&gt;&gt; And you started out as a surgeon. You've done over 30,000 procedures, and now you're in regenerative medicine field. &gt;&gt; I started while I was still practicing. The whole what has driven me all my
years of practice was to mitigate amputations. &gt;&gt; Oh, wow. &gt;&gt; Diabetic wounds, trauma wounds, and it's always heartbreaking to talk to people and say, "I'm sorry, I don't have any
Right? &gt;&gt; found the tools to help them. &gt;&gt; And that's that's been my journey is trying to improve patient outcomes. &gt;&gt; That's amazing, and what led you to placentas?
&gt;&gt; That's a good story. I was practicing in Arizona. I was also teaching at Midwestern Medical School. And one of the projects I gave to the students was look at look at old therapies that have gone out
look at old therapies that have gone out of out of vogue, and tell me why. So that they could learn about where medicine is has been and where it was going. And one of my students brought placental
tissue to to attention, and it was fascinating. 1905, um Sabella and Davis, two physicians, had documented 500 cases of using placental tissue to heal a wide spectrum of
&gt;&gt; And so that's what started this whole adventure. &gt;&gt; So I've been blessed with growing three placentas in my body. &gt;&gt; And there is in the holistic world, there is
there is in the holistic world, there is a lot of hype and controversy in regards to placenta. One that, you know, a woman now will encapsulate their placenta, dry it, encapsulate it, consume it. And then there's also this on the medical side,
placenta is kind of like your liver for the baby, waste. How do you What are your thoughts on &gt;&gt; I'm not sure how much is actually benefiting. Psychologically, probably
quite a bit. Um but your stomach acid is probably destroying most of those better, God bless. &gt;&gt; Mhm. &gt;&gt; Um as far as the function of the
placenta, the placental membrane, the placental sac, uh they have incredible number of functions. So protecting the baby, providing the proper environment, uh antimicrobial environment. You're
&gt;&gt; Mhm. &gt;&gt; 24/7 for 9 months. Well, how are you doing that? Well, what's creating that baby, those stem cells, those exosomes, are also feeding you to allow your heart to function at a higher rate 24/7. So
it's it's a biofeedback loop, I think, is probably the best way to describe the functions of the placenta, the placental membrane, the amniotic fluid, the umbilical cord. It's all all integrated with with in in in with your
&gt;&gt; For our listeners who don't necessarily know what regenerative medicine is, can you go back a step and explain what regenerative medicine is, what exosomes are, what miRNA is, um and how your technology kind of
&gt;&gt; All right. Well, first I have to give the details to the FDA uh that I'm not making any marketing claims. I'm not selling anything. Uh that we are working with FDA to bring
these uh therapies across the finish line of getting a biologics license. So, knows uh though in three states uh it has now been approved on a state level. Uh Florida, of course, where
where we are. Uh Utah and Wyoming are allowing these therapies to be used for for uh physicians to use on their patients. Now, to answer your question, um there are several different factors. So,
we have the growth factors. And what we find is approximately 1,500 different growth factors. There are several hundred and possibly more, we're still learning, microRNA. You mentioned messenger RNA and peptides. So, those
sections [snorts] of a symphonic orchestra that allows us of a symphonic orchestra that allows us to or allows your body to heal itself. And we're just upregulating all of those functions. So, when we One
of the beauties of the substance that we're putting together is there's no immunogenicity. What does that mean? If you have a heart transplant or whatever, you have to be on immunosuppressants because it's
other. It's someone else in your body. &gt;&gt; doesn't recognize it as its own. &gt;&gt; doesn't recognize it as its own. &gt;&gt; Right. With these placental tissues, there is no immunogenicity. You're We're able to use it on any basically any
able to use it on any basically any mammal. So, horses, dogs, cats, but of course we want to keep the veterinary side separate from the human side. So, we have these we have these sections of the symphonic orchestra and
just like a symphonic orchestra you have different pieces that have to come together to create a specific harmony, a recipe I call it. So, we need specific family of growth factors with a specific family of micro RNAs, with a specific
family of messenger RNAs, and they come together and let's say where we want to get repair a torn tendon or a rotator cuff. So, we're going to have that specific recipe come together to help that tendon, the tenocytes, the tendon
that tendon, the tenocytes, the tendon cells to regenerate and form normal But the same is for your organ systems, for your kidney, for your liver, for your heart, for your brain. They all have different recipes for each of their
cell types. Your body is signaling, "Hey, I have an injury here." And that cargo comes and then that sets up the whole reconstruction phase, if you will. repairing and &gt;&gt; these these
proteins are all up regulating your own body to heal itself. &gt;&gt; Healing takes a long time. What is your expectation for your patients to see healing? And how do you know that healing is
&gt;&gt; That's excellent question. It depends on what we're treating. Um so, let's take &gt;&gt; Mhm. &gt;&gt; Uh so, how do we know? Well, their arm Um what's harder is when we're looking at
neurodegenerative diseases, right? The dementia, autism, things like that. And that that still needs a little more work to be able to set up what are the benchmarks. How how is the patient uh responding? So, what we typically have
done when it was before the FDA put the rules on having a a biological license is we would talk with the patient and say for autism if with the patient and say for autism if if the child was not speaking verbal.
