[01:07] my plat other platforms that i grew on and i try to give you all advice on that so first of all let's see let's talk about what the twitch affiliate program about what the twitch affiliate program is and what perks do you get from it
[01:20] the twitch affiliate program is just making the first tier of being able to uh get paid basically from twitch but things that you get from it you get a personal personalized
[01:34] email you get personalized emails that you can give to your chat uh if they subscribe to your channel or something like that so that's one thing and then you have a
[01:46] get monetized and to make a little bit extra money i mean everybody want to make a little extra money right so
[01:59] things that you can get on that is you can make you can make money with bits it's bits you can buy the bits for certain price to get to give to you to the streamers and then turn down those bits turn into
[02:16] so the bits are like i think it's like one cent one cent per bit so 100 bits is one dollar so
[02:29] then we have donations you can get donations receive donations from whoever want to donate to the channel you've got subscriptions now the subscriptions they have three tiers of
[02:42] subscriptions they have three tiers of subscriptions subscriptions 599 tier 2 it's 9.99 and tier 3 is 24.99
[02:55] these tiers you get half tier so somebody tier one you're gonna get 250
[03:11] 2.50 off of that so then also you i forgot to tell you about that you also have twitch prime subs now i need to do my homework on this one i don't really know the exact amount that
[03:27] but you get something off of it i don't think it's the the total amount like a tier one but you get you you're gonna get something off of it so
[03:41] then we have you can make money from ad revenues basically how many people come in the stream and view you and view the ads which is on your stream but this don't
[03:57] don't even worry about making money from this because it's it's gonna be basically literally nothing i mean it add up but it's
[04:10] i mean it add up but it's the way you you monetize the ads it's it don't add up that much so don't worry about that so but it adds up all of it add up together and
[04:22] you know you you get paid out so then they got also you have in-game sales this is like some like games that that's that's so in-game like you have
[04:37] certain games that will go through twitch and people can purchase those games and if they purchase them games that's on your while you playing it and they purchase it
[04:50] you you get a little cut off of that now we know which which you feel it is let's talk about the requirements to get switchability the requirements to get switchability first requirement you need at least 500
[05:04] total minutes broadcast within a 30-day period within a 30-day period then at the next one at least then at the next one at least seven unique broadcast days within the
[05:16] seventh period then you have to have an average of three concurrent viewers or more in within a 30 day period and you have to obtain at least 50 followers
[05:31] the first two requirements basically you'll get those with you if you just turn your stream on if you know how to turn your stream on and start streaming you gonna get those regardless because they they it's just
[05:45] simple which but everything have to be done within a 30-day period so that one is pretty simple so we don't have really anything to talk about on um just have to start upstream and get
[06:00] today we're gonna just talk to you about the last two that's that's going pretty good i it been out for about four months doing pretty good it's about how you get your first 50
[06:16] followers if you want to check that video out check that video out but wait so basically i followed people on twitter
[06:30] and also i went on their twitch account and if they had 100 followers or less i followed them now let me explain
[06:43] this again because i don't think a lot of people understood what i was talking about by just listening to the comments some of the comments i don't i don't think people understood
[06:56] i don't i don't think people understood me clearly i follow people to go to basically because i got to the point i and i got to the point i was just like man something's just not right because
[07:10] i'm i'm just wasting my time streaming because nobody is coming in my stream so basically i got the idea that i'm just gonna follow people and the people i'll follow i'm gonna go on their streams just to see what
[07:24] they're doing and also to help them out about trying to help other people because i i feel like i wanted some help too so i said man look
[07:39] if nobody else want to help people i'm going to go in their streams i'm gonna help them out with just by just coming in their stream just so they can get the confidence that you know somebody care somebody
[07:54] care about them and they want to come in the stream and talk to him while they it's just to keep you keep your sanity up you know what i'm saying and most of them that i went in that stream and i did that with they followed me back but
[08:07] you look you can call it follow for follow if you want but that basically was it's not a follow for power because i was going in there with a focus of helping others and that's all i wanted
[08:23] to do because i want to help others and that's why i focus right now that's what i'm doing now i'm trying to understand you know the best way to grow
[08:39] on twitch today you know twitch today you know it's things which you have to do and that's my focus not my focus is to help others not
[08:51] basically to grow anything right now but i just want to help others to get people to know who i am and give them some value and once you do that you give people
[09:05] value like that they will come so that's why i spend most of my time on youtube create content and this this right here is going to lead into the next
[09:19] thing which how to get three concurrent viewers or more within your stream within a 30-day period now when you say three concurrent viewers
[09:32] that you can have three people you get up to three people in your stream one time no in your stream one time no you have to have an average of three or
[09:47] more concurrent viewers in your stream within that 30-day period so you you have to have an average like every time you go live you have to average out to three so some
[10:01] days you might not have any some days you're gonna have to probably have six you know to average it out to three first you have to get people to know you in this case
[10:15] stream you have to get people to know you because if you just streaming and you do cutting the game on you playing a video game people not gonna find you you have to get people to know who you are
[10:31] and how to find your stream the first thing you know to get your 50 followers this will also work for this but you don't want to abuse that so because like in the first video i
[10:45] explained that that that tip you only want to use that to get your first 50 followers because you can only help so many people you can only go and support so many people at a time anyway so
[11:01] everybody there are a couple more things to grow basically the number one thing i say is you got to
[11:13] grow on other platforms with more discoverability to be a content creator you have to learn to be a content today because
[11:28] when you are streaming that's what you're doing you creating content and your content you create on youtube or others other platforms or whatever you doing on instagram or whatever
[11:42] it needs to be more than just gameplay i see so many people see so many people just uploading just their game play and they don't even have a camera on they're just uploading their gameplay
[11:55] something that they did on stream or whatever i don't know people people want to see you you have to do something to show your personality you have to do something
[12:08] that shows why should i come to your stream to look at you people really don't want to just look at somebody play a video game they they have more fun playing that video game themselves other than looking at
[12:22] somebody else plan to be all day and when people come to your stream you have to focus on your chat because the more you focus on your chat the longer they stay in there so if you you keep people
[12:35] you keep people like say say you keep someone in there you keep those three views in there for a long time you might get another one in later on so that way you have four now so you over
[12:50] that three so that's a better chance of you getting that average after 30 days keep your chat engaged because that's why people are come to live streaming platforms today they they want to be interacting with
[13:05] the streamer so it's really not that much that you have to do to get your choice affiliate but you want to start you want to get on to doing certain things certain practices
[13:21] because once you get twitch affiliate that don't mean you you gonna start making money you have to get more people involved with it that that's just the beginning of it just get getting that title
[13:34] and getting the the check mark to get your twitch affiliate that just the first step and you really didn't make anything by that time you have to work
[13:50] you're going to have to work harder after you get your twitch ability because it is it's definitely not easy but it's going gonna take time it's gonna take work
[14:04] you're gonna have to be patient because your time will come if you do everything which you need to do just like do give content content that's going to
[14:18] give some kind of sort of value to your viewers need to let people know who you are and how you can reach the stream
[14:30] you need to show your personality show people who you are and try to be yourself don't try to be somebody else be yourself
[14:46] and then it's just you know you have to work but if you want to grow you have to focus on other stuff before you focus on your stream 100
