# How to Build a Strong Meta Ad from the First Time

> Source: [How to Build a Strong Meta Ad from the First Time](https://youtube.com/watch?v=q_-HDpB_47A)

## Summary

This video provides a structured framework for creating effective Meta (Facebook) ads, emphasizing the importance of a strong hook, value-driven follow-through, and a clear call to action. The creator introduces a method of creating multiple variations of each ad component to test and identify the most effective combination.

### Key Points

- **Ad Structure** [00:02] — Every ad must be built in a specific order: first, the first three seconds (or main image for image ads) must impress the customer (the hook). Second, the follow-through must provide value. Third, the call to action (e.g., 'Buy, try, record') concludes the ad.
- **Variation Method** [00:31] — Create three versions of the hook, three versions of the follow-through, and three versions of the call to action. This allows for nine different ad combinations.
- **Combination Strategy** [01:03] — Combine hook #1 with follow #1 and CTA #1 to create an ad, then hook #1 with follow #2 and CTA #2, and so on. This systematic approach generates nine distinct ad variations.
- **Testing and Optimization** [01:20] — Run these nine ad versions for a week. The strongest version will clearly emerge, and you should continue with that winning combination.

### Conclusion

The video presents a practical, systematic method for ad creation and testing, enabling advertisers to optimize their Meta ads by identifying the most effective combination of hook, follow-through, and call to action.

## Transcript

Interference Ads, and every ad you create must be built in this order: First, the first three seconds of your ad must impress the customer. If it's a video ad, that's
your hook. If it's an image ad, the title on the image or the main image within your ad is the hook. Second, there must be value in the follow-through. The follow-through is the second part of your ad, so you must focus on the value your product or service offers within the ad's content. Third, there's the call to action, which is at the
end of the video or image: "Buy, try, record." All of this is called a call to action. Now, use the method I'm about to tell you about. This will be a game-changer and will achieve CPI you never thought possible for any offer you have. Create three versions of the hook, three
of the follow-through, and three of the call to action. So, if you're creating a video ad, you'll create three different video clips, each with a different hook concept. The same applies to follow and call to action. Then, take hook number one with follow number
one and call to action number one and create an ad from them. Then, take hook number one with follow number two and call to action number two and create another ad from them, and so on. This way, you can create another ad from them, and so on. This way, you can
can just use nine. Run these versions of the ads for a week, and the strongest version of your ads will clearly appear. These are the versions you will continue with. Click on the related video icon here in the video to watch the full video.
