the most out of your Opus Clip account, which will help you get the most out of you need to do when you're using Opus Clip is to share a link into your Opus you have to do is go to the video that you are wanting to share on YouTube and
copy the link from the top bar, or you can grab it from the share link right the link, you go back into your Opus Clip account, and then right here in this box, you paste the link. As you can see, once you paste the link, Opus Clip
information here. The very first is the language. So, you want to make sure that because this is how it's going to pick the clips. You have the option to upload would like. In most cases, it's not needed, but it's there just in case.
clipping area, you're going to see that we have the clip model. It's by default it at this, but if you do want to choose, you can choose clip basic or clip anything. But, in most cases, if you just leave it on auto, it's going to
need. Next, we have the genre of content. If you click into this, then you can choose the genre. So, in this stream that I'm pulling in, it's a Q&A stream, so I want to let Opus Clip know that so that it can use that information
to find the best clips. Next, we have clip length. Now, in this case, I'm YouTube Shorts, so I want to make sure that I keep them under 3 minutes. However, if you do want to make them very short, let's say up to 59 seconds,
or you want to make them longer up to 15 minutes, you can also do that. But, this length of your clips. And for this example, I am going to make it to where they are 59 seconds or less. Next is the auto hook option. Now, this is on by
default, and what this does is this will automatically put text on the screen on your video for the top 10 videos that it clips for you. You want to have this on with content without the audio on in a lot of different scenarios. So, by doing
this, it will give the viewer context. And this area here, let you include a example, you talked about a movie in your content and you want to isolate those clips, then you just put that information here and Opus Clip will find
them for you. Underneath that, we have the processing time frame. Now, in most and that sort of thing and you're wanting to get to the actual content, to make sure that you do trim off the beginning of this because that does work
to save you money if you do this. So, all you have to do is grab this handle right here and then you move it up to where it's only going to start clipping wherever that starts in your videos. And then this one right here lets you trim
off the end. So, for example, in this live stream we do here, we say a lot of people and mention sponsors and that sort of thing and that doesn't really make for great clipped content. So, because of that, I like to trim that
area off as well. Now, once that's set up, you can hit the get clips in one click option or you can come down here and go into the preset options. Now, here because I set up a fresh new Opus Clip account for this video, so because
of that, I don't have the brand assets in here like I do in my regular account. So, because of that, we're going to create those later in the video. But, if do is click on your template and it's going to automatically apply it to your
more sense here later in the video. But, if you don't have any templates or presets, you can use the ones that are already here from Opus Clip. And if you sort through them to find the perfect fit for you. In this case, I'm going to
use karaoke. And then right down here, you choose your aspect ratio. So, with this, I'm going to make this 9 by 16 so that it's vertical so I can put this across social media, but you can also choose 1 by 1, which is square, 16 by 9,
which is landscape video, or 4 by 5. From there, once you have the aspect ratio set up, you can choose save settings above as default and what make sure that you don't have to go through that process every time you pull
faster. But, once it's all set up, I'm going to hit get clips in one click. And Now, while that's processing in the background, I'm going to take you through a tour of Opus Clip. First, after you submit your first clip, then
connect your YouTube account. I'm going to show you where to do this later as do is click this button, and what it's going to allow you to do is after your are uploaded, it's going to automatically pull them into Opus Clip,
as well. So, first, let's start over here with the navigation. So, over here option to invite team members. How this you with your content, you can click on that. You can name your team, and then
want to upload just for easy identification, then you can just click in there as well. And then you click on create team. And when you do that, Opus Clip is going to give you a unique URL that you can click this button to copy,
and you can send this to up to four of your team members to allow them access to your account. Once you do that, you can click up here in the top right-hand going to go to the brand templates. This is really cool.
