>> What's your favorite thing about the new
patch?
>> The tier sets.
>> Before we do any proper news videos or
weekly resets or anything like that, the
first thing we have to do, contractually
obligated, is appreciate the tier sets.
Now, Evie, you haven't seen any of these
tier sets yet?
>> Not a single one. It has been so hard
for me to not log on and just look at
these.
>> I think you're going to be very excited
by the Hunter tier set. I know you're
often quite down on the tier set, but I
think this time we may have something
very special for you. Genuinely, there's
some absolute bangers in this. This that
we're seeing on screen right now is not
one of the tier sets. I just didn't want
to spoil it for you in the intro.
>> Oh, I like this one.
>> Yeah, this is like the renown set, you
know. Can I uh get maybe some
predictions from you of the kind of
themes we might be seeing in this?
>> Okay. I've got kind of like three core
pillars here.
>> Okay.
>> One is trolls.
>> It's likely, isn't it?
>> One is snakes.
>> Yeah, I I think that's probably quite
likely.
>> And the third is green.
>> Green poison.
>> Venom. Venom.

these. We'll both be giving them scores
out of 10. And we'll decide which is the
best tier set in 12.1. Then you'll know
once we've told you.

your first impressions of this one.
>> Oh my god. Is this an oath breaker?
>> Oh, it kind of is.
>> This This is a bad insane flame effects
on the puldrons. Look at the little like
scrolls up in flames on his shoulders.
>> Oh, like Arat.
>> Like Artor not burning in the light. And
it's on his on the sides of the legs,
too. Like the first thing that jumps out
at me is like the level of ornate detail
on all of the armor. It is so pretty.
>> This is like a proper 12th century
French jousting, isn't it? And this is
actually literally a jousting helmet is
the style they've done this.
>> I love that. It's so elegant and mean
>> and again not like anything we've ever
had really before for these plate armor
sets. I think that's so cool.
>> Yeah. I feel like there's something
really nice about like the textures
where they look really really high- res
and like they have a bit of shine to
them. They just pop.
>> Is really poisony. That looks like an
old warrior set with that color.
>> It does. It does look like the warrior
set.
>> The normal is like that's like so
ornate.
>> That's so over the top and like for a
paladin that's amazing. I love that.
>> That's an amazing paladin set. And I
love like on the back on the cloak
you've got this like rose window
basically in the back.
>> It's got like religious stylings, right?
So, it's like ceremonial armor in a way.
You've got like, you know, the these uh
the chest piece is incredible. And I
love the way it carries down into it's
like a tabard in itself, right? Um and
like the the folds in the chest kind of
cloth. They look really good. You know,
usually I'm not down with these 2D
elements, but this these ones really
work actually. And like the torch in the
actual spers,
>> those are like stained glass windows.
And there's like this is like a
cathedral.
>> You are your own walking cathedral. You
are your own cathedral.
>> It's amazing, isn't it? The mythic is
like,
>> "Oh my god, it's so good."
>> They went, "Make me a death knight but
alive." This is a top tier pad set.
>> This is an amazing set. That cloak is
beautiful. The details are amazing.
>> I almost wish that the the fire on the
mythic one wasn't so pronounced. I kind
of prefer it on the heroic and
>> the more subdued ones.
>> But the helmet is like literally one of
the best helmets in the game.
>> It's so good.
>> I'm so into the helmet. Like,
>> and again, it's got the little details
along the side along like the chin piece
with and look and look.
>> And I love how like look at the details
on the gold bits. Like they all they are
detailed. Like they're not just a solid
bit of gold plunked in there. That's
what really makes this one shine. And
like in between all of the different
colors like the brown and the red and
little gems, you've got like these
lovely outlines that like really make it
pop. This for me is like a easily a 9
and 1 half out of 10. This is like a top
performer. This has done it for me. I
love it. I'm going to play a paladin
now.
>> I'm giving this a nine. Uh, I'd score it
a 10. I think the fire is a bit over the
top on the mythic one.
>> Said no one ever.
>> And also, I feel like I've seen these
gloves somewhere before as well. I feel
like if you told me these gloves had
appeared on a different tier set, I
believe you. I know. Who cares, right?
But that's going to that's going to take
it down from a 10 for me. Uh, so I'm
going to give it a nine.

set?
>> I'm I'm prepared.

marksman. I'm a ranger. I'm an elegant
hunter, huntress. I don't need to wear
the skin of my conquests. That's what I
do in real life.

