I wouldn't get an Escalade IQ if it was the last car available. And this will be 80 grand cheaper? 30. Hyundai slash Genesis is coming out swinging. You got the GLS Maybach. You got all these cool luxury SUVs.
I feel like Genesis has done a good job on styling. They're really going for it here. It's obviously not all of them are going to have this level of ridiculousness, but the coach doors, suicide doors, as we like to call them. It has swiveling front seats, a refrigerator, privacy blinds, and heated real wood flooring.
There's two versions of the GV90. There's the regular version that has six or seven seats. I think it's six seats. Normal doors. It's like a large luxury EV SUV. And then there's the Nio one edition, which has these coach doors, which they're incredibly proud of.
Is that the politically correct term now? It's coach doors? I think rear hinged doors. Rear hinged doors. This thing looks pretty legit. If they undercut the Maybach or Range Rovers or what have you, or even are comparable in price. They will. This car is exciting.
Genesis is really trying to go after luxury brands. One of the things I've realized is that the really high-end luxury SUVs for each brand is sort of their opportunity to do something. It used to be like maybe a sports car or maybe a sedan, but now it's like the full-size Range Rover, the Lincoln Navigator, which has a screen that's 10 times larger than even this.
That's their opportunity to like really go crazy. I'm pumped for this thing. It also goes to your theory of now that EVs are kind of ubiquitous and all the stats are kind of the same, you need the gimmicks to differentiate. Door gimmicks. We got seating gimmicks.
We got swivels. We got wood flooring. like they're going big on gimmicks.
