## Summary

This video tests a roulette strategy called 'True Loss Martingale Dozens or Columns' at a real casino. The creator demonstrates both a modified and original version of the strategy, highlighting the risks and potential rewards of Martingale betting systems.

### Key Points

- **Introduction to the Strategy** [00:00] — The video begins with the creator at a casino, planning to test a roulette strategy called 'True Loss Martingale Dozens or Columns'.
- **Strategy Origin** [00:30] — The strategy is not the creator's own; it was submitted by a viewer named Alex, who claims a 99% win rate, which the creator doubts.
- **Modified Strategy Setup** [01:14] — The modified version involves betting one unit on a dozen and one unit on a column. If the ball lands on an overlapping number, the payout is four units instead of one.
- **Bankroll Building** [02:27] — The modified strategy is more volatile but offers higher potential for quick bankroll growth, which suits roulette's short-term win nature.
- **First Win and Martingale Doubling** [03:25] — After a win on the column, the strategy dictates doubling the bet on the losing side only, demonstrating the Martingale principle.
- **Advantage of Losing** [04:10] — The creator explains that losing on one side can lead to higher profits when the ball lands on overlapping numbers, as seen with a six-unit win.
- **Transition to Original Strategy** [06:43] — After being up $340, the creator switches to the original strategy, which bets on two dozens instead of a dozen and column, covering more numbers but with lower payouts.
- **Handling Zero** [08:46] — When zero hits, the creator recommends resetting the board and starting over, as zeros often come in chains.
- **Martingale Risks** [10:39] — The inherent issue with Martingale is doubling bets to recoup losses, which can lead to risking large amounts of money.
- **Escalating Bets** [13:23] — The creator shows how bets escalate quickly, reaching $80 and potentially $160 or $320, highlighting the need for a massive bankroll.
- **Reset Recommendation** [14:02] — The creator recommends resetting after four consecutive losses to avoid catastrophic losses, though some suggest five.
- **Profit and Walk Away Advice** [17:55] — After reaching $937, the creator advises walking away when significantly up, as Martingale strategies only work short-term.
- **Demonstrating Losses** [19:58] — The creator intentionally continues playing to show the losing side, ending down $400, emphasizing that Martingale can lead to significant losses.

### Conclusion

The video concludes that while Martingale strategies can yield short-term wins, they are risky and require careful bankroll management. The creator advises walking away when ahead and resetting after losses to mitigate risks.

