[00:12] called Showbiz Productions. I've been involved in these games since 1979 as a dealer, as a player, as a casino operator as well. I want to uh thank you for watching our first video, Roulette 101. We're going to delve a little [00:27] deeper here in Roulette 102. We're going to talk about some strategies, some systems. Uh if you like what you see, please uh subscribe, give us a thumbs up, and if you have any questions, comments are greatly appreciated. I want [00:40] to start with uh the wheel itself, this is a uh 32-in uh Pollson wheel. These are made in in in Las Vegas. And the layout of the game, the layout of the game is doesn't correspond with the wheel itself. The layout of the game is [00:55] about that a little later. We're going to talk about strategies. We're going to talk about a lot of different things. So, uh, buckle up and let's have a good time. Now, we're going to go for a spin. I did receive some comments on our [01:09] previous video. One person said, "I watched the video for 20 minutes just to find out you had to get lucky." Well, I'll be honest with you, that's how it is. You have to get lucky on the wheel. I had another comment I appreciated [01:22] which said, "It's the first honest video that I've seen on roulette." And I want to give you the honest truth on this. I want to I I don't I don't want to get a million views and give you some some cockamame system that's going to cost [01:34] you money is not going to work. Uh we're going to talk about systems and we're things. But first we'll talk about the wheel. This is what's known as an different styles of wheel. One is the European wheel which has a single zero. [01:48] The European wheel gives you about a 2.7 house advantage. There this is known as American roulette which is see mostly and that is a two zeros a zero and a double zero that gives the house about a 5% advantage five and change. Uh lately [02:03] I've seen a triple zero wheel where they have three zeros on the wheel the audacity of them to put another zero on the wheel and that gives the house over 7% advantage. If you see that wheel, stay away. I think I'd rather play [02:17] Russian roulette. But we're going to talk about how you can play this game, how you can have a lot of fun. And uh the bottom line on these strategies, and we're going to go through them one at a time is the math doesn't add up. And [02:30] YouTube. You're going to see a lot of things where the guy's spinning and he's and this section. He's going to bet eight numbers in here. and and and and I only lose if this number comes up and this number comes up or the zeros come [02:44] up and inevitably they will. Okay? It's just the nature of the beast. So, and just the nature of the beast. So, and they will show you a short sequence. We did a couple of rolls. Oh, I had 300, now I got 350. And they're going to spin [02:57] know, it's going to happen every time. Well, it's it's not. You're going to run into uh anomalies. So, we're going to start with the systems one at a time. which I think is probably the worst of all, is called the Martingale. With the [03:11] Martingale, the idea is to make a bet. Here we're going to make a bet. Most Here we're going to make a bet. Most most casinos uh probably have a $15 minimum or 25 in some cases. Let's assume we go 25. And the idea is you bet [03:25] $25 and you lose. What are you going to do? Well, you're going to you're going double your bet. Let me get some quarters out here. And now you bet quarters out here. And now you bet again. Gosh, you lost again. [03:37] to double your bet because that's how the system works. You double your bet till you win. It's a system basically that gets you to break even. Okay. Now, that gets you to break even. Okay. Now, well, I bet $100. Okay. Oh, black came [03:49] well, I bet $100. Okay. Oh, black came up again. The anomaly. Okay. up again. The anomaly. Okay. Well, now you got to bet $200. Okay. Black came up again. That's four. What are you going to do? Oh, jeez. I don't [04:03] know. I gota I gotta read cheap now. I gotta bet I gotta bet $800. Okay. Well, it came up again. It was a fluke. It was a freak of nature. H how'd that happen are going to happen here. I've seen them [04:18] come up a dozen times in a row. So, two things are going to happen. Eventually, you're going to reach table limit or you're going to empty your bankroll. Either way, you lose. And you might play this Martingale system and you might win [04:31] a lot of times. You know, I I don't like the system basically because the whole idea is to get even. So that chance to get even one time you're going to get bit, okay? And you're going to lose [04:45] all your money. So So much for that one. If you go to chat GPT and you ask about a system, they're going to give you the Martingale system because AI doesn't play this game. [05:00] People