# This One Line Tells You When to Buy or Sell

> Source: [This One Line Tells You When to Buy or Sell](https://youtube.com/watch?v=01vne3GgqIw)

## Summary

This video demonstrates a trading strategy based on a technical indicator panel that signals when to buy or sell. The presenter emphasizes following the indicator's crossover signals rather than reacting to price action alone, using a real-time example to show how to enter trades against green candles when the indicator disagrees.

### Key Points

- **Price action vs. indicator divergence** [00:02] — Green candles suggest buyers are in control, but the indicator panel shows the leading side rolling over and slipping below the middle level, indicating a loss of momentum.
- **Crossover signals a sell** [00:16] — When the leading side crosses below the middle and the other side pushes up, the rule is to sell, even if price is still climbing.
- **Entering against green candles** [00:29] — The presenter enters a sell trade against green candles because the crossover disagrees with the price action. He waits for the candle to close and confirms the cross before taking the trade.
- **Handling market tests** [00:42] — Price initially pushes higher after entry, but the indicator panel remains unchanged (crossover still pointing down), so the rule is to hold and not touch the trade.
- **Trade outcome** [00:56] — A large red candle wipes out the pullback, price collapses well below entry, and the sell closes in profit.

### Conclusion

The key takeaway is to trust the indicator's crossover signal over short-term price action, as it can predict reversals more reliably. Patience and discipline in following the rule are crucial for successful trades.

## Transcript

then it started climbing back up. Several green candles in a row. If you convinced buyers had taken over and you'd be looking for a buy right here. But drop your eyes to the panel. The side that was leading has rolled over
and slipped below the middle level sliding down toward the 30 zone while the other side pushes up. That's not a recovery. That's a pullback losing its energy. So the rule says sell. And notice what
I'm doing. I'm entering against green candles because the crossover disagrees with them. I let the candle close, confirm the cross, and take the sell on the next one. And right away, the market tests me. Price doesn't fall
immediately. It pushes a little higher first, small candles poking above my entry level. And this is the second time in this video you're watching the same you instantly. But the panel hasn't changed. The
crossover is still pointing down. My rule is intact, so I don't touch anything. And then it happens. One large red candle straight down wiping out that entire pullback in a single move. Price collapses well below where I entered and
the trade is deep in my favor. And there it is. The sell closes on the winning it is. The sell closes on the winning side.
