'll call it socials. Hit okay. Paste [6:09] in that new URL. Hit okay again. And now [6:11] we're going to drag this over to the [6:13] bottom left corner. You'd see it right [6:14] about there. I'm going to maybe make it [6:16] a little bit larger. So, maybe about [6:18] there would be good. Now, we got a nice [6:20] holiday themed just chatting scene with [6:22] social shoutouts on our stream for free. [6:24] Another one that I thought was really [6:25] neat is this talking points panel [6:27] access. So, we'll do the same thing. [6:28] We'll open that. I'm not sure if you [6:29] guys are familiar with co-working [6:31] streams. I just found out about them, [6:32] but this could be a really useful [6:34] feature for that cuz basically you have [6:36] like a to-do list or a task list, which [6:37] you could also use for other streams. [6:39] So, all you got to do is pick your [6:40] colors here, well as where you want on [6:42] the screen. I'll choose left talking [6:43] points. We'll change local news to to-do [6:46] list. And then for the topics, we'll [6:47] just have everything on our to-do list. [6:49] And this is really great way for people [6:51] who weren't able to show up at the [6:52] beginning of stream, but joined halfway [6:54] to see what you guys are doing and [6:56] what's been done. So, if you're a [6:57] co-working stream, you could literally [6:58] put your to-do list here. Or if you're [6:59] playing Fortnite, you could do get 10 [7:01] kills, get two wins, get to level 50. [7:04] And then we'll just get rid of the other [7:05] two. And then we'll change the topic [7:07] count from five to three cuz we only [7:08] have three. Then from here, we'll just [7:10] click the little TV. We'll just say this [7:11] is our gaming scene. We're going to add [7:13] another browser source. We'll call it [7:14] list. Hit okay. Paste a new URL. Hit [7:17] okay again. Going to make that larger. [7:18] And now we got our to-do list right [7:20] there. But really, there's over 551 [7:22] results as of making this video. So [7:25] there's so many different things for you [7:26] to get your hands on completely free. [7:28] And like I said, if they don't have it, [7:30] then just join their Discord and put in [7:31] a request. Now, while the overlays are [7:33] free, they have to pay their developer [7:34] somehow, which is where they have their [7:36] optional upgrade where for $3 a month, [7:38] literally the price of a chicken [7:40] sandwich or less, you can upgrade to get [7:41] benefits such as more image storage, ad [7:44] free experience, and be able to edit [7:45] certain presets. But once again, this is [7:47] completely optional. The overlays are [7:49] indeed free. So, if you want to check [7:50] out overlays.uno, the link is at the top [7:52] of the description below. And if you [7:53] want to keep making your stream look [7:55] extra professional, then you should [7:56] watch this video to the side of me. I'm [7:57] going to show you exactly how to do that [7:59] in that video.
