## Transcript

okay with the war within coming out in
less than a couple weeks classes and all
their designs are pretty much in their
final stage of adjustments before launch
day so what we see is what we get so
today we're going to be bringing you the
top five best classes heading into World
of Warcraft the war within based on the
class's performance and how their damage
tanking and healing capability is right
now their hero talent tree design if
they're fun and impactful the rotation
and if the class feel good to play as
well as the skill curve of the class if
it's relatively straightforward by the
way if you interested we recently just
launched our comeback kids live talk
show that we stream here on YouTube as
well as twitch so if you want to just
hang out with some friends meet new
people in the community talk about World
of Warcraft and enjoy each other's
company come on down I promise you won't
be disappointed starting off with our
first class we have an absolute Banger
with the death knight I think everybody
saw this one coming because the death
knight and all three of specs have been
absolutely filthy so far throughout the
war within beta whether it be spreading
all your diseases and chunking enemies
down with your AOE vamper strikes with
Unholy death knight dealing massive
obliterates and frost strikes to deal
explosive Frost damage with frost DK or
crucial crowd control and defensive
capabilities gripping enemies in
constantly with blood death knight when
it comes to a performance level all
three death knight specs are doing
amazing you have your battle res to
revive allies in combat your anti-magic
Zone to keep allies alive and raid your
fantastic crowd control abilities I am
loving death knight as a melee class
heading to the war within super fun high
damage capabilities as well as very
solid defensive in my opinion one of the
biggest things about what makes death
knight so great is the fact that they
have three hero talent trees that are
all super fun engaging impactful and
greatly train your build variety which
is so rare in a class heading into the
war within you have the writers of the
Apocalypse talent tree that summons the
army of the Dead to help you in combat
where each of your Riders individually
cast separate abilities to deal damage
or bring more utility you have the sand
Lane hero talent tree where you tap into
your inner vampire and use vampiric
strikes to greatly enhance yourself in
combat with improve proved haste as well
as dealing nice AOE damage to targets
during your cool down Windows then
finally you have the deathbringer hero
talentry which I will admit did get
nerfed multiple times but that doesn't
change the fact that it isn't good in
the right hands if you use it properly
you can end up taking out your giant
Scythe to slash enemies multiple times
in a row back to back to back and just
deal massive damage which is probably
the primary reason why it keeps getting
nerfed over and over I'm going to be
honest I think at this point all three
specs for DK are so close in power and
neck and neck that they're all just
about equal I I think Frost DK whether
it be you know your AOE obliterate and
frost strike build or the typical you
know breath of synr Goa is dealing nice
consistent damage you have the Unholy DK
that deals of course very high damage
with both Riders the apocalypse and the
sand Lane hero talent tree and then you
have the blood death knight that is very
strong you know with their self- sustain
their death strike you have all your
crowd control abilities like gorin's
grasp Abomination limb so you know you
can just group up a bunch of mobs
together for your DPS just one shot them
all listen top to bottom death knight is
performing very well and I am loving
this class the class thematically is
very fun the DPS is there for Unholy and
frost all three hero talent trees are
impactful they change up your gameplay
your rotations a little bit also being
very visually appealing I mean what is
there not to like about death Knights so
far heading into the new expansion
moving on next we do have the king of
Arcane the Mage now of course right now
Mage is another sure hit heading into
the new expansion whether it be you know
bringing nuclear explosive damage with
living bomb and combustion with fire
dealing oppressive arcanic impactful
damage non-stop with Arcane or chilling
enemies to their core with nuclear Comet
storms and glacial spikes with frost
Mage all three of these specs are very
high tier when it comes to DPS they
bring extra utility control grouping
potential heading into a new expansion
you got your time warp you got food for
your party you got portals wide variety
of gameplay and builds I mean we haven't
even gotten to my favorite part and that
actually is the hero Talent you're going
to notice that on this list in this
video almost every class has three sets
of Banger hero talents and it continues
that way with the Mage you have your
sunfury talent tree that numbers wise is
the weakest of the three technically but
it's awesome when it comes to visuals
you summon your Arcane Phoenix to assist
you in battle to shoot out non-stop pyro
blasts and Arcane magic as well as shoot
down meteors to deal explosive damage in
combat as well which is so much fun you
have the frostfire hero talent tree that
is all about combining you know the best
of both worlds of frost and fire to deal
