[00:00] Over the last week, I've caught bits and pieces, tiddlywinks of information about a fake NFL player named Dajon Love, and all the little tidbits that I've scooped up here and there [00:12] just didn't paint this picture appropriately. It didn't do it justice, because I decided to take a little bit of a peek in here and just see what's going on, sniff around, and it is extraordinarily wacky. [00:26] This is a generational larper. He LARPed so hard, I think he actually gave himself CPE. Didn't even need to play in the NFL. It is absolutely absurd. So in a nutshell, there's a guy named Dajon Love. [00:40] And on Instagram, he started an entire fantasy about being a professional NFL player for the 49ers. And through this, this charade, he was able to hose roughly 26 identified women out of roughly $1.3 million. [00:59] He was able to schmeckle dork them, hoodwink them here, into giving him over a million dollars pretending to be an NFL player. New details on that man accused of posing as a 49er. [01:11] The red flag was walking around with his helmet and his spirit pack. How did that happen that a guy is convincing women that he's on the Niners? [01:25] There is my 2020 350R, Shelby Mustang. This is already a half a million dollars worth of cars just right here. So believe it or not, the flexing was actually a core component of his strategy here for the scam. [01:38] So he would send these videos of like, look at all this money and these expensive things that I have as a way of appearing more credible and making people feel more confident when they send him money [01:50] because of some of the promises he would make to them. It's actually, it's pretty deep, but it's a very, like, simple scam in its core that's been done millions of times in the past through tons of different mutations. [02:02] His just happens to be the most publicly facing, comical, and easily disprovable one through just, like, the simplest Google search, like, the quickest Google search. Right now, you can call me a 49er. A fake 49ers receiver has scammed over $1.3 million [02:18] from at least 26 different women off of dating apps, ladies and gentlemen. The app blew whirlwind. Being a 49ers fan this offseason continues. First, we had our billion-dollar owner, Jed York, [02:30] up in a trailer home in Ohio, shacking it up with a prostitute. Bro, the 49ers preseason has had an entire Game of Thrones season worth of twist turns and debauchery. So I didn't even hear about Jed York. [02:43] But yeah, the billionaire goofball gooner had been contacting a prostitution service three times and then had eventually agreed to meet at a location at the Wheat Hill mobile home community [02:58] with both the phone used to communicate with the fictitious prostitute, spoiler, turns out, wasn't a real prostitute, and $160, which the incident report stated was the agreed-upon fee for one hour of sexual services. [03:12] Now, I'm going to tell you a little something. That number is disputed. It's a little fishy. The ESPN article here says it was $160, but in numerous other reports, they're saying it was $140. [03:25] It's a difference of 20 doubloons, but that makes a huge difference here in the eye of the law, I think. Everyone knows there's a world of difference between a $160 prostitute in Ohio and a $140 prostitute in Ohio. [03:38] It's night and day. There's an entire dimension that exists in that $20. And since there's two different reported numbers here across sources, I don't know which one's accurate. Maybe it's like dynamic pricing or surge pricing, you know, like Uber does. [03:52] Maybe it's like $140 for base services and then an extra $20 if he wants a finger in his butt, potentially. But regardless of what the number was, he did get charged with two misdemeanors, engaging in prostitution and possession of criminal tools, but then they amended it to disorderly conduct as part of a plea agreement, pled no contest, paid $11.50 in fines, and was sentenced to one day in jail for each charge. [04:17] Days on Love, a self-proclaimed undrafted wide receiver who plays for the 49ers, alright? You can tell on his Instagram, to be continued. Rhyme don't stop, squeeze, smash, whatever that means. [04:30] Clearly a 49er right here. I mean, look at the profile picture. Look at the headband. Trust God believes in the slow grind. It wasn't the most elaborate or galaxy brain scheme. It was like the most bare-bones shit ever. [04:43] He just got an Instagram account. It was verified. To be continued. And just made shit up about being a 49ers receiver. [04:56] Like, there was really nothing more to it than that. It was that simple. His big thing was he walked around with a 49ers helmet. And I guess that was enough to fool people. [05:08] And, like, also a couple of, like, his training videos where he just catches the ball sometimes or, like, really poorly does a couple of drills. It really is, like, that simple. I went undrafted into the NFL. [05:20] I knew some people who played who had very big credibility. I knew some people who coached who had credibility positions coaching in the Pacific coaching in the league I had a huge tryout that I killed before I got to the league I ended up choosing SF because it was the right time I was kind of already living in the Bay and [05:42] it just worked out for me. I just want to keep this short and sweet and not get into too much detail after how I got in the league with just a little bit of short and sweetness. So what I'm going to do is I am going to post when I was on the 