[00:03] annually, and in this video, I'll show you step-by-step how you can achieve the same thing. Not only that, but I'll also explain why I decided to completely transform the company. The [00:15] information I'll share in this video is unlike anything anyone else will ever tell you about their own company. I'll tell you everything about starting a company, and I'll even give you the real figures for both our income and expenses. So, to avoid wasting time, pause the video now, scroll down, like, and [00:29] subscribe to the channel. We want to reach one million subscribers this year! Let's begin by invoking blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). First, what is the company I'm talking about? Simply put, it's FreelancerX. Here's a very brief overview in case you haven't heard [00:42] of us: FreelancerX is, thankfully, the largest educational platform for freelancers in the world, built on... The idea behind our community is that we teach people how to make money in the freelance field. We don't just teach it through a course; it's a platform built on many things. [00:56] We offer courses that teach freelancing in many different ways on various websites, both international and Arabic. If you don't have a skill to offer, we have a wide range of skills courses. Then there's the community concept, which is everyone who has joined the platform—whether they want to make [01:09] money, have already made money, or are highly experienced in the field—all in one place. They all help, encourage, ask, and answer each other's questions. Scientifically, this is one of the best ways to help people learn in general. We also have many other things like exclusive content, live [01:22] streams, and consultations—many things that help people actually succeed and make money. Thankfully, more than 50,000 students have visited the platform, and more than 50% of them have made money. So, thank God, our success rate is very good. Now, let's go back a few [01:36] steps and I'll tell you exactly how this company was started so you can do the same thing with your idea. This brings us to your first step, which is the idea itself. How did I come up with the idea for this company, and how will you come up with yours? Honestly, it [01:52] wanted to make a lot of it. The field that God Almighty placed before me was freelancing, and I spent many years, almost 13 years, working in this field to build a respectable source of income and earn a decent amount of money. So, I had 13 years of experience in [02:06] this field. At the same time, many of my friends and friends of friends would sit with me so I could teach them the exact same field. I realized that I might have spent a very long time trying to make money in The field is open, but thankfully the people I've taught have made [02:18] money very quickly. The reason is that they learned from me the experiences that held me back and prevented me, but they took them ready-made. This is what crystallized this whole idea in my mind. know wants to make money online, which shows that we're living in a time where everyone [02:31] wants to make money online. When I was on the freelance path, I was looking for something to help me reach my goals faster without wasting a lot of time or money. That's where the idea came from: why not teach freelancers? The idea is very simple and based on my own [02:43] experience. Now, let's talk about you. When you come up with a company idea, it doesn't have to be about just anything in the world. On the contrary, your first company, your very first idea, has to be something that speaks to you, addresses a problem you're facing and have managed to solve. Or [02:58] something specific you feel and you have the solution for it. Most likely, if you start with an idea that comes from within you, from your experiences, that idea will succeed even if it's not new or innovative. It's perfectly normal as long as you have the experience to find the solution to the problem you're solving. So, what's required of you is that [03:12] solution to the problem you're solving. So, what's required of you is that and paper and start writing down all the problems you faced in the past 10 years. Look at these problems and see which ones you solved with confidence. [03:25] If you applied the same solution to one, two, or three people, they would reach the same result you did. And by the way, this is why so many people create content about gyms, coaching, muscles, and all that stuff. Most of these people had average physiques, and they [03:38] worked on themselves to achieve that great body. This is clear and evident experience for them. So, they're focusing on this type of content, not just imitating it. This is genuine expertise they possess, and that's why most of them are successful, have followers, sell well, and everything is going smoothly. You [03:51] need to do exactly the same thing. Now, let's move on to the second step, which is very important: market research. There's a difference between coming up with an idea and knowing it suits you—that's fine—but then assessing whether the idea works in the market and how. Let me give you an [04:05] people how to freelance. I could have just created a YouTube channel teaching freelancing. These are all effective ways to teach people, no problem. So why did I create a platform with the idea of a community and all that? The [04:19] market research step means we start looking at the market around us and seeing what people are doing. First, I want I need to make sure that there are actually people who need this. As much as I felt, and as much as the people around me felt, that was [04:32] see if people are asking questions. I need to create a survey and distribute it in Facebook groups or send it to a lot of people. We need to try to find out if people are really interested in making money and if they're interested in the freelancing field. The second thing is that I need to start looking at [04:46] people who are learning freelancing in the market in general, whether they're Arabs or foreigners. I personally did all of this: I asked a lot of people, posted a lot of stories, and did a huge survey of people I didn't know and didn't know. And of course, I don't need to tell you that everyone [04:59] thought everyone knew about freelancing because it was obvious. But I discovered