play this game and they feed this information in new in the chat in in AI and they come up with these systems. None of these systems work. Some of these systems were claimed to be made by mathematicians. [05:14] I I don't know if the mathematicians got it right. Okay. The mathematician didn't count on the 5% house advantage. didn't count on the zeros. There are slew of dime a dozen. You'll find them. None of them are worth a dime to be honest with [05:27] you, but there's the Dull Bear, the Fibonacci, the Andi, the Lab Bruce Share, and the one the Peril Lee is is the one I I'd be most inclined to bet. the one I I'd be most inclined to bet. Um there's also the Romanoski. Um again, [05:41] you'll see short videos on these and in a short set of circumstances, a couple of roles. Yeah, you're going to win and yeah, you make money. Uh the perily, the one I like about it the most is it's the opposite of the martinale. You increase [05:56] your bet when you win. You know, you win and you bet more. You win and you up a unit, you up a unit again when you win. And the idea is you're playing with house money. But the bottom line, the truth is it's never really house money. [06:09] It's money that you've won back and now you have a chance to cash. So that's the reason I I don't like that one. So, of all the systems, I think the the system that I would use a as as a player because the bottom line [06:24] a as as a player because the bottom line is is these systems if you bet enough that you can get a lot of action. You can get a lot of play. You know, if playing for rewards, you want to get that maybe they're giving away a a [06:37] you're getting a you're getting a room, maybe you're getting a dinner and you get your points. You can probably get a lot of action that way because they you're betting a lot, you're betting [06:50] the place. You're betting the high, the low, the thing. And and you you're a lot of play, you might not lose much money because these systems are going to money because these systems are going to claim they win 85 90% of the time. The [07:03] problem is when they don't win, you lose all your money. But like I say, if you want, it depends on what your goal is. If your goal is to sit and play a lot and have a good time and and get some free drinks and get [07:18] some comps and but I would never play for those points because you end up lose hotel room, you could buy your own dinner, you can buy whatever you want. So, you really don't want to do that. But like I say, always put in your [07:31] rewards while you're playing. You're there. To me, if I have a a strategy or a methodology, it's a hit and run. I'm going to hit and then I'm going to go to the cashier's cage cuz uh that's where all the winners are. You always hear [07:45] stories about people winning at this game. Uh they had one thing in common. Uh they went to the cashier's cage. I referred to Albert Einstein earlier that he was uh he was a pretty good mathematician and as I said he said the [07:59] only way to win this game is to to um steal the money while the kier is not looking. There's a famous story, I don't know if it's true or not. It's an old days are like the internet today. You believe what you want, but the uh the [08:14] story goes that um Nick the Greek met Albert Einstein at the airport after he heard that the only way to to win this game was to steal money from the CRA and they went to the casino and Nick the Greek bet three rolls on red and he went [08:27] said, "Look, Albert, that's how you win at this game. So take what you want out of that. The idea is you you really want to hit and you want to hit and you want to go. You want to cash in. You want to take your money. From an historical [08:42] context, the game now is is is legitimate. I mean, there was a time the person who taught me to deal with this game in 1979 was a gentleman by the name of of Gordon. And he was a cheat. He was a cheat from Las Vegas. And he used to [08:57] run underground games. And there was a time when people really cheated at this got enough spins. They got enough going on. Nobody's cheating you in the casino. pull up the wheel and they're cheating you in the casino. That ain't happening. [09:12] Okay. Well, there was a time when that did happen. And he told me stories. He said, "Well, there used to be a illegal gambling circuit. That circuit consisted [snorts] Stubenville, Ohio. It was Newport, Kentucky. It was Pinehurst, [09:26] the golf tournaments. And then they followed the horses down to uh New followed the horses down to uh New Orleans at the fairgrounds and um flats they were dealing. Then they'd go and and it was an entire circuit and [09:40] they actually had crooked roulette wheels. Now I'd never seen them, but as could push and it was a magnet and it went in and and that's how they cheated. again, the