We're putting all of these gaming mice
headtohead to find the top five best
ones, but best is subjective, so each
spot will be its own category that the
mice are competing for. With the number
five spot being best value, then best
small mouse for claw and fingertip
grips, best for work and play, best for
fast-paced competitive FPS, and finally
allaround best of the best. Oh, and if
at any point during the video you want
to check out any of the top five or any
of the mice in this video, there are
Amazon links below. But let's start this
off finding the best value gaming mouse.
These are the mice competing in this
category, ranging from $80 to $100.
Immediately, the Corsair M75 wired has
very, very light switches and a lot of
pre-travel, which caused me to have a
lot of accidental clicking. Not just
that, but it also doesn't have an ultra
light cable in 2026. Therefore, it's
eliminated. Next, the Corsair Scimitar
Elite has a lot of great attributes, but
it's really more specifically designed
for MMO and MOA games. Therefore, it is
quite heavy at 114 g. So, while it is
eliminated here, it will also [snorts]
be reconsidered in the work and play
section. The next mouse is the Endgame
Gear OP1. It has great switches with
almost no pre-travel at all, as a
fantastic scroll wheel, and a great
ultra light cable. A con here is that
the skates do have slightly more drag on
the Y compared to the Xaxis. The shape
here is also quite small and very low
profile, making this optimal for claw
and fingertip grip styles, but pretty
much unusable for palm grippers. We're
going to eliminate this mouse here due
to its less inclusive shape and size,
but it again will be reconsidered in the
small mouse fingertip claw grip section.
That leaves these four mice to compete.
Right away, I think it's obvious due to
the weight, shape, and build quality
that the HyperX is beaten by all the
other three mice. Now, the Corsair Saber
is a good mouse with a great ultra
lightweight and speed, but not as good
as the A9 or the AX5 lacking in switch
feel. Between the Mchose AX5 and the ATK
Dragonfly A9 Ultimate, the ATK wins,
having the best switches with almost no
pre-travel, a more versatile shape and
size suitable for all grip styles. This
has great skates that are very, very
smooth and large, being very similar to
the Gro X Superlite, making it very,
very controlled. This is a great Gro X
Super Light clone and the best value
mouse on the list. With that, we move
into this section of the best small
mouse for fingertip and claw gripping.
Now, here are the mice competing for the
optimal aiming mice for a claw and
fingertip grip. Really, all of these
mice did well with either fingertip or
claw gripping, but some of them really
were standout options and did great with
both grip styles. The regular Saber V2
Pro Ultralite does quite well with a
fingertip grip due to its shape, weight,
and skates. Though I really did not like
clog ripping this mouse and its switches
are the worst out of all the [snorts]
competing mice. Not bad switches, just
the worst out of all of these, which are
very good. By the way, the MHose AX5
felt decent for clog gripping, but was
definitely too heavy for a fingertip
grip. We're eliminating it. Next,
comparing the four Pulsar Crazy Light
mice. Starting with the X2H Mini. The
X2H has a huge rear palm bump, which I
initially thought I'd really like for a
claw grip style, but I could just really
never get comfortable with it like I
could with the more subdued palm bump on
the X2. The Xlite and X3 both felt best
with a pinser claw grip, but still felt
too wide and not as locked in. That
mixed with these not being suited for
fingertip grips makes them eliminated.
The X2 Crazy Light felt the best for
fingertip gripping out of all of the
Pulsar mice while still being good for
claw grips, making this the winner of
the Pulsar lineup. Comparing the X2 Mini
to the WL mouse Beast X, the Beast X has
seriously phenomenal clicks. Zero
pre-travel. They feel incredible because
of the metal, obviously. Oh my god, I
love the clicks. Not that the pulsar is
bad, but these are exceptional. Except
that it sucks for claw gripping. Like,
it's terrible for claw gripping. Not
only due to the shape, but also the left
and right click protruding all the way
to each side of the mouse, giving you
very, very little room to grip with your
ring finger. This mouse is best for only
fingertip grip, making the X2 Crazy
Light the winner here, as it is more
versatile. However, it still falls short
in comparison to these next mice, which
are the real highlights. The ATK Blazing
Sky is a fantastic shape for claw
gripping. Feels very locked in with a
really, really nice palm bump. However,
it had more pre-travel with clicks than
the Endgame Gear OP1 and OP1W, which
were freaking awesome. So, the ATK is
eliminated. The OP1 and OP1W have
perfect clicks, being super immediate
and very crisp. The wired OP1 was a
perfect weight for fingertip gripping,
while the OP1W was a little too heavy
for a fingertip, making it less
versatile. That being said, claw
gripping is really what the OP1 is
about. This mouse felt like cheating.
