[0:00] In today's video, we're going to be [0:01] talking about one of the most important [0:03] things that can make or m your YouTube [0:05] success, and that is your title. Listen, [0:08] you can actually have the best video in [0:10] the world, but if your title doesn't [0:12] stop people in their track and make them [0:14] to click, that video is simply going [0:16] nowhere. So, in this video, I'm going to [0:18] show you exactly how to write a YouTube [0:20] title that goes viral. Not just decent [0:23] titles, not okay titles, but titles that [0:26] grabs attention, sparks curiosity, and [0:30] make viewers click. I'm going to first [0:32] of all talk about why titles really [0:34] matter on YouTube. Here is the truth. [0:36] YouTube is simply a battlefield for [0:38] attention. Every single second, over 500 [0:42] videos get uploaded on YouTube. So, how [0:45] exactly do you stand out? It's not your [0:47] thumbnail alone. It is not just your [0:50] content. Yes, it starts with your title. [0:53] Your title is the very first promise [0:55] you're making to your viewers. If it [0:57] looks boring, confusing, and [0:59] uninteresting, people will simply scroll [1:02] past. But if it sparks curiosity and [1:04] promises value, boom, you just want a [1:07] click. And guys, clicks are everything [1:09] because no clicks means no views, no [1:12] watch time, no subscribers. And of [1:15] course, that leads to no growth. So the [1:17] first lesson is this. Titles are not [1:19] just an afterthought. They are the main [1:22] strategy. I'm going to be talking about [1:23] the five biggest mistakes that creators [1:26] make when titling their videos. Before [1:28] we talk about what works, let's talk [1:30] about what does not work. And new [1:32] YouTubers are the major people that [1:34] makes all of this mistakes every time. [1:37] Number one is a lot of new YouTubers [1:39] craft titles that are too vague. You see [1:41] a new YouTuber titling a video like my [1:43] day at the park. Nobody cares about your [1:45] day at the park except you're a [1:47] celebrity. Another mistake small [1:49] YouTubers make is that their titles are [1:51] always too long. And guys, I've always [1:53] made this mistake until I learned [1:55] better. And when I changed the tactics, [1:57] everything changed. YouTube simply cut [1:59] off after about 60 characters. So this [2:02] simply means that once you title a video [2:04] and that video is more than 60 [2:06] characters, YouTube is going to cut it [2:08] off and the only thing people are going [2:09] to be seeing is the first 60 characters. [2:12] What if the sense in the video is not in [2:14] the first 60 characters? How will people [2:16] find the video interesting to click on? [2:18] If people don't read the whole thing, [2:20] they simply move on. Another mistake is [2:22] that your title does not have any single [2:24] curiosity. If your title gives away [2:26] everything, then there is no reason to [2:28] click. For instance, you want to talk [2:30] about Toody and you know that a lot of [2:32] persons already knows Tuddy. But you [2:34] want even those people that knows about [2:35] Tuddy to watch your video. Instead of [2:38] writing how to get views for your [2:40] channel using two booty, why not write [2:42] how to get views for your channel using [2:44] this secret app? Another mistake small [2:46] YouTubers make and feel like they are [2:48] wise is that they use a lot of [2:50] clickbait. Clickbait with no delivery. [2:53] If your video does not match the hype, [2:55] viewers simply click away and very very [2:57] fast. For someone like me, I hate [2:59] clickbait a lot. If I'm watching a video [3:01] and I see that what you're talking about [3:03] is not what is in your title or what is [3:05] on your thumbnail, I simply click away [3:07] and that would even make me lose [3:09] interest in your channel. Another [3:11] mistake is your title is always all [3:13] about you and not even your viewer. You [3:15] see titles like my new camera setup. [3:18] Titles like this do not connect. Instead [3:20] of saying my new camera setup, why not [3:22] say the camera setup that makes my video [3:25] 10 times better? Sounds familiar, right? [3:27] Don't worry, we're going to fix all of [3:29] this in this video. Hi everyone, my name [3:31] is Dbora and on this channel I bring you [3:33] on how to grow your YouTube channel. So [3:35] if these are the kind of videos you love [3:36] to watch, do well to give this video a [3:38] big thumbs up, subscribe to the channel [3:40] and turn on your notification bell so [3:42] whenever I upload any video, you're [3:44] going to be the first to be notified. [3:45] Thank you. Now, here's where things get [3:48] exciting. There are four ingredients [3:50] that a viral title usually have. The [3:52] first ingredient of a viral title is [3:54] curiosity. People simply click on a [3:57] video because they want to know the [3:58] title. Instead of saying how to get more [4:01] views, you say why your videos are not [4:04] getting views and then simply add how to [4:06] fix it. Why your videos are not getting [4:09] views and how to fix it. Can you see the [4:12] difference? The first is simply boring [4:15] and the second simply makes you to [4:16] desire the answer. The second ingredient [4:19] for a viral title is specificity. to [4:22] understand that on YouTube numbers and [4:24] details always win. Instead of saying [4:27] make money online, you say three apps [4:29] that helps me to make $1,000 every week. [4:33] You are being specific. Now they know [4:35] that they want to make money online. [4:36] They know that you're making money [4:38] online. And now they will be curious to [4:40] know the app that you're using to make [4:41] that money online. And the fact that [4:43] you've mentioned such amount of money, [4:44] they will make them to even be [4:46] interested in such an app that helps you [4:48] to make so much amount of money in one [4:50] week. Instead of you just saying make [4:51] money online, that's so vague. The third [4:54] ingredient of a viral title is emotion [4:57] and urgency. In YouTube, words like [4:59] shocking worst mistakes. Don't do this [5:03] before it's too late. Simply triggers [5:06] emotions and helps people to want to [5:08] take actions immediately. Example is the [5:11] biggest mistakes that small YouTubers [5:13] still make. Now, when a small YouTuber [5:15] sees your video, she will be so eager, [5:17] especially one that has not been getting [5:18] views at all. she will be so eager, he [5:20] or she will be so eager to click on that [5:22] video because they want to know what [5:24] they're doing wrong and how to fix it. [5:26] The fourth ingredient is value for the [5:29] viewer. Before you title any video, ask [5:31] yourself what is in this video for my [5:33] viewer. Like what exactly do I want them [5:36] to take home from watching this video? [5:38] Example, instead of saying my editing [5:40] setup, you say try the editing setup [5:42] that will make your video look [5:44] professional. If your title combines [5:46] curiosity specificity emotions and [5:49] value, you are simply golden. Now, let [5:52] me give you some plug and pay title [5:53] formulas that works in almost all the [5:55] niche on YouTube. You can literally copy [5:57] this and just fill in the blanks. Number [5:59] one is how to do something in short time [6:02] frame. Example, how to get 4,000 [6:04] watchtime hours in 30 days. Number two, [6:07] the number mistakes everyone makes about [6:10] topic. For example, five mistakes new [6:12] YouTubers still make in 2025. Number [6:15] three, I tried method or two so you [6:18] don't have to waste your time. Four, [6:21] this thing changed my results. Example, [6:23] I tried five AI editing apps so you [6:25] don't have to waste your time. Four, [6:27] this thing changed my result. Example, [6:30] this one strategy doubled my views [6:32] overnight. Five, what no one tells you [6:35] about topic. Example, what no one tells [6:37] you about making money online. and six [6:40] number hacks to desired outcome. Seven [6:42] hacks to explode your YouTube growth in [6:45] 2025. And last but not the least, before [6:48] you do X, watch this. Example, before [6:51] you start a faceless YouTube channel, [6:53] watch this video. So, you can basically [6:55] use all of these things I have to fix in [6:58] whatever you want to fix in. And this [7:01] will literally help you. These are [7:02] simply proven. They trigger