## Summary

This video provides a comprehensive overview of the Void Assaults and Ritual Sites systems coming in World of Warcraft Patch 12.0.5, detailing how they work, the rewards they offer, and the new currency and renown associated with them.

### Key Points

- **Void Assaults Overview** [00:45] — Void Assaults are weekly rotating zone assaults in Eversong Woods and Zul'Aman. They involve completing Void Strikes to fill an incursion bar, which then triggers a boss fight. Rewards include Field Accolades, Champion Crests, Voidlight Mael, and Coffer Key Shards.
- **Weekly Quest and Pinnacle Cache** [01:50] — A weekly quest requires filling the incursion bar by completing about five Void Strikes. This rewards a pinnacle cache containing Field Accolades.
- **Ritual Sites Introduction** [02:02] — Ritual sites are short 1-5 player instances combining elements of Horrific Visions and Delves. They have two locations: Daggerstone Point in Eversong Woods and Broken Throne in Zul'Aman. One is active at a time, in the opposite zone of the current Void Assault.
- **Difficulty Tiers and Challenges** [02:42] — Ritual sites have five difficulty tiers. Tiers 1-2 are accessible immediately, while higher tiers require activating challenges (affixes). There are eight challenges, each with unique mechanics, and their unlock requirements decrease weekly.
- **Challenge Requirements and Rewards** [04:56] — Tier 3 requires one challenge, Tier 4 requires two, and Tier 5 requires three. Activating more challenges increases spoils and rewards but also difficulty. Completing Tier 5 with all eight challenges is extremely difficult and grants an achievement.
- **Ritual Site Gameplay** [05:23] — Players enter through a curious obelisk. A UI tracks spoils (increased by activities and treasures) and deaths (first death free, subsequent deaths reduce spoils by 5% each, up to 25%). Rewards are calculated based on total spoils.
- **Rewards and Currency** [06:28] — Tiers 1-3 reward Champion Crests, Tiers 4-5 reward Hero Crests. Substantial Voidlight Mael is also earned. Field Accolades are the new currency, not warbound, used to purchase gear and transmogs from vendors.
- **New Renown: Ritual Sites** [07:21] — A new warbound renown with eight levels, requiring 2,500 reputation per level. Reputation is gained from ritual sites, with 750 for the first run of the week, 500 for the second, plus 50% of final spoils. Rewards include cosmetics, decor, mounts, and upgrades.
- **Vendor Gear and Transmogs** [09:50] — Gear is purchased from vendors in Silvermoon City. Two caches: one for 75 Field Accolades (Champion 246 item) and one for 500 Field Accolades (Hero 259 item). Transmog caches for weapons, helms, and shoulders are also available, containing purple recolors of HD tier two sets.
- **Great Vault Contribution** [10:29] — Ritual sites contribute to the Great Vault delve row. Tier 1 equals Tier 4 delve, Tier 2 equals Tier 6, Tier 3 equals Tier 7, Tier 4 equals Tier 12, and Tier 5 equals Tier 13, offering up to 269 Hero track items.
- **Mounts and Achievements** [12:10] — Mounts include the Void Touched Snapdragon, Void Corrupted Hex Eagle, Witherbark War Bear Mother, and a crafted Void Corrupted Lynx. Achievements include 18 for Void Assaults with a meta mount (Unbound Mana Worm) and 48 for Ritual Sites, with a challenging meta achievement for completing Tier 5 with all challenges.

### Conclusion

Void Assaults and Ritual Sites offer a substantial solo-friendly gearing path with unique rewards, including mounts, transmogs, and a new renown. The system is designed to be repeatable and provides high-item-level gear, making it a valuable addition for outdoor and solo players.

