## Transcript

Welcome to the Heavy Spoilers Show. I'm your host, Paul. In this video, we're breaking down House of the Dragon. Episode 4 is now out, and in this video, we're going to be recapping it all,
pointing out the Easter eggs, changes to the books, and also discussing the ending of the entry. Episode 4 shows us more of James Norton's turn as Orund, the inner workings of the Red Keep, Damon meeting Raina, and so on and so
forth. It ultimately lays the dragon seeds for a lot of things in Tumbleton and gives us a bumbling tour of the realm with Agon and Laris. >> Sometimes I think you want to fail. >> Shut up. Just shut up.
>> Also love seeing more of our future Link Darren and there's so much to go over in through it all. And if you're not subscribed, then make sure you do as we'll be covering the season right up until the finale. Also, apparently the
dislike button is broke on the video. So, if you hit it, you actually need to hit it twice in order to get it to work. Not my problem. That's YouTube. But >> Now, as always, we open with the tapestries. This week, it's updated to
show the rich merchants whispering to each other, which is something I expect episode. The rat is also placed after the crowd now, too. I did wonder if this had some specific symbolic meaning, but I think in general it just highlights
how treacherous things around the throne can be. Out of this, we then cut to a episode 1, except there we instead had a sheep. These are symbols of peace and
Both are then broken up by the minations of things in the kingdom with the sheep being killed by a dragon and the rabbit seeing Tumbleton. As we know, it was
taken by Orund and his army last week, and he distracted Renero with the fake Darren. The soldiers have taken over the entire Mitchin town and are forcibly occupying houses. In the book, some soldiers actually pretended to be
refugees and then ended Tumbleton and invaded from within. The show has changed things up here, though, as the town is being quote unquote defended by the Greens, and this is in the hopes that Rene might attack her own people.
This will make her vastly unpopular and then Orman can plant Darren on the throne. He'll then be able to control him like a sort of hidden hand and we'll have a situation like we had with Otto and Agon where usurping the usurpers. If
basically a move where she's damned if she does and damned if she doesn't. We also get the return of a familiar face that is Hugh's wife Cat who left King's
house three British high totower soldiers with the main one being that guy from the Batman. I think I don't know who that is. Paul, you you do. You do, mate. You do. It's the the guy the guy in the church. Oh yeah, of course
mate. Of course it is. Anyway, he takes a liking to Cat right away, which sets a Orund, which yeah, they end up doing. But it kind of shows how Orand is trying to seem respectable. Reminds me a lot of Gwane in episode one who was angry that
ranks and punishes those who don't act respectable and hit the thumbs up. Orman understands that he needs to keep the small folk relatively happy despite their homes being occupied. It's a heart and minds tactic that goes back to
Freedom in Iraq. I think he's deliberately ramping things up though in order to draw his enemies to him. This is a little bit like the book where Tumbleton uh after some spoilers experiences a sacking hither too undret
of the high tower banners are being erected as well and we see Ormond in the bath. It further plays in the ju position as we have a man in power then get a little hint at his dislike of Odas as when the guy steps forward he
just covers his nose. He also has a little sniff ball to the side which is something that he's huffed on throughout the episodes. Lord and Lady Fossily are also petitioning him, but Lady Sherus seems to be wearing the trousers. As we
a far worse fate as men, women, and children were murdered. So, yeah, you're getting off lightly by just sleeping on the air bed there. I'll talk about a something really bad. Orman's then dressed in a robe, but if he needed some
clothes, then he could have checked out our merch store below the video. There double-sided prints. If you get the double, it's got a little Aemon on the front and a big print of Vagar on the back. That's in green cuz they're the
greens. But if you support the blacks, then we have this Caraxis shirt in in red cuz their sign is red. Anyway, you buy both and you get 12% off. And we also have this embroidered cap as well. And yes, I keep coming up with excuses
to take this wig off every single video. Why do you think the Robert Baratheon impressions always happen in the first 15 minutes? Someone sent me um a guide face. But I actually think it's funnier if every week it gets worse and worse.
It's a [ __ ] nightmare to film with, but I think it just keeps up the if it goes to [ __ ] it looks better. Anyway, Orman then reminds them that they're doing okay, especially since they bent the knee to Reneer. They did this out of
fear, however, as Tumbleton isn't built for war. but he refuses to kill or very easy to storm in general and probably a metaphor for Poland in World
his castle and he surrendered pretty quickly. Lord Footley is also played by Adam Brown as well. Who's that mate? Oh, you know, you know him. You know him. He
uh he played Aie in the Hobbit movies. Ah, that's it, mate. That's it. Yeah. Yeah, I know that one. Lady Sherus though then proclaims that Reneer is the rightful queen which annoys Orand. He asks if she is or if she's just a [ __ ]
Targaryenss. Like Raymond, he sees them as foreigners who came and stole our land because they had the stronger weapons. Everyone has to bow before them, but the reptilian royal family who all practice incest. This is why he says
that his purpose is to restore the rightful line to the iron throne. Sharon quite get but seeing him in this episode I really understand. Both pushed their
Targaryen. I think he thinks he can restore some sense of normality. Cersei was made to marry Robert Robert.