curiosity, [7:05] give value, and make people click. You [7:07] may be asking, Debbie, how can I come [7:09] with titles for my video? I'm going to [7:10] be giving you a quick process on how you [7:12] can come with titles for your video. [7:15] First of all, you have to write down the [7:17] main title, the main topic of your video [7:19] in the simplest form as possible. [7:21] Example, affiliate marketing for [7:23] beginners. Like you want to make a [7:25] video, simply write it down. What is [7:27] your video about? You want to make a [7:29] video about affiliate marketing, [7:31] importance of affiliate marketing and [7:33] all of that. Just write affiliate [7:34] marketing for beginners in the simplest [7:37] form. Number two, to ask yourself what [7:39] is the benefit or pain points of [7:41] affiliate marketing. Is it any of $100 [7:44] on YouTube or mistakes that stops [7:46] beginners from earning on affiliate [7:48] marketing? Number three, you have to add [7:50] one viral trigger like urgency, a [7:53] number, or even a strong emotion like [7:56] three affiliate marketing mistakes that [7:58] stops beginners from earning. Number [8:00] four is to write five to 10 variations. [8:02] Don't stop at one. Just test different [8:04] versions. You know, in the first [8:05] instance, I said you should write out [8:07] the simplest form of your video. For [8:09] example, affiliate marketing for [8:11] beginners. And then I went down to say [8:13] all other things. You can apart from [8:15] affiliate marketing from for beginners. [8:17] You can write out other things. You can [8:18] coin out other topics, simple topics [8:20] from the video you are making. Don't [8:22] just use one. You can use tools like [8:24] Tube Buddy, Vid IQ to check what is [8:28] trending and how many people are simply [8:30] searching for the video you want to do. [8:32] You want to do a video on affiliate [8:33] marketing, right? By the time you use [8:35] Tubeuddy, use Tube Buddy. Use Vid IQ to [8:38] search for trending topics and use [8:39] Tubeuddy to search for the keywords that [8:42] those people are typing on search [8:43] engines. So to recap, avoid all those [8:46] common title mistakes I've listed [8:47] earlier. Always use the four viral [8:49] ingredients. Curiosity, specificity, [8:52] emotion, and value. Simply plug your [8:55] idea into proven title formulas. Like I [8:58] said, don't use one title. Always [9:00] brainstorm and test until you get the [9:02] viral title. And no, you don't have to [9:04] get one title. If you've titled a [9:06] particular video and you check your [9:08] impression and your clickthrough rate [9:09] and it's not doing so very well, use the [9:12] next title you've crafted. So this [9:14] simply means that as you are shooting a [9:15] video, your video should not just have [9:17] only one title. You should not just set [9:19] up only one title for your video. Have [9:21] up to five titles. So that by the time [9:23] you check you by the time you upload [9:25] with a particular title and you see that [9:26] the title is not doing very well. And [9:28] how do you know if your title is not [9:29] doing well? If your impression is [9:31] increasing and your clickthrough rate is [9:33] reducing. Now in fact if your title is [9:36] not doing well, your your impression is [9:37] not going to increase because a lot of [9:38] people are not going to click on it. [9:40] When people are not clicking on it, [9:41] YouTube is not going to show it to more [9:42] people. And that simply means that your [9:44] impression is not going to go up, right? [9:46] So test different titles and always [9:49] change. This also implies to your [9:52] thumbnail. But this is not what we're [9:53] talking about. If you want me to do a [9:54] video on how to create viral thumbnail, [9:57] if you like my thumbnails and you want [9:58] me to do a video on how to create viral [10:00] thumbnails, drop at the comment section. [10:02] If you simply apply all this, your [10:04] titles will get more clicks, your videos [10:06] will get more views, and your channel [10:08] will simply grow at a faster rate. Now, [10:12] I want to hear from you. Drop one of [10:13] your titles in the comment section and [10:15] I'll simply help you improve it.
