[0:22] time part
[0:23] having a ceramic coating applied to your
[0:25] vehicle either whether you are
[0:27] purchasing it from a professional and
[0:29] having them apply
[0:30] it or whether you are doing the diy
[0:32] method and applying it yourself
[0:34] is going to save you a lot of time in
[0:37] the long term
[0:38] why because you're not going to be
[0:41] waxing the vehicle you're not going to
[0:44] be
[0:44] taking it to the detailer as often
[0:46] because if you're having someone else
[0:48] detail and take care of your vehicle
[0:50] because
[0:51] it's got a protective coating on it it's
[0:53] easier to clean it's more chemical
[0:55] resistant
[0:56] and it's going to preserve the gloss
[0:58] much better so you're not going to need
[1:00] the aesthetic touch-ups as often
[1:03] whenever you have that ceramic coating
[1:05] applied
[1:06] let's say you're a diy-er and you decide
[1:09] to do a ceramic coating yourself
[1:11] okay there is the initial investment of
[1:14] time and resources to not only purchase
[1:17] the coatings for all the tools and pads
[1:19] and all that stuff that you're going to
[1:20] need
[1:21] to properly apply the coating but you
[1:22] also as i've said before in other videos
[1:24] to need to do some research
[1:26] and really find out how the coatings are
[1:28] properly applied
[1:29] so that you do a good job and you get
[1:31] the best bond possible therefore the
[1:33] best durability possible out of the
[1:34] coating
[1:36] once you do that however the work is
[1:38] done the coating is on the car
[1:40] the car looks great and you are going to
[1:42] spend significantly
[1:44] less time taking care of the vehicle now
[1:46] that you have the coating on it
[1:48] in fact when it comes to my actual
[1:50] newers there's my
[1:52] clients that purchase coatings from me
[1:54] that is the
[1:55] number one compliment that i get
[1:58] about ceramic coatings after the fact is
[2:00] that it saves me
[2:02] so much time i've got a full-size pickup
[2:04] truck
[2:05] and now that i have a ceramic coating
[2:08] applied on it i'm
[2:09] getting the whole thing washed and dried
[2:12] in 30
[2:12] 45 minutes and it was taken me hours out
[2:15] there
[2:16] on a saturday afternoon to get this
[2:18] truck clean
[2:19] because the coating has so much ease of
[2:22] cleaning
[2:22] benefits so if you look at that alone
[2:25] if your time is valuable to you and
[2:28] you're wanting to save
[2:29] time taking care of your vehicle just in
[2:32] that realm
[2:33] ceramic coatings are well worth it one
[2:35] of the first things that i did when i
[2:37] purchased my new
[2:38] hyundai palisade last year was bring it
[2:41] in the shop
[2:42] and ceramic coated and since then the
[2:44] vehicle has
[2:46] 18 000 almost 19 000 miles on it in a
[2:48] little over a year
[2:49] we put a lot of miles on it i use it for
[2:51] some business use and
[2:53] test products and when i go on business
[2:55] trips and stuff like that
[2:56] i use the car a lot we put a lot of
[2:58] miles on it
[2:59] and the only thing i've ever done to the
[3:01] thing since ceramic coating it
[3:03] is wash it and dry it well and it still
[3:06] looks
[3:07] very very similar other than a few
[3:10] unstoppable rock chips
[3:12] it looks very very similar to what it
[3:14] did whenever i pulled it right off the
[3:16] car lot
[3:17] so the other side of is a ceramic
[3:20] coating
[3:21] worth it is do you see your vehicle as a
[3:24] an investment to me whenever we
[3:27] purchased
[3:27] that vehicle it was around a forty
[3:29] thousand dollar suv which is
[3:31] not a lot to some people and it's a ton
[3:33] of money to others but it was the most
[3:35] expensive vehicle that i'd ever bought
[3:37] and i said i want to have the best
[3:39] protection possible on this thing
[3:41] because
[3:41] i plan on owning this easily five plus
[3:44] years
[3:44] i saw the vehicle as an investment so
[3:47] although i didn't have the
[3:50] the overall sticker price of a ceramic
[3:52] coating i still had to give
[3:53] my time towards applying it prepping it
[3:56] purchasing the products putting the
[3:58] products on it
[3:59] so if i look at it in that realm i saw
[4:01] the vehicle as an investment and i
[4:03] wanted to protect that investment make
[4:04] it easier to clean
[4:06] easier to take care of and in those
[4:08] realms the ceramic coating has blown
[4:10] my expectations away i can never drive a
[4:13] vehicle without one now so
[4:16] just in those rounds there's a lot of
[4:19] detailers that will talk about
[4:20] swirl mark resistance and chemical
[4:22] resistance all that stuff is good and
[4:24] fine and dandy
[4:25] but saving you time and protecting your
[4:28] investment and making it easier to own
[4:31] that's when ceramic coatings are really
[4:33] worth it all the other stuff
[4:35] is a fringe benefit or it's greatly
[4:37] oversold
[4:38] by a lot of people but if you're looking
[4:40] for ease of cleaning
[4:42] and protection for your investment in
[4:44] that realm
[4:45] paying anywhere from 500 to a couple
[4:48] thousand dollars for a ceramic coating
[4:50] is well worth it if you value the
[4:53] vehicle
[4:53] that you have purchased or the vehicle
[4:55] that you already own