Don't know what came over me there and have children but albeit hers were with Jaime. Tywin pushed her out of a pure lust for power, though, which was born different in his drives, and he's a religious fanatic who worships the
seven. I do even wonder if Septan Eustace might be sympathetic to his cause, as we saw last week how he didn't like Rene. For now, though, as Fley plays nice, his men will be kept under control. Like Rene, they have a duty to
their subjects, and they have no other choice than to simply bend the knee. Again, this is to avoid riding as the people still outnumber the soldiers, so it is something they have to keep under their thumbs. The real Darren is still
does greet him as she normally would. We also know Orund has been training and Darren's a squire, and his night Ormond is supposed to instruct him on how to
act. He is, however, just taking it to the extreme. While Wayne said Darren's a good lad in season two, Orman's slowly corrupting him. And I do feel like this season might be the battle for his soul. With Orman, there's just an outside
veneer of chivalry, but deep down, he's one evil dude. And yeah, I think James Norton is perfect for playing this kind of character. Bull John Roxton has also brought an excuse from Boris Baratheon, who we did see in season 1. There,
Luceris was sent to get him to join Reneer, but Aean got there first and secured marriage with Boris's daughter. She was called Flores. So like Boris Flores. Boris Floris Barathu. Don't know what keeps coming over me. H
But at this point in the book, Boris was fighting against the next in a long line after an era took the capital, but in the show, the kid still in the city. He does play a major role later on and is part of something that I expect will be
adapted next season. So, this is why he's not providing a to Ormond who says bit of character building as well as uh in season one Boris got a maester to
just a nice bit of dialogue. Unfortunately, there's also no word from Harrenhal yet, and these guys really need Vagar or the town will fall with absolute ease. Just like in the book, they're severely outnumbered as Orman
only has Disarian with him, which is still an infantile dragon. It's why the occupation of the town is really smart as well as Reneura can't burn her own people and it basically neutralizes the threat of her six dragons. Back in
King's Landing, Rene is very confused as to why Orman took the town, but she then on her and this would give her a reputation of being Mor returned. This
is actually also a reference to the book and after she levied harsh taxes on the public, she was referred to as Meor with tits. She does start cracking the whip though as she uses the gold cloaks to find out who's put out the anti- Reneer
propaganda. The queen believes she was delivered to the throne by gods while Orman believes it's the god's will to place down on the throne. Sets up a dueling battle of ideologies that's basically a battle of the gods. Could
somewhat happens in the book. Around the council we then see she's also got a queen's god with her and I believe this is Sir Aryen Redford. Orwell and fight door to door. It's better than using dragons as the collateral damage
will be kept to a minimum. But yeah, this is Westeros and the nobles will end up killing as many civilians as they need to. Orwell is also allowed to keep his title as well and sit on the small council so long as he remains useful.
this point. He then reaches for his ball, but Reneura says, "Don't bother. It's from a dead regime. Set decorator Clare Richards and production designer Jim Clay came up with these as a way to visually represent the small council
members clocking in. This no longer being a thing though just nicely fills in um some things for the main series and it could explain why we never see keep watch as the Riverman will take weeks to arrive. This is laying the
groundwork for something big and is quite a major shakeup in the war. A neat bit of visual storytelling that shows just how desolate Reneer's reign is is also that she has to get her wine herself. She was the cup bearer to her
father, but now she has no one to do it for her. In the book, she actually um had her son Egg on the younger do it, but in the show he's on his way to Pentos still. I think having him absent though just makes things a lot better
and visually it shows how everything is sparse, including the council numbers. The war has left both without a strong grasp on the realm. And we saw in a night of the seven kingdoms how the Targaryenss were kind of struggling to
hold on to power. Also missing is the character's hand callus. He loudly proclaimed that her sons were bastards, including the new head of the throne, Joffrey. NO, NOT THAT ONE EITHER. Thank God for that. He's leaving the castle
simple favor. My then suggests naming a master of coin who they can then throw under the bus if the small folk get angry. kind of like uh when the UK government budget goes down badly and the chancellor gets the blame and we're
all like can the lettuce not rule instead? But she suggest this poison jealous go to Tara Madalie aka the smirking chesher cat who boiled her piss last week in the book he was always on the black side and was a decent adviser
to the queen after being sent to King's Landing by his father. He plays a big role in the subsequent reigns and it does seem like they're kind of combining stuff from his future and making him prominent a lot earlier in the book.
This was Bottomos Celtic. And though he's in the show, they're clearly not out, she'll focus on Orant. This then leads to her meeting up with her former BFF and getting the tea on Orund. It looks like Allison is also fully back in
the blue now that she had when she was younger, and this shows she's no longer before. Uh, but it's just a nice bit of costume design that helps add to her
ballads, reads history books, always subscribes, and collects tapestries. He sounds a lot like um a Henry VII figure. Well, the young version of Henry VII,
that is, as he was kind of known as being a Renaissance man. Orund also hates the ignorant and uncou, but Gwain said he was cruel. We see that side of to pretend to be a scholar. However, he's just a brute deep down. Allison
even then doesn't work out that well. Right now though, in her mind, she's very happy that she did that as Agon and Aean have turned out to be a bit bad.
