[00:00] This right here is the greatest viral food hack I've ever tried in my life. So in my last video, I tested out five of the most viral air fryer videos on the internet, and this rice paper, bacon, egg, and cheese hack from Chef Out West was by far the best. [00:13] That might be a 10 out of 10. But there was one small issue. To get a full bagel size, you have to overlap three rice papers dipped in egg, which can be a bit challenging to stuff up and roll. Oh yeah, that is not easy. [00:26] But I had an idea to make it a little bit easier. So I rendered up some bacon bits and I used the bacon fat to scramble up the eggs, making sure to pull them just a bit undercooked because they'll cook more in the air fryer. I scrambled up some more eggs on a plate and I dipped my rice paper in on both sides, [00:40] removing any excess egg. To the rice paper, I added some cheddar cheese, popped on some eggs, sprinkled on some bacon bits and a little bit more cheese, and gave it a tight roll up and no need to fold in the sides because you just curl them up into a nice little package and that end piece should seal up nicely. [00:55] Finally, I sprinkled on some homemade everything bagel spice and I had my mini bagels. These get air fried at 370 degrees for 10 minutes until they are golden brown and crispy. And I found since they're pretty small, there's no need to flip them. [01:07] So if you're intimidated by the bigger version, these mini bagels, I was shocked the first time I tried that. It's so crispy. It's like 80% filling and just tastes like an incredible bacon and cheese. [01:19] Love it.
