[0:00] Thanks Tyer for sponsoring this video. [0:02] Air fryer. They are supposed to be [0:04] convenient, making your life easier. And [0:06] on today's video, I'm going to be [0:07] testing some impossible recipes. Have [0:10] you ever made mac and cheese in an air [0:12] fryer? You will see the results I'll be [0:14] getting today. But most importantly, how [0:16] about steak? You love steak? I love [0:18] steak. I've gotten some okay results, [0:20] but never perfect. I just finished [0:23] eating this steak right here, and I'm [0:26] completely speechless. And I start off [0:28] with my favorite piece of meat. These [0:30] are pecas, the greatest steak in the [0:33] world. So after seasoning them with [0:34] salt, pepper, and garlic powder, the [0:36] next thing I needed to do was to allow [0:37] the salt to penetrate deeply in there. [0:39] So I set them down on a cooling rack and [0:41] stuck them in my refrigerator for 2 [0:43] hours. That was perfect because now it [0:44] allowed me time to test some other [0:46] things with this air fryer. This is a [0:48] very innovative air fryer. And I'm going [0:50] to run it to some crazy tests because [0:52] take a look at this. Have you ever made [0:54] a mac and cheese in an air fryer? Me [0:56] neither. Because check out how this is [0:57] put together. I got the large bottom [0:59] container, added cheddar cheese, [1:01] followed by a generous amount of [1:02] American cheese. After that, I just [1:04] added plain macaroni without being [1:06] cooked. Then I threw in some paprika, [1:08] followed by garlic powder, some black [1:10] pepper, some salt, and MSG. Then I added [1:13] 1 cup of water, followed by 1 cup of [1:15] milk. The only thing left to do now was [1:17] to stuck it in the air fryer and set it [1:19] to 330° F for 15 minutes. Once 10 [1:22] minutes was up, I took it off. And look, [1:24] it didn't look that appetizing. That's [1:26] because it needed to be stirred. At [1:28] first, I thought there's no way this is [1:31] going to work. But the more I mixed it, [1:33] I started becoming a believer. One of [1:35] the interesting things about this air [1:36] fry is that it has dual heating [1:38] elements, one on the bottom and one on [1:40] the top, unlike any other. And as you [1:42] can clearly see, the more I mix this, [1:44] the creamier this thing became. But of [1:46] course, it needed more milk. So, I went [1:48] ahead and added, mixed it a little bit [1:49] more, and in it goes for another 5 [1:51] minutes. Once the time was up, I took it [1:53] out and take a look at it. It definitely [1:56] needed more milk as the pasta was [1:58] completely absorbing everything. To [2:00] finish this off, I added pink of [2:02] breadrumbs so that I can get a nice [2:04] crunch. I put it right back in for an [2:06] additional 5 minutes. And once that was [2:07] done, I was now ready to try. I'm going [2:09] to be honest with you guys, I am shocked [2:12] by the results so far. And I mean, it's [2:14] not the best mac and cheese I've ever [2:16] made, but the convenience of this is [2:19] just absolutely ridiculous. But the [2:20] taste is always the most [2:24] important. I cannot believe it actually [2:28] worked. Seriously, everybody, I know [2:30] you're going to ask me, is it a perfect [2:31] mac and cheese? No, it's not perfect, [2:34] but it tastes very nice for what it is. [2:36] You know, I've been to a few restaurants [2:38] that serve mac and cheese worse than [2:40] this. I am amazed that this actually [2:42] worked. It freaking worked. Yep. I [2:45] cannot believe how well this worked. And [2:47] one of my favorite parts about this air [2:49] fryer is that it has a self-cleaning [2:51] feature. Cleans at 500° to break down [2:54] grease and grime. It's going to be easy [2:55] to clean this up because believe me, for [2:57] this next dish, I thought it was going [2:59] to be impossible. It is a blooming onion [3:02] done directly on the air fryer. Let me [3:04] show you. First thing to do is to make a [3:06] seasoned flour. I started with [3:08] all-purpose flour, followed by paprika, [3:10] salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. [3:12] Mix that up real good and set it aside. [3:14] Next, you need a white onion and this a [3:16] lid of any container. You want to set [3:18] the onion down just like this because as [3:20] soon as you start cutting it, it will [3:22] prevent you from going all the way down, [3:24] allowing you to cut this perfectly, [3:26] making the job a lot easier to do. As [3:28] you can see, once I was done, it made [3:30] the job a breeze. Next, to remove some [3:32] of the bitterness of the onion. For [3:34] that, you just got to soak it in water [3:36] for a little bit. As once that's done, [3:37] you want to squeeze all of the excess [3:39] water. And we got to make a quick [3:40] batter. First, you throw in some eggs, [3:42] followed by milk. Mix that up real good [3:44] and go ahead and soak the onion in there [3:46] as now you want to transfer to the [3:47] seasoned flour. Make sure to add a [3:49] generous amount of flour between the [3:50] petals. Believe me when I tell you [3:52] friends, the more the better here. [3:54] Repeat the process once again because [3:56] after adding to the batter one more [3:58] time, put it down on a bowl and add [4:00] bread crumbs on top of it. As now you [4:02] want to set it down on the air fryer and [4:04] it is now ready to be cooked. Talking [4:06] about that, this air fryer has 15 [4:08] different types of cooking functions. It [4:11] can do literally anything. But for the [4:13] blooming onion, I'm just going to go [4:14] with the air fryer setting at 375° F for [4:18] about 20 minutes. But make sure to check [4:20] it in between so it does not burn. As [4:22] once the time was up, take a look. That [4:24] got me super excited. And it was all [4:27] done on an air fryer. To finish this [4:29] off, I just added some ranch. And it was [4:31] now ready to try. If you ever go to a [4:34] restaurant like Outback Steak Houses and [4:36] even Texas Roadhouse, they serve this. [4:38] And the fact that you can do it at home [4:40] with an air fryer, it is absolutely [4:43] amazing to me. Let's see if it tastes as [4:45] good as it looks. [4:49] Cheers. I was skeptical with this one. [4:52] I'll be honest with you. I thought it [4:53] was going to burn because the heating [4:54] element is so close. As you can see, got [4:56] a little bit of char. Yes. But it's just [4:58] like nice crispiness. It is exactly what [5:01] you want. I can't believe it. This is a [5:03] 20 out of 10. Seriously. And it worked [5:06] extremely well. I can't believe it's so [5:08] good. It's so good. Damn, man. Now, I [5:11] was ready for some protein. This is [5:13] super simple and easy to make. You first [5:15] want to cut down your chicken breast [5:16] just like this. Make sure to make a [5:18] generous amount, especially if your air [5:20] fryer has a high capacity like mine. To [5:22] season it, I just used a barbecue rub. [5:24] Since there's no salt involved, make [5:26] sure to be generous with it. Once it's [5:28] fully seasoned, you want to wrap it in [5:29] bacon. Just make sure to keep the seams [5:31] down. As once you're done, you want to [5:33] lay it down just like this on your air [5:35] fryer, one at a time. The dual heat on [5:37] this air fryer will cook the bacon [5:39] perfectly. I just set it to 350° F and [5:42] I'm going to let it go for about 20 [5:44] minutes. Once the time was up, take a [5:46] look. It cooked it to perfection. Only [5:48] thing left to do was to plate it up. Add [5:50] a little spicy mayo to it. And it was [5:52] now ready for a taste test. I'm going to [5:54] go a little bit with the Sriracha mayo [5:56] right here. [5:58] Cheers. Oh my god. M. It is steaming [6:01] hot. It is so good. And it's perfectly [6:04] golden brown, which the air fryer is [6:06] fantastic for it. As it's a convection [6:08] oven, it's heating everything evenly. [6:11] It's just chicken and bacon, but it just [6:13] hits right. You know what I [6:14] mean? [6:17] Wow. Probably one of the easiest thing [6:19] to make on an air fryer. But now, now [6:23] remember, this air fry is quite big. So, [6:25] I want to see what happens when you cook [6:27] a pizza on it, fresh and frozen. Let's [6:31] see how it stacks up. First thing to do [6:32] is to preheat the air fryer. Once the [6:34] time is up, I went ahead and grabbed [6:35] some fresh dough, laid it straight down [6:37] as I want to first precook the whole [6:39] thing. After 10 minutes, take a look. It [6:42] pre-cooked it nicely because the dual [6:44] heating is the key of this air fryer. [6:46] Next, I went ahead and brushed a [6:47] generous amount of olive oil throughout [6:49] the whole