>> They made it so bad and mean that it is
like it kind of does it for me. I mean,
it it it looks kind of janky, but in a
kind of a Wrath or BC way, right? Which
I actually kind of really like.
>> Just like these janky like snake heads
above us like uh same head, right? Same
head. Look.
>> Yes. I I like how uh you've got that
kind of like predator mask underneath.
>> Oh, that is that's pretty cool actually.
>> And you have turned the snake head into
a hood rather than a full helm. Like
that I think looks really really cool.
Fangs everywhere, scales everywhere. I
think the shift away from bones to fangs
>> is is welcome.
>> This is normal. Let's go uh LFR.
>> Oh, I I like LFR.
>> Okay, let's go heroic.
>> Oh,
>> wow. Okay, that's uh
>> Wow,
>> that's an interesting one. I'm not sure
how I feel about that one. The yellow
really pops for me. Bit Power Rangers,
but okay. And mythic.

>> Oh, well nasty. Nasty, right? Actually,
a lot of these sets are pretty nasty,
aren't they?
>> They are. I love the the glow coming
from under the puldrons, but also it's
it's everywhere. Like it's on the side
of the
>> travel. The glow is like coming from
underneath rather than on. And I really
like that. Like the glow is seeping
through
>> Yeah. It's seeping through kind of like
the scales and stuff. And it's even on
your cloak, too. Um Oh, your trousers
are covered in blood.
>> Oh my god.
>> You've literally just

>> You've literally put on the skin of
>> That's what I meant. Yeah, that's what I
meant to say. Is that the same on like
the other ones as well? Oh yeah, you've
got little blood stains on all of them.

>> Like you can just imagine this hunter
like in in the bathrooms like trousers
under the hand dryer like
>> and the paladin comes in like you okay

>> There's a bit like kind of much going on
in like textures. Like there's a lot.
That's what I mean when it feels like
TBC or whatever. I like this set as
well. My favorite thing about this set
is this necklace.
>> Yeah.
>> Which is 3D. I'm glad they didn't paint
it on. And that means it's going to show
over Tabards and stuff. And it's going
to look really really cool. I'm well
into like 3D elements that show above
tabards. It adds like a whole other
dimension to like transmog and stuff
like that. And the mask is just like so
old school. Wow. It really is.

>> In a way, none of these look like an
actual set. They look like they've been
coupled together from different trans
>> ones,
>> which is maybe true to being a hunter.
>> Mythic one is probably the most
consistent but
>> yeah, maybe. Maybe. I think it looks
mean. I think it looks nasty. Uh, I'm
giving it an eight. I really like it. I
really like it.
>> Yeah, I'm torn. I I do really like it.
>> I guess I'm going to give it I'll give
it a 7.5.

>> Yeah. Well, I feel like we've had an
Alfarian set.

>> before, but this is even nastier. And
this is a dirty nasty one, actually.

That's the kind of the snaky poisony
version. And I like that dragon. I
actually think that's really awesome.
Echo of Calamity, right? So, it's
Deathwing. It's heroic.
>> I like it. I like how it replicates the
look of a Drafe like chest, the kind of
the lighter chest on you. Yeah,
>> I love the podrons.
>> The pron
look how like the rock pulsating on the
shoulders there.
>> Like they're they're DRAGGING THE
>> OH, THE QUIVERING.
WAIT, we're going to we're going to
watch that again in the high as well.
>> Yeah, let's see. Yeah.

