Celebrities and athletes have come to this basement to experience the ultimate man cave experience. That way they can take inspiration for their own. This is game room theater. It's full of lights, TVs, projectors, games, and really smart
technology powering everything. And of course, it's all automated. And it's going to shock you how easy it is to get some of this stuff up and running. Let me show you around. You know how when you go to a stadium to
watch your favorite sports team play and it's exciting and a little chaotic? Well, Game Room Theater wants it to feel kind of like that while you're in here. It's so awesome and definitely an experience. Like this F1 racing
simulator that was actually at an F1 race and casually a F1 driver signed the back. Yeah, no big deal. Arcade games with some classics like NBA Jam. Love
this game. Terminator 2: Judgement Day. Oh yeah. Projector on the Ceiling and Smart Ceiling Lights. Putting green. A claw machine, which my kids would go nuts if we had this in our house. Another racing simulator. and a flight
simulator. Yes, this house has it all. And a really spacious movie theater with six movie theater seats, digital movie posters, and some massive speakers behind an acoustically transparent screen. And we're not done yet. Up above
the store, a sports ticker with stats because why not. A pinball machine with some smart lights in the background. And basically the entire room is covered in and you're going to see what those can do which are pretty sweet. We got a
holographic fan here as well as a smart coffee table that can connect to Bluetooth, has speakers on it, can charge your phone as well as a refrigerator inside to cool your drinks. So, they're right there. You can just
grab one. Amazing. And we have a big huge TV to watch games on. But bigger is always better. Check this out. A projector screen lifts up and the
projector, the short throw projector slides out automatically. How cool is that? And the cherry on top is this mini jumbotron right here. So
cool looking. It has the stats for the game that's being played right now. Kansas City verse the Chargers. I want this so bad in my house. But you might be wondering, how does he get all this stuff to work? So, let's ask Game Room
Theater himself how this all works. What I've got going on here is a web browser that opens up to the ESPN page, and it's ready to pick whatever sport you want. So, I wanted it to be easily connected with my phone. Hardware-wise, it's very
simplistic. It's just a tiny PC that's running, and I've got an HDMI splitter and four screens that are connected to it. And it's really that simple. And it would be annoying to have to set this up every single time you want to watch a
game. So, he automated it. >> You can use any TVs, but the thing is That's the key thing. That's why I use monitors, but you can get certain TVs as well that have instant on as soon as they get power. So, that way you put
it's just, you know, with your automation that comes on, it turns the PC on. In the BIOS, we've changed some things to say, you know, anytime there's power, come on. and auto login. It runs in kiosk mode and there's certain things
perspective that turn on like this little ticker that you see at the bottom cuz I wanted it to feel like you know you're at a stadium or somewhere else that's re and it really helps complete that look. There's a couple of ways to
through a wireless keyboard and mouse as you see here, but what I prefer to do is use my phone. All you need is an application called Unified Remote. So, it basically runs as a server on that tiny PC. And I've got an application
that then connects to it. And it's really simple controlling it as you can see using your touchpad on your phone as a mouse and your keyboard. >> Pretty awesome that it's just a web browser in kiosk mode, but it's
implemented so well. And of course, there's more screens in the room for >> So, as you can see right here, there's a few screens on the wall, and these function very similar to the mini jumbotron. There's just a mini PC
connected to these screens and you can put on graphics or whatever you want, a browser window for stats. And these are just some extra screens that Gameroom Theater had laying around. So instead of going to waste, you know, just repurpose
adding some screens like this to my theater room because it's not too difficult to do and it looks awesome. And this little ticker screen right up here is set up the exact same way as those other screens. There's a mini PC
right here in this closet and it's just a browser window in kiosk mode and it looks like it was made for this screen. It looks incredible. I just love how automated all these screens are with the smart outlet, the kiosk mode, the