guy that taught me was a cheat. And he he got kicked out of Vegas [09:56] when they put the cameras up. Once they put the cameras up, his gig was over. cheat on this game?" He says, "Well, as a player, I I I would do uh I would get on the end of the layout here, and I'd find a rookie dealer who was kind of [10:11] looking at the uh at the wheel. you know, dealers should kind of sit in this position to look at the play. But he'd find a dealer, turn his back around, and one in on the end somewhere, you know, that I knew was cut that I knew came up. [10:24] Now, I'm telling you in the context of this used to happen. Okay? Don't do this. They have cameras now with with a thousand pixels and they will find you. So, this is all this is all in historical context. [10:39] what would you do when you were a dealer? How'd you cheat there? He says, "Well, what I would do there is I would get a partner and I would put the chip underneath the marker and then when the marker came in, oh, what's that number? [10:51] It's number 10." And there you go. And now you're paying off the winner. And ideas because you're going to lose your job. It's not going to be a pretty historically, this is how cheating was done on this game. They cheated on the [11:05] wheel. They cheated on the play. The dealers collaborated with the players. right now the casino there. There's so many cameras, so many this game. You're not going to get cheated. You're not going to get [11:18] cheated. The only way you're going to get cheated is the 5% house advantage. That'll that'll take that takes care of business. So, the one thing I wanted to show you on this game is uh payoffs. When you make [11:32] your bets, I want you to know how much you're getting paid. You should know that because there is a dealer there. Not that the casino wants to cheat you, but dealers are human beings. They make mistakes. So, when the payoff comes, you [11:45] making how much you're getting. You want to know exactly what you're getting. And you want to and you want to know what chips are, what denominations they are. You can buy in for $1, you can have $1 chips. You can have $5 chips. So, you [11:59] correctly. That's why we have this on the wheel. This is usually on the back sure they're marked up correctly. You want to make sure you're getting paid want to make sure when they color up that they color you up exactly. So, when [12:14] you go from roulette color to regular chips, it's funny. Regular chips will have a denomination, you know, which is the these roulette chips. They don't say anything because it's all just chips and fun and games. So, [12:28] you really don't know. So, two things you want to know. You want to know what know how to color up. you want to know how to uh how to take your money and turn it in and and play the game. So, what I'm going to do is I'm going to [12:43] dealer, and she's going to show you how these payoffs are made, and she's going to give you some keys as to what they pay and how much they pay. So, with that, you you'll be the educated consumer. You're going to go in there [12:57] going to they're not going to intentionally cheat you on this game. uh you just want to make sure that you're getting the right amount of money. If for some reason they give you too much money, I give them the benefit of the [13:12] But if they don't give you enough, you got to let them know. And you don't have much of a chance because once you lock that money up, I mean, that's kind of hey, right there, you know, they have came. You want to let them know that [13:24] that wasn't correct. So, Linda, if you want to come on in. We're gonna make some bets and I'm gonna buy in and we're gonna have some fun. Hi, Steve. Hi. Thanks for coming. [13:37] So, all right. I'm coming up to the table and um let's see. Did I bring money with me today? Yeah. All right. Um now, you lay your money out on the [13:49] table. Okay. You never hand it to the dealer. Okay. You lay it on the table. She's going to get it. She's going to mark it. Uh, give me five dollar chips. Okay. So, she's going to mark them up. Yeah, they're somewhere there. [14:01] All right. And she's going to mark it up. And you want to know you want to know that she's marked up $5 cuz it might come time to pay off. And and you know, let's say you got they say you bet a dollar. So now the these are $5. This [14:14] is a stack of 20. Now once you get that stack, I mean, I like to check it to make sure that Linda didn't make a mistake right there. Okay. So now I'm the bet. I've got a certain section of numbers I like to bet. So So I'm going [14:26] numbers I like to bet. So So I'm going to bet them. And um we say it's a it's a $15 table. So I like 36. I like that a lot. I'm going to bet 20. And I know I'm like the neighbors. I bet a double zero. I bet a one. I bet a 13. I bet 24. Now