YouTube is updating the video player on the mobile watch page to provide a cleaner, less cluttered viewing experience for everyone. I'm Rene Ritchie, a long-time creator now working inside YouTube, and here's what's up. First, like, dislike, share, and ask are getting, in my opinion, super sleek new icons. Next, the like count is moving from the like button to below the video title next to the channel name. And the old horizontal scrolling list of action buttons is being replaced with a simple three- dot menu button with options to save, download, and report a video.