>> And it is like he's encased in rock and
he's trying to break out or something.
>> Yes. Yeah, that one's actually not my
favorite. No, they tried to do the uh
the shadow flame look here, but hasn't
really the mask doesn't work either. I
actually don't like this one, but the
other ones I think look really Yeah,
like normal and heroic look insanely
good. Um
>> I can't stop looking at the shadow. The
shoulders is really different.
>> And so we got this.
>> WOW.
>> WOW. OKAY, SO THE OTHER ones just kind
of lurch. They're just slightly aroused
and then the mythic one goes full. Wow.
Oh my god.
>> Um wow.
Does it does it ever go down again? Is
it stuck up there?
>> It's just stuck like that.
>> Does it ever go down?
>> I need to know.
>> Might have to go to a doctor.
>> Does it? Yeah. Seriously, if if you if
you're protruding FROM IT DOES GO DOWN.
IT STAYS OUT FOR AGES and then it goes
down. Holy [ __ ] These shoulders are 10
out of 10. They've got literal They've
got literal Deathwing heads on them.
>> Yeah, I like those. I really like those.
And like in Dragon Flight, we got all
these very elegant like Draier sets. You
know, Dra were all about like having
being a dragon but like refined and
swooping and stuff. And this has
elements of that, but it's also like you
we've said with so many of the other
sets,
>> it makes me so happy. It's a bad dragon.
>> It sparks joy.
>> I like this joy. It's a bit Batman,
>> but I like it.
>> It's a bit like ' 90s Batman when
everything had to be shiny and kind of
metallic right?
>> I like it. Oh, and there he is ON THE
BACK TOO.
>> BIG OLD FACE.
>> NOW, that looks That's a 2D thing.
That's one of the best 2D cloaks I've
ever seen. That's like very very good. I
would go as far as to say this is one of
my favorite evoker sets. I think um in
Zarlech there was a really good again
deathwing themed set which worked really
well.
>> I am a sucker for a Deathwing,
>> but it didn't have shoulders that
pulsated like this.
>> I remember actually last tier set video
we did, we were lamenting that we felt
like the Evoker designs had run out of
ideas. They were always just like very
iridescent and they always looked really
good. And this is like technically going
back to an older idea as well, but just
doing it really really well. And it's a
bit different and it feels really good.
>> Yeah, I love it. I'm going to say
>> an eight.
>> There's a part of me that wants to give
it an 8.5, but that that's unfair
because the only reason I'm really
giving it that is because it's better
compared to lackluster evokets of the
past, right? So, I don't know if that's
really fair, but I mean, the pulsating
shoulders are so good. The mythic ones
give me so much joy. I'm giving mine an
8.25.
>> 8.25 for me. Yeah.
>> Nice.
>> If this didn't say what it was on the
screen, I'm not sure you'd know that
this was Rogue. This is Rogue.
>> I love that for Rogues.
>> YEAH, ME TOO.
>> I LOVE THIS FOR ROGUE.
>> SO, so like when I when I first saw
this, I was just like, you know,
scooting through them. I was like, "Oh,
I hate that. Oh, it's for Rogue. I love
it."
>> This being a rogue set. Oh, wait. Look
at that headpiece. That Wait, that is
not stealthy. Your troll is going to
look insane in this.
>> Yeah, you know it. I mean, it's going to
look absolutely crazy.
>> Do you think troll tusks are going to
multitask over here? Yeah. Multitasking.
>> Only only the female trolls are good at
multitasking.
>> Exactly. And again, I love a bit of
flesh, something just strapped on there.

>> Yeah. And I just
>> only on my birthday though, right?
>> I love the crisscrossing straps. I love
how he's like, "Yeah, I got my pants on.
I got my little scarf on.
>> I love the crisscrossing straps. They're
so down. They are so dirty. You want to
see some different colors? Raidfinder.
>> Nice green. I like the green. A heroic.
I love the heroic.
>> That's the hero. But I think the mythic
is actually the best one on this.

