## Summary

The video discusses Subaru's teaser for a new WRX performance model, which appears to be a TS variant rather than the highly desired STI. The hosts speculate on the car's features and reveal location, while also engaging in lighthearted banter about Subaru culture and the current WRX's value as a lease special.

### Key Points

- **Teaser Reveal** [00:00] — Subaru has teased a new WRX performance model, but it's a TS, not an STI. The teaser photo shows a massive wing, reminiscent of the old STI.
- **TS vs STI** [00:13] — The hosts express a strong desire for an STI, but acknowledge that Subaru hasn't confirmed anything. The TS is likely a special handling version.
- **Release Location** [00:27] — The new model is expected to be released at the Subaru Boxer Fest at the York Fairgrounds in York, Pennsylvania.
- **Boxer Fest Banter** [00:39] — The hosts discuss which car would stop the show at Boxer Fest, with suggestions like a manual soft SVX and a B9 Tribeca limo with an STI swap.
- **WRX Lease Special** [01:20] — The current WRX is described as a surprisingly good lease special, making it an attractive option for enthusiasts.

### Conclusion

Subaru's teaser for a new WRX performance model, likely a TS variant, has generated excitement, but fans still crave an STI. The reveal is set for Boxer Fest, and the current WRX remains a solid lease option.

## Transcript

What didn't it give us, Filippo, that we really wanted? We wanted power. We wanted horsepower. Subaru has teased a WRX and a BRZ performance model. Unfortunately, it's a TS. The new WRX is the greatest WRX ever made.
And I truly firmly believe that. All we want is an STI. I want to be clear. We don't actually know if it'll be TS. They've said nothing about this. They released this photo, which says TS on the back. This is an official photo. The cool thing about this photo, though, is there's a massive wing,
which makes it look like an old STI. All we want is an STI. But they won't do it. This is going to be some sort of like special handling version of the car, which is fine. Where is it going to be released? I'm sorry. The York Fairgrounds in York, Pennsylvania. At the Subaru Boxer Fest is what you're not saying.
Yeah, correct. Boxer Fest is one of the great events of our lives. Here's a question for you. What car you show up to Boxer Fest stops the show? Manual soft SVX. Thank you. That's exactly what I was going to say. Everybody, that is not at all. Everybody, you think so little.
Everybody's got a manual soft SVX. I'm thinking B9 Tribeca limo. But I bet we could do even better than that. That would do well. STI swap B9. Ooh, damn. What about a really nice LL Bean second gen?
I would pay attention to that. Let me tell you something. A greater group of 05 Legacy GT owners with tinted plate frames and cut springs has never existed than this event where they're going to show off this car.
What would it take for you to get a WRX? Gun to my head. Really? An 04 STI? No, that's not true. This? This car? Well, I've considered the current WRX. It's a surprisingly good lease special. Great lease specials.