I [14:43] there and you can't bet it, you say, "Hey, Linda, give me a zero. Give me a double zero." You know, split the zeros. You know, so the dealer will do that for you. You don't have to you don't have to get a cramp, you know. So, um, if I hit, [14:57] I want to hit, you know. So, I'm going to bet red cuz cuz red's my numbers are red. Uh, I'm going to bet uh even because my main number is even. Okay. I'm going to bet high. My name my main number is high. I'm going to bet the [15:11] section. I'm going to bet the color. And this isn't a system. This is my methodology. My methodology if you would. Because if I want to hit, I want to hit good. I I I want to make things happen because next move is to hit again [15:25] spin, Lindon. We're gonna see how that works out. You go. Good luck, Steve. Thank you, Linda. And you always want to be nice to the dealers and tip them and converse with them. And I'm going to get [15:37] into that a little more in another segment. Number 28. All right. Well, that didn't work out. Okay. You can tell I didn't rig this thing, but I did I did get the even and I did get the high number and [15:52] and I did get the uh the section. So, I I got some money out of that deal. Okay. I got some money out of that deal. Okay. So, I So, even missing my numbers, So, I So, even missing my numbers, I bought in for 100 and I've got [16:06] uh $65. So, I didn't show a profit. So, now now let's let's start this. What what I like to also do is I like to bet the last number. The last number was 28. And the reason I do that is I mean I don't have [16:23] that if you bet the last number you're going to win x amount of the dying. It's still it's 38 numbers. You know, the wheel doesn't know. But sometimes the same way. Sometimes they spin the [16:36] might want to bet every other number. Okay. When I worked as a dealer, I used to try to do it. I didn't have a partner or anything, but I was spin it the same See if the ball can come the same way. It just and and dealers are trained to [16:51] directions and so forth. So sometimes it's good to talk to the dealer and kind of it's hard for people to do two things at once. So if you talk to them, if you red or I'm going to put you on my number, then they kind of get in the [17:04] brain works of doing the same thing. I mean, if it happens, it happens. If it doesn't, it doesn't. If a dealer changes, the system's over. It's not really a system. It's it's a method. So, what was the number? 28. [17:17] So, we're going to bet the 28. And I'm going to bet all my other stuff here. My numbers I like. And uh I can't reach the double zero. Can you put the double zero on for me, Linda? Yeah. See, they're very accommodating people. And you know, [17:29] they're here for a good time, too. I mean, it's a job. I understand that. I casino. All right. Let's do it again. I got my $65. Let's see if I can if I can All right. I wish you luck. Thank you. [17:54] my god. It was the repeater. Nothing sweeter than a repeater. There's nothing sweeter than the repeater. She spun the ball the same way. Exactly. Oh my god. I'm going to have people [18:06] betting the same number all over the place now. Look at this. Oh my god. She's paying off. Oh my god. Look at them chips. Oh, the chips are coming. Oh them chips. Oh, the chips are coming. Oh boy. Oh boy. Look at that. Look at that. [18:20] Now my 100 is what [gasps] is one. What do I got here? You want You want to check her math? Okay. So, we did pretty good. You did good, Linda. Yeah. She shorted me one. Okay. See, I caught her. I caught her. You can catch [18:34] a pro now. Now, what do you do now? Geez. I don't know. I think I think I'm going to take this 300 and I've tripled my money. I've tripled my money with this nonsense. Okay. So, what I'm going to do is I I like tripling my money. I [18:48] cashier, but I'm going to take the balance of it and I'm going to bet it on I'm going to bet that and I'm going to bet the the double zero and the one and [19:01] um I like Gez, I like the 13. I don't want to miss that. And that 28. You that. Now, I'm going to I'm going to up it. I'm going to use that that parallel So, here we go. I've got I've got a hundred. I've got a $200 profit and I've [19:16] Absolutely. Can you hit that 28 again? do? I'm going to put one for the dealer on 28. You try to bribe him. You do what you can to get him get him in there. [19:31] Number three. Number three. Oh, boy. Uh, that wasn't a column. Got the column. The red. And I got the red. So, now I' I've kind [19:44] of taken this $300 and I've kind of ratold it. I I'm I'm not spending that. I'm going to the cage with that. But I've got these extra chips. So, I'm Three. Three. It was three. All right. We're [19:57] bet my other numbers. And I've already in my mind I'm a winner because I'm going to the cage. 13. and my 36. And let's let's do one more. Okay, [20:12] repeater. And if she would be spinning the opposite direction, okay, then you the opposite direction, okay, then you would bet every other number. [20:24] 31. 