that the opposite was true; those who knew about freelancing were only 30 For 40% of people, and that was very promising for me for the business. The second thing is that there weren't many freelance courses [05:12] available in the Arab world at the time I actually started. I saw two or three, and they weren't the best. They weren't updated, and they didn't talk about freelancing as a whole. They might talk about a specific part of it. So this also gave me a great opportunity because I felt that there was a great opportunity in the Arab world in [05:25] Arabic. Of course, when you look at foreigners, there are freelance courses available, but they're not many at that time. The one who dominated the market was Andrew Tate, and he hadn't yet made a freelance course. He had a course with a different name. The [05:41] but it was a little different. So this also gave me a good push because even if I were to bring content similar to this content, it's still freelancing, but I'm using the correct term, which is freelancing. And of course I'm speaking in Arabic, and of course, I was cheaper than him, so that would always have been much better for me in the [05:54] third and final thing in market research was very important during the period when we opened the company. The idea of creating a community platform was very strong, and Andrew Tate was the one who started it strongly, and it spread a lot after him. In the Arab world at that time, there were absolutely no [06:08] companies doing this. I might mention one or two, because if someone says, "No, we started before you," I don't know, but there was nothing famous at all. And from here came the idea that we would not only teach freelancers, but we would be the first community platform. A [06:20] community platform, as I told you at the beginning, means a whole community that helps each other to succeed. Because it's very easy for me to give you knowledge and tell you how to learn, but it's very difficult for you to be persistent and continue with that knowledge in a few days. You'll wake up feeling lazy and unwilling to work, needing [06:34] someone to give you a push or encouragement to get going. That someone is the community, and scientifically, it's proven to be one of the best ways to increase success rates. Ultimately, my market research led me to decide to launch a community platform that teaches freelancing. For you, in the second step, using the same [06:48] notebook you have, turn the page and conduct market research. Do you want to research whether there's demand for your idea? Do you want to research your competitors, both within your target country and globally? Do you want to research how all these competitors, especially the [07:01] successful ones, operate? I want you to find the gaps in all of this, and that will be the foundation of your company. The third step, and one of the most difficult, is building the company itself. Now pay attention; we're going to delve into the details. The biggest obstacle preventing anyone from [07:13] building a company or starting a project is... He thinks the issue is too big for him personally, but I simpler than that. When I decided to create a community platform, I discovered that there are online platforms that build community platforms, things like Circle, School, and [07:26] MetaNetwork, and many more. I did a little research and wondered how much it would cost to build my own platform versus buying one of these ready-made platforms. When I contacted someone to build my platform, the prices varied from $16,000 to $20,000. When I looked at the [07:39] platforms that offer ready-made solutions, I found that the most expensive one costs around $1,000 a year and includes all the features I originally wanted. That's when I realized that the internet, thankfully, has solutions for everything. I looked at all [07:51] these platforms and chose the one that was most suitable for me at the time, both in terms of price and features. What it offers is what I need, and that's why I chose a platform called Mighty Network. It helps you build a complete community, add the features you want, add courses, and much more. It [08:03] costs us exactly $99 a month. What I'm trying to tell you is that you don't need to hire a team of programmers to build your application or a huge website, or even build a company with an office. We live in an easy and fast time, and there are solutions for everything. Just find the [08:18] solution that suits you. The second very important thing is that when I started FreelanceX, there was only one course on the platform. I want to tell you that my ambition and dreams at the time were simply that this platform would have just one course—a course that teaches you freelancing only. [08:31] worked like that. I want to tell you that we got our first 500 students with just that one course. The thing is... I'm trying to get this across to you here: there are a lot of people who say, "I won't start this unless I start it right. I can't [08:43] least five to ten courses before I open the platform." Why? So that people don't get bored, so that people feel there's significant value, and all that stuff, what I want to tell you is that this is wrong because it wastes your time. The right thing to do is to [08:55] start with the bare minimum you have, something called an MVP (Minimum Version), the lowest version of the product you're trying to offer, and then gradually start modifying and improving it. This is for a very important reason: modification and improvement should be based on the opinions of people who have tried the service, not your [09:09] personal opinion. For example, after we spent about two or three months with the only course we had, most of the feedback we received on the platform was that the problem was that they didn't have the skills to start freelancing with. So, you're teaching them freelancing as if they already have the skills, but without the [09:22] skills, they won't be able to do anything. That's where the idea came from: why not create actual skills courses? So, that was the first update we made to the platform—we started adding skills courses, and it really benefited us and the community a lot, and it increased sales. We have a lot to say, and honestly, I won't spoil anything further here. So, [09:35] yes, I opened a platform called Mighty