## Transcript

What's up everyone, it's your favorite local neighborhood fire fighter and today we're at the casino and we're going to be playing us some roulette. So, let's get at it. okay y'all today's strategy revolves around a thing called true loss martingale dozens or columns
so again as always all the strategies i show you they're not mine they are tested strategies that I found online and that people have suggested. So these aren't mine. I'm just trying it out for you.
Now, I'm here at the casino because I don't really like it when I go on YouTube and I look at these strategies and people are playing online or they're playing in their house or at their business. You know, if you don't have any skin in the game,
what's the point? So we're here at the casino, and as always, we're doing it on one of the game kings because they won't let me film at the table. So we're going to give it a shot, and we're going to see what happens. All right, let's give a shout out to Alex who submitted this strategy.
Now, Alex claims that this has a 99% win rate. Seems pretty unlikely, but we're going to put that to the test. Now, I've played this a few times, and I actually have a modification to this strategy,
and that's what we're going to start off with today, and then we'll transition to Alex's strategy. Now, we're playing on the 12s and the columns, as the name suggests.
What we want to do is we're going to bet one unit on any of the 12s and one unit on any of the columns. If it hits on either one of those, we're going to win one unit.
on this particular strategy if it hits on any of the overlapping numbers we're going to win four units which is a significant increase
so it is more volatile there's more of a chance of you losing because you're cutting out some numbers and you'll see that once we show you the original strategy but I like this one because the potential to build your bankroll really quickly
is significantly higher, and roulette is a game of short-term wins. So let's go ahead and put 20 on the first column, and we're going to put 20 on the first 12.
Remember, roulette has one of the highest house edges, so law of large number averaging. The longer you play, the more the casino can have the opportunity to take your money.
So in this case we're going to bet big in the beginning and we're going to gain it down as we progress and get into the original strategy Hopefully we get into profit. Hopefully we don't lose
Fingers crossed here. So we're going to start off with this and then again we'll transition If we get up significantly
12 red. Okay, perfect. So we've gotten that first column. Now the way this strategy works, because it's a martingale, we are going to double our bet. But only on the one that lost.
So the column. We're going to double the column to 40. And we're going to keep that first 12 at 20.
Yes! Absolutely perfect! Okay, this is the best case scenario. So, since it landed on one of those four numbers, we win on both the column and the 12. So, in the beginning
I said you would win four units. Now, since we lost on that column, we're actually going to win more. We win six units. And that's kind of the advantage to this, is that one don't lose if it lands on those four, but you also want to lose a little bit because the more you
lose, the more profit you make. All right, absolutely perfect, $180 up. So now what we're going to do is we're going to reset both of them and go again since they're both winning.
Sorry guys, I'm kind of at a weird angle over here. I have to reach over. Okay, great Red. Okay, so that's a perfect example.
We lost What we going to do here is we just going to double both bets Mario strategy you just double both bets
Now if this one doesn't hit anything, neither that column or the first wall, we're going to double our bet again. 13 black.
Okay, perfect. 13 black. Okay, perfect. So our first column hit, but our 12 didn't. So now we're going to have to double that 40 to 80,
and we'll reset the column back to 20.
Pretty simple, right? Now, on these, we actually kind of want to lose a little bit more because we're going to make more money if we get to those higher numbers.
So we kind of want to lose once or twice to get into more profit.
Oh, and it's a seven. Perfect. Another double win. Perfect scenario, y'all. Okay, so we're up. $340. Amazing. So what I want to do now is you've gotten the modified version. Let's
go to the original version. And since we're up, let's drop our bet. We're going to drop our bet down to 10. And the way the original version is, is you either just choose a column
or you choose the dozens and you choose two of them. In this particular case I think we're just going to go with the first dozen and second dozen.
Same premise, y'all. So if it doesn't hit on either one of those, we double our bet. If it hits, we leave it the same, or we reset it, and we double the one that didn't hit.
So we're covering more of the board with this one, but we're not winning those three extra units like we were on the other strategies. So a little bit more risk for a little less reward.
A little less risk for a little less reward. Okay, so we lost, right? Double our bets. Both of them. Nothing hit.
Seven red. Man, lucky number seven. Alright. So, we're going to reset that first twelve, and we're going to double the second twelve. Now obviously y'all you probably would walk away when we were up at 840 but I want to
show you the original strategy too. And we're playing with profits, so now I don't have to really worry. Oh, zero. Zero. Okay, there is nothing in the playbook about this.
What I recommend doing is just starting over. Clear the board, start back at whatever denomination you started with, and pretend like you never happened.
you can keep going but I tend to find that zeros come in chains I don't know if that's me but usually a lot of strategies when you hit a zero you just reset and start all the way back at where you were or you just don't count it
34 red. Alright, another loss. Kind of glad we reset. Alright, double it.
Nice, team lost. Alright, as you can see, we're winning one unit. So let's double the first roll, reset, 10.
Now we at This is the inherent issue with Martingale strategies. I don't know.
The way Martingales work is that you are doubling your bet to regain your loss, your original loss.
It's a little bit different on these because they're paying two for every one. But on a normal Martingale strategy, you're basically trying to just recoup one unit.
And as you double, you're risking a lot of money. 17 black alright so we haven't gotten to that situation yet but you know what
pretty much how about this let's let's drop it down to $5 like I said the longer you play the more the chances of you losing
and I kind of want to show you as we get more and more losses in a row what can happen so let's drop this down to five dollars and keep going from there
let me know down in the comments what you think of this strategy if you've played it before if there's a different modification that you know of some of you might be wondering why am I playing on a digital roulette table
Well, most direct to snows won't let you thumb up the tables. So, I like these. You don't really get as many comps. A lot of times you don't get any comps.
But, for a low limit player, we're going to double both bets now. For the low limit player, you know, if you only want to bet
a dollar, this is pretty much your only option. I'm looking minimum $25. $25.
$26.
$15. Okay. So this brings us to an interesting point.
We are now betting $80 on that first 12. That is the inherent problem. If this one doesn't hit,
our next bet would have to be $160. So this is the inherent problem with Martingale strategies. If that doesn't hit, the next bet would have to be $320.
So this is why I don't like Martingale strategies, is that you have to have a massive bankroll. So what I recommend is four hits. If you get four losses in a row, just reset your original amount.
Some people say five. I like 4, but you can see where the issue can wind up.
Okay, perfect example. So we're going to reset back to 0 on our first wall, and we will double up our second wall.
I know we're ahead right now, y'all, but in my experience,
Martingale strategies tend to only really work in the short term. So, like we did before, if you're up a significant amount, call it there. Don't keep playing,
especially with a Martingale strategy. Okay. Now I will say, I do like
Marn Gales when we're doing columns or the first 12, or the 12, because since you're getting back 2 for every 1, 19, right?
the more you lose the more in profit you make but eventually there a point where it cashes up Sorry I got the cameras in the chair y
so I got to, like, sit to this side. It's kind of hard to do this.
Okay, one red. Perfect. I mean overall we're not doing bad, we're still in profit territory, but are we stuck
at our $20? Definitely wouldn't have made it this far. $29 is black. Alright, let's double them both.
$80! $90 on the board. You better hit something.
Ooh. Okay. Absolutely should reset. Right? And put me in thinking,
what if I just kept going? You could just win on the next one. why would you take a $90 loss? Because the chances of you hitting the next one are pretty small.
I mean, you could hit that $10, but you still wouldn't win anything on the $80. And you'd have to double up, or the $150. So what I'm going to do is we're going to double up again. We're going to bet $150 and $20, so $180.
Because we're in profit, and I want to show you the possible consequences here. Sorry, a little bit scary betting.
It is profit, but I don't want to lose money. I don't want you all to think that this is easy wins all the time. And that's $480.
We're up to $937. uh okay wasn't expecting that I fully expected that not to hit
um if you get to this point walk away virtually doubled your bankroll don't chase any more wins
especially you know $70 to get to $1000 but what I want to do is since we're in profit and I I'm okay losing this money. I want to keep going. I want to show the losing side of this
because I don't want you to think that that this is what it's going to be every single time. Okay, so I'll need to go 40 and...
Okay, got to double up again.
So, betting 90 again. this is this is what can happen
I've seen huge runs and I've lost a big myself on Martingales so that's why I'm kind of wanting to show you the loss 3 red
ok we won on our 10th but we're still down on the 80 alright so see what happens
and there you go just like that we are down you know $400 that's why I don't like Martin Gales, but I wanted to show you real results because that could have been your first few spins.