Rene even looks over to Helena and Jiara at one point and they're a symbol of how innocence doesn't really last in this kingdom. So Darren was basically Allison's last chance to have a decent son. Both Otto and Gwen confirm that he
was doing well. However, at the end of the episode, we see Ormond as the devil on his shoulder. Freddy Fox, who plays Gwane as well, has teased that the pair will meet on screen and have different ideas about how to achieve their aims.
So, I feel this slip that gain thought Orman is cruel is potentially setting that up. I do also wonder if Orand or Darren might even end up killing him. I don't know if this is like a massive spoiler or what. I'm going to say it
here because they clear they haven't done it in the show. Um, but in the book, Gwain is killed during the taking of King's Landing. Now, that happens by the GoldCloak commander who basically says they're loyal to Damon and that's
feel bad saying it because that hasn't gone down. Um, so because of that, I have started theorizing how they are going to change things. I think bring in
something like Darren where he has to choose his logically between Orand Gain would be a nice way to play on the treachery and also build upon that. And sorry if that did spoil things, mate. I don't like I said, it's not happening.
So, I don't know. I feel bad. I just I still feel bad. But yeah, Reneer then Orund is sensitive to smells. So, I don't know how much Reira can weaponize this, but this is why he sniffs that orb whenever anyone comes around. It's also
why we see him in the bath and later preparing his perfumes. I did even wonder if Reira might resort to flinging dead animals or people over the walls of Kafa, and it might be a way to make him feel disgusted. Back at King's Landing,
mega pissed at her and would rather be out fighting the Triarchy remnants than causing havoc, but they were mostly located around Lannisport and Castelli
Rock. Corus also sees this as an opportunity for his son. He needs Allan to prove himself, and maybe Rene will legitimize them as a thank you. He can do this by being his father's proxy and providing counsel to his queen. Once
again, it's also part of his later story, which is being brought forward. Egon and Laris as well as they've arrived outside Rook's rest. Last time he was here, he almost died and they returned to the crash site where Sunfire
failure. Again, this is a bit different from the book, too, as there Sunfire was still alive. Now, the dragon did have a damaged wing, and this meant it couldn't
kill it. However, this was a total failure as this dragon woke up and then burned the attackers. The dragon was then healed enough to take off and it secretly at Dragonstone and engineering a way to take Rea's home for himself.
Now, because of this, I actually think that Sunfire is still alive and that we'll get an amazing payoff when Egan comes back into town and kills all the Ryan Aries there. It is presumed that a dragon rider and their dragon have
somewhat of a psychic bond, and this is what allows them to work as one. To most, dragons can seem scary and unruly, and yet the Targaryenss and Valarians are still able to tame them. Because of this, it's thought that there must be
in there and that he'll awaken at some point in the season. I even wonder if things might kick off and Agon gets rumbled with those at Rook's rest who realize he's the king. The dragon then might come up from his slumber and
arrive to save the day at the castle. Book readers will know that Sunfire also plays a major role in what's to come and this was even talked about by Joffrey in the main show. I'll not play it because it spoils one of the big fates in the
season. But that that kind of shows to me that it must at least be cannon in Danny and that, I feel like they're really trying to tie into what the main show is. Anyway, the pair are in trouble as a guy's charging people to touch the
weak people are easy to prey upon. Also, love how he's turned this into a business opportunity even though it's just a dead animal in the field. They even see a chance to rob them, but Agon says the dragon's alive and whispers,
"Hi, Valarian to its ear." Laris also calls him Gregor as his cover name, and we'll talk more about a certain Gregorane when we get to the stuff with Ae. I think what this is doing though is showing that Agon refuses to accept the
reality of the situation. This keeps getting him in trouble and again it Christristen who's on the march to Harrenhal. The aftermath of Aean's episode 2. Bodies slid to the ground and there's even dead horses showing that
Aean just killed everything he could. Really speaks to the horrors of war and how soldiers like this don't stand a chance. Kristen has been in his feelings ever since Rook's rest, as it was the first time he saw just how insanely
screwed they were. This is a grim reminder of what could face him on the dragons. Arriving at the castle, it's empty and spooky as hell. And I love how
this place is kind of filling in the horror vibes for the series. In the main one, you know, we of course had the the white walkers and stuff. Um, but this show has been kind of absent on the scary stuff. Harren Hall is just the
perfect place for it, though. And I love how we hear voices and growling in the Vaggar, but yeah, according to Alice, they're all gone. Alice Rivers just has
an air of mystique about her here, though, and these guys have absolutely no idea who she is. This is also just like the book, as their Kristen found Harrenhal empty. However, that was because Damon had abandoned the castle
and not even left the host. This also feels like they're shifting a moment that happens later in the book up a bit um as people arrived at the castle at one point and only found Alice there. One time was when Sabbath the Frey