Network, subscribed to their service, recorded my course (just like any other video), used an editor to edit it, uploaded it to the platform, went online, downloaded the video, and said, "Finally, the platform is [09:49] ready! Come on in!" That's all. There wasn't anything particularly exciting about it. And $200 or so. So, what you need to do at this stage is find a way to start your own company. For example, if you're planning to learn [10:05] this course, you could upload it to a ready-made platform like Udemy. Yes, they take a large percentage of the sales, but at least you'll have started your project. Then, little by little, you can take the course and build your own platform, or you can go to Mighty Network. It's like me or something like that, but you have to start in the least [10:18] way possible. The next step is very obvious, which is marketing. We have to market this platform that has been shown in order to make sales. Of course, thank God, during that period of my life, I was already creating content and had a following, so it was easy for me to make several videos telling people to [10:32] I'm saying something illogical to you because you don't have followers. So, I'll tell you two points. First, you generally need to create content in this day and age. In this era, someone who doesn't create content is considered slow and behind the times. It's no longer up for debate; you [10:47] have to create content in this day and age. So, if you have n't started creating content yet, this is a great opportunity to begin. Second, most companies in the world aren't built on the idea of a content creator having followers. The most common way to make money is through paid advertising as a company. So, what I'm [11:00] or anything like that. It's perfectly normal. At the same time, you can create a page for the company on social media and post content under the page's name, not... You know, marketing is very logical and easy, and it works like this. You can become an influencer marketer and pay me money to [11:13] advertise your platform or your company, for example. Anyway, thank God, since we started the platform until today, we haven't done any paid ads at all. And to be honest, we goal wasn't to set a budget and push it, we were just testing what would happen. And honestly, nothing happened. We did [11:28] sell our best stuff in those months, but thank God, in the past two years, all our work has been organic. We have a page on Instagram and Facebook where we post content for FreelancerX, and every month I would post a video on YouTube talking about FreelancerX, marketing it, or selling it. We also used to [11:41] make offers every now and then, like a package called " Lifetime," where you pay once and don't pay anything else, or another package. For example, you could subscribe and get a free consultation, and things like that. These were all different marketing methods that, thank God, generated very good sales. Now let's move on to the fourth step, [11:54] which is the step that made the most money for us within the platform. It's something called Attraction and Solving. Attraction means repetition, and Solving means that we solve problems. Now the platform is ready and has been launched on social media. Little by little, the platform is growing. People are requesting specific things. " [12:08] Wael, I created the portfolio, but I don't know if I did it right or wrong." That's where the idea came from to create a page called Portfolio Evaluation. People send us their portfolios, and we give them a written evaluation. I do this myself, Wael. "We need skills," we created [12:20] our questions, so you have to go live with us," we did a live session every month. These are all things we learn every time The platform grew, and every time we added a new service and announced it, the platform grew even bigger. What I also want to [12:32] emphasize is that these days, companies aren't huge with large teams and all that. In the first few months of the platform, I was responsible for all support – WhatsApp, email, and anyone who needed help. I personally responded to them. Basically, there were absolutely no [12:48] I did everything myself. For example, we didn't send emails to people we were welcoming. We weren't doing anything at all. This wasn't out of stinginess, but because we were just starting out. When I say "we," I mean I was just starting out, building gradually. [13:01] As the platform grew significantly and the user base increased, it became clear that we needed additional services. The support was strong, and at that point, we needed someone to handle it. Not just support, but something called a community manager—someone responsible for the community [13:14] itself, responsible for helping people succeed, talking to them, motivating them, engaging them, answering their questions, and so on. So, we brought in Ahmed, and he became responsible for all of that. Little by little, we started to expand our courses, so we brought in another person, Omar. His job was to find [13:27] courses from people who were truly skilled in their field. Keep in mind, I don't teach the skills myself; it's someone who's truly skilled in that field, someone with certifications, an skill for years. They're the ones who come and give the course. Omar goes and arranges for them to record the course and send it to us, and so on. [13:42] From there, we started to expand, hiring people and offering salaries, but the whole company is based on these three individuals: me, Ahmed, and Omar. The more the company grows, the more we and the more money we have, the more we [13:55] invest in tools to improve our experience. If you log into the platform today, you'll notice everything is different. You log in, receive emails, find a lot of people, many courses, and many different things. And lastly, during the initial [14:09] attraction and solvability phase, you need to understand that this is a period where you actually make money. As much as it very good period. Now, the last thing I need to say is that after two years of success, thank God, and thanks to God's blessings, I've decided to change everything and completely overhaul everything. [14:24] So, there are two questions: what will you change, and why? Let's start with the second question: why are we changing everything? As I mentioned, the