>> I
I can't I I I I can't even I'm I'm so
I'm speechless.
I'm I I I'm actually speechless.
The kid in me just
just screamed out in joy.
I
cannot believe what I just read.
This this is this is my childhood.
This this is the I
This is not fake. The by the way, this
is not fake. There was a legitimate
interview
that came out today.
The main cast of Code Lyoko
are coming back
and they are coming together to continue
the series to make season five. It's not
a reboot. It's not a live action. It is
a just a direct sequel continuation of
the events of season four.
I
I didn't think I would ever see the day
that Code Lyoko would actually get some
form of continuation, but
guys,
like it's been
20 years. I I I I think yeah, it's been
like 20 years
since season four, okay? It It's been a
long time. Two decades.
Two freaking decades.
Oh my Oh my god. Like dude dude, this
just made my day.
This just made my night. LIKE
YO. YO.
>> [laughter]
>> IT'S SO GOOD, MAN. LIKE, I'm I'm so
happy. Like
I I dude
I love Code Lyoko. It was the when
I was growing up. Like, it was one of my
favorite cartoons to watch. Like,
alongside, let's say, Ed, Edd n Eddy,
Courage the Cowardly Dog, Samurai Jack,
and stuff like that. I love Code Lyoko.
It's one of those cartoons that was just
It stood out. It was honestly ahead of
its time. And I I know a lot of people
that they've never watched Code Lyoko,
they have no idea what it's about, and
they took a look at like the designs of
the characters. You're like, "What's
going on with their foreheads?" I
understand. Big and big foreheads, yes.
And I mean, even the fans make fun of
it. But, the story was just way ahead of
its time. And honestly, like, it's one
of the big reasons I think why I even
fell in love with anime eventually is
because the story lines within Code
Lyoko honestly is very anime inspired.
Like, just straight up, very anime
inspired. And honestly, it predates SAO,
and it has kind of a a story where it
goes into a virtual reality type world,
kind of like how SAO does. And so, it
was way ahead of that. I don't think it
was like the first like story to ever do
something like that. I mean, I know you
have like an anime like Hack Sign, for
instance, I believe that predates Code
Lyoko but
the point still stands is that um Code
Lyoko is a childhood classic. And the
fact that it's not just getting a
continuation, but the core team, the
original cast and team is coming back
for this is insane. And now, one of the
big things though that this interview
that came out literally just a few hours
ago details is that basically there is
rights issues. Now, I'm going to take an
educated guess since obviously it's been
uh like two decades since Code Lyoko
like season 4 ended, you know, there's
going to be a lot of different
companies, different rights, and stuff
when it comes to probably using the
music, to using the characters, the
licensing, all sorts of different stuff.
So, when you factor that in, it makes a
lot of sense like there would be some
rights issues that they got to resolve
before they can fully 100% confirm it.
But, at the very least, the core team
literally just straight up said, "Yeah,
that a sequel is in the works. They're
working on it or writing it at the very
least." And I dude, I'm just going to
say, when this does come out, I'm
I might even make videos on it. Like,
I'm serious. Like, it is it's it's my
childhood, man. Like,
this just this just made my night, man.
Like holy
I want to leave it at that. I I just
briefly wanted to make this video. I
don't know how many people are even
going to care about this video. I don't
know how many of you guys are even Code
Lyoko fans, but this is insane news for
me. Like, this this is honestly one of
the biggest pieces of news I've seen all
year for like announcements, at least
for me. But, uh you all have a fantastic
day or night, wherever you live. Be
safe, stay healthy. Chibbi out.