arrived and she was like um almost this ageless presence that had been there for years. After this, some knights were also sent to investigate Harrenhal and they were only met by the witch. Alice is all that remains. And the book then
describes Aean's attack as ending the flower of house strong. I always love this term and it paints him out as pleasant things amongst this hellscape. But alas, Sir Simon Strong is gone. Rest in peace, my bro. Like jumping back to
last episode as well, you could genuinely tell Damon was devastated he was toast. Was like genuinely more gutted about that than he was Chase. But in their death, Alice now has the castle and she says that Aean left when he
learned that Rene took King's Landing. This obviously comes as a shock to Gwayne as well as the capital has fallen and all they have left is this minuscule army. I do feel like Alice is just playing with him though. And yeah, and
no doubt she's got Amon locked up in a room somewhere all submissive and breedable. She's taken my sperm and sperm is like lending someone less than a fiverr. You can't really ask for it back. Now, if you go on the internet,
uh, which do not do that, mate, but if you do, uh, you might have seen a theory that Aean is going to be one of the White Walkers. I'm not sure if that's the case. Um, but all this mysticism makes it seem like it could be a
possibility. We have seen in the main show how he can have like a zombie type character and Gregor Clelegane served as Cersei's undead-like hulking beast. I do wonder if Alice might bring Aean back this way and he could be zombie-like for
the rest of the series. He is going to face off against Damon at some point and book readers will know the aftermath and I don't feel bad spoiling it cuz like the character alive in some way and have him serve the Night King as one of his
forces. It's just a theory time and when I first heard it, it was one of them wonder if it's something they might end up doing. Despite not liking Omen as well, Gwane wants to link up with him as he knows his cousin will have some plot
brewing. Christen though has other ideas. He criticizes GW and the other highborn folks of Westeros, saying they see this as one great game, one great game of thrones. He said it. He said it. They
>> then go off and play war and go back to line their nice bets. All the while, it's the small folk and those of lower birth who suffer the most. As we learn, Kristen's father was the suit of Black Haven, which was the seat of House
Dondarrion. During his first appearance in the show, we discovered how he'd then kned by Lord Dondarian after helping set up two watchtowers across the Boneway. While growing up, he only had what Lord Dondarian would give him.
But if the Lord had a bad year, all would suffer. He's seen firsthand what a bad decision means for the loworn. Kristen has a different idea about what they should do and decides to fight a guerilla war which means that they'll
not be using dragons and it will be man against man. It was actually Kristen who suggested joining Orman's host Aemon and it was the oneeyed prince who reigned terror across the Rivalence. In the book it was also the blacks who waged
guerilla warfare against the greens. He then quotes in episode one and says, >> "We must cling to our honor, lest we'll become beasts ourselves, that we are not beasts, but knights and soldiers of honor."
>> After leaving the castle, Cole was then harassed by the Blacks, including Benjot Blackwood. That is someone I do hope we'll get to see in the show. And this will basically all lead to a battle known as the Butcher's Ball, which I
Back at King's Landing, Rene then uncovers her father's Warhammer terrain. It's a model of old Valyria that he worked on in season 1. And since his a family member die, but it's kind of weird when you go back through that old
stuff. Hell, even now, um I think about what's going to happen when I die. through when they see all this junk and [ __ ] that they've got to got to somehow
sort out. There's loads of Funko Pop boxes that it seems like junk, but it's special, but that's all that remains of him and it's what he cared about in almost like too much stuff to look through because it's something that
someone's collected over their entire life. And yeah, it just takes so much effort to list and sell that stuff. It also brings back a lot of painful memories and is kind of a relic of the past that sums up a person's life. The
Blood and Cheese. To him, it meant nothing and was something to just take his rage out on, but to Reneira, it has very fun memories attached to it. We
also saw Viseris tell Allison how there would never be another Valaria and it acts as a great metaphor for the show. We are in the dying of the dragons section of the book and the dance pretty much led to the end of the dragons until
Danny 150 years later. There were mentions of them in Night of the Seven Kingdoms, but the final dragon was said to have been a very sorry sight. So, it's rather apt that the model of Valyria is kept down in storage. We then
Triarchy remnants. She's not happy about it, though, and thinks that he has men this conflict and maybe doing battle will help take his mind off it. Rene
then says the model was reminded of Asseras that even great dynasties fall. She herself is realizing just how tough it is to rule. And despite people calling her dad weak, he clearly did a good job. The Targaryenss could also be
at the brink of death as well. If she, her kids, Agon, Aean, Helena, and Damon are wiped out. Then these blondhead demons will no longer be around. I'm Targaryenss are on their way out as this war has them fighting each other. Sadly,
violence and hunting is all she can do, though, and this is symbolically shown by the rats. They're scurrying over the model, and Allan suggests using cats to 100 cats be brought from Oldtown to replace the rat catches after Egon had
smaller prey, and she of course sends a dragon to Tumbleton. Allan does play a bigger role later in the book as well. And with the council here, I do wonder