platform grows over time, and when... As a platform grows, it has certain needs. These needs are important so that the people on the platform truly benefit, and they're also important [14:38] so that we can keep up with the large number of people who have joined the platform. So, to put it simply, the platform's expenses have increased. What expenses exactly? You just told us, Wael, that there are no expenses. No, anyone who joins the platform as a student incurs expenses. So, when the [14:53] number of students increases suddenly, these expenses increase for us suddenly. Another problem arises: we're required to significantly increase the number of courses, and these courses are expensive to purchase. The third thing is that we want to provide a truly unique experience. We're doing [15:05] new things, adding consultations, creating internal programs, bringing in people to give sessions— things like that. Unfortunately, all of these things have costs, and to keep up with these costs, we unfortunately need to raise our prices. The platform—I didn't mention this at the beginning of the video—was [15:20] priced at $10 per month. A monthly subscription meant $10 was deducted from your account each month, similar to Netflix. The difference was that you actually learned how to make money with us. We had a " lifetime package" where you paid $50 once and didn't pay anything else, [15:33] like paying five months upfront. Unfortunately, we're changing everything because the platform has changed completely since the video was released. First, we canceled the " lifetime package." That package is [15:46] completely finished, and unfortunately, we won't be opening it again. While it brought us good money once, in the long run, it was costing us a lot of money. We created it to help many people who couldn't afford to subscribe or who [16:00] wanted to subscribe for extended periods without paying upfront. The money was built, and I swear, based on public demand, not anyone else's. We're completely canceling it. Subscriptions on the platform will be monthly and annual. But the big difference is that there will now be two [16:13] different packages on the platform: either you subscribe as a FreelancerX or you subscribe as a FreelancerX Pro. Let's talk first about the FreelancerX package. People who subscribe to this package will get all the courses available on the platform, whether they are freelance courses ( [16:26] currently about four) or skills courses (currently up to 16). Next, these people will get the library. The library is a place with all the resources and tools you can use as a freelancer to earn [16:39] money faster, including templates, emails, proposals, and much more. After that, community channels will be open to people in this package, and they will have a dedicated page. Ask the community, which is the page where you [16:51] ask your question, and anyone in the community will answer you in real time. Next, this package includes our AI bot, Farid (if you don't know, it's AI-powered), which tracks your progress daily, helping you reach your goal of making [17:04] money. Finally, you receive certificates after completing all the courses. This package will cost $15 per month; we increased the price from $10 to $15. Of course, if you subscribe annually, you'll pay $150 per year, [17:16] saving you two months. Now, let's move on to the second package, Freelancers Pro, which is my personal favorite. First, you'll get all the features of the first package. Second, you'll attend the live stream I host every month. Unfortunately, those in the [17:28] first package won't be able to attend this live stream, where I answer all your questions and share strategies you can use to earn money. The money for the next thing will take the Ask Wael page and the Ask an Expert page. The first package used to take the Ask the Community page, but Freelan Sax [17:41] Pro will take the Ask Wael page, where you write your questions and I answer you personally, and another channel called Ask an Expert where you ask people who have done the skills courses and they answer you there. The next thing is a very special service, which is the portfolio evaluation service. This is one of the [17:54] most used services at FreelancerX. In the end, when you create a portfolio and want to know if it is good or bad, you upload this portfolio and I personally tell you my evaluation of this portfolio, what is right, what is wrong, what should be improved, and so on. [18:06] This page is open to people who are in the Freelancers Pro package only. Next up are the SAS tools we've developed recently. We've created several different SAS tools, and we'll be adding more in the coming period, God willing. These tools will be available only to FreelancersX Pro subscribers. One of the [18:20] best features we have now at FreelancersX is the Job Board. Basically, I personally manage at least three or four freelancers every day. So, all that work is now available on FreelancersX, and students [18:33] If there are people who truly meet my criteria, I hire them and they get paid. These jobs will only be available to FreelancersX Pro subscribers. Finally, we'll be offering courses specifically for FreelancersX Pro subscribers. These aren't [18:48] courses on science, as we don't monopolize knowledge, but courses on topics like how to... Making money quickly in seven days, for example, through a course on how to manage your finances—things like that. All of this like that. All of this will cost $29 per month or [19:01] $290 per year. So, from now on, this will be the new look for FreelancerX. Of course, from a business perspective, many people will ask, "Does another video, God willing. But in general, this is something we had to do, otherwise the [19:15] company might have gone bankrupt. So, if you want to join FreelancerX, I'll put all the links below. You can also visit our page now. By the way, we've also created a new website that I'm very excited about. You can go there to get more details, see what people who [19:27] us. I hope this video was helpful, and I hope you start your own company. If you want to leave a comment with an idea, feel free to share it with us. Your company, believe me, no one is stealing ideas, don't worry. As usual, I have delivered the message, O God, bear witness. See you in the next video.