49ers and I ended up getting, um, I'm in my new McLaren and it's just... [06:08] Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa, Dazon! Get out of here, you're the new McLaren? Oh, hey, come on now, that's a low blow. Cut superstars some slack. Like, McLarens are notoriously finicky. [06:20] They've got their fucking trunk or you've got a reel in there. His NFL journey is insightful. It had its ups and downs. He knew some people. He tried out. [06:32] He killed it. 49er, baby. That's just the way he goes. That's the story. It's like a fairy tale. I mean, man, the detail he goes into. But, to be fair, he did say short and sweetness. [06:44] That was about as short and not sweet as it gets right there. [07:14] Is Daze on in the video? Uh, no, that doesn't matter. All right, he posts two of these screenshots, one of the entire paragraph, and one with the show more tab, just to prove that it's legit, I guess. Maybe I was too quick to poo-poo on the strategy here. [07:27] Now that right there is getting creative. Modern problems requiring modern solutions. The problem, how do I scam women out of money? The solution, I'll pretend to be a fake NFL player, and then I'll even use AI to corroborate [07:41] the garbage that I'm spitting out here, and then I'll show a screenshot of it. But hopefully no one will actually Google my name and realize that there is no AI overview that comes up. [07:53] And he was right. The gambit paid off. I guess none of the people actually did Google his name to see if the AI overview was legitimate. Even though I didn't get to play much, I would show you my finger. Matter of fact, I would. [08:05] I would do full transparency and show you my finger as to why I didn't get a chance to play. But I was behind the scenes on the sidelines. I'm from the gang, this is my way gang, in-home gang. [08:17] Practice, everything, teaming, everything. So, I'm trying to multitask because it is a little bit heavy. I'm hurt. So, this is my finger. [08:30] I can't really fully bend it. I'm a lot better now than I was when I first got it. That's the injury, ladies and gentlemen. He could have bent his pinky all the way to the palm of his hand. That's a career-ending injury. [08:43] HOLY FUCKING CANOLI! Put a not-suitable-for-work filter on that bitch, please! YUCK! It's like a mangled corpse that he just splashed there. He calls that a hand? It's destroyed! How did he even survive that kind of injury? [08:57] I haven't seen that kind of damage since One Man, One Jar. Fuck, Dejon Love, no wonder he didn't get to play much on the 49ers. He was battling a life-ending injury. I can't wait to pull through. Did you see that? [09:09] Did you see the way he couldn't put the pinky all the way to the pump? What the fuck? Yeah, this was his ult here. You guys may not have seen me play ever, and there's a reason for that. [09:21] It's because I hurt myself. Look at this boo-boo. Look at my bum hand. I hurt it real bad. Big injury. So, you know, I had to stay off the field. But not because I wanted to. [09:33] The doctors forced me to those fucking cops. I wanted to be out there with the team, putting it all on the line for the 49ers. I love the Bay. You know, it means the world to me, but I just couldn't. I wasn't allowed to because he was a huge injury. Jeepers, creepers, I know. [09:45] I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. This was his defense of that, because obviously people would be, like, looking up, you know, him on the injury reserve or looking up him anywhere associated with the 49ers, like, in any of their games. [09:57] And he's like, no, no, I was there. I just, I didn't get to play because of this injury. Very smart, very smart. I also love that he couldn't even be bothered to do the bare minimum of just, like, I don't know, bandaging something. instead he just shows a totally normal hand and calling it injured he could have like at least [10:13] pretended like put a neck brace on or something or like that character in spongebob where he's in like a full body cast he could have at least gone that far with the work but he didn't even bother he didn't even cosplay and he's like oh yeah take my word for it so i had to get that [10:28] as you can see it's a lot better than what it was um i'm able to actually get it but i was only able to move it like, oh, it used to be like this, oh, we heard it, but I just wanted to [10:41] have transparency, because I do get a lot of people, what do you do, how can you afford a $500,000 car, how can you afford a $300,000 Urn, how can you do this, so I just like to [10:53] have context, this is for my fans. Yes sir, baby, for the fans, the 2B Continued community, let's get it, they love this kind of shit man he's known for his fingers so that injury was devastating to them [11:05] so he out here adding the transparency this is how I was able to afford all this stuff because he a 49ers superstar Though right now he kind of in talks thinking about other things but he so loyal to the 49ers And he said explicitly, you can call him a 49er, but, you know, he's still, [11:21] he's still thinking about options. I mean, a guy like this, bro, he's got infinite choices. The talent that he has, even in spite of that finger, come on. You know how it goes to be continued nation. And so, yeah, this is a short and sweet transparency, I guess. [11:37] I'm happy to hear he's recovering from that injury, bro. That finger injury, that's killed many people. So it's good that he was able to pull through. That was Dajon's full