Got some feathers on this side and not
on this side.
>> Exactly. Oh, cuz the puldrons are
they're different. So you've got one
which is one of
>> and they're just carved and painted.
>> And the other one is just
>> basically really basic looking. I think
that's just really cool. Wood on the
hood. Wood on the hood.

>> If there's wood on the hood, the
transmog is good. Savage and brutal in a
way that we haven't seen from rogue sets
for a while. Cuz usually like I have
vials of poison. I'm like I got my
knick-knacks and my duads and my bloody
blurs. But this is just like I'm going
to walk up to you and stab you. This is
this is Shadow Hunter stuff, right? This
is
>> Oh, absolutely. Yeah. I need to see what
this looks like on a girl. Sorry.
>> Okay.
>> Okay. So, you you do get like a bra
piece underneath the cloth.
>> That's literally what you were checking.
>> Yes. I was It' be just like Blizz at
this stage to have some proper side boob
going on and I'd be really into that. I
think that be I'm actually really I'm
actually have to see on a troll as well.
So, that's it on a troll. And I mean,
this is as it's meant to be seen, right?
This is like the eyes look amazing. It
does look like one of those old like uh
cut scenes.

>> it's like a proper Zulu Jin thing going
on. Multitasking confirmed.
>> You know me, I love it when they take a
strong theme and when they just go for
it. Really bad clinging with the belt
there, but it's troll stuff. You know,
you don't mind.

cool. I think having this as an option
for a rogue is nuts.
>> Yeah, I love it, too. And for that
reason, I think I'm going to give it the
same score as you. Actually, I was going

It's so simple. It had a bit more going
on the chest there. I want to give it
>> would have given it a full other point.
>> I want to give it a nine. Honestly, I'm
a million% into it. Eight and a half.

straight to mythic. Hang on.

There's like definitely a snake theme
going on here.

yeah, this is a very trolly shaman,
isn't it? Right.
>> Yeah. I mean, the puldrons are like the
showpiece, right? They are. They are so
so cool.
>> Are they dumb as
>> Yeah, they're absolutely insane. Can I
see the other colors?
>> Yeah, sure. Very very blue.
>> Love blue.
>> Yeah. Uh and we've got very very green
and purple. Green and purple the
official colors of this patch, right?
You know,
>> I like rafinder, too.
>> For me, it's really
Yeah, this is really really good. I
mean, the puldrons are are insane. And I
wish the snakes like, you know, snapped
at you or something. And then you've got
this like very kind of standard like
mask, which I think is like pretty cool.
Looks good on a on a troll. The dress,
the shaman dress is fine. I think they
saw the headpiece and the shoulders and
they're like, we need to kind of tone
down the rest just to make sure it's not
too much. It allows the shoulders to
really sing and everything else is like
pretty subdued.
>> I I actually the normal one is the only
one I really love if I'm honest. I feel
like there's a lack of contrast in the
others. Like particularly this one, I
hate it. It's kind of like just all
blue. Just like a blue sock. Like a blue
condom. Like a a scarded blue condom.
>> I just can't help but feel particular
from the back. I know this is a troll
and shoulder pads always look weird on
trolls, but Shaman, they're either
casting like this.
>> Yeah.
>> Or they're hitting with their hammers
like this.
>> And it's just like I think these
shoulder pads are going to be kind of
>> weird. Okay.
>> When it's doing any of that like going
off to the side. Like I love looking at
it still not doing anything, but I just
kind of feel like in action you're not
going to get any of the impact of this
set. Does that make sense?
>> Yeah. You know what I wish they did? I
wish they went like full Oollettech on
this one and literally made your
headpiece like another snake head so
that you were like a kind of like
multi-headed snake. That's what I
thought this was when I first saw it and
I was like, "Ooh." But you know what? I
still really like it. I think for the
shoulder pieces alone, it's a it's a
really strong set. Well, you definitely
want it in your collection, don't you?
You don't want to be like, I wish I got
those short those snake shoulders.
>> Yeah, I didn't just get I didn't get the
set.
>> I regret not getting the snake
shoulders. Right. Yeah. And and and good
news, everyone, because the uh the
normal set is the best one, so it' be
really easy to get. It's a really
average set with I love the idea of it
much more than I actually love it.
>> I got I get what you're saying.
>> Does that make sense?
>> I'm giving this a solid seven out of 10.
I like it.
Uh, but it's kind of dragged down by the
most of the most of the action.
>> If it was just a normal set, I'd give it
a seven as well, but I think the other
sets aren't as good. And I'm going to
give it I'm going to give it a six.