## Transcript

video. Today, we're going to talk about Void Assaults and Ritual Sites in Patch 12.05. I did cover this in my 12.05 overview video, but in this video, we're going to go through all of the details that you
gear? What's the currency? How do you get it? What's the transmog? All of the need to know about Void Assaults and Ritual Sites in 12.05. But before we massive thank you to all of our channel members and everyone over on the
fairly regularly, and if you want to support the channel in that way, I'll leave a link down below. All right, so yes, Void Assaults and Ritual Sites are hand in hand, and obviously this is coming in 12.05, which is launching on
April 21st or 22nd, depending on your region. And they'll be available from day one. So, let's start by talking about Void Assaults. So, these are ongoing zone assaults that run between two zones, the Eversong Woods and
Zul'Aman. And they'll be one active each week with it rotating. Essentially, once smaller group activities called Void Strikes, which contribute to an overall bar in the zone called an incursion. Completing a Void Strike will give you a
new currency called Field Accolades, which we'll talk about in a bit. It also gets you Champion Crest, Voidlight Mal, and Coffer Key Shards. And you'll be level through them as well if you really wanted to. Now, once the incursion bar
reaches 100, the incursion activates. Now, the incursion is like a small and things like that, and then eventually you'll fight a big boss, and get the rewards, which are similar to the rewards from Void Strikes. You just
get a few more of everything. And then the cycle will repeat with Void Strikes starting again, and the incursion bar starting at 0%. So, you can just keep repeating that if you really wanted to. There's also a weekly quest attached to
Void Assaults. Uh, this is just to fill the bar by doing Void Strikes. You need about five or so to complete the bar. This will reward a pinnacle cache, which will also contain field accolades, which is a currency used by this system. So,
that's Void Assaults. Now, running adjacent to these will be ritual sites. Now, ritual sites are short one to five player instances, which feel like a combination of horrific visions and delves. There are two locations for
Ever song woods called the Dagger spine point and one in Zul'Aman called the these zones in the outside world and now these are instance versions in these ritual sites. Now, there'll be one ritual site active at one time running
in the opposite zone to the Void Assault. So, if the Void Assault is in Zul'Aman, the ritual site will be active in the Ever song woods and vice versa. Now, these ritual sites have five tiers of difficulty. Tier one to two can be
done straight away, but the higher ones will require you to unlock and activate challenges. So, challenges are essentially affixes for ritual sites. choose and these are unlocked through ritual site gameplay. The game actually
tool tip, which is amazing and every week the tier requirement to unlock them will actually go one lower every single week, which will allow more players to unlock them a little easier. Now, as mentioned, there are eight challenges,
Tendrils. This says grasping tendrils have been found rooting and damaging distracted adventurers. We have Manifestations. It says the magic of the site occasionally manifests powerful spirits. Interrupt these manifestations
or face their withering magic. We also have Magical Alarm says disruptions at the site trigger forces to be summoned to a location of the incident. The more disruptive the incident, the greater the force summoned. We have Malevolent
Boons. It says the enemies on the site are using dark obelisks to empower their forces. Disable these or face them with their malevolent boons. We have Tainted Corpses. It says volatile magic in the site has tainted the enemies. When
killed, the taint manifests as a pool of deadly magic. We reinforced, it says forces have been brought to protect the site. We have patrols, it says powerful patrols have been seen at the site due to suspected looting. It is best to
you have embers. It says the overwhelming power of the ritual is felt throughout the site. Embers of power can be found empowering nearby enemies and their leader. One important thing to note as of the recording of this, these
challenge unlocks are not account-wide. Uh not sure if that's intended, everything was kind of account-wide. And with delves, obviously, this is very unusual for how they've been building out systems recently. Uh so, hopefully,
will be account-wide cuz it is a little weird just having to go back and unlock all of them again on a different alt. It makes it very alt-unfriendly, which is general. So, yeah. Hopefully, this becomes alt-bound pretty quickly either
