- **Connection to 'The Dropout'** [02:14] — The host notes that the Hulu series 'The Dropout,' starring Amanda Seyfried, is relevant to the documentary, as it emphasized Holmes' quirky behavior and manipulative practices. The documentary's co-director, Lance Oppenheim, was inspired to make the film after seeing Fielder's work.
- **How Fielder and Oppenheim Collaborated** [03:48] — Oppenheim cold-emailed Fielder after discovering he watched 60% of one of his movies on a press screener app. They bonded over magic and eventually pitched the Elizabeth Holmes documentary to A24.

- **Theranos 2.0 Plans** [08:52] — Holmes and Evans discuss plans for a new iteration of the Theranos device with potential investors. They show Fielder the blood testing device, but Fielder struggles to understand how it could work, leading to a comparison to the 'Who's on First?' comedy routine.
- **Holmes' Reaction to 'The Dropout'** [10:08] — Fielder shows Holmes the Hulu series, and she becomes upset, asking him to turn it off. This leads to a 3D scan of an AI version of Holmes, which she worries could become another enduring image of her, like the infamous press photo.
- **Meta-Turn: Amanda Seyfried Reenacts Interactions** [11:13] — Fielder meets with Amanda Seyfried and casts her to reenact his interactions with Holmes, with Christopher Abbott playing Billy Evans. This meta-narrative blurs the lines between reality and performance.
- **Profit-Sharing Dispute** [12:06] — Fielder reveals that Billy Evans demanded a financial share of A24's profits, citing how Harry and Meghan were reportedly paid. A24 reached a temporary profit-sharing agreement, but Fielder threatened to walk from the project if it wasn't resolved.
- **Billy Evans' Manipulations** [13:12] — The documentary explores how Evans shaped Holmes' public persona, including licensing her likeness for stunts, running her Twitter account, and approving an AI-generated model of her. Evans also embraced conservative politics and threatened to destroy the lives of those who crossed him.
- **Fielder's Personal Compromise** [14:35] — Fielder reveals he moved out of his house due to a personal situation, and the documentary suggests he might be romantically compromised. He reenacts a prison visit with Seyfried, where Holmes claims she supports Billy and owes hundreds of millions in restitution.
- **Unseen Footage and Conclusion** [15:56] — The film shows previously unseen footage of Fielder swimming with Holmes, complicating his relationship with his subject. The documentary ends with text stating that the New York Times stands by its reporting, leaving the quote 'They're not playing me' in a new context.

going to explain what the this movie is, how it was made, and what it all means ultimately. I will be spoiling the huge twists of this movie. So, be warned. Please go see the movie. You won't be disappointed. It's nearly 3
won't be able to stop talking about it as you leave the theater. Okay, so first off, what is this movie? You can see everything is a documentary of sorts about Elizabeth Holmes. Elizabeth Holmes was the founder of Theronos, a medical
tech company that aimed to revolutionize healthcare with a proprietary device that they claimed could quickly diagnose any health condition from a mere drop of millions of dollars from various high-profile venture capitalists,
including Larry Ellison, you know, the guy whose son now owns half of Hollywood, while Elizabeth Holmes and her then boyfriend Sunonny Balwani would Walgreens and Safeway. But the thing is, this device never worked. and the
and Sunny Balwani were all investigated for fraud in various shady deceptive business practices that ultimately led to fraud convictions for Bawwani and Holmes in 2022 and orders to pay huge sums of money in restitution. Holmes was
sentenced to 11 years in prison, which she began serving in 2023. The story of Holmes and Theronos was popularized by the 2022 Hulu series The Dropout, starring Amanda Cipher as Elizabeth Holmes herself that emphasized Holmes
reported quirky behavior of manipulating and siloing her employees and media and obsessing over various things like her green juice, the music she listens to, specific Apple products and Steve Jobs, the clothes that she wears,
and the practiced deeper pitch of her voice. This Hulu series is also worth relevant to this movie. The co-director of this movie, Lance Oppenheim, is a documentaries like some kind of heaven, about the villages retirement community

movie, I do believe that all of Amanda Ciphered's moments that we see on screen are genuine. Why do I think that? Well, the documentary just gives a brutally public figure. It questions her claims that her portrayal of Holmes on the Hulu