>> Oh, a literal intake of breath from you
as YOU IT MADE YOU GASP. THE DRUID MADE
YOU GASP.
>> Is that like a 10 out of 10 gasp? Is
that a one out of 10? Is that like
>> That's a You don't look like your
photos.
>> Yeah. No, these feathers are massive.
Um, this is
>> this is nasty. This is a nasty set. Look
at this. Look at these nasty roots. The
the dead tree stump uh shoulder pads. I
I feel it pertinent to point out that
the other versions of this don't have
such big feathers. So, if that changes
things for you, you got like a moldy
tree there.
>> How old school this set look? This is
like from another time.
>> Yeah, it really is actually.
>> Yeah. I love the color contrast on
these.
>> That's kind of cool. Uh, I think the
mythic is I mean the mythic's got some
[ __ ] going on, but the other two don't,
right? The other three don't.
>> I think it's fun to have like a kind of
a nasty druid set. I'm going to get
hexed, right? Like tree of death.
>> Yeah, I'm absolutely going to get hexed
by this guy.
>> I love the way that the uh the Nile
branches on the helmet carry on into
ghost branches. It's got you got real
branches and they go into ghost branches
cuz this is a dead tree.
>> Look how dead it is.
>> So dead. I love this one. This is like
uh like souped up night elf colors. If
you look at like the actual details on
whatever the belt and the dress, like
there's a really high level of like
contrast and definition, there's often
like a literally a black outline like
around every color and it gives it it
just like really makes them pop.
>> I know other sets that elements of this
will go with right and that you'll be
able to kind of like interchange and
>> I love this color way. This to me is
like just straight up classic. Wow.
There's something about it. And again, I
think it's like the high contrast going
on as well between the colors. I
actually think the mythic one is one of
my least lesser favorites.
>> I actually really like the mythic one.
The mythic one's by far my favorite.
Really?
>> Yeah. I really love it. Nothing really
surprising about this set, but it is
nasty and it is dirty and nicely
executed.
>> Yeah. And it's really oldfashioned
feeling, which I I genuinely appreciate.
>> I'm going to give this a solid seven.
Yeah, I'm not in love with all of it,
but I think the colorways are really
striking. I think they really work. I
just think it's a fun nasty druid.
>> Yeah, I'm probably going to give it a
6.5. I do really like it. 6.5 sounds
like I don't really like it. Uh if they
all had these amazing feathers that the
mythic one does, I'd give it a seven or
maybe even more.
>> I love the silhouette of this one. I
think what the other ones lack is like a
really strong silhouette. I'm with you
actually,
>> you know, and I feel like yeah, the
silhouette on this one,
>> if they were all like this, I'd score it
much higher.
>> Yeah,
>> regardless of the colors and stuff, I
color white anyway. So, yeah. No, six
and a half for me. Uh, this is Priest.
>> Wow. Would you like to talk about this
one first?
>> As a Priest player, I am so happy. Are
you kidding? Look at this [ __ ] This is
amazing. Right. Okay. So, like first
Okay, so first off, the general
silhouette is amazing. Really good.
Classic priest. No mistaking what that
is from a million miles away. The scary
mask.
>> The The scary like almost weeping angels
mask.
>> You say it's scary. I say it's sexy.
>> Ed Norton in Kingdom of Heaven.
>> Quite often the same thing when For me,
that's why I ended up with you. Even
better than the scary sexy mask. Even
better than the glowing halo.
>> That's insane.
>> The faces in the portals. Go.
>> It's amazing. And it's like that's it's
your face. It's your offspecs. If if
your disc, this is your holy going,
"Well, play me. You haven't even set up
my UI." And that shadow going, "Please
take me into an instance. I'm sick of
just doing questing. Help me." It's you
and your specs.
>> I love that.
>> You know, uh, it's a raider.
I mean, the random yellow glow of the
portals on the rafinder.
>> Sickly. And that looks even more
statuesque there. Looks even more like
you're like literally a gargle or
something. Heroic. I don't love so much.
Looks a bit magy to me. and Mythic. Oh.
>> Oh, wait.
>> Yeah, I know, man. It's nuts, isn't it?
>> Like full on array kind of flaming halo.
>> And people are there going, "Oh, the
array of the bad guys after the last
iron. Be warned. Danger. Don't trust
them. They're the baddies after Last
Titan. Oh, no. Don't trust the emperor.
There's nobody seen the texture having
like the the kind of the paper robes
flowing down again from the chest piece
into the I it's a dress, isn't it? So,
it's going like that. And I I just love
the the folds of like the scarf thick
around your neck really goes up around
there.
>> Isn't it amazing?
>> That is an set. And you know, you're a
priest, so you've got your little bell
sleeves like you've always
you got Yeah. So, like you say, the
silhouette is like unmistakable. Um the
details are cool. It's really coherent.
Yeah.
>> Right. Again, it like it looks really
>> just a strong design. This is a 10 out
of 10 for me.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. So that