story of his NFL career. He got released by the 49ers, but he couldn't play because his finger wasn't bending. [11:52] He was at all the games, at all the practices. When it came to game day, he couldn't show up for Kyle Shanahan, which ultimately led to his release. He still feels gratitude for the 49ers organization for giving an undrafted kid an opportunity to live out his dream in the Bay. [12:08] All right, the rest of his Instagram story is containing him on a horse. Probably isn't actually him on a horse. All right, he's got a free agency slide here. Multiple locker room Snapchat stories probably ripped from other players. [12:20] He was even on the team during the Super Bowl. All right, filming the guys getting ready. The team bus coming in. Getting off the plane. Super Bowl media day. Super Bowl dinner as opposed to Storytel free agency [12:32] year one and Super Bowl all in the same week I don't know what type of anime time skipping power this guy possesses but he did it all in one week I fucking love it man this guy crushed it [12:44] on the coverage here of Dejan Love because when I was going through looking at all the shit there was just so much to keep track of because he's right like Jeff says this guy does it like anime time skipping power the things that he's [12:56] posting it's just so I'm fucking absurd. Big shout out to this channel, Jeff here. I highly recommend you go check out his full video covering this. It's so good. So yeah, Dajon Love has all of this, and I think he's right. [13:10] A lot of it is just ripped from other players. And I just can't stop giggling at the story he told there, the lore of his 49ers journey. He didn't even come up with anything cool, nor did he have any evidence or proof of anything, [13:23] but he also just didn't even have a cool story. The story was that he went undrafted, but then got a shot with the 49ers, but then couldn't play because of his freaky fingers. He re-ins, and now he's looking at other options, but you can still call him a 49er. [13:40] And then he just pretends that he was there for all of these things all of the time, like an omniscient force. It's so fucking weird. He couldn't even come up with something sensible, even slightly coherent. and he still married himself to fucking quirky finger injury [13:56] as like his excuse for why you can't find him anywhere. This was all part of an elaborate scheme because instead of rehabbing his finger, Dajon was actually in his lobby convincing women that he was also a sophisticated investor on the side. [14:10] What he would do is build romantic relationships with many of these women and then told them he wanted to build wealth and a future together. The only way they could do this is if the woman invested in him, alright? So this is where the gravy comes in. [14:22] So the whole football player persona, that was just a front to appear more successful and more appealing to his victims and make them feel more comfortable and confident. [14:34] So that way, when he pitched them on the investment, like, hey, I'll double or triple your money if you invest in me, they would then look to, like, you know, the persona that he built up here and feel more confident that they're not about to just get hosed here. [14:46] and he would also deceive them through these romantic ideas this romantic uh you know dream that he'd sell them on about how they're going to live happily ever after sail off into sunset extremely wealthy in his investment vehicle he promises massive returns on these investments [15:02] all right double or triple your money on top of all the stories of being in the locker room being in the film room celebrating with the guys he also used fake screenshots of his bank account to legitimize the scheme. [15:14] Then he would loop in his brother, Chan, who's his investment advisor, send Dajon messages encouraging him to invest in these opportunities. That's who he had as his investment guru advising him on financial decisions. [15:28] That goofball right there. A guy who looks like he's posing for the middle school yearbook. A guy who looks like he's still playing fucking Club Penguin right now. That was his financial guy. [15:40] Dajon Love is 35. he is like fucking fresh out of the womb so it's so silly it's so fucking silly but yeah the scam did work like that's the thing [15:53] easy to look back on it now and point out how over the top ridiculous the whole thing was and be confused how it's accessible but these kind of scams historically have worked men and women [16:06] again this is something I've talked about a lot but like those guru courses where like these rich and successful people like Wesley Gadoosh Watson, whose whole pitch is, I've made a lot of money, [16:18] now give me money so I can teach you how to make money and get laid. You are the product. Like you are the person that is putting the money into his account that lets him have that money that he can flex on others to get more people on board to the scam. [16:31] He's not making his money through a service or a product, he's making his money through getting you to just give him money for fucking nothing. just basic garbage This is a very similar idea where he builds this fake persona that has all of this perceived success and wealth and being a football player and that where all of his money came from [16:52] so that way when he pitches them on like giving him money like hey I'm rich and successful can you Venmo me some cash they feel less you know skeptical because they can look at