> Source: [Faithful Sheriff Hits a New Low](https://youtube.com/watch?v=b3B36z3YI_w)

## Summary

This video discusses a YouTuber known as the Faithful Sheriff, who allegedly abuses YouTube's copyright strike system against another creator, ConnorEatsPants, after Connor reacted to a short clip from the Sheriff's livestream. The video details the exchange, highlights the Sheriff's unapologetic behavior, and criticizes YouTube's handling of such abuse.

### Key Points

- **Introduction to the Faithful Sheriff** [00:00] — The creator introduces the Faithful Sheriff, a YouTuber who rebranded from Dr. Witnesser, and describes him as a 'freak' who copies Burton Peanut's style. He is known for entering Fortnite public lobbies to lecture children, often on political topics rather than Christianity.
- **Copyright Strike Incident** [03:06] — ConnorEatsPants received a copyright strike from the Faithful Sheriff after reacting to a two-minute clip from a livestream. Connor asked for a retraction, but the Sheriff refused, saying 'why would I retract it?' with a laughing emoji.
- **False Claims About YouTube** [04:11] — The Sheriff claimed YouTube flagged the video, but Connor clarified it was a manual claim. The Sheriff later admitted he signed off on it, contradicting his earlier statement. The creator notes this is a clear case of copyright abuse.
- **Past Controversies** [05:42] — The video recalls a previous scandal where the Sheriff allegedly commissioned an avatar with a penis, though the creator doubts it happened. The Sheriff also reportedly told a child he was going to hell, highlighting his combative behavior with minors.
- **Community Note and Process** [07:25] — A community note explains that YouTube does not independently flag content; claims come from owner reference files or manual actions. The creator shows the manual removal process, proving the Sheriff's claim was false.
- **Call for Action** [09:04] — The creator argues the Sheriff should face legal action and a channel ban, but notes YouTube rarely punishes copyright abusers. The victim has little recourse without legal action, and the Sheriff openly admitted to abuse without consequences.

### Conclusion

The video condemns the Faithful Sheriff's abuse of YouTube's copyright system and highlights the platform's failure to enforce penalties, leaving creators with limited options. It serves as a call for better accountability on YouTube.