if Rene will make him master of ships. We then cut to Agon and Lis with a former holding a dragon scale. This small folk everywhere at Rook's rest Night of the Seven Kingdoms. In the book, Kristen left a garrison here, but
the castle was taken back by Wallace Mutton. As we mentioned earlier, they then won the day, but died trying to kill Sunfire. Here though, Sunfire is sought to be dead and the castle's been taken over by the small folk. Well, it
might be the small folk. Uh, but the leader is wearing army attire. It looks like absolute hell, though. And one of the jobs is mixing excrement for the fields. I also really like the bit of irony of Agon being made to live a
peasants's life in a castle that he had a hand in destroying. I guess his decisions came home to roost at roost rest. Like roost rest. Hey. Now, we then see the body of Me dragged over the wall. You might notice that the dragon's
season two. But either way, his civil war with his sister has led to all this chaos and dragon losses on both sides. We then see the guy who's taken over the castle, who's a sort of beggar lord, so to speak. I do wonder if the writers are
However, it does seem like the bald guy behind the lord has the house malister sigil on his chest. This is a house that declared for the black. So yeah, they might still rule this. Larisen comes up with a clever story for him and Agon,
saying that they came from Shaw point. This explains Egon's burns and injuries, but they don't really get any sympathy. Laren uses coin to B for their stay at the castle, but it only buys them so much. There's too many mouths to feed
and it kind of sets up while later Egon doesn't get any food. Then asked what their trade is and get laughed at saying Laris can read and knows herbs. Not much use here then. Are you your [ __ ] Laris is then told that he might be useful
while Agon's assigned latrine duty. It shows how far he's fallen and I think through the eyes of the small folk much like Agon in Knight of the Seven
Kingdoms. This could potentially even make him a better ruler should he manage dragon and title, the guy is just nothing. Back with C, we see Tumbleton's
have a better time than at Honey Wine. And this was the sight of a battle where battle. And after the fight, Orman kned him as Darren the daring. We then get
another scene that's very similar to one with Jesper and Allison. There's this And I think this season there's been that in three of the four episodes.
nothing's really fair in the realm. We have the guy in episode one who probably wasn't punished, Jasper who was killed, and then this guy who gets harmed, but then Cat's brother dies at the end as well. So, it's like the justice is all
over the place. Before being escorted off, he also says, "My lord, I have a his wife in his final words. He also sees the sister-in-law's arms broken.
husband, Hugh, petitions to go to Tumbleton, and Reneura suggests that he and Ol take take it in turns. This sets them up both to go there with the and save his wife, while Olf is sick of being treated like crap. He can't even
go to the local spoons. And for a man like Ulf, that is a fate worse than death. Enough is enough. High Tower loyalists are also very angry at the the book, it was actually Lar who is organizing the hatred against Reira, but
with him gone, it seems like it's just a feeling amongst the public. Rene has basically become important at work and it's ruining her life. The man who reads lost. As we know though, it's far from over. This is the line that's also
with his old mates. These come from season 2. They could be spotted as he them back. On the way as well, I did think of spotting the graffiti was kind
of similar how we saw the rat catches in season 2. Through his eyes, we see a hell of a lot of the kingdom. And I think he's a great character to do this subscribers on YouTube and your mates all said you'd never do it and then you
me." They all laughed at that boy who did that and they all laughed at Ula thinking he had Targaryen blood. But instantly they're like, "Oh mate, you're the your videos are the best. I love your hour and 40 minute long video on in
night." And they're all just begging for a round. Also hear how the prices have gone up, which is uh because of Reneura's taxes. And you know, it's it's
somehow worse than London prices for a pint in the old cockin. Their hangers on think it shows that Ulf has never really been valued for who he is, though, as the Targaryenss turn up their nose at him, and his mates just want him for his
money. Ultimately, I think this will push him towards doing something big, and finally trying to gain some respect. Cutting back to Tumbleton, we see Orund called out to mediate stuff with his soldiers and Cat's family. The soldier
that Cat's brothers a smith as well and she ended up marrying one. She might have seen it as a safe and secure job as people in Westeros will always need of White Grove. This could be a nod to a major character who's on the green side
named Unwin Peak who was the lord of white grove. He played a big part in the Tumbleton story, but as of yet he hasn't been brought to the show. However, he may end up coming in. Um, and we will talk about that character a bit later on
audience as it initially shows Orman's a fair man. He orders for the soldier to be ged, aka castrated, and also for an arm to be broken. The punishment matches
the crime. Animations then sent to Tender Cat's family. Orman then explains that they need to keep a firm grip on the public as they can't risk any riots and this would jeopardize the war for the character. Tumbleton in the book
does descend into a lawless hell. That would make an evening out in Sunderland look like a right laugh. We are going to be seeing how he deals with this city compared to Anira though, as on her side, we see her using the Goldcooks.