thing. Then, I added some [6:50] pizza sauce, followed by a generous [6:52] amount of fresh mozzarella. Then, back [6:54] into the air fryer it went. Once the [6:56] time was up, I took it off and I was [6:58] shocked because take a look at this [7:00] pizza. It cooked it to perfection. Nice [7:03] golden brown color and it reminded me [7:05] almost like faukatcha. To finish this [7:07] pizza off, I added a generous amount of [7:10] olive oil followed by some fresh basil. [7:12] This is a fresh dough pizza that was [7:14] cooked on an air fryer. I mean, [7:17] seriously, I was looking forward to see [7:19] the best part, which is the taste [7:21] test. I mean, I mean, the proof is in [7:24] the pudding, everybody. To me, it's very [7:26] similar to faukatcha. Not really [7:27] Neapolitan style pizza, but [7:29] nevertheless, man, I am excited to try. [7:31] I'm actually more excited to try the [7:33] crust. So, let's give it a [7:35] go. Oh, wow. It's super crispy the [7:41] front. Oh, wow. It's actually good. It's [7:44] actually very good. Wow. This is not an [7:46] Italian pizza whatsoever. It is nice and [7:49] crunchy. It baked the bottom perfectly, [7:51] which is what you want. This crust is [7:53] golden brown. The fact that I don't have [7:55] to heat up my pizza oven in order to [7:58] make a New York style pizza. It's super [8:00] quick and easy. I mean, it doesn't beat [8:03] that. It's so good. Just in case you're [8:05] wondering, you can obviously make frozen [8:07] pizza as well. There's a function for [8:09] that, too. But next, I wanted the [8:11] ultimate test, which was my steaks. Take [8:14] a look at them. Perfectly dry brine. The [8:16] salt penetrated deeply in there, and [8:18] it's nice and dry. And hopefully, we're [8:20] going to get a good crust. I started by [8:22] setting the function to steak. First [8:24] thing to do is to let it preheat for 4 [8:25] minutes. Once the time was up, I went [8:27] ahead and immediately put the steak in [8:29] there. I got a nice sizzle, too. This [8:31] was looking promising. As soon as the [8:33] time was up, I opened it up. And take a [8:35] look at this crust. I can honestly say [8:38] the best crust I ever had on an air [8:40] fryer. I wanted to know if the steak was [8:42] already fully cooked or not. And for [8:44] that, they have this tool, which is a [8:46] wireless thermometer that will sync [8:48] perfectly with your air fryer. Or you [8:50] can just use this hub and keep watching [8:52] it. And I love that it comes with two [8:54] probes, which is perfect for this cook. [8:56] So, I went ahead and insert them inside [8:57] to make sure that they were going to [8:59] cook to perfection. Then, it immediately [9:01] went back in. And in no time at all, it [9:03] was ready. Now, take a look at this [9:05] crust done on an air fryer. I still [9:09] cannot believe my eyes. Never was I able [9:12] to get something like this. So, after [9:14] letting it rest, it was now time to [9:16] slice it. And when I did, look at it. [9:18] What else would you want from a steak [9:20] done on an air fryer? It looks [9:22] absolutely incredible. But in the end of [9:25] the day, we all know the most important [9:27] thing is always the taste. I'm shocked. [9:31] I'm seriously shocked. I cannot believe [9:33] this steak was cooked on an air [9:38] fryer. I mean, come on. Are you kidding [9:41] me? It's exactly what you would expect. [9:44] You know, obviously it's not a charcoal [9:46] steak, but it is nice and tender, [9:48] extremely juicy in order to cook things [9:50] properly, get a nice sear. It is not [9:53] easy to do, everybody, especially for an [9:55] air fryer. And you get this kind of [9:57] results. I mean, it doesn't get any more [9:59] convenient than this. It's absolutely [10:01] insane. Steak is delicious. If you are [10:03] going to use an air fryer to cook a [10:05] steak, this is the one you want to do it [10:07] with, everybody, because I am [10:08] speechless. Seriously, I would love to [10:10] know which one today was your favorite [10:12] recipe. But those are the results. I [10:14] hope you guys enjoyed this video. If you [10:15] did, hit that thumbs up. If you're not a [10:17] subscriber, be sure to subscribe. And [10:18] we'll see you guys on the next one. Take [10:20] care, everybody. Because now I'm going [10:22] to keep enjoying my pikaya on an air [10:24] fryer.