It literally looks like

That's who I am. And I'm getting ready
for my match against the Scaven Blight
Runners, right? And it's like, Mhm.
Yeah. Okay. And again, I think this is
one of the ones where it it is like,
"Hey, we made a sick helm and shoulders,
so let's kind of I wouldn't say they
toned down the rest of the I would I
think they did." Yeah.
>> Yeah. I mean, it's highly detailed. It's
very cool. It looks It's great. Like, I
love all the individual pieces. I love
the sheer number of like interlocking,
you know, skeletal deathy like kind of
pieces, but they've kind of like lowered
the contrast on them a bit. So they've
kind of pushed in the background so the
other stuff can shine and I get that and
sometimes I love that and other times
I'm like h why not make it all pop, you
know?
>> Yeah. Well, I'm like that. And I think
that the colorways that really work for
me on this are the ones with like super
high contrast between those elements. So
this one works.
>> Like the the glow on this one, it really
pops me. The the the kind of the
contrast with the pink underneath the
green, I think looks brilliant. the
mythic one. If they all made me feel
like this one, then it would be a 9 or
10 out of 10 set. I think this is
brilliant. I like I don't know why, but
I it makes me feel like I want to eat
some sweets or like have a bath bomb.
I'm just not such a fan of I mean,
they're fine, but they just don't have
the same kind of impact.

Shadowlands vibe to it. You show me that
chest piece in 5 minutes, I wouldn't be
able to tell you what set it's from.

chest, I'm going to be like, "Oh, yeah,
that's tum."
I like it because it makes me think of
Blood Bowl. I love Blood Bowl.

of it in any other color way, but this.

a death knight through and through. The
pieces are really cool and like

shoulders are amazing. The helmet's
amazing. But honestly, it doesn't spark

the set itself without those things is a

five and a half.

horns, it gives it a real kind of almost
dark moon fair look to it. Like this is
a little goofy.

they're going for. The shackles which
are just like insane.
The corruption traveling up your arms is
like