It's also clear that him doing this does rub off on Darren. The fact he wants him to be king could mean he dishes out this punishment to show he must be fair. He's mentoring Darren to be a good ruler, which makes sense by the end of
the episode as he's doing a Tywin and Otto and trying to put his choice of ruler on the throne. Rene then asks for all correspondence between Orman and the bring up the one that we saw in episode 1, so it is clear Allison didn't go
through the official channels. She also asks how much sway the High Towers have over the faith of the seven. And yeah, I expect that she thinks that Septton Eustace is far more loyal to the Greens than her. Tristan High Tower actually
built the Starry Sept the thousand years before Agon's conquest and the religion was there long before and will be there long after. We must also remember that this season's taking place in 129 AC. So, it's not really been that long since
Agon got the Lords of Westeros to bend the knee. Agon did accept the religion though as he felt it was the best way to cement his rule and thus helped to achieve his dream to stop those from beyond the wall. However, he clearly
doesn't think the high towers can control the faith. But both Eustace in the last episode and Orman in this episode express the same sentiment towards the Targaryenss. So I imagine if it was Darren petitioning for anointment
instead of Reneer that he would get it pretty much right away. With all of this, it also makes me wonder if Eustace is also in on Orman's plan, especially as he was dismissive of Reneura in the book. Allen asks if it matters if she
risks war. This is just like how Meor the Cruel ended up battling with the faith militant and then they also had Cersei do it in the main show. Now, while last week we mentioned the rich may be the ones who social engineer the
public against Reneer, I also think that the faith of the seven will be involved as well. They may also be behind the graffiti that we mentioned earlier and and see how Damon's getting on. It's a location that everyone probably
recognizes from the main show and that moor is probably one of the most memorable things in the series. Well, to me at least. The guy getting kicked down there. Fantastic. 10 out of 10 episode. No notes. But Damon's returned after
Runstone, aka the seat of Rya Royce. However, he was sent away by Lady Jane. In the show, he simply used the idea of petitioning Lady Jane to wind up Gerald
Royce, and it was all just a move to get power. They clearly see right through his act, though, and he's very disliked in the veil. Kind of just like Little Finger. Well, depending on who you ask anyway. But she's unhappy as Rene sent a
child with a tiny dragon which is a far cry from what was sold to her. Luckily though, the kingdom was relatively safe from fighting as it was really difficult for an army to invade. But Jane explains that it was an insult and trades barbs
while asking why needs men if the wars won. However, as we see, Damon's just here for the money, money, money. And he basically says if she pays, he'll go. It's just 99 cents to become a member of the channel. And for that, you get at
least four videos a month. So like 25 cent a video really. And when you get an hour and 40 minute long interstellar video, wow, what a deal. Anyway, Jane becomes unruly. I love the fact as well that Damon can't control the dragon
their depths. To Damon, though, sheep stealers a dragon for the greens, and the last thing he expects is his daughter. I love the way the fire lights the main show. Now Raina looks a lot worse for wear and she's living in a
cave with her dragon. We've talked a lot in our previous videos about how Raina they've clearly taken her look from the book and sort of gave it to the Sheepstealer on Dragon Stone as opposed to the veil in the show. It was also
hinted that she was intimate with Damon. But the text also says that he treated her like a daughter. So having her be his actual daughter, um I do quite like going to live in a cave in the veil. She was then worshiped by the mountain focus
being a fire witch. And I feel like the show took inspiration from the latter with Nettles led Reneer to basically hunting after the girl. But I expect for ultimately choose to protect his daughter and this will of course make
the pair butt heads. Raina then explains that she wanted to help and like Aean though because she's abandoned his sons and also caused Jerus's death. He then offers to get her to Pentos and it shows he doesn't really want to be a deadbeat
Damon. He then offers to take her to King's Landing, but Raina wants to live in exile. So Damon does what he can to protect her and kills the sheep herder before handing over his head. Also love how after she flies off, Damon tells
Caraxis to But look, the plan is foolproof. And he'll take the head and it'll be all gravy. This is the guy who did it. Yep, it he tamed a dragon. He tamed Sheep stealer. He killed Jace. But I've got it. It's all sorted out now.
Yeah, I think she bought it, mate. Won't suspect a thing. We then preparing his perfumes. Right before we get one hell of a crash out, my guy is ye oldie Jeremy Fragrance. He receives word that Aean's left Harren Holo and it's messing
things in order and anything that upsets it just causes him to rage out. I love how Darren instantly knows what's going to happen as well and he tells the young
servant to leave the room quickly. And the maid just toodles out as well. Darren also picks at his nails in this episode, much like his mother does. Orman then goes full on Kylo Ren as he screams the C-word and slices up the
table. He then tries to calm down and be very demure, very mindful, but we can see that he's got a fierce temper, which is why Gwain probably said he was cruel. messenger well with an ice bath. He then surrendered to save the lives of his men
and even chose the side of the Commoner in this episode. But this bit of anger gives us a hint that the guy just ain't right, which we see at the end. been corresponding with the capital and is up to his own schemes. Now, as if
that news wasn't bad enough, we watches Reero is pested by Al the White. I love how he's awkward and peers around the door and he sheepishly comes in and asks for some favors. The queen is just exasperated with the character and she
urges him to spit it out. He wants his friend Muja to be exempt from taxes and have a small holding outside of Rosby, which is just on the outskirts of King's Landing. Muja is played by Samson Ko, and he was actually in truth seekers
with Emma Darcy. He also wants his mate to get a pardon for his many crimes, but she just ignores this and explains that he can't go into the taverns anymore and must stay within the castle. In the book, he and Hugh are quite wild men who
abuse any women they can get their hands on. However, that has been absent from the show completely. However, I do think the confinement may make him go a bit stir crazy as yeah, being told he has to stay indoors. I'm ready to [ __ ] riot,
he thinks. He then tells her about the graffiti in the city, which is clearly him saying what he thinks of her, but using others as examples. >> They say queen of bastards.
