## Transcript

have missed in the brand new Avengers Doomsday concept art poster. Hey, Ogburn. So, we are going to break down this new image, discuss the characters and teams that they present, as well as
going to point out some hidden details that have major implications for how Avengers Endgame and Avengers Doomsday are connected, as well as a part of the poster that may actually confirm a giant Doomsday leak that's been circulating
for a while now. But don't worry, I will give you a spoiler warning, a heads up before we discuss anything leak related. And then after all of that, I do want to break down some controversy surrounding this poster as well. So, let's start by
doing a roll call. We have got Bob aka the sentry, but notice he's in his Bob form, not his sentry form, because as we saw in the Thunderbolts postredit scene or the new Avengers postredit scene, Bob cannot go sentry mode because it may
unleash the void. And we know that that postredit scene is an actual scene pulled directly from Avengers Doomsday. Next, we have John Walker's US agent. We've got Ghost, Red Guardian, Bucky Barnes, and Yolena Bova. These are our
Thunderbolts turned new Avengers. And they are all grouped together here in this poster. Above them, we have some OG Avengers like Thor wielding Stormbreaker. We've got Ant-Man making a bow. And of course, Steve Rogers rocking
that Hannes black t-shirt. I've got the same one. And he's got those luscious same one. And he's got those luscious locks and a beard. Got those as well. Now remember, we see Steve wield Mujolnir in Avengers Endgame, but it is
version that Steve was supposed to return to the past when he returned the reality stone. And it would appear that he did just that because look closely and you will see that the hammer has all of these cracks in it. This is the same
hammer that Hela destroyed and that Jane Foster reformed in Thor Love and Thunder. It's not a hammer that Steve has held on to for all of these years. the trailer that was shown at Cineacon that Thor is actually in possession of
Muolnir and that it then levitates over to Steve when they meet upon the Fantastic 4's ship. So it would appear that Thor is spotting Steve Muolnir in this fight against Doom. Now speaking of Doom, we've got the man himself in mask,
a different mask than the one we saw in Fantastic 4 first steps postredit scene. And you'll notice that his eyes are glowing green. And below him where we see Loki, his eyes are glowing as well. And they almost look like wided out.
video, I do want to discuss how this placement of Loki in the poster could be confirming a long reported rumor about the movie, but we'll hold off and I will give you that spoiler warning at the end. Now, below Loki, we have the
original Fox era X-Men. Well, some of them, right? There's James Marston as Cyclops, front