[00:00] To me, looking at the one take, the intro video, was the logistics of it. It was what was the complicated but also the fun part for me. Thinking about, you know, explosion, the jumps, the zombies, all that kind of happening simultaneously.
[00:21] So my job is to create a budget. So looking at the script, you figure out, you break down the costs. You see, okay, creating three or four zombies, how much does that cost? Okay, jumping off a balcony, what does that entail?
[00:34] And then from that, you hire a full production crew and making sure everything is prepped and ready to go by the time you're ready to shoot and that everyone knows what they have to do. So that's it. It's looking at that script and saying, okay, here's the idea on paper.
[00:48] How do we make this into reality? That's the short answer. That's it. They can come up with the greatest idea in the world, and it's your job to form a team to figure out a way to execute it and to make it happen.
[01:00] Whoever's putting together it all is the producer. So I think having a producer whose sole responsibility is to do what they need to do is extremely helpful because that leaves the creative stuff to the director and the director of photography and the producer can take care of everything else fire truck be right here Is that going to be a problem Is that too close I think so
[01:29] There's definitely a lot of like just a lot of things you pick up through experience like you can't pick up in a book you can't read like online so it's having like some you literally have to have someone tell you about a lot of these things. So what we're going to do is we'll take you from
[01:42] the steps of when you get a script in your hand, we're going to teach you how to break it down. We're going to show you what all you need to do from that process of having words on paper into creating that idea from getting permits for casting,
[01:54] hiring all your key crew members, everything that's involved with starting the process of getting your film made, which really starts with just getting your team together. So that's kind of the first steps along the producing track
[02:06] that we'll show you and go on from there. These are all simple stuff that you can go through, but if you don't have someone walking you the process And you don't really know what it entails it can be really really overwhelming So we'll guide you so don't worry. We're here