>> Yeah. It's kind of taking you over,
right? And I I I think that's really
cool. And um but there's just something
a bit saucy about it as well. You know,
it's not it's not nasty. It's saucy.
Saucy are always saucy.
>> Well, I don't know. Sometimes they and
we've seen some really nasty sets in in
this lineup as well. The mask is very
goofy.
>> Yeah. I like the chains cuz you know,
obviously you're in shackles.
>> Yeah. The thing that makes it stand out
for me as a set, well, the shackles are
great. Like, yay. We love the shackles.
They're fantastic. I love like the
corrupted shoulder pads. I think they're
really really good as well. Um, but the
thing that really makes it stand out is
how hot the the glow is.
>> Oh, the is such like a neon glow.
>> It's so powerful and that's what
warlocks always do best.
>> Yeah, totally.
>> The neon glow is so Warlock.
>> Yeah, there's no one that's using this
kind of glow in any of the sets either.
>> I love when like fire effects in WoW
verge on like hot pink as opposed to
red. I feel like that makes it like
really gives it a little something. Oh,
and just the contrast. It's like so
contrasty.
>> And you just can see this guy from a
mile away in the dark. This is not a
stealth set. The effect on the hands is
outrageous. Far too much. Like so extra.
No one needs that. You don't need that
much effect. But I love it. It's It's
like you dipped your hands in to grab
the thing.
>> Bit of storytelling in a tear set is
always going to do it for me. And this
is the damned necroytes shattered
restraint.
>> Oh yeah. This is someone who went too
far and has had to be restrained but
still came out. So

me. I love that his sleeves have ripped

like the actual kind of body of the sets

shoulders here. I love the tassels.
Dude, these these are particularly good
tassels. Really good tassels, I got to
say. But like this belt could be from
literally any monk set. This tunic could
be from any It's good. I really like it.
These trousers I think literally are
from another monk set. Probably not. So,
no disrespect. Um, and but they look
good, but you can place the set just
from this.

>> And then what they do is they just give
it a different animal head every time.
So, we've had dragon like we've had like
the mou and now we've got I think this
one might be my favorite.

Look at that. And I love how he is made
of like wood and like feathers and and
and rope.
>> It's almost like a folk festival
costume, you know, which I I really
like.
>> And with like the little paint markings
on him, he is such a Oh my god, look at

all of these tier set monk helmets as
decor cuz I love the idea of like the
monk just comes out and he's in his
robes, man. He's just like ready to go
out. He's like, "Which stupid hat shall
I wear? Which outrageous mask shall I
wear today? Which one's it going to And
like it would be great if I could line
them all up in my player house to pick
out like I'm in the batcave or
something.

the designer coming in one day and like
showing this and then being like what?
Uhhuh. They're like you said the to do
the monkey set. It's like no no we said

monks are inherently a little bit silly.
I just love the whole concept of it. I

and like on beefier races, this is going
to look like

into that. I think that's really, really
cool. Here is the warrior set. The
groundbreaking warriors set. Warriors
will never be the same ever again after
this set. I mean, it surely changes what
you think a warrior could possibly be.
>> Yeah. I love how it's not just two
horns. It's got like the mono horn in
the middle.
>> It has. It's got like a rhinoceros horn
on it. I didn't even see that.
>> It's different from the other ones. The
other ones are like crafted. This one is
like a horn of nature.

it's got other nature horns. Uh dare I
say even quite a huntery set in that
regard. A little bit. It's got some kind
of ivory on the puldrons here, but
they're pierced.