this profile [17:04] and they can look at all these photoshopped pictures that he's dumping of his bank accounts and stuff and be like, okay, well, this guy's already made a lot of money. He's not going to fuck me on it. That wouldn't make any sense, right? That's the whole core of the scam. [17:17] He does go the extra mile, though, in also trying to hook the women on him personally through these romance deceptions, through romance scamming, and then brings in Chan, the baiting genius, boss baiting there, to pretend to, like, give financial advice and [17:33] investment opportunities. They also did, like, three-way FaceTime calls where they would be showcasing fraudulent games and shit. So, like, he did go a little further than most of the basic scams, but it's still, like, a very similar scam to all the others. [17:50] His is just much more public-facing with the whole fake 49ers receiver angle. In reality, however, they were just calling the victims a gupto chant. I ain't do anything with him or her, whoever it is. [18:03] I need the cash. They sent these messages to numerous women to convince them to send their money to either Love or Channel. They also hosted three-way FaceTime calls. They showed these women fake profits and encouraged them to be a part of their money. [18:18] Just a sick, twisted, evil scheme, alright? If these women didn't have money, they would convince them to take out personal loans to invest in these companies. You would also block them if they started to get a little too inquisitive, if they were asking too many questions, because both Love and Shan were too fucking stupid to answer any of them, and they knew that it would crumble down should that line of questioning continue and persist. [18:42] Like, the whole thing is diabolical. And it preyed on tons of women here and made them a lot of money temporarily because I do think they're going to be slapped very hard here. I imagine they're going to be spending many years behind bars, it would be my guess. [18:58] But yeah, they were huge pieces of shit. They would just be insulting their victims. They would even be advising them to, like, find money by any means necessary, take out a loan, [19:10] which, again, is something we have seen a lot when it comes to this scam. There is just merciless, just truly evil people here behind it, like, oh, you don't have the money right now. [19:22] Well, can you go steal it from, like, your parents? Can you go get a loan or something? Like, you're going to need that money. Like, we need that. You want to be with me, don't you? Like, we're supposed to get married, right? And, like, you want to invest in me so that way you can get double and triple back, right? [19:37] So, go find the money. It's just sad. It's sad. It's fucking sick shit. Now, one thing I can't quite figure out after diving into the story here, why did Dajon Love even bring Shan on board? [19:51] He served no purpose. He was fundamentally useless to the whole thing and entirely unnecessary. All it led to was him having to split the money with somebody instead of keeping the kit and caboodle for himself. And it also opened him up to another possible opportunity to be caught through Chan getting caught. [20:08] Not that it would have mattered. It was blatantly obvious that he wasn't going to get away with this forever, even on his own. But I just don't understand. Why even involve Chan in the first place? He was doing all of the actual scamming himself. [20:21] Love, through building this fake persona of being the football player for the 49ers, he did all of that on his own, basically, romancing all of the women. The only thing Chan did was pretend to be like the investment guy giving them financial advice. [20:38] But that didn't do anything. Love could have still just done the exact same thing, and in some cases kind of did, about, like, hey, I'm investing here, here's some gains and shit through Photoshop things. Like, Love's whole pitch was, hey, I love you, [20:53] also, can you Venmo me some cash? I'm going to double and triple that shit ASAP, and here's my investment guy that's going to, you know, get us there. He's made me tens of millions of dollars. And then he introduces Chan. [21:06] But here's the thing. He didn't need to introduce Chan. He could have just, like, talked about him. And in some cases, he just did. And so, like, why even bother including, like, another person in this when the scam worked without them, too? [21:20] It makes me think that Chan may have actually scammed Love into believing that he was a necessary component to this fraud. Because reading through all the reports here about the case, it feels more like Chan was an OnlyFans manager for Dajon Love. [21:35] Like, encouraging him and that kind of thing, and, like, including himself in the whole thing. even though, like I said, it doesn't feel like it added anything to it to make it more legitimate or anything, because Love was the one doing all of the heavy lifting for this fraud. [21:50] So it just kind of makes me laugh that Chan got a portion of all this due for doing fundamentally nothing besides photoshopping screenshots and joining some FaceTime calls. And it's great, because now he gets to go down with the ship as well. [22:04] So Dejan, Love, and Chan are both getting slapped here. hopefully they face many, many, many, many, many moons behind bars. They're pieces of shit, absolute scumbags. Anyway, I had to talk about this because this was some crazy lark. [22:18] Anyway, that's about it. See ya.