It's super comfortable for claw
gripping. Your hand fits perfectly into
the shape and it feels incredible. very
locked in, great grip, and it's still
comfortable with a claw grip, which is
hard. Between the wired and the wireless
versions, the wired wins for me, having
an 8K pulling rate over a 4K pulling
rate and being lighter and more
versatile for either claw or
fingertipping. Okay, but now comparing
the OP1 Wired to the Logitech GPro X
Superite 2C, the smaller variant. The 2C
obviously has the best switches in the
industry. They are incredible, but the
OP1 isn't that far off either. The
Logitech is great for both fingertip and
claw gripping, but feels the second best
behind the OP1 as it just doesn't have
that insane feel of precision with its
shape. So, the Wired OP1 takes the W for
the best small mouse for fingertip and
claw gripping. Wow, did this mouse
impress the heck out of me. I'm obsessed
with it. With that, we move into the
number three section, which is the best
mouse for work and play. In this
section, we're really trying to find the
best balance between daily tasks and
just daily usage, productivity, and also
being able to seriously game. So, we'll
be putting an emphasis not just on the
gaming performance, but also the comfort
and programmable buttons. All of these
three gaming mice are great at doing
that work and play, but some of them
skew more work and some of them skew
more play. The Corsair Scimitar is the
most comfortable to hold and has by far
the most customization with its buttons,
which can be awesome for workflow and
some games. That being said, it's also
the heaviest and feels significantly
heavier than the Bass V3, which on paper
really isn't that much of a difference
in weight, but the Scimitar feels a lot
heavier, like substantially heavier. The
Bass V3 Pro has that super comfortable
thumb rest, which is very comfortable,
but also provides a lockedin grip that
makes it feel substantially lighter than
its 112 g weight. It features the
coolest RGB on any gaming mouse, in my
opinion, but come on. and it has a
switchable free wheel and tactile scroll
wheel along with plenty more buttons and
a sniper paddle. In game, this feels
significantly faster than the Scimitar
when doing low DPI FPS gaming, but not
as fast as the Aerox 5, which feels
extremely light for its size. The AX5 is
quite comfortable for all day usage and
relaxed usage, like daily tasks, but is
the least comfortable out of the three.
So, to be clear, all of them very
comfortable, just less comfortable than
the Bassilisk and the Scimitar. That
being said, the switches here do feel
the best. They're super clicky with
almost no pre-travel. And that mixed
with the speed and lightness of this
mouse while still including those extra
programmable buttons, this skews more to
the side of gaming, while the Scimitar
skews more work than play. with the
Basilus being a really great middle
ground of excellent comfort, daily use
tasks, programmable buttons, but then
being a fantastic gaming mouse, even
when doing low DPI gaming, much better
than you would expect for the weight of
this mouse. Therefore, it's the number
three pick for the best work and play
mouse. It's absolutely hard to beat the
Bass V3. But with that, we move to the
number two section, which is the best
for competitive fast-paced FPS gaming.
Here are the competing mice in this
section. We're really looking for the
best mouse for competitive games. So
speed and balance are very important.
And all of the mice here have to have a
minimum 8K pulling rate. Right away for
claw gripping, I prefer both the Pulsar
X2 Crazy Light Medium and GPro X
Superlite 2 over their smaller variants,
the X2 Crazy Light Mini and the Superite
2C. So those are eliminated. I think
most people will agree with that.
There's better shapes for those smaller
mice like we just went over. The lowf
free highpace was a surprisingly good
mouse but is very expensive and not as
good as the super light 2. So it's
eliminated. Next for super fast-paced
games, this mouse really needs to be
fast. So weight is important. All the
mice over 40 g are going to be
eliminated [snorts]
here. That leaves us with three big
contenders. The X2 Crazy Light, the Lab
X2F, and the Beast X Pro. After testing
these backto back extensively, it was
clear which mouse excelled over the
others and honestly surprised me the
most out of any mouse on this list. The
Pulsar [snorts] Lab X2F. This mouse is
obviously a fingertip grip only mouse.