they're going to walk you through when it comes to setting all of this up. In this case, I'm going to select the 9 by 16 aspect ratio option. Then, in step number two, you get to choose your animation style for your captions. In
this case, I'm just going to choose this karaoke one, and click next. And then, also do that. In this case, I'm just going to come up here and choose the Opus Clip logo. And then, I'm going to click save my templates. So, as you can
see right here, it put the logo really big on the screen. click on that logo, and then I'm going to make this small, and I'm just going to put it right up here in the corner so that it's just a compliment to what it
is that I'm doing, but it doesn't overtake the content. Once you have your you're adding, the next thing I want to show you is the layout settings. So up here, you turn on the different layout options that you are okay with. So if
you're a marketer or you make talking head videos or podcasts or something want to turn off the gameplay if you're not going to be using that. If you're not sharing your screen then you want to turn that one off, but if you are, you
want to make sure that you do have that on. Split screen divides your screen vertically in half. Four is great if you have multiple guests, but if you don't, then you want to turn that off. The three option is four if you have three
everybody's on screen when they're talking. And then with the layout, I recommend that you keep both of these on because it gives it more flexibility. So screen like you see in the demo. And then the fit one will put your main
blur on the top and the bottom so that you can see the entirety of your clip. And when it comes to that fit view, you can also choose the original aspect ratio here, 4 by 3 or 1 by 1. And of course, depending on your use case, you
can also adjust the output aspect ratio here. So with this, you can do 1 by 1, you can also do 16 by 9, you can do 4 by 5, and of course, you can do regular vertical 9 by 16. So for my use case, I'm going to turn off gameplay.
I'm going to turn off four and three. And I'm going to leave everything else set to exactly how it is right now. Next, we're going to go down to So if you look right here, you can see how the captions are showing up here.
So what this does is this allows you to be able to customize some of the options inside of your captions. So you can choose any of Opus Clip's presets to get going to stick with karaoke. But if I want to change the font, then I can
click on font and then from here, I can choose a different font from the drop down. And you can see here when I make that change, then it makes it over here something more fun, you can use something like this. If you want
professional, then you can use something like this. And then of course, if you want bigger captions, you can make them bigger. This option here adjust the font weight, so if you want it bold, light, regular, or very bold, you can do that.
example, I'm just going to choose light, and then you can see how it changes what But we're going to change this back to black, just cuz that looks nice, big, bold, easy to read at a glance. And if you want to italicize it, you can, same
with underlining. Next, uppercase is set by default, but if you want to turn that off, you can. The font stroke is the border that is around all of the letters. So with this, you can make this bigger if you want, and you can see how
it gets a little bit thicker, or you can completely remove it and just show the But in this case, I'm going to take it to, let's say, 15, and then I can also change this, if I wanted to, to, let's say, white, and then I can come up here
to the font color, and I can change this to black. And then that way I can create I want to represent my content, and you can do the same. Now for the shadows down here, we also have the option to where we can add bigger shadows if we
want to. So if you have a larger font stroke, as we do in this case, then we want to make sure that whatever drop shadow that we're using, that that drop shadow is also enough to where it's standing out against that. So in this
case, with the larger stroke, I'm going to have this set to 6 6 and 5. So the 6 for the X axis, the 6 for the Y axis, and then the 5 for the blur strength. choose where the captions are going to show on the screen. Now remember, what
up a brand template, and once we have this brand template set up, when you are pulling a piece of content in from Opus Clip, you can just select this once it's able to have all of this already set up
that brand template. In most cases, the best use case is having it set to auto, so Opus Clip can move them around if it needs to. But, if you want to, you can bottom, or you can put it into a custom position and just move it anywhere it is
screen. And another nuance that I just want to bring to your attention is you can see when I'm moving this around how on the demo screen right here, there's a white border that goes around everything. That white border is where
the social media platforms, it's where their content is going to be. So, you your captions around that you do not put your captions within that white cloudy type of area. You want to make sure that it is within this safe range right here.
style, and I encourage you to play with each one of these because they all give a different vibe to your clips. But, in my case, I like to use the bounce, and I also like to use the underline to where it'll underline keywords. And for that,
focused when somebody's reading the captions, and that's my preference when preference is going to be your preference. Now, another thing I want to bring to your attention is the highlight word color. So, you can see here how the
green on this word matches the green here. So, we can change this to where any highlight word is whatever color it is that we want. So, in this case, if I wanted it to be red, then it would make it to where the highlight color would be
red. Next is the overlay. So, when it comes to the overlay, we already have the logo set up here. That's what that is. Now, keep in mind, you can use this for more than just a logo. So, for example, if you have a graphic that you
like to put around your clips, then you can load that here, and then it'll well. For the intro and outro, this is where you can upload custom clips. So, if you always want to say the same thing at the beginning, or you always want to
let's say for example, a call to action to visit your website, or to hire you, case, you can add those videos here. Next, we have music. So, with music, you can select this if If do want to add music to the background, you can do that
here. As a part of your brand template settings, you can also do some presets around how your content is edited. For example, we have the option here to remove filler words that you can turn on so that every time you select that brand
apply that. You can do the same with pauses. You can do that with the keyword highlighter like I showed you before. You can turn emojis on and off. So, in this example, you can see the emoji here, but I can click on this to turn
that off. You also have the option here to auto generate stock b-roll. So, how looks at everything that's happening in your clips and what it is that you're saying in your clips, and then it finds b-roll that's appropriate for what it is
that you're saying. It's a really cool feature. Next, we have auto transitions. So, when it comes to auto transitions, if you are changing from scene to scene, option here and you can see the preview if you hover over these in terms of how
have the option here to also add those once your brand template is set up, all you have to do is click save template saved. Now, what we just did is we just
perfectly okay. But, if you want to set all of that, then all you have to do is come up here to the preset template template and then you can go through that same exact process. Next, we have
to the asset library, this is more than just a place to upload images and videos. You also have some additional controls here. So, for example, if we look up here at the top, we see the There's a censored word list. So, the
curse words are in here by default, but if you have specific words that you want to make sure that are never clipped or that you never say in your clips, then you can just click here to add those words. Next, we have brand vocabulary.