before launch or after launch. So, to access the higher tiers of difficulty for the ritual sites, you will have to activate a minimum amount of challenges. For tier three, it's one challenge. For tier four, it's two. And for tier five,
challenges. Now, the more challenges active, the more rewards at the end of your run. But obviously, it is a harder difficulty. So, you could activate all is going to be the hardest level of difficulty, which will obviously give
achievement. But of course, it will be extremely difficult. So, let's talk about the basic gameplay of a ritual site. So, you enter through a curious obelisk in the zone. This is shown on the map where it is located, but it is
obviously located at the Daggerstone Point and the Broken Throne. Once you enter, you'll see a new UI on the right of your screen similar to the delve UI. It tracks two things. It tracks spoils. Now, this is something that is increased
by doing activities inside the ritual site like completing the objectives or clicking small treasures and things like that. And the total amount of spoils you gain throughout the ritual site is important as the rewards at the end are
calculated from that, including the amount of the new currency you get and reputation. And each of the challenges will give you an increase of percent to your spoils. Like certain ones are 15, certain ones are 20, etc. Depends on
which ones you choose. The other thing that's tracked is deaths. Now, the first at all, but after that every death will reduce your spoils by 5% up to a max of decreases your total spoils at the end of the run and gives you less rewards.
is just to complete the objective and kill the final boss. There's no timer, there's no rotating stories like delves, there's just one scenario for each of a ritual site, you will gain rewards from it. You'll get different types of
crests. In tiers one to three, you'll get champion crests and in tiers four and five, you will get hero crests and this can be repeated. You also get substantial amount of void light miles. This seems like a pretty good farm for
it. The other thing you'll get, as mentioned before, are field accolades. the amount of spoils that you have gathered. So, let's talk about field accolades. So, this is a new currency which is used by void assaults and
ritual sites. Now, the bad news here is that it is not warbound. This currency is used to purchase rewards from the gear vendors and the transmog vendors. the end of your runs and is also rewarded from the void assaults. And
activities, you will be gaining another item called a dark particle. This goes in your bags and actually can be exchanged at the vendor for 10 field going to get quite a lot of this currency and you're probably going to
the gear upgrades that you're looking for. So, I did mention it. Yes, renown. There is a new renown coming in this patch that which is directly linked to the ritual sites. Now, this renown is called ritual sites. This is a warbound
eight-level renown with 2,500 reputation per level. This is obviously gained from ritual sites and you'll get quite a lot of this. You get 750 reputation from your first site of the week, then 500 for the second. On top of that, you'll
also gain reputation each time based off of 50% of the final spoil amount. It just keep running it and running it. You could get this in like one session if in gaming. So, yeah, only eight levels,
some of the rewards here. The rewards include some cosmetics, some decor, some mounts, and some upgrades to your ritual site. So, at renown one, you have ritual orbs, which will heal you for 50% of your health when you run through them.
These are small treasures which will spawn inside the ritual sites to three, you will unlock some decor that you can purchase for Void Light Maul. You can purchase the Void Elf Scribe's Desk for 250, the Void Elf Floating Desk
for 150, the Runic Parchment for 150, the Void Flame Candle for 150, and the Void Inkwell for 150. At renown four, orbs, and you'll also get additional rares spawning inside your ritual sites.
At renown five, you will get additional treasures in your ritual sites, and you can also start finding magical shrines inside ritual sites that will help you going to get some pets of Void Light Maul. We're going to get the Void
Maul. We're going to get the Void Infused Mind Breaker Fry for 1,800, and the Void Touched Dragonhawk Egg for 1,800. You're also going to get an increased chance of regeneration orbs forming after killing creatures in
going to get larger treasures inside ritual sites, and you're also going to you in your runs. You're also going to get another decor item, the Dark Obelisk Decor. This is going to cost you 500
Void Light Maul. And finally, at renown eight, we are going to get a mount, the Void Touched Hawkstrider, that you can purchase for 4,500 Void Light Maul. And the other upgrade is that additional rare enemies will spawn inside your
