## Summary

This video provides a step-by-step guide on how to trade futures and options on the Delta Exchange app, focusing on depositing funds, analyzing charts, using leverage, and executing trades. The presenter demonstrates a futures trade in Ethereum, explaining key concepts like leverage and order types.

### Key Points

- **Introduction to Trading on Delta Exchange** [00:01] — The video aims to teach how to buy options and sell trades for profit using the Delta Exchange app.
- **Depositing Funds** [00:33] — To start trading, users need to deposit money via the Pay Wallet option by clicking 'Add Fund'.
- **Choosing Futures Trading** [01:00] — Futures trading is highlighted as having lower loss risk and the ability to hold positions indefinitely.

- **Analyzing the Chart** [01:41] — Users must click on the 'Pay Chart' option to see the Ethereum chart and decide whether the price will go up or down.
- **Understanding Leverage** [02:09] — Leverage from 1x to 200x is available; beginners should use minimum leverage. Leverage allows trading with borrowed money, e.g., 25x leverage turns $1000 into $25,000.
- **Risk of Leverage** [03:38] — If the price moves against the position, the trade is automatically exited, and the invested amount becomes zero to protect the company's money.
- **Order Types: Limit vs Market** [04:23] — Limit orders execute at a specified price, while market orders execute at current market price. The presenter uses market order.
- **Setting Quantity and Leverage** [05:03] — One lot equals 0.01 Ethereum. With insufficient balance, leverage is applied (e.g., 25x) to reduce the required margin to $1.36.
- **Placing the Order** [06:16] — Click 'Buy' then 'Place Order' to execute the trade. The order is placed, and the user can track it in the Portfolio.
- **Closing the Trade** [06:42] — To sell, go to Portfolio, click 'Close', increase to 100x, and confirm. Profit/loss is displayed, and funds can be withdrawn to bank.

### Conclusion

## Transcript

Friends, in today's video we are going to learn we have to look at the graph here. How do we buy options and how can we sell that trade after we make a profit here. I am going to
if you also want to do future trading or option trading in Delta Exchange app end. If you like the video, we have opened the Delta Exchange app. Friends, to do trading, first of all we should have
money in our account. If not, you will see the Pay Wallet option here. You have to click on this. And from here friends, you can deposit money by clicking on Add Fund. I will take a small trade and show you the
entire process of how to take a trade. So now friends, to trade we will have to click here on the market option. As soon as we click on the market option, I will show you future trading. What happens in this is
trading. What happens in this is that there is very less chance of us incurring loss here. Ok? If we want, we can hold it for as long as we want. So I'll take a futures trade in Ethereum. Ok ? Or you can also do it in Bitcoin.
I select Ethereum. As soon as you select it. Friends, here we get to see the complete dashboard of Ethereum. From where we can take trades. But first you have to look at the graph before taking the trade. So
what do you have to do for this? Here you have to click on the pay chart option. As soon as you click on this, you will see the chart of Ethereum here which shows which side is performing right now. So you can see this right now, this is the complete graph of Ethereum.
So you always have to take trades here only after looking at the graph. So now friends, let me tell you how to take a trade. To take a trade, click on the trade option. Now the first thing you have to decide is whether the graph will go up or
down. You should decide this thing only after looking at the graph. For example, if I think the graph will go up, then I will select the buy long option here. If you think the graph will go down then you have to select the option of Sell Short.
Ok? So I will click on the buy long option. Now friends, here the first option we see at the top is leverage. What is leverage? First, let us understand leverage. For example, we click here. So
here you can take leverage from 1x to 200x. But if you are a beginner. Ok? So you have to take minimum leverage. Ok? And is it beneficial or harmful for us? We know this thing too. So as you can see,
what does leverage mean? That we are kind of borrowing some money. Ok? We are running out of money to trade. So we are trading by borrowing some money. What will happen now? Let me tell you. Like we only have 1000 to trade.
Ok? But if we take 25x leverage then we have Rs 25,000 to trade with. This means that our value of 1000 has changed to 25,000. So what will happen now? Like here I click on the chart option.
So look here your trade value of Rs 25,000 has been done. If you are taking a trade of Rs 25,000 then look at this graph which is here right now. So from here if you select the buy option, okay? If you take a trade here and
this graph goes up from here, then your profit here will be as per the value of Rs 25,000. Ok? But this graph comes back here again. It comes to this position. And after coming here, this graph goes down a little bit.
So what is there here? This trade will be automatically exited. And your money will become zero. This means that the Rs 1000 that you had invested in the trade will become zero. Your trade will be exited automatically. And because you are
taking leverage and using the company's money here, the company will not want its money to be lost or its money to be lost. Ok? So that's why there is an automatic exit. So this is the meaning of leverage brother, which I have told you. If
you still do not understand then comment carefully, I will make a video on this and show you how to do it. Ok? Now look here, there is an option below to select the market. So if we click on this, then here we, that is mainly as far as I
think, have two options, limit and market. So I like only two options here. If we want, we can impose a limit. If you set a limit, what is there here? We will click on the limit option and
if we enter the limit here. As you can see now, the price of Ethereum here is $3316. You want to buy
put 3310 USD and as soon as you put it, it will be buy only when it reaches 3310 USD. This will not happen. So you can limit this thing from here. Let me select it at market rate. After that we get the option of quantity. You
can see the quantity here, one lot equals 0.01 Ethereum. Ok? So here I put one lot. And if we invest one lot then we have applied leverage now. I will reduce this leverage completely. So here what we are being asked to pay for one lot is
$33 $19 USD. But right now the balance we have is not that much. This means we have only 5.79 USD here. So what will we do here? Click on leverage
and from here I take the leverage of 25x. Now we have leverage of 25x. So now you will see here that our amount has reduced. Now you have to pay only 1.36 USD.
As I told you earlier, leverage means that if we have ₹1000 and we want to take a trade of ₹25000, then we will not be able to do so. For this [music] we need to take 25x leverage to take this trade. So if we have less
money. So you must have understood the meaning of this thing leverage here also. Now friends, what do we have to do here? Here a direct buy option click on the buy option. After that
friends, here we get to see an option Place Order. Ok? So we will click on this option. As soon as we click here, our order is placed. Now we will come back from here. After that friends, you will see here below you will
get an option called Portfolio. You have to click on this. Or friends, you can also click on this. Or friends, you can also track your trade from here. You profit is being made and how much loss is being incurred.
You will be able to check this thing here also. Ok? Now friends, here we click on the portfolio option. Now friends, here you will see that we get to see two more options. There is an add, there is a close. So if you
want to add more coins in it, then click on the add option and from here you will be able to add more coins. But if you feel that you have made profit in it and you want to sell it, then for this we get to see an option of
close here. Ok? We will click on this close option. As soon as you click here. Now friends, what do we have to do here? This has to be increased to 100x. And the confirm option will appear below. To sell, click on the confirm option.
So this is what our sale is. Now whatever our profit and loss will be, we will be able to see it here. Ok? From here you can see how much profit you made and how much loss you incurred. And from here you can also withdraw your money to the bank.
Ok? So friends, in this way you can trade in Delta Exchange app. You you can trade in Delta Exchange app. You