So, what this is for is if you have a company name that has a unique spelling or anybody on your team has a unique name that you speak about a lot in your clips or anything that you are communicating about in your clips has a
vocabulary allows you to add the unique spellings to your account so that when Opus Clip is writing captions, that it ensures that it's going to write the right thing so that you don't have to edit them later. So, you add those words
to this section here. If you have custom fonts that are a part of your brand or your account, then you can add those here. Here in the media section, this is where you can upload images, videos, or audio into your account to where if you
are in the editor inside of Opus Clip that you can pull some of these things we have the calendar. Inside of Opus Clip, you can schedule your content to go out to your social media accounts automatically. In addition to scheduling
out your social media clips from Opus Clip, you can also upload videos into this as well to just use this as your social media manager to publish content on your behalf. In order to do so, all you have to do is click into the days
click schedule post up here, but in this case, let's say that I'm going to publish something on May 6th. Once I click into that, I'm going to select my project. Once I'm in the project, I'm just going to pick something here.
And you can see here that I have the option to preview this clip, and then I information about this clip as well. Once I check everything and make sure then I click select clip. Now, really cool thing about Opus Clip as you can
see, it's automatically putting in some description text here and it's already adding hashtags. So, if you want to use these hashtags, you can or you can write your own, whatever your preference is. And then right here, if you want AI to
rewrite your text, then you can prompt it right up here to do so. Over here on selecting the account this is going to publish to. And of course, you have the option to publish to YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Business, your Facebook page,
LinkedIn, or X. In this case, I'm setting up TikTok as the place I'm going schedule the time, I come down here to select the time. In this case, I'm going to do the 6th. And then I will do 12:00 a.m. GMT. And then in order to set this
to be scheduled, I just click schedule. And if you want, you also have the what I'm going to click. And just so you know, once your content here inside of the calendar. And just so you know, while we're in the calendar,
right up here in the top right-hand side of the screen, you can also choose your time zone and just double-check it to make sure it's correct. Next, we have analytics. Now, of course, the video that I just posted, you can see that the
analytics on that are not going to be there yet. But once you are posting are connected, you're going to be able to see those stats here. And then you want to connect one of your social platforms, all you have to do is click
into your accounts and then here you can add a new account at any time. Now, back see right over here that there's the option for the auto import. So, if your account is connected here, this is where you would do the auto import. And as a
reminder, the auto import makes it to where once your live stream is complete on whatever platform you're pulling your content in from, that Opus Clip will ahead and start the clipping process so you don't have to wait for it to
process. But once you have a processed clip, let's go in and see all the you here. For this, I'm just going to click into the project. screen, you can see that they auto added the text hook in here. And it gives me
the option to disable that and then it also gives you the option here to edit look right here, you can see the first 37 videos don't matter. You can see stop wasting viewers' time on YouTube, stop blaming the algorithm. But you can see
this text on here and the whole idea with this is again, it gives the viewers content, you can click on the play button to play the video. You can click on the heart to favorite this clip. You can downvote it so that you know that
you didn't like that clip. Here, you can click on the calendar to start the scheduling process. You can click on this icon to download the video directly to your computer, or you can click into Opus Clip's editor to edit your clip.