## Transcript

When I tell you I've been giggling, I mean hee-hee-ha-has. It involves a clown that I haven't heard of in quite a while, someone that I've only loosely paid attention to over the course of, like, five years,
the Faithful Sheriff. What he's doing isn't humorous. He's abusing YouTube's copyright system against someone he doesn't like, which is always a big no-no. That one's always two thumbs way down there.
the faithful sheriff is a freak who used to go by a different name online but then rebranded into the faithful sheriff in recent times to try and hop aboard the coattails of burton peanut to
hopefully get a couple stragglers that get confused on which one's peanut because he copied the entire thing like bar for bar and everything it's just really pathetic his previous name though is one that you might recall this might send you on a winter soldier moment here just
short-circuiting, Dr. Witnesser. And he still does the same thing, but his shtick was and still is, he goes into fortnight public lobbies in order to find children,
so that way he can talk to them over the mic and lecture them. He pretends to be doing it over, he pretends that the mission is to preach the gospel of Christ and talk about Christianity, but that's not really what he does.
That's just a convenient smokescreen. the vast majority of what he does is go for like politically charged things that he talks to with these kids in really weird ways by the way like he gets so fucking odd just talking to kids on
fortnite that's his whole life if he is like this heat-seeking missile looking for anyone that's like 10 years old or less on fortnite oh yeah he's also got a fart fetish by the way so his peanut
that avatar perpetual flatulence. That's, like, a big thing for him. He is a degenerate weirdo. Fortnite pub lobbies dropping off the battle bus like this miasma of creepiness, just looking
for children to talk to them about a variety of, like, political things. Very rarely is he ever even saying anything about, like, Christianity himself anymore. It's always, like, political shit
now. But even back when he was doctor and witnesser to all kinds of other things. Like, he told a child he was going to hell, by the way. Like, it's so fucking weird. And the whole concept of him just looking for kids on Fortnite
should be alarming to anyone. Again, most of the conversations weren even about like the teachings of Christ or anything like that A lot of them were just generally odd and off and just uncomfortable to listen to with the way he interacts with
children. There's a huge difference between, like, you being so passionate about the faith that you do want to talk about it with others. I never really have a problem with that as long as there's, like, a respectful conversation there that someone actually wants to have with you instead of forcing
it upon them in something like a fucking video game where you're just trying to queue up and get some W's. What he does is so drastically different. He tries to hide behind this shield of ah, people attack me because of my Christianity.
No. It's because you're being weird. A YouTuber, ConnorEatsPants replies and says, hey, the faithful sheriff, I just got a copyright strike from a claim from you? Must have been a mistake. Could you retract this when you get the chance? Thanks, man. So he shows the removal
details, and this is an official strike now, where this was clearly from a livestream that Connor was doing. Now, apparently in that livestream, he had reacted to two minutes, yes, two minutes out of an over hour plus live stream of the
fateful sheriff's video. He can submit a counter notification or a contact appointment, but he's choosing to contact him on Twitter. So he's straight up just asking the other YouTuber, hey, could you just retract this? And then the fateful sheriff replies and says, why would I retract it? With a laughing emoji.
Abusing the strike system on YouTube is always a huge issue. And most people try and like pretend that they weren't doing it, but not him. He just unapologetically, shamelessly talking about like abusing the strike system because he didn't like what connor was
saying when reacting to his video convincing a kid to work for ice clipping the original mod is being reacted to and is entirely transformative the definition of fair use people share replies
and says it looks like youtube didn't agree and this is where things take a really weird turn connor said it was a manual claim not from youtube i think one of those that pops up in the dashboard You'd have to have approved it, I'm pretty sure.
I would appreciate fixing when you get the chance. The shardy sheriff is such an insufferable douchebag, man. It is unbearable. So he tries to make it seem like it was YouTube that was doing this.
Like, oh, YouTube, they didn't agree. They thought that what you did was very bad, actually. And everyone knows how this works at this point, so he couldn't really slide away with that garbage.
But he also didn't even really care to. He wasn't even putting on any kind of mask or anything. He was just gloating about it. That's, like, the whole thing. Which again abusing the strike system is supposed to result in a harsh punishment for the abusing party there So he puts a gif and he says how about no The counter replies and says what your deal man I been trying to be cordial but abusing YouTube copyright striking system on other creators is pretty nasty I don want to be rude but this is not what I or any of your fans would
want or expect from you. So then the faithful sheriff says, hey, buddy, YouTube themselves found it and flagged it. No, that's not what happened. I merely signed off on it. You don't like it or you think it's not legit when you should be able to appeal it. No, this is the
last time I'm responding about it, stop your whining and crying to me about it. Goodness gracious, he's such an asshole. It's unreal. And he always has been. Like, even when talking to kids, he is just a piece of shit.
Like, he's, like, mean a lot of times, like, directly to them, and combative, argumentative with children. It's so, so weird. And it's such tough talk from a guy who allegedly commissioned a penis to be put onto his
avatar. This was a story a few months back where Super Mega was claiming that the faithful sheriff had asked them to draw his avatar with a penis on it. That is deplorable.
I don't know if that's true or not, if he really did reach out to them to put that on there, but if he did, man, that is sickening stuff. The penis sheriff, bro. I don't know what came over him there.
Maybe he was drunk and wasn't thinking straight. I don't really know, but that was something that I still think about from time to time, just a really peculiar thing to be asking of someone, and the uncensored image is
just haunting. I had to turn my head away the first time I saw it. Just cocking balls on a cowboy peanut? Who thinks of something like that? A wiener on that is just unthinkable. That's just
heinous. So I hope this is all just a big joke from Super Mega here. I shudder to imagine him actually commissioning something like that, something as gross and unacceptable as that.
Personally, I think it's probably just a big old goof here about it. I don't think he actually commissioned it, but it does make you think, what if he did? Like, is it possible? I suppose.
I know he was tinkering around with the notion of suing them for defamation. I don't know if he ever actually pulled the trigger on that lawsuit or anything. I haven't heard any updates, but yeah. That scandal was something I still think about.
Just a revolting set of circumstances. I hope he didn't actually commission that and ask them to draw that for him. So the guy is just a douchebag. He got community noted and said, YouTube does not independently find or flag content for claims Claims result from matches against owner reference files or manual actions by copyright owners who set policies and decide on deductions Uber they will go ahead and claim somebody else
video automatically, but that would not result in a strike unless you are the one filing the strike. So from here, I have a few options. I can either archive the video for later, request video removal, contact the channel, or visit their
channel. Now when I request a removal, this is something that I actually have to do myself. Deep Humor then goes on to show what the entire process looks like there to showcase once and for all faithful sheriff is being very bad faith here. He is not actually representing the
truth in any way, shape, or form, and he doesn't care. He doesn't mind lying, even though that is a sin. He doesn't mind dabbling in there a little bit. He is just outright being dishonest about
what happened here, saying that YouTube flagged it and it looks like YouTube decided that it was, you know, against the rules and stuff, even though it is him. He is the one that did all that. It is manual. You have to manually do those things. As the humor showcased, there
is a board there that can let you know if there's, like, some of your content used somewhere, like, to what extent, and then you have options on your end if you want to do something about it. Faithful Sheriff went way out of his way to do something, to be a piece of shit. This is a
false copyright strike, and the Faithful Sheriff should actually face legal action for this. YouTube should also ban this guy's channel, because again, this is a very clearly open and shut case of copyright abuse, but as we read over a million times on this channel, YouTube tends to
not ban people who abuse their copyright system. He starts celebrating it, and like DeFumer mentions, this is a big problem. This is what usually should result in, like, a legal issue now, to be abusing the system like that.
And it's supposed to carry a harsh penalty, like having your channel banned if you're abusing the system, but YouTube's very lax with that. They haven't really done that in a very long time. Meanwhile, the victim of the copyright strike abuse has very little recourse outside of taking it to a legal dispute where you have to dock yourself to the claimant.
It's very, very silly, and this is him openly admitting to copyright abuse and still nothing as of right now. Anyway, pretty deplorable behavior from the faithful sheriff here.
That's really about it. See ya.
