The challenge is to build the very best vehicle you can to compete for the championship showdown. Let's go through how it works. In a pod racing tour, you're choosing [00:43] the character you want to play as, each of whom has their own pod racer. Choose the one that speaks to your style. Players can select from any one of our 12 characters, each of whom comes with their own distinct traits and abilities. The choice is yours, and you can unlock more currencies by [01:23] So, you've got your vehicle and your pilot. Now, we're ready to go. At the start of events, players bet on their predicted finish position. They can mark rival races and take on backer contracts. Success in each of these [01:37] position, earns credits [music] and part awards. Correctly predicting your finish position can earn significant rewards. A base bet earns a rare award if you place in the top nine. A more risky bet if you're finishing in the top six will get [01:51] you an epic reward, but going all in and getting a top three finish bags you a legendary drop. You can also mark a rival racer a call out to challenge them to a race within a race. Rivals know when you've marked them out, so expect [02:04] something in return. Lastly, choose an additional challenge for your race by selecting an available backer contract. Successfully completing a contract earns you additional credits to tune your craft. Now it's up to you to show your [02:16] skills on the racetrack. When the race is over, it's time to collect your You'll earn credits for your finished position as well as for any completed contracts. Spend credits on upgrades, parts, and abilities to enhance your [02:30] build. You'll also get to choose a plus three upgrade to one of your vehicle's six core [music] performance stats. Remember to upgrade those areas that you think will give you an edge in the next event. You may also get parts awarded to [02:42] you, the quality of which [music] depends on your finished position. Use parts to enhance your build to suit your race style and to synergize with your warm to the offered selection, convert [02:54] shop. Before the last showdown event, all [03:10] players now bet on the racer that they think will win the championship. Success here earns you a big drop of XP for your multiplayer progression.