before we click into the editor, there's another thing that I want to show you. So, if you click into your clip, you can see here that we have the option to publish it and schedule it out to your account. You can export the clip as an
XML file that you can use inside of Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. You can download it directly to your computer. You can edit your clip, which is what we're going to do here in just a moment. You have the AI hook,
where you can add audio to your clip. You have the option to click into add B-roll. You can change the aspect ratio, or you can duplicate the clip. If you want to have AI rewrite the title, you can click on this pencil icon and choose
can click on this pencil icon and choose the way that you want it to rewrite it. want to go through and do this to a lot of your titles, then in that case, you can choose the up and down arrows here in order to quickly switch between
different clips to change the titles. Because remember, Opus Clip is about saving you time. Now, let's click in to edit the clip. Now, this is where Opus the left-hand side, we have the transcript. Here in the middle, we have
Over here on the right, we have additional controls, which I'm going to show you here in a moment. And then we have the timeline editor right down here want to bring your attention to. First, you can see how filler words are grayed
can do with that here in just a moment. And then you see the colored words. So, with the colored words, these are words that are being highlighted by Opus Clip right here. So, if you do want to change these in any way, you can do so here by
and then you can make those customizations here. We can remove that word from the caption, or we can remove that part of the video. So, this works as a text editor of sorts as well. You can also adjust the timing of the
highlight, and you can edit that highlight as well. And then if you want to add AI B-roll, stock B-roll, an emoji, or an AI hook into this section right here, then you can just click here
to add that. Speaking of adding sections inside of your transcript, you also have the option here to where you can click on this to add a section. Now, when you do this, it's going to pop up this modal here. And then you can go
through and you can find another part in the video that you want to add to that area. So here, for example, if I wanted to add this part here, then I can adjust the time of where I want to add it, and then I can click on add.
section to this video. And then of course, we can do the same thing down here in the bottom as well. So the way you want to look at this is that it's a text editor of sorts where you can add different sections to the beginning or
the end in order to make a more complete video if you think that it needs it. But here, another thing I want to bring to your attention is if you see the filler word here, you can see that I have um So Opus Clip has a really cool feature here
under the AI enhance section to where you can click this to remove filler word. So if I click this, what it's doing is it's going through and it's removing those filler words from my clips, which ultimately makes
better experience for the viewers. While we're in this section, we're going to go ahead and go over it. So you can also remove pauses. If you have long pauses in your content, you can auto censor, and this censor is based on the curse
also set on the words that you have personally set in there as well. You can enhance your speech. You can have AI generate B-roll. In this case, I have it how that turns out. And then you can also do the same exact thing with stock
B-roll that already exists that's copyright free as well. And you can see here where it added AI generated B-roll. You can do the same thing for copyright free stock B-roll. Depending on the type of content that you make, if you need
some type of audio intro, you can also generate the AI hook here. You have the which I showed you before. Same with the keywords highlighter. You also have the option here to do the auto transitions.
Opus Clip has is if you have multiple speakers in your content, you can turn this option on and then it will give you different colors based on who it is that want to change your caption style, you can do it over here. If there's
to your clip, if you click on this, then it gives you the option here to where you've already uploaded to add it to your clip for the edit, or you can directly drag files right into this that you can add to this project immediately.
if you do have your brand template set up, and we've already adjusted the presets for this one, but if you have your brand template that you have set up, then you can select it here, just in case you forgot to select it at the time
we have the B-roll area. Now, in the B-roll area, just like in the AI enhance area, you can do the AI B-roll or the stock B-roll, but you can also prompt B-roll. So, if you have something very specific that you're looking for, then
you can tell Opus Clip to make that instead. Here's where you have your transitions, it'll apply them automatically. If you want to add text to your clip, then you can click into this text option here, click add text,
and you can see right here, this is the text. So, in this case, let's say that I it, and then just hit delete on my keyboard, instead, then I can just put it right here.
controls that we went over earlier. And then of course, if you want to add music, you can also do that here. And same with the AI hook. And for the AI hook, you can tell it what you want it to say. So, this isn't
figure it out. You can tell it exactly what it is that you want it to say, and then you can add that to your project. So, in this case, I'm going to choose Daniel. I'm going to put in this is the best stream ever, and I'm going to just
keep all of this on the default. I'm going to click on generate AI hook. to your attention is how fast that happened because I'm not adjusting the speed in this screen recording. Uh it generated that in just a few
And you can see it show up right down here in the editor. Which brings us to the next part of this, which is our actual editor. So, when it comes to this editor, you can see that our AI generated hook is here.