ritual site. So, not too bad for rewards really. Uh all of the decor is actually fairly reasonably priced as well, which is cool. Speaking of rewards, let's go into more rewards for ritual sites. There is tons of stuff
here. So, all of these rewards are sold by new vendors in a new location above the bazaar in Silvermoon City. Now, it's worth noting that gear does not drop from ritual sites directly. It is purchased from a vendor. You can buy two
different caches here called caches of void-touched armaments. They contain an item for your loot specialization. There are two boxes you can buy. You can buy a box for 75 field accolades that contains a champion 246 item, and you can also
purchase another box for 500 field accolades, which does contain a hero track item at 259. And you can get multiple of these if you want. So, if you're gunning for some hero track items, you can just purchase a full set
of armor and weapons from this vendor. Uh as for great vault, this does actually contribute to the vault row in the great vault. A tier one ritual site will give you a tier four delve, tier two will be equivalent to a tier six, a
tier three will be the equivalent of a tier seven, and then it gets a little interesting. So, a tier four ritual site will contribute as a tier 12 delve, and a tier five ritual site will count as a tier 13. Now, those two don't exist, but
yeah, that will actually give you a 269 hero track item in your world row from completing tier five ritual site. So, the highest item level ever from the world row will come from ritual sites. So, some pretty good gearing in general
from these ritual sites. Now, as for transmog and mounts and achievements, there are plenty of those. You can purchase a cache of void-touched weapons for 10 field accolades and 200 voidlight maw. This contains a void-touched weapon
collection. These are actually void-themed items from the Sunwell. and yeah, this is where they come from. The other boxes you can buy are caches
of void touched helms and shoulders and things like that. This contains a void touched appearance that you do not have in your collection. So, these items are purple recolors of the HD tier two sets from the anniversary event. Using these
of the different class sets and it will not give you duplicates and it will tell you when you've collected everything from the box. So, it is random in which classes you get, but it won't give you duplicates. So, yeah, it's not really
too bad. I think it works out to like 17,000 void light maw for all the class sets, which doesn't sound the worst. There is a lot of classes. And it's also worth noting that the champion and hero loot that I did mention earlier also
uses the appearance of these purple sets and weapons. So, you will get some of the appearances from that regardless. Moving into mounts, there are actually a horrific visions in the way that you get them. I will have a full video on how to
little bit nuanced than others. So, you have the void touched snapdragon from the dagger spine point, the void corrupted hex eagle from the broken throne, the witherbark war bear mother from the broken throne, and you also
have the void corrupted lynx, which is actually crafted by leather workers. Uh, to get this recipe, you do need to get to renown eight and do a tier five ritual site. This will drop the BOE recipe as well as a BOP lynx leash item,
put a crafting order in for this mount if you're not a leather worker. So, some will have a full video very soon. And finally, achievements. There are a ton of achievements linked to the system. So, for void assaults, there are 18
achievements in total with a meta achievement. Now, this is a really easy Completing this meta achievement will unlock the ability to purchase the unbound mana worm, which can be purchased for 6,000 void light maw,
mount, which is cool, like a void recolor of it. So, that is your meta mount for void assaults. There's also 48 sites. This is just completing on different difficulties, completing on
pretty difficult one to complete of tier five with all eight challenges. So, this system. So, yeah, there you go. That is void assaults and ritual sites in 12.0.5. I did tell you there was a few more details. I think this video is
almost the length of the entire 12.0.5 overview. So, hopefully I covered everything that you need to know about this system. As an outdoor world player and kind of a solo player, this is going to be a pretty great source of gearing
for me. The transmogs look great. Can't wait to get all of those solo items. So, definitely some horrific vision vibes here. A little less toxic than horrific visions in regards to just being able to go at your own pace and
very much for watching. Let me know in the comments your thoughts on void ritual sites. I'd love to know what you guys think of these. And if you did like on it and subscribe to the channel if you haven't already. If you want to
