I don't claim to know everything, nor do I claim to be a particularly intelligent man. I often remind you, I know next to nothing in the grand scheme of things. But if there's one thing I do know, it's diarrhea. I would argue I might know it
better than most men on this planet. My [ __ ] is a factory that never shuts down. I am a big-time [ __ ] So, I've had plenty of diarrhea bouts in my life.
Not that I'm unique in that respect, but it does feel like a familiar friend that I know all too well. And now diarrhea's gone mainstream. I'm sure a lot of you have heard or maybe unfortunately even experienced it yourself. The
cycllosporasis outbreak that's spreading across the country right now. It is. It storm like the Gangnum style dance right now. And I got to tell you, I've been

outbreak. I imagine when you think of like foods that'll cause intestinal distress and have you voiding your bowels all liquidy and and shitty, you
probably think of like really greasy food, really processed food or just something that would like inflame the system or just, you know, cause a lot of a lot of havoc, a lot of mayhem internally. But in the case of
the cycllospora here, the main vectors seem to be fresh fruits and vegetables. You know, the healthiest food options available.
That that kind of blew my mind when I learned where this was coming from cuz I eat fresh fruit for breakfast like every day. And now I probably will stop at
least for a little while. There's no reason to roll the dice cuz it's not like you eat it and immediately have this happen. It sits for like I I read up to like two weeks in some cases before you start to just have your ass
fall out like have your whole butthole blown out. So like it's not it's not like eating fresh fruit every day and just getting more cycllospora in there.
Like all the microplastics in my balls being replaced by cycllospora parasites. brakes on fresh fruits for breakfast for now. Not that you have to do that. I'm
not your dad. You can you can make your own decisions there. But since I saw the uh update here, Florida does have some cycllospora here. The at the cycllospora E3 conference, they did unveil that it it has come to Florida. Yee-ha. So, I I
am just going to play it safe there. And you may have noticed that when talking about this, the reporter as well as anywhere else you read, there is a lot track and monitor and get all of this information around the cycllospora,
which is so weird. I wonder what's causing that. There's some far-fetched crackpot theories like some of the cuts to these agencies making this more difficult, you know, like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. making a number of budget
and staff cuts as part of the old Elon Musk Doge initiative, which was a colossal [ __ ] flop. By the way, where the federal government reduced the tracks several pathogens, including cycllospora, you know, the protagonist
of this outbreak, by the way, Salmonella and Lysteria. Foodnet scaled back monitoring for all but two pathogens last year, which all Americans had been asking for that. We we all collectively said we want to ensure that we are not
monitoring these things we don't want to know. Let's get that [ __ ] off the books. Say let let's let's save money there so we're not paying attention to this kind of stuff. Funding is not kept pace with resources required for the program. The
CDC wrote in a memo to the state of Connecticut. According to NBC News, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is a simple man. He sees roadkill. He cuts its penis off. When it comes to monitoring food born diseases,
he does one of these. It's [ __ ] useless. But don't worry. Now that this is clearly blowing up, I'm sure RFK Jr. will do all he can to fight it himself. RFK Jr. will square off directly with Cycllospora parasites, him and his
brainworm, in a tag team matchup in the Thunderdome. And he'll probably post an AI video on Twitter of him boxing cycllospora to get it off of our fruits and more cases emerge. And what we know about the people who've gotten sick,
some of them have been hospitalized. When you look at Michigan alone, where there are now more than 2600 cases that have been reported, 44 of them have been
hospitalized. And when you look across the country, there have been dozens more hospitalizations as well. In total, Briana, 31 states across the country have reported cases. >> Now, I'm sure you can downplay the
significance of this. Oh, it's only a few thousand people and, you know, a right now that I'm aware of. But why is that okay? Like, it's still like
reported where people just think they got diarrhea. They just got the runny shits from something bad that they ate, like a bad piece of shrimp or something. because they didn't get it to like a severe level to the point where they're
concerned or hospitalized. So what the real number is, who really knows? But me to just be like, eh, I'll just avoid fruits and vegetables for now. And there