and you can continue to add those things. So, let's say for example, I want B-roll right here, then I just put the playhead there, go to B-roll, I'm going to do the prompt, and then I'm going to say person walking down the
And I'm going to make sure that photorealistic is chosen, but you can change this if you want to. And then I'm going to click generate. the street, and I'm just going to click apply. And you can see how it put it
right here inside of the editor for me. Now, continuing on with the editor, you can see that if I put the playhead anywhere on the screen, if I come up to this option here, I can split it in this moment. Now, in a lot of cases, this
isn't going to really matter when you have one scene like this, but if you do have a scenario where you have different people on screen, you want to quickly jump to the other person or something like that, then in that case, you can
want, and then all I'm going to do is come up here to the actual preview and double-click on it. When I double-click on it, then that allows me to be able to move this around. So, if I wanted to put this into a different position for a
just a little bit for the sake of just making it look a little bit different for a minor pattern interrupt, then I can do that right here, and then I can click apply. So, as it plays, then you can see here
I'm zoomed out just a little bit. Boom, zoom in. Plays for a second, and then I'm back out again. attention is if you grab this line right here, you can see how the icon or the
cursor changes. If you grab this and you move it up, it gives you more area to And another thing I want to bring to your attention is up here at the top we have different layout options, the aspect ratio options, and we also have
this tracker. Now, with this tracker, if the content that you make has you moving around a lot, and because of that you are going a little bit off a screen, things like that, you can turn on this tracker, and then it's going to make
tracker, if you turn it on, you have the option to track the subject manually if you want to. You can turn off the tracking, or you can just let AI do its Now, I came into a different project because I want to show you the layout
project how my brother is in the top of screen, and then we have the captions in the middle. So, you can see that layout option identified down here by how it says split right here above the clip,
and then it says the same thing here. So, let's say, in order to make this clip more interesting, right around here, let's say I split this clip, and then I'm going to split it again right here. And then what I can do is I can
come into this clip, and I can come up here and go to the layout. Now, on this layout, if I change it to fill, then you can see here that now we have this filled, and then I can come over to if he's the one speaking, which I think
he is here because we're looking at the screen, then I can crop him in, and then I can hit apply. And then now we have it to where we have split screen, and then we go to fill where it's just him, and then it goes
to talk. Now, if we split it again, we can go back up to the layout option, and then here we can choose fit. Now, once we have it set to fit, then you can see that it ends up putting the entire width
So, I'm going to double click on this, and I'm actually going to spread this out so we get the full width of the clip in here, and I'm going to hit apply. it out, and then I'm just going to bring it in just a little bit more.
And then we have the entire clip inside of that little area there. So, the use case for this is where if you have a clip and you have different things like this that are going on inside of your clip, then you can make
those minor changes just to make the clip look more interesting and more dynamic when people are watching it. And if you are working on your clips and you think yourself, you know, I'd like to just see what this part of the clip
would look like in a different layout, then all you have to do is just select and then you can just right click it down here at the bottom, and then you in terms of the layout here, and then we're just going to do fill again.
and then we're going to change it to me for a second, and I'm going to hit So, now as somebody's watching this clip, we're 15 seconds in, and we've different times. And then right after that, we've got another full screen,
then we get back into split, and then we keep it split for the rest. Another thing you can do is in this split situation, is if you think that you want to have a better shot for the split, then you can just double click
into the split itself, and you can make those type of adjustments. So, let's say just a little bit, then I can do that, position myself, and hit apply, and then I can do the same thing to him, position right here, and then hit apply.
it also makes for a different type of scene. and then we have a little bit of a zoom out
right here. And if I wanted to split these so that we can keep that visual consistency, then I just click into there, swap these hit apply, and then now we keep it to where what's
happening at the top is just a zoom in and zoom out, but the characters, in this case myself and my brother, stay in the same place. your attention when it comes to the editor in terms of how to use it is if
that clip, you can select it and hit the trash can up here. You can also adjust the volume of that clip right here. Next, we have the snap editing to where as long as you keep that on, it's going to make sure the clips all snap together
the middle. So, I do recommend that you keep that on, but if you do want super turn that off in order to get that granular fine-tuning. Over here on the right, you can zoom in and out of your timeline, and this gives you more
you need them. Here at the beginning on the left, you you wanted to add some type of introduction to the clip, you can do so You can also add an outro here to where you can click on this,
