What are some ways that they could [music] maybe flag >> I call it like a little bit of brand flirting. Like I think you can start to [00:47] incorporate brands that you want to work with into your content before you even For two reasons. One, it warms up your audience to that brand, but then also evidence. You're like, "This is how I could incorporate it." Here's examples. [01:01] Give them everything. [music] Data, insight, comments, who your package. >> Channel insights is incredibly useful deals. I actually have a fact here. On average, creators who share channel [01:15] insights received over two times more brand inquiries through Google's creator search tools compared to creators who didn't. It really is as simple as just really increase your chances. >> But I also think in that outbound pitch, [01:29] >> Yes. >> Yes, I will break it down. Media kits, I'm on that. [01:44] it's kind of a one-pager about you and your channel. It has all the information that brands find very useful. It has your demographic, how many views you're getting, how long people are watching for, lots of interesting stuff. What's [01:58] Partnerships, they will generate one of these media kits for you. It might not be then, but [02:46] your name is on their radar. >> And when you're doing these cold pitches, what are you putting in them to make you stand out above all the rest of the competition? >> It will be a deck, my series, examples [02:59] of where brands have activated within that series. I think that kind of cuts through. Everyone who works in brands, agencies, they're so busy all the time. >> Cut the waffle. >> Exactly. This is a lot of pressure. Okay, scenario number one. You get the following email. Hi Morfo, we'd love to offer you a big bucks deal to promote our new AI crypto hydration patch. Sign the NDA in the next 45 [03:44] minutes and we can get started. Do you think that's fake or your big break? >> I think it's fake. >> Correct. This is not your big break, It >> Has that happened to you? >> More times than I would like to mention. [03:57] Okay, number two. Hi Morph, we love your content and think you'd be perfect for our premium hedge trimming subscription. Are you interested? me. >> Correct. Absolutely real brand, but not [04:09] quite your audience. But you of course would take a hedge trimmer though. I always would. Now, number three. Hi Morph, we love your street interviews and want to partner on a student mobile campaign about how people actually use [04:21] data and money on their phones. We've got budget and timing all included. Fake >> Ding, ding, ding. Absolutely right. >> wouldn't deliver. >> It's clear, there's clear fit, clear brief, but also you got to be thinking, [04:33] I'm promoting this to my audience. Do they want to know about this? brand partner, what can you do to really stand out from [music] the pack? [04:47] extraordinaire, Jessica Joseph, to find out. Jess, YouTube is obviously a multi-format platform, a multi-screen platform. How can creators use that to their advantage when they're pitching [05:01] >> As a creator, you're always thinking about new ways to elevate your content different. You could break it down into like a package offer for for the brand. easy entry into working with a brand partner. And then you could start adding [05:15] your additional YouTube deliverables. And I think the YouTube multi-screen feature specifically is exciting cuz it actually allowing you a way to increase your reach and increase your views. As a brand, obviously anything that is adding [05:29] benefit. That is what they're looking for and that's what's going to set you for and that's what's going to set you guys apart. But the reality is it's like these >> Yeah. >> It's fine. >> It's fine. We've all been there. >> Cheers to that. [06:23] science bit. So, where do you begin? get found. Make yourself discoverable. How do you do that? Well, turn on channel insights [06:36] That lets brands who are browsing Creator Partnerships see more of your insights, your data, your analytics, which therefore means they [music] might consider you for some brand deals. If it's turned on, brands are more likely [06:48] It takes about 30 seconds and it's probably the highest impact [music] setting you can turn on. Also, make sure your business email is the easier that you are to find, the more likely you will get a brand deal. [07:02] >> Second, don't just sit there waiting to be discovered. Download your media kit and actually use it. If there are brands that already make sense for your niche, send them a short personalized pitch with your media kit attached. [07:15] are already advertising to your audience. They're warm leads cuz they're already spending money to reach people like your >> And third, check your partnerships tab in Studio regularly, not just your [07:28] Brands move fast and slow replies can mean missed opportunities. Even just a quick response can make you look professional, buys you time, and look professional, buys you time, and keeps the conversation alive.