explosive damage with Comet storms
meteors living bombs and occasionally
you get a proc to shoot out your instant
frostfire bolt which just does a ton of
AOE damage to targets and it's so so
satisfying not only that you have your
Spell slinger hero talentry which is
almost entirely passive but throughout
your rotation you're constantly shooting
out Arcane splinters that deals damage
to enemies while looking visually
appealing and not impeding on your
rotation when it comes to all three
specs from Mage all of them are really
really good in their own ways but
typically they're all very strong I
personally love fire Mage and Mythic
plus dealing those you know explosive
Frost fire bolts and all those living
bomb explosions going off it's just so
much fun you have Arcane Mage pretty
much known as the best overall range DPS
spec in the game right now tossing out
those Arcane barrages and Arcane orbs
like every other gcd with the speck and
talentry overhaul making the class feel
just so good and and just like butter
nowadays compared to what it used to be
and then you have Frost Mage which is
tossing out you know those really really
chunky glacial spikes that are AOE uh
you know the heavy-hitting combat storms
non-stop ice lances and just dealing so
much AOE split damage very very well
performing I honestly can't believe how
much blizzard loves this class over like
every other class that desperately needs
help like Druid um nearly every patch
there are just some major Buffs or
updates to the Mage class overall you
know all three specs are you know vary
in gameplay drastically they all three
have their themes and visuals that are
vastly different you have three very
well performing hero talent trees that
are all impactful and look great I mean
there is no reason that if you prefer
range DPS and a Caster at that that Mage
should shouldn't be number one or at
least two on your list when it comes to
a main heading into the new expansion
moving on to our next brute of a class
shockingly we have the warrior it's so
great for those players that are looking
for straightforward melee DPS or tank
this class is simple it has very little
responsibilities but my God whatever
this class actually is responsible for
it does very well protection Warrior
right now is easily one of the beefiest
classes in the game constantly taking in
damage at a consistent level and not
being like very spiky when it comes to
taking damage which is really really
easy for your healers arms Warrior
having one of the most simple rotations
in the game while dealing very massive
AOE damage and then Fury Warrior being
super fast-paced with one of the highest
burst Windows of damage I've seen
throughout the war within beta hitting
like 2 3 4 million DPS I am loving
Warrior right now you have what feels
like an army of offensive cooldowns at
your disposal to like macro together
into one window insane burst damage
fantastic tanking capabilities and so so
much more when it comes to their hero
talents I really love the Colossus hero
talentry for arms as It just fits the
class so well adding a nuclear button
like demolish to pair into your
offensive cooldowns and chunky Cleaves
Amplified your buer you know overpowered
it's such a nice one-two punch you have
the Slayer hero talentry for Fury Weare
which I'm not going to lie is almost
entirely passive but good God does it
amplify your damage by like double it
improves your bloodthirst ability your
blad storm your execute and it just
makes you hit so hard when you combine
all of your cool Downs together and it's
just so satisfying man then when it
comes to the mountain F hero talent tree
for protection it brings you you know
some consistent AOE damage with your new
and improved Thunderclap ability and
crucial Avatar cooldown reduction making
you constantly in the Avatar state which
is important for survivability and extra
damage also listen all three hero talent
trees are perfect for each spec
individually and are super fun and
engaging so when it comes to the warrior
I got to tell you I think all three
specs are about neck and neck in terms
of iability protection after the recent
tank changes stayed relatively the same
as their self-healing was never really
the in the game and it was really all
about you know high damage mitigation
consistently and overall the protection
Warriors doing really really good right
now compared to some of the other
classes like prop p and brew master monk
arms Warrior and fury Warrior are about
neck and neck in terms of damage when it
comes to Mythic plus and rating you know
they have two sets of hero talent trees
that are very fun my favorite part about
the warrior once again has to be the
fact that you pop all of your offensive
coold Downs at once you have like three
or four of them and you just see your
damage numbers Skyrocket to the top of
the meters and it is easily one of the
most satisfying things in the war within
so far the one draw back of warrior I
will say is that it doesn't have much
build Variety in the game I mean it
actually has one of the lowest right now
Fury you have your Slayer hero Talent
Tre that just feels way better than
Mountain thing and there's really only
one or two specs total for Fury as well
as arms so when it comes to Warrior you
don't really have many options when it
comes to flexibility what you see is
kind of what you get and that's not
really a bad thing it just depends on