And keep in mind, I don't typically use
nor even like a fingertip grip. I'm a
claw or palm gripper. Kind of edging
into more claw than palm. I used to be
the other way around. But I don't like
fingertip gripping almost ever. But when
a mouse gets this light and flickable,
it starts becoming addictive. And people
that don't typically like fingertip
gripping start to love it. This almost
feels like cheating when doing really
fast flicking movements. The mouse
glides with exceptionally little
friction. It feels like it weighs
nothing in your hand, so no fatigue even
though you're fingertip gripping, which
again, if you're fingertip gripping,
much more common to have fatigue with
most mice. Accuracy is super easy due to
the balance. Not to mention, the clicks
are exceptional with basically zero
pre-travel. All the other mice here are
great, but none of them compete with the
X2F. This thing is unbelievably good.
The performance, balance, ease of
flickability, and the accuracy with this
was exceptional. It's really that
simple. The Lab X2F is the best for
competitive FPS games. But now, the
number one section, the allound best of
the best gaming mouse. This is the
section where you're ready to spend
whatever it costs to get the best and
you want it for everyday usage. Whether
that's Call of Duty, Valerant to
Minecraft, these are the competitors
here. Now, the mouse that wins this
section has a great versatile shape
that's great for not only a claw grip,
but also fingertip grip and even palm
gripping when you're doing some relaxed
gaming. Its weight, balance, and
rigidity are great. It can do 8K pulling
wirelessly and its clicks are immediate
and the skates are very, very smooth.
So, which mouse is this? Well, the
Endgame Gear OP1W only has a 4K pulling
rate and is specifically for claw or
fingertip gripping. Though, I do
absolutely love this mouse, but [snorts]
it's off. The XM2W follows suit here
being kind of like a bigger OP1. So, if
you have bigger hands, I guess this
would work for you, but in most cases,
not the best mouse and still has a 4K
polling rate. For most people, the OP1
is going to be superior, but this one's
still off the list as well. Next,
Corsair Saber V2 Pros. Both the
magnesium and carbon fiber versions are
absolutely Corsair's best gaming mouse
that they have ever made. They both have
a good shape for claw and fingertip
grips, and you can definitely palm grip
it. But the Logitech Gro X Superlite 2
has slightly better shape with all of
those grip styles, and has the best
switches in the industry. And that
paired with the fact that the Saber is
the same to significantly more
expensive, both of those mice are out.
Next, we have the three BenQ Zi mice,
which none of them reach an 8K pulling
rate wirelessly. Out of the three, the
ZA13DW [snorts]
is my favorite for claw gripping, but
none of them are really the best for
fingertip gripping, especially compared
to the competition. They're just too
heavy, and none of them are suitable for
palm gripping, so no relaxed playing.
That leaves the Logitech GPro X
Superlite 2, the Razer Viper V3 Pro, and
the Death Adder V4 Pro. All three of
these mice have top-of-the-line specs
and a wireless 8K pulling rate. The
Death Adder is the largest though, and
it definitely leans into that palm to
relax claw grip, but its comfort is
undeniable. As for the click field, the
Logitech is obviously the best. It's the
best in the industry, but the Viper V3
is not far behind, being very crisp with
the Death Outer V4 being a slightly less
crisp than the Viper. Still very, very
good. We're still talking about high-end
mice here, just not quite as crisp as
the Viper. The shape of the Viper V3 Pro
is excellent. It's very comfortable
while being very locked in with a either
relaxed or very aggressive claw grip.
Fingertip gripping here is also great.
the weight and balance and the way that
it's shaped is easy to get your fingers
around and still feel locked in. And
somehow this shape is just right because
it allows palm gripping to be very very
comfortable, which is a really hard
thing to do all three things well. And
it really does balance all of them well.
Couple that with a great balance and
weight of 54 g, this is easily the best
all-around gaming mice that is pretty
much perfect for anyone. But again, if