>> Now, Alf is of course a bastard himself, so he's okay with it, whereas Rene's whoever did it. Finding the culprit will be like finding a needle in a haststack, though, and ultimately it leads to false accusations and oppression. This just
pushes the people away from her and it's a nice way for all to get revenge. Back at Rook's rest, Agon's then finished his [ __ ] bucket shift and he learns that there's no food. You see that Lar also wants to get a boat from Duskondale in a
few days, but the news that Rene's declared Egon dead enrages him. However, Larus thinks they can use this to their advantage and says his eventual resurrection will become the stuff of song and legends. Now, in the book,
proclaimed the Targaryenss and dragons were abominations, similar to what um Reneer. And I do wonder if we'll see a return of Egon at King's Landing as
opposed to where he returns in the book. Just to make Egon's day worse, there's also no food left. and he then makes an ill-advised confrontation with the guy who runs the place. A gun just simply has no sway here and all his power came
from his title and his dragon. He only rules because convention says he does. He's then forced into a humiliation ritual and here the guy's name is Janos. This also plot reminds me a lot of Ariad Harrenhal, albeit here it's much worse.
up things especially when he was a wee boy. Uh, but I'd love to see Sunfire wake up and just tear apart this [ __ ] I think that would be such a triumphant moment in the air. Having such a [ __ ] killed would be the best
way for Agon to become a great guy in people's eyes. Damon then presents the head of the poor sheep herder to Reira. It's similar how Theon used innocence's standings for Brandon Rickens's body in the main show, and he basically tries to
quickly change the subject so she doesn't ask questions. But yeah, I don't wearing light blue and her costumes are getting lighter every week. In the book, she was nicknamed the white worm and the costume team may be taking her towards
coin. I love how Manly moves his wine cup away from the rotten head and Damon then explains everything. The iron bank is also ignoring them and as we know, they tend to try and always pick the winning site. Damon then takes an
instant dislike to torren madly saying he's the clever one around here and the >> Has anyone considered a tax? >> This is something that Rene does in the bug instead of going full chairman Mao.
He also mentioned that inquisitions are thorough which have been searching for search for two of the king's gods sent to protect Egon's kids after they were smuggled out of King's Landing like Agon was in the show. Damon then wants money
for the soldiers, but Rene cannot concentrate due to the bombshell that only ones meant to be able to ride dragons. And something about the story just isn't adding up. But Rene kind of feels robbed that she wasn't the one to
dispense justice. think eventually when she realizes that Damon has indeed lied, she'll be very, very angry and think that he's betrayed her. Isaria also sees right through his schemes as well. But the goal will allow them to arm up the
small folk. Also, I don't know if giving the peasants weapons is such a good idea in this current climate. Uh, and it's a bold strategy, Cotton. Let's see if it pays off for him. We then see the queen meeting with Allison once again. Once
again, she's agreed to send Otto's remain to Oldtown to be with her mothers as per Allison's request. You also see the start of what appears to be a rift between mother and daughter. Helena was of course there when she learned that
to run away. I think she's aware that Allison doesn't necessarily see the Targaryen kids as being worth protecting and could be questioning what she's willing to sacrifice. This ultimately will lead to the culmination of Helena's
story. And I think we see the seeds of it being sewn here. Back at Tumbleton, we then see Hugh arrive as a show of power. Public is petrified and quite rightfully so. We saw how the small folk of King's Landing was scared when Reneer
and her squad pulled up and get a similar shot with Cat to the one that we got there. Hugh flies low and I think it's pretty neat that we see how the air displacement causes a huge gust of wind. We then see him land and I fully expect
him to treat with the occupying force in order to get his wife. Meanwhile, the gold cloaks are bringing the hammer down on the small folk. It's similar to how and caused chaos. Now, as we mentioned earlier, it is the opposite of how
fair and just, but in secret, he's just as petty as the rest of the other lords. herder was used to further Damon's plans, and ultimately, they're the ones
who suffer. The Queen's justice is false here. and this will turn people against her. We even see Luther trying to get a false confession from someone, which again mirrors a scene from season one with a man being held by the Gold Cl.