>> They are Metson horns.
>> One piercing on each side. This if
Metsson had horns, this is what they'd
be like.
>> Yes. The fur It's quite nice. Again,
this makes me think of a hunter set,
right?
>> Honestly, the fur kind of makes this set
for me. Like this furry kind of neck,
like the cloak coming over, and it's got
like a kind of a hooded bit, like big
ruffled bit at the back here and uh
coming down all the way past the
neckline. That's what makes this set.
This set's good because of that, if you
ask me.
>> Yes. Um I like that. I'm always a huge
fan of like talons on gloves. I think
that's one of my favorite.
Yeah. I like how there's like flesh and
fur and metal. It's like it's it's
pretty savage.
>> Wear this one down the ring of glory.
>> With the little guy on my belt to watch.

well, it looked like it was a little

haven't ever really seen in WoW before.

which I actually really like. Yeah, I
think that's Can you show me the back?

have to ask us. I know. We haven't had
like a really good straight up furry
cloak for quite a while, have we? Oh,
no. That cloak doesn't fit at all.
That's got to be the belt. The belt and

>> And it's on the trim of the neckline,
too. So, it's um I don't know.
>> I don't know if I'm loving this color
combo.
>> Yeah, I don't like that one.
>> Not for mythic.
>> Yeah, the blue's not working doing it

is quite different from the other sets
thematically that we're seeing in 12.1.

looking at are really dirty and nasty,
and this one's kind of I want a dirty

spray that dirty mustard, ketchup, and
mayo. And I just want all over the

a really good hood at the back, which
mages don't actually have much of. You
get a lot of this with warrior sets, but
like a good big

that's actually worth its weight in

do the magic.

Beautiful. Like so good. It's the same
shoulder on each side. It's a shame
they're not different. It's a shame.
Like it is. It is literally the same
shoulder. We're fine. Nothing wrong with
that. Kind of like frosty effects. Very
strong on that one. The fur and stuff.
Frost mage is like I'm frost mage.
Obviously I want fur and stuff on me cuz
I'm cold.

like, "Come on, fire mage. Let's go and
kill the baddy." And the fire mage just
be like that.

got Doom Hounds on the shoulder.

bit janky. They'll fix that, I'm sure.
The loop that elevates it very strongly
for me. And the the pink glow on this
one really elevates it as well. So, the
mythic one I'm a huge fan of.

your thighs out and they and they wrap
around quite like

style bones. Like that is proper kind of

>> I do like the detail on the midrift
piece. I think that's cool. Like that
that leather work there. That's very
nice. The Joker's pretty nice. The the
mask is too sexy.
>> It's got literal like Batman and Robin

>> This is like way too too masquerade for

actually like a DC Yeah. He literally
just got his little choker on.
>> I really like the chunkiness of the
gloves with the leather studs right
around like wrapped around it. That's
that's really cool. I like that a lot.
Um but I don't know, man. It doesn't
sing to me as a as a set.

nothing I dislike about it really.

literally look at the monk set and it's
that thing of like, oh, what's the
what's the version of the monk set that
they've done? What's the thing they've
chosen to put on it? And with monks,
it's always delightful. And here it's
the Doom Hounds. And it's like, yeah,
it's cool.

really, though, is it? I do like the way
that the trim of the uh the shoulders
forms like a golden jaw, like lower jaw
of the skull. I think that's pretty
cool.

like them to actually be more trolly.
The rogue set super trolly. Why can't
they do it with this as well? Just make

Uh, I'm going to give it a five and a
half. Yeah. And those are the final
scores. Very sadly, the demon hunters
finish bottom of the tier. In number
three, we have that absolute classic
rogue set.
>> It's the Zulu Jin set.
>> Shadow Hunter Club, right?
>> Big big love. What I think is one of the
best paladin sets of all time in number
two.
>> This is insane.
>> Just absolute classic.
>> This is like a stained glass window,
>> French gallantry. But I think a very
very worthy winner this time out. Uh
which is the preset. Like just genuinely
really enjoy it. It's a solid preset.
It's It's looking at it now, it's like a
lot more simple than a lot of the other
ones, but it tells a story. It's a good
idea, isn't it?

>> The faces are all about the faces.
>> They're so good. Um and like very
evocative of other past sets and things
for priests as well. So, just like just
an absolute winner, I think. A very very
worthy winner. Now, we did have druid
and mage finish in joint ninth place.

actually wear.
