[0:00] What's up everybody? Damon here and for [0:01] today's daily fix, we have seven burning [0:03] questions about the GTA 6 pre-orders and [0:06] a free new suit for Spider-Man 2. This [0:08] is your daily fix. [0:20] Presented by Universal Orlando Resort in [0:21] its newest theme park, Universal Epic [0:23] Universe. [0:26] GTA 6 is coming. Rockstar has confirmed [0:29] that pre-orders go live on June 25th, [0:31] which means we're just a week away from [0:32] finally getting some meaningful answers [0:33] on what to expect when the most [0:35] anticipated video game of all time [0:37] arrives this November. Once pre-orders [0:39] open, we can expect to get answers for [0:41] some of the biggest questions from not [0:42] just fans, but the entire video game [0:44] industry. With GTA 6, Rockstar has [0:46] perhaps the biggest entertainment launch [0:48] ever on its hands. This is a huge moment [0:50] for the industry. What Rockstar and [0:51] parent company Take 2 do in November [0:53] could be a reset moment for video games [0:54] and setting up rival publishers to [0:56] follow suit. Here are seven burning [0:58] questions for the pre-order reveal. [0:59] First, what is the price? This has to be [1:02] the biggest unanswered question. Will [1:03] Rockstar stick with $70 or will it go [1:05] higher? Some analysts have suggested a [1:07] $100 price point isn't out of the [1:09] question. Either way, what Rockstar does [1:10] here will set a new standard for the [1:12] industry. It's hard to see any publisher [1:13] getting away with charging $80 for a [1:15] video game if GTA 6 costs 70. Similarly, [1:18] if GTA 6 goes to 80, 90, or even higher, [1:21] you can bet other publishers will follow [1:23] Rockstar's lead. Second, what are the [1:25] different editions available? In [1:26] addition to a standard edition for GTA [1:29] 6, will Rockstar release a fancy [1:31] physical collector's edition? And if [1:32] there are various editions, how much [1:34] will they cost? And what extras will [1:35] they include? Third, GTA 6 is coming out [1:38] on PS5, PS5 Pro, Xbox Series X, and [1:41] Series S only. So, what frame rate and [1:43] resolution can we expect for each [1:45] version? The game will run best on PS5 [1:47] Pro, you'd imagine, but at what frame [1:49] rate? Is GTA 6 30 FPS across all [1:51] platforms? How will it hold up on the [1:53] weakest console performance-wise, the [1:54] Xbox Series S? Hopefully, we get some [1:56] answers next week. Four, when will the [1:58] third trailer be released? With [2:00] pre-orders going live, you'd like to [2:01] think a new GTA 6 trailer might be [2:03] released. Perhaps Rockstar doesn't need [2:05] to release a new trailer, considering [2:06] the hype for the game, but fingers [2:08] crossed for more than just a new [2:09] animated image. Five, what will GTA 6 [2:12] include? Will it include any bonus modes [2:14] beyond the story? And what about [2:15] multiplayer? Will GTA 6 launch with a [2:17] new version of GTA Online, or will that [2:19] come later? Can we transfer our progress [2:21] from the current online experience to [2:22] the new one? Will there be a season [2:24] pass, a battle pass? With pre-orders [2:26] going live? Surely, answers are coming. [2:28] Number six, will GTA 6 receive story [2:30] mode DLC? Fans desperately wanted story [2:33] DLC for GTA 5, but it didn't happen. [2:35] This is a huge question fans have that [2:36] will hopefully be answered if future DLC [2:38] is included in a special edition. And [2:40] finally, what about that PC version? We [2:43] all know GTA 6 will eventually launch on [2:45] PC, so the question is more a case of [2:47] when, not if. We have exactly one week [2:49] to go before GTA 6 pre-orders go live [2:51] and we finally get some answers. Moving [2:53] on, Spider-Man 2 is adding content for [2:55] the first time in years and it's [2:56] completely free. Insomniac Games [2:58] confirmed that players will get free [3:00] access to the new suit from Spider-Man [3:01] Brand New Day starting July 28th. The [3:04] suit seems to be a revised version of [3:05] the one from No Way Home, which was an [3:07] amalgamation of the suits worn by Tommy [3:09] Magcguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom [3:11] Holland. Spider-Man 2 was released back [3:12] in 2023. Insomniac has already confirmed [3:14] that Spidey will not appear in Wolverine [3:16] later this year, but it's expected that [3:18] the studio may already be working on [3:19] another Spider-Man game as we speak. [3:21] It's unclear if Insomniac Games has any [3:23] more plans to update Spider-Man 2. The [3:25] game famously had no DLC unlike its [3:27] predecessor. There's a chance that the [3:28] release of Beyond the Spider-Verse next [3:30] summer could add more suits to the game, [3:32] but we'll just have to wait and see.