It's super easy. All I have to do is press one button or run one automation and everything's taken care of which makes it so much easier to get it up and running because manually doing it. Yeah, that would take a while. So, as you can
see on the ceiling, there's about 30 can lights from Lumary. There's RGB colors on the outside which can be automated to change to different colors for the team that's playing or it can be warm or cool whites to light up the space like
normal. And all of this is connected with Google Home. So, there can be a voice command to turn everything on or off. But because these lights use Wi-Fi, you know, reliability can be a little iffy sometimes, as you know, with Wi-Fi
lights. Now, to enhance some of those automations and make the devices more reliable, I brought along a few devices with me. Aara is sponsoring this series of smart home tours, which I'm extremely grateful for because it can be a little
expensive, you know, traveling and all that. I brought some devices like the T1 LED strips. These use Ziggby, so they're going to be way more reliable than just Wi-Fi lights and these can connect to the Accara M3 hub. Now, you don't have
to use this hub, but this has an IR blaster in it, and you can connect Ziggby devices, like different sensors, and it's going to be a lot more reliable and work every single time, which is what you want in a smart home. And so
you can connect sensors like this FP1E, which is a millimeter wave sensor that uses Ziggp. You could use this on that racing simulator because it draws a lot of energy when it's being used. If you used just this, you would know when
someone's sitting in the simulator and you could power on that PC and so you're not just wasting energy and just having it always on. I love the FP1E. It's super accurate as well as tons of other AAR devices in my house. They're

automations that these lights just enhance the experience here. Like enhance the experience here. Like there's a little laser and it can go kind of crazy with a smoke machine for when a UFC fight is about to start. as
well as these RGB lights underneath the Mini Jumbotron. They can turn yellow automatically when you're watching an F1 race because there's an F1 lights integration that will trigger these lights to turn yellow when there's like
a crash in the F1 race and then once the crash or whatever is resolved, it'll turn green again. So, it just elevates the watch experience. It's not, you know, obviously not necessary, but it's so cool and it's like a work of art how
all the lights and everything can transform and look a certain way. Like Star Wars, a scary themes, a sports team, and my favorite, the Batman, which it looks like the Batmobile is in the room right here. So crazy. Oh, and shout
out to Matt, my father-in-law. He's a massive Chargers fan. If I had a setup like this, he would move in immediately because he would never want to leave. This is the ultimate watching experience if you love sports. So, that's the game
room section. Now, let's check out the theater room. So, just outside the theater room, we have a screen that's displaying digital movie posters. It's a script that's pulling movie posters from IMDb. So, it's just like whatever the
latest movies are. But when you start a movie, an automation runs that changes movie, an automation runs that changes the digital movie poster.
well as how much time is left on the in there and disrupt whoever's watching a movie or you'll know when they'll be done. And then when you're done watching the movie, it just goes back to
displaying movie posters like it was doing before. I was able to watch a few movie clips in here and wow, it sounded and looked amazing. Especially the seat rumblers that made it feel like you were there. The Halo jump and Mission
Impossible Fallout blew my mind. >> That's awesome. >> And watching Annabelle Creation, yeah, the Dolby Atmos speakers in the ceiling the Dolby Atmos speakers in the ceiling sounded a bit too real. It's crazy. Of
course, the digital movie posters dim when the movie starts, but there's also a temperature sensor behind one that prevents the room from getting too warm. When the temperature goes over a certain degree, it turns on a smart outlet that
controls the exhaust fan in the ceiling. Perfect. All right, it's taking all my willpower right now to be extremely envious because I want everything in here. But I want to ask Game Room Theater himself, what's his favorite

here in some of the automation. So what a pleasure. Now, getting back to your question, it's actually just this one space. If I had to lose everything else, I wouldn't worry about it at all. But this view right here of all the
craziness of the lights, the jumbotron, the statistics, the ticker, all of this makes me feel like I'm transported somewhere else. And that's what it's all about. Recreating escapes for us from a daily grind or whatever it may be. And