&gt;&gt; Well, if they became verbal, we knew we were successful. But, it's a little more difficult with central nervous than it is for an orthopedic issue or a wound. So, a wound typically could take months or years to heal and we see when we use
these type of technologies again not making any claims FDA. We see that the wound will heal almost 100 times faster than standard &gt;&gt; That's amazing. That must feel such like such good work to do.
&gt;&gt; That's that's how this evolved cuz it was almost close to a miracle in experienced. &gt;&gt; Something that I do in my own practice is build collagen, help clients build collagen. It's important for me to build
different supplements that I take in my daily routine. How does your technology help to build collagen without using filler and Botox and toxins and things
that I don't want to do and I don't do. &gt;&gt; No, that's a very very good. Yes. So, beautiful skin, but let's say you had some fine If you microneedle &gt;&gt; Mhm.
&gt;&gt; the tissue, that's going to stimulate collagen production. But, now if you add collagen production. But, now if you add in the exosomes, which are these small cargo that the cells are producing, you paint them on,
you will see that your dermatocytes, your skin cells, keratinocytes will produce more collagen, give you the more robust appearance to the skin. microneedling. &gt;&gt; That is correct. So, it'll operate the
same and I'm not a good example, but to regrow hair. Same thing it'll stimulate the follicles. It'll stimulate angiogenesis new blood vessel formation so that the follicles
&gt;&gt; That's beautiful. &gt;&gt; Yes. Again, not making any claims FDA. &gt;&gt; One one thing that people should know is it's not a one shot and done, right? What we want is patients to be worked up. Like you're a
nutritionist. We want to know what is their microbiome look like because this is very critical. They may be eating the wrong foods or they're not absorbing the right minerals, supplements, etc. &gt;&gt; So do you inject for helping the
&gt;&gt; if you're going to be using regenerative therapies, you want to look at the whole patient, understand the patient's needs because it's not just you just can't throw these things at a patient and oh, voila, they're better, right? You need
all the issues. Let's say for the wounds, the diabetic wounds, we have to control their glucose. We have to improve their insulin control. These are all parts. That alone is not going to do, but now
we add good metabolic control with the with the regenerative therapy, now we have we have an improved patient outcome at &gt;&gt; Where do you think regenerative medicine would be in 10 years? What you're doing
right now is amazing. I think you're a pioneer in the space. Where do you think in 10 years we'll see this space evolve? &gt;&gt; Well, I'm I'm praying and and hopefully &gt;&gt; Well, I'm I'm praying and and hopefully we have sufficient funding to take these
take what we are are all of our work for the last 20 years and bring it across finally across the finish line with the FDA and be able to get these biologics licensed so they become mainstream medicine.
And of course, we have to collect the data to support that. One of the things we're doing in Florida, is we've we've gotten investigational review board approval to do an observational study for everybody who
receives our products in Florida. They will be if they consent, they'll be enrolled in our study and the physician is administering will enter all of their data HIPAA protected, you know, everything's protected. But
then the the app will ping the patient at 24 hours after treatment, 48 hours after treatment, then at weekly, monthly intervals. So we get a full response, how are you doing? Are you achieving your goals? So we are
we hopefully all goes well, we'll in the next few months have data next few months have data to show FDA that hey, this is safe. success. &gt;&gt; Thank you.