is nothing more synonymous with diarrhea than Taco Bell. So Taco Bell kind of being the poster child for diarrhea has been in the spotlight a lot here because least in some loose capacity. So there's been some attention being turned towards
them. Apparently in the Detroit area, Taco Bell restaurants posted signs that they were currently unable to sell lettuce, cilantro, onion, pico deayo, and guacamole due to a nationwide recall. The these are just the the
bullet points here over like why Taco Bell is being looked at. And since there's been no specific produce grower or supplier that's been identified as the source here and Taco Bell hasn't elaborated on the signs, they think that
their produce may be connected. And since so many people have been sick in Michigan, that's one of the places that's been hit the hardest and the hospitalizations, they believe that it could be linked to lettuce there. So
right now they're just being investigated and they're not even being targeted as as like the sole reason and the sole source for where the cycllospora outbreak is coming from, but it's one that they've they've got their
finger on the pulse of to take a closer peek at. I would imagine that maybe Taco it's all stemming from. It's clearly on a much larger scale. Nor do I think it's
all just from Taco Bell produce and suppliers, the ones connected to Taco Bell. I imagine just given the scope of this, it's probably compromised in a lot of places that probably aren't connected to Taco Bell's supply line. Is because
once someone becomes infected, it can take anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks for symptoms to emerge. So health officials especially those in Michigan are really scrambling to identify the source of these cases and the symptoms that
cycllospora infections which is called cycllosporasis. The symptoms of this illness include watery diarrhea in some cases it's described as explosive diarrhea briana as well as loss of appetite cramping
bloating nausea fatigue. >> That is something very notable about this. It's not just diarrhea. It is only being reported from the actual health experts here like the uh officials. It is being reported as explosive diarrhea.
And like I said, I'm wellversed. This is a foe I fought many times. That old diarrhea menace. I can I feel like I can only count on one hand the amount of times I've had an experience that I would consider explosive
like dynamite stuck in my anus. Like it must be remarkably uncomfortable. Okay. So talk to us about washing fruits and vegetables because the pictures that we're looking at here I think is how a lot of people do it. They run their
fruit or vegetable underneath a stream of water. Maybe they're trying to make sure they clean the surface of it. I mean, is that enough? Is there a soak? Do they need to use some kind of additive in the water? What can we do?
>> Yeah. So, water is better than nothing. But to really be more effective with cleaning your fruits and vegetables, you can add a little bit of vinegar to create a vinegar rinse. So, what you want to do, mix one part vinegar with
three parts water in a large bowl. This was another big thing about the cycllospora here is that washing the fruits and vegetables does little to actually get rid of them for the most part. Like it can help from what I've
read, but it doesn't like make them safe if the cycllospora was there. It she's giving like some tips and tricks here about doing like a vinegar rinse,
which I've seen reported elsewhere as well. That supposedly helps too. But again, for me, I probably just won't even bother. I I would end up since I'm [ __ ] hypochondriac, I would end up just scrubbing the fruits and vegetables
till it's just nothing. Just mush, worthless, and wouldn't even eat it. So, it, it looks like you can take matters into your own hands with like a vinegar
rinse to help. Well, wolf, it can be quite serious and then it can cause severe dehydration if it's not uh treated in terms of maintaining your hydration. Luckily, an antibiotic that we know as uh Bactrum or Septra does
have some positive impact. So, it is partially treatable. >> So, if you do get cycllosporasis, it's not like, you know, you're [ __ ] out of luck or anything like that. there there are treatments available. The big thing
is the dehydration from some of the hospitalization reports that I was was like dehydration because you lose so much doing that. So just making sure to
rehydrate and and treat that is the big one. But yeah, it's just one of those things where like it's not killing people, you know, that piling up corpses seriously and be mindful of. I don't think anyone wants to just be having
explosive diarrhea if you can avoid it. So, just wanted to yap about it a little bit. I found it to be fascinating. And anyway, that's really about it. Tip.