who you ask I've never maned a warrior
or even have it as one of my alts but I
think that's going to change this time
around because I am loving the fury
Warrior build right now it is so much
fun so much nuclear damage tons of
offensive coold Downs three hero talent
trees that are fun for each spec
individually and you know with three
specs that are both performing well in
their own right super fun to play right
now I love Warrior as a chunky Bruiser
melee DPS or tank moving on next up we
have the master of Darkness the Warlock
and boy oh boy has this class seen some
major improvements heading into the new
expansion we're talking about a DPS
class that has three very fun DPS specs
that all vary drastically in build
variety visual themes hero talentry
Theory crafting I mean you have loads of
utility with your soul Stones your hell
Stones demonic gway summoning Stones I
mean the Warlock from a design and DPS
standpoint is doing great right now and
by God is this a safe class to play
heading into the new expansion you got
chunky burst damage with Destruction
Warlock with their chaos bolts and fell
portals non-stop skin melting damage
overtime effects with Affliction Warlock
and the minion Master demonology warlock
that summons an army of demons to do
your binning you know players are raving
about how much they love the changes to
Warlock and how well they're doing so
far heading the new expansion with all
their new hero talent trees also you
know you have the diabolist where you
summon minions from the legion based on
how many Soul shards you spend and not
only that each of those Minions that
come out change the effect of some of
your abilities giving you a very nice
variety of gameplay and mixup of your
rotation it's very very unique you have
the soul harvester hero Tre that
sometimes affects your soul shards to
where when you spend them you summon a
soul harvesting demon to assist you in
battle and to deal additional damage
while also vastly increasing your key
abilities and then lastly you have the
hell caller hero talent tree which
transforms your imilate or corruption
ability into a new improved damage
overtime Effect called wither that deals
significantly more damage and not only
that you get a brand new one minute
offensive cooldown that vastly increased
your haste so everything feels so much
better listen I'm going to be honest
with all three warlock specs they aren't
too far apart right now I mean it's like
five or 10% between each but I think
though if one has to be the technical
best it has to be a fliction warlock
they have two hero talent trees that are
very close in terms of numbers but both
are impactful and doing wonders I think
demonology requires a lot of skill but
it's performing well enough to be able
to be played and picked up if you have
patience and time to learn it and then
lastly you have Destruction Warlock I
will say technically is the you know the
one spec lagging behind a little bit but
that doesn't mean it isn't great in
itself and it will continue to perform
well throughout the expansion listen
when it comes to warlock as a Caster DPS
all three specs have fantastic design
with impactful hero talent trees super
fun to use and offer a very wide variety
of builds it's very very rare for a
class to have three vastly different
hero to trees that are all strong not
only that all three specs are performing
very well so not only all of that you
also have fantastic utility with all
their demonic gateways Soul Stones hell
Stones I mean you're in a fantastic spot
and easily one of the best best classes
heading into the new expansion now when
talking about the best classes in the
war within you didn't seriously think
we're going to continue without
mentioning the evoker did you I mean
this class not only has easily one of
the best healers in the game with
preservation but overall they have the
best DPS support class in the game with
augmentation which can easily find a
group in any form of content simply
because it's hands down the most
impactful class in the game you buff
your allies for more damage your tank
with more survivability and healer with
more Mana regeneration of course we know
that these two classes are great but
don't sleep on Devastation evoker either
because this class easily has some of
the highest burst damage in the game
caring tip the scales with dragon rage
fire breath eternity surge your deep
breath combo I mean the damage is
absolutely there for Devastation it just
needs to be a little bit more consistent
when it comes to their hero Talent Tre
surprisingly when a class has probably
you know the best healer with
preservation as well as the best overall
DPS in the game with augmentation they
also have some of the best hero talentry
designs in the game as well which is so
shocking you have the scale Commander
which greatly increases your AOE damage
after you use an Empower spell you also
trigger your bombardments on your uh
enemies from allies to deal more damage
to them as well as reducing the coold
down on your deep breath ability so
you're constantly dealing heavy AOE
damage and buffing yourself in allies
you have the flame shaper hero talent
tree which focuses more on like red
damage and fire damage based abilities
honing in on way more AOE DPS and
increasing your damage over time effects
with your new hero Talent ability in
Gulf which deals a nice amount of of AOE
