## Summary

A YouTube creator discusses a newly leaked YouTube feature that will allow creators to see audience retention data segmented by subscriber vs. non-subscriber, new vs. returning viewers, and paid vs. organic traffic. The feature is currently being rolled out and was spotted by Mario Juice, a credible creator coach. The video explains how to access it and why it's a game-changer for content strategy.

### Key Points

- **Leak announcement** [00:01] — A new YouTube feature was leaked by Mario Juice on X, a credible creator coach who has worked with MrBeast and other large channels. The creator verified it on his own account.
- **Audience retention report** [00:42] — The audience retention report is a second-by-second graph showing how viewers respond to content, used to improve videos over time.
- **New feature details** [01:08] — The new feature will allow creators to see how subscribers vs. non-subscribers, new vs. returning viewers, and paid vs. organic traffic respond to videos. The paid vs. organic option already existed.
- **Importance for new audiences** [02:04] — Creators can now understand why videos may die after initial success: possibly because non-subscribers or new viewers don't respond well. This helps tailor content to push into new audiences.
- **How to access** [02:45] — To access, go to a video, scroll to the retention chart, click 'See more', and look for the new segmentation options.

### Conclusion

This new YouTube feature is a game-changer for creators, providing granular insights into audience behavior that can inform content strategy and growth.

## Transcript

change everything just got leaked normally I wouldn't make a video if I hadn't seen it in an account that I have access to if I didn't see it in there myself but the person that just shared this out on X is extremely credible his
name is Mario juice I believe is how you say it I apologize Mario if I got that incorrect but he trains content creators to work with teams he's also worked with people like Mr Beast and other really large YouTube channels he's a credible
working on a video I sat down here at my computer going to kind of kill some time here take a little bit of a break hop on X and I saw this post he just posted this two hours ago so here's the thing so on
called an audience retention report that audience retention report if this is new to you is a second byc graph that tells us exactly how people respond to our content which is great it's how we learn to make better videos how we learn to
see how the people that are responding to our content like how are they actually responding to it so we can improve things over time but now all of that is completely changing as long as they roll
this feature out to everybody so right now um this is something that since he tested he said that he didn't see this on any channels I went through a handful on any there I just wanted to make this video to share it with you to find out
if you have it but now we are going to have the option to see how everybody going to have the option to see how subscribers and nonsubscribers responded to our audience or responded to our
videos we're going to have the option to see how new and returning viewers responded to our videos and if you're somebody that uses paid traffic in any how people responded on the paid end versus just the organic end that
particular one has been around but the thing that I'm most excited about is the subscribers and non-subscribers and the new and returning viewers and here's why this is important when we're publishing videos to our YouTube channels we have
content that's never seen it before and if we want to push more in new audiences then we got to make sure that the videos that we're publishing is something that have a video that takes off right when you publish the video and then it ends
up dying well what could be happening is that as it gets into people that are not regular basis when it gets into that group of people maybe they're not responding to it so in the past we weren't able to differentiate between
this we're going to be able to get into the fine details of exactly how people are responding to everything it is that we're doing this is humongous to see if according to Mario what you have to do is you need to head to one of your
videos scroll down to the retention chart click on the see more button and you want to look for is you want to look for this part right here that says it then you can start going through your videos and figuring out about how these
responding to your content this is a game changer for all content creators want to stay up to date when things like this happen make sure you subscribe and that you can check out that will help you with your YouTube channel go ahead
and click into that now it's my most recent videos thanks for watching I'll recent videos thanks for watching I'll see you in the next video