While this guy in season 1 may have been a criminal, getting forced confessions sets a bad precedent. Back at Tumbleton, Darren's also chilling with his pet, which is something Orman says he warned him not to do. I love how Tesarian hates
Orman as well. He can smell the horrible vibes coming off him. Darren then calms him down before Orman then praises the boy. He says he raised him in the light of the seven and that the father smiles upon him. He even mentions that he's
good because he says his prayers, but ultimately there is a taint within him. Orund is of course a religious fanatic and him not replying to the message in episode 1 could be because he doesn't see them as people. He sees the
Targaryen blood and Damon as being bad and says intellectually they're poor but cunning. He even calls the Targaryenss brutes. His ancestors had no hopes of standing against them though as the family had dragons. So the only chance
he has now is to use a Targaryen that he's raised in the light of the seven to eliminate the Targaryen influence on the throne. Just like Allison, Darren is last chance to raise a good man while Orman wants him to be the last chance to
raise a good man on the throne. Worded that terribly h but it's all about that high tower supremacy. think James Norton is absolutely superb here, though. And it's in a season that's had some really sensational performances. Now, I may
a [ __ ] when Norton was cast that we'd get something special. Orman then explains that Darren will be king and restore their ancient order. It's a bold play going against Agon and Aean, but he sees this as something willed by the
gods. Orman's hatred of Viseris is then revealed as Darren asks whether mercy is a virtue at which the Lord of Oldtown fumes. He's then forced to kill Cat's brother. Darren then looks horrified at being made to do this, but he follows
through with it anyway. Now, to me, this is sort of like the justice that Stannis Baratheon handed out. Davos Seaworth helps Storm Zen by smuggling food for Stannis and his subjects. How about as he was a pirate before this, Stannis cut
the fingers from his non-dominant hand, but also gave him a title and some land. So, while Cat's brother was defending her, he still struck a high tower man who is by extension part of Darren. Thearian then burns the body and I did
wonder if he ate it. Uh, but I have a theory for the spoiler section that I think is more likely. In doing this though, Orman has lured Darren to his side. And again, Allison's failed another child and she cannot catch a
break. The game is a foot though and I think we're setting up for an really great way to close out the first half and it kind of lays the groundwork for some major things to come. Now we have kind of touched upon where we could
be going and as always that takes us to the long coveted spoiler section. If you're ducking out here as well mate I thank you for joining me and hope that I see you next week. Anyway, the first person that I want to touch upon is
Olaf. Wolf's been Damon's whipping boy throughout the season and he's looked down on Byron era. The last straw is not being allowed to go to the pub and you should never come between a King's Lander and his pint of Madri. We saw
will be sent to find him after he goes looking for his wife. Feel that they're pint of riddles for 1 20. It's like going up north. You hand over a fiverr
and you actually get change. Now, in the book, both of them swapped sides when Blacks. In the book, they just did this for money and power, but I think that Cat's brother's burned body may even be used to show Hugh that Reneer could have
done it. After all, Orman seemed to side with him, so having him killed just makes no sense. Regarding Allen, he's also standing in for his father on the small council. And after Alf and Hugh's betrayal, Reneer has the seeds arrested.
This is something that leads to Corless warning Adam. Um, and I do wonder if that's going to cause to be arrested, too. Alan is also made master of ships in the book. Um, which is a title that he gets later, but I do think that it
might come from the fallout of this. As for Egon, the guy is in the mud now, literally, and he's struggling to survive at Rook's rest. In the book, he went to Dragon Stone, and in the character's hour of need, Sunfire flew
to him. Sunfire also needs to be around for Rea's big death scene, which was confirmed to be by Sunfire in the main show. Rene Targaryen was murdered by her brother, or rather his dragon. It ate her while her son watched.
>> So yeah, I think that the dragon will awaken once again. However, I would like Shepherd's story for Agon. Tor Manley has also become the master of coin,
which is a massive change up from the book. Again, there was Bottomos Caligar who was murdered when King's Landing descended into rights. So, I expect that to happen, albeit to be torrent in the series. However, I also wonder if
Myorary might throw him under the bus before this. In Tumbleton, Almond is also eventually killed, which leads to Unwin Peak taking over. Seen a few people upset that the character isn't in the show, but he forms a group that aims
happens in this episode. In the book, John Roxton also stole Lady Sherus for himself and murdered Lord Footley. So, I do even wonder if the town will descend into chaos. John even claimed the Footley's bed chamber like Orman does in
likely happen. Lastly, we of course have Helena. There's a small piece of friction between her and her mother. And in the trailer, we saw what appeared to be her about to leap to her death. In the book, she did this supposedly after
the head of her own son, Mao, was sent to her. But it doesn't look like the show is going to do that. Due to George R. Armon's infamous butterfly blog as well, we know that she does jump, but it's for no reason in particular.
However, as I mentioned, I think the friction may stem from Allison offering up Egon, which is Helena's husband and brother, and also kind of the second closest person to her. But anyway, that's it for the video. Uh, and we're
left with a pretty interesting situation for the back hop of the season. And of And uh please drop a like on the video too with all your comments and stuff in what we're doing, then make sure that you also check us out at Heavy Spoilers.
now, I might even put up that hour and 40 minute long video on Interstellar that I've been spamming the whole video. Uh so yeah, hopefully I see you over there right after this. If not though, huge thank you for clicking this one.
Take care.