damage as well as your new passive
enkindle then you have the Chrono Ward
and talentry which is great for
preservation which you know enhances
your living flame and turns it into
Chrono flame which is much stronger you
gain a massive buff to your haste and
cooldown recovery rate when you're used
tip the scales you summon your threads a
fate to buff your allies I mean all
three of these hero talent trees are
very solid and very welld designed
giving you a nasty amount of build
variety between all three of their specs
which is very very rare uh now listen
I'm not going to lie preservation and
augmentation are definitely stealing the
show when it comes to evoker but that
doesn't mean Devastation is bad by any
means I think the devastation evoker is
you know a very straightforward range
Caster DPS that's fun nice Bild variety
you just got to know that preservation
as a Healer is dominating with like
three or four different bills that are
just so solid for that class not only
that augmentation is known as the best
class in the game buffing your allies
through the roof and it's just mandatory
to have so of course Devastation is
going to get overlooked and put on the
back burner compared to the other two
specs overall I love the evoker as a
class you have three sets of hero talent
trees that are fun engaging two out of
three of their specs are amongst the
best in the game if not the best in the
game Devastation has its you know
specific Niche dealing some of the
highest burst damage in the game on
select targets at a certain time I I
love the design of that spec but you got
to know how preservation and
augmentation are the Highlight right now
but overall I love the build variety
utility through the roof evoker by far
one of the best classes in the game and
it's not even close and yes even though
I know I did say top five best classes
we have an honorable mention because our
next best class heading into the war
within is the shaman the shaman came out
of nowhere the last month receiving
non-stop Buffs class reworks adjustments
redesigns and tuning to make the class
overall very very appealing to many
people out there you have incredible
utility with all your totems your brand
new Sky Fury buff you have a wide
variety of DPS options with you know
their melee enhancement their range
spellcaster with elemental and not only
that the restoration Shaman one of the
most fun and fluid healers in the game
with all their redesigns right now so
now listen truth be told Shaman is
eating good and believe it or not for a
class to have hero talent trees that are
designed well and effective for such a
wide variety of gameplay it's not common
um you got to know totemic talent tree
is performing very well for restoration
as it ties your healing re to your brand
new totem and enhances all of your other
totemic abilities which for restoration
is a very big deal you got your healing
stream totem your spirit link it's all
fantastic stuff for restoration Shaman
not only that we saw major Buffs to the
stormbringer hero talentry recently
which has really elevated the gameplay
for Elemental and enhancement overall
and it really hones in on that Master of
lightning for Shaman and then lastly you
have the farer which has been dominant
for elemental shaman recently with the
lava burst builds constantly summoning
out ancestors to assist you in battle to
deal extra damage listen I love the
designs for all three of hero talent
trees they're very cool thematically but
you got to know they may not be like the
best ever in the game they may not be
fantastic for every single spec for
Shaman but they are at least usable and
playable to where the builds that are
there have options and they have some
build variety and because of that it is
a very nice choice in terms of hero
talents when it comes to a class as a
whole I really like all three of them
when it comes to all three of their
Shaman specs individually you got to
know right now all of them are eating
very good as a range DPS elements will
shot up to pretty much near the top in
terms of damage and you know you pair
that with their massive utility the is
performing very well while yes the
Enhancement Shaman rotation is super blo
in and full of like way too many buttons
whether you like it or not the damage is
working right now both their hero talent
trees are performing nearly
neck-and-neck with totemic and
stormbringer and then lastly you have
the restoration Shaman which I guess
technically is slightly slightly lagging
behind the other two specs but that's
only because enhancement Elemental are
doing so well right now and it just
might be a slight number tuning issue
for restoration listen nevertheless you
got to knowe right now Shaman is easily
one of the best classes in the game you
have three specs that are full of
variety you have a range spellcaster
with elemental melee Bruiser with
enhancement then you have your backline
healer with restoration all of them have
two viable hero talent trees
individually a very wide variety of
builds making Shaman just super
versatile and fun in any aspect you'd
like to play them in I am loving Shaman
right now and then you pair that with
their massive amount of utility combined
with their performance versatility it
just makes them one of the best classes
in the game and I think they are a sure
hit heading into the new expansion but
okay ladies and gentlemen the war within
