Have you ever sat down with a successful person, someone who's achieved something great in their life, and asked them what made them achieve such a huge thing? They'd tell you, "
[00:15] I worked hard and persevered, but I never imagined this would happen to me." I've noticed this a lot with successful people who appear on programs and share their stories on social media. None of them ever imagined they'd
[00:27] reach where they are now. Something strange happened when I, as a young man, started thinking about and studying all these stories. I found that they all have one thing in common: they always had immense hope in God and weren't ashamed to ask Him for help. Look,
[00:41] Unfortunately, some people have a very limited understanding of God. When they pray, they ask for something simple, believing that God will give them something bigger. The question is, why don't we ask God for the impossible? One of the most beautiful articles I've read is by Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Ashmawy, titled "
[00:56] Ashmawy says that God is too kind to let His servant raise his hands in supplication and then refuse, granting him nothing he asks for. It's impossible. Now imagine that the person asking God for something is actually asking Him for stinginess! I'm sorry, but
[01:11] sometimes people pray to God as if they're praying to a human being. They say, "Oh God, oh God, I just want 100,000 pounds, and my life will be perfect!" My son, why are you praying to God like that? You're praying to the Giver of All, the One who...  With her are treasures of everything.
[01:26] Ask God for the impossible. By God, look at our master Solomon when he came to pray to God for his sustenance and his kingdom. Look at what he prayed for and said to Him.  He said, “My Lord, forgive me and grant me a kingdom such as will not belong to anyone after me. Indeed, You are the Bestower.” Our master Solomon said to his Lord, “ Grant me a kingdom such that no one after me will have
[01:42] like the kingdom I have.” Look at the story of our master Solomon. A few years ago, he was praying to God for something impossible to achieve, but glory be to God, God answered his prayer and gave him a kingdom filled with impossibilities. He subjugated the wind, mankind, jinn, birds, and everything in the world to him. Unfortunately, some people
[01:57] pray to God with stinginess, and their perception of God is the same as their perception of themselves. Some people think that humility in supplication is a sign of asceticism. By God, it doesn't work that way. When you pray, you are dealing with the Bestower, you are dealing with the One who possesses the treasures of everything, and the treasures of everything are endless. Don't be
[02:14] stingy in your supplication to God. Keep that asceticism in everything else in this world except for your asceticism in them, used to supplicate to God, they didn't supplicate  In the ordinary part of Paradise, people used to pray to God for the highest level of Paradise, which is the highest level in Heaven. So when you pray to God, ask Him
[02:28] for what's on your mind, even what you think is impossible to achieve. Because, by God, if you have faith in God and have strong hope in Him while you're praying, and you're certain that God is able to grant your wish, it will happen. And when it happens, and you tell your story, you'll say, "When I did my best
[02:42] and worked hard, I never imagined I'd reach where I am now." So from now on, make it a habit to ask God for the impossible. And as always, don't forget to share.