31. Well, a little rain must fall. Okay. So now what I would do at this point is I bought in for 100. I've tripled my money. Okay. So, I'm gonna tell Linda, I'm gonna go and I know what this is. I [20:39] know I've got 300 here. So, you want to know what you got coming. So, Linda, can Absolutely. So, now she's going to take that. She's going to prove it. She's going to count that out. There might be some supervisor [20:51] or something. It's going to take a look at that to make sure it's it's it's kosher. And she's going to give me the chips, $300. And you know what I'm doing now? I'll see you. I'll be at the cashier's cage. Okay. And at that point, [21:05] you know, nothing spends better than gambling winnings. Nothing spends better than gambling winnings. So, I got my whatever I want to do, whatever I like it. And and this is how you win at roulette. It's a hitand-run game. Okay. [21:22] she's going to show you what we call some picture bets. These picture bets place your little bets on the layout, you want to know what you're getting paid. I always know what I'm getting paid. I caught her shortening me a chip. [21:36] [laughter] Wasn't intentional. So, Linda, I want to you. I want you to show them some picture bets so when they bet them, they know, when when I first started dealing this game, and I didn't deal it a lot. I [21:52] I dealt it on a cruise ship out of out of Fort Myers Beach, Florida. And if I had a busy layout, I'd spin that ball really hard because I'm calculating in pay if this comes up? So, these picture bets come in handy for you. So, you're [22:05] know, you you don't it's hard enough to win at this game. You don't want to get you don't want to be short changed. So, Linda, the ball's in your court. Okay. So, we're going to start off with like a straight up and a corner. So, you [22:19] would get 35 for the straight up and eight for the corner. So, that would be 43. Now, I like to do a Mickey Mouse. So, now you're talking two corners in a straight up. That's going to pay 51. If you also do just the corners, and [22:35] that's 32. And if you fill it in with the splits, then that's 100. You put it in the middle, then that would be 135. So, those are pretty easy. You also have [22:47] just a corner and a split, which would pay 25. Um, you have four splits and a pay 25. Um, you have four splits and a straight up and that would pay 103. And once you get to know, it's really easy. You also have like a a street bet [23:03] and two line bets. So that's going to pay 21. Um, you also can do [23:15] Show them the 101. The picture red. I like that one cuz that's the easy one to remember. 101. Huh? Yeah. Yeah. Not the 101 in California because I like to drive the 15. But here [23:27] you go. Let me show you. The 101 is is this one here where it looks just like the picture. Oh, okay. I got you. 101. Yeah. Okay. I do 103, too. So, [23:41] And then I like to do two, you know, two is straight up and and one. Some people do that. 52. It's a deck of cards. It's easy to remember. Absolutely. Um, I think that's pretty good. [23:53] I think it is, too. Yeah. Thank you for help. I appreciate that. too. You did that. Great. Anytime. give you I don't want to give you a strategy, but a method methodology, if [24:06] you would. I'm not here for a long time. I'm here for a good time. Okay? And I like to I like I have I have a loss aversion, you know? I've been playing this game long enough, you know, and and I can play for fun and I can, you know, [24:20] I can buy in for a hundred and play. It's nice game. You sit in the big chairs and and if you have a lot of players, there's a certain camaraderie get a lot of rewards. I mean, there's something to these systems that let you [24:33] play a long time that they're all they're all technically you're you're not a system out there. If there were truly a system out there where you could win at this game, you wouldn't see it on the casino floor. They have a loss [24:48] aversion as well. Okay? That's why card counters aren't allowed. That's why cheats aren't allowed. They don't want you in there. They don't want a game that you're going to that you're going to win. Okay? Now, maybe there's uh some [25:01] come and say, "I play poker. I win." Well, that's that's a different game. You're you're playing against somebody else. I'm talking about house games. Every house game has an advantage or it would not be on the casino floor. Thank [25:13] you for staying to the end. I'd appreciate if you'd like, subscribe, comment any questions you have about any of these systems or anything we've discussed today. Greatly appreciated and I'll try to reply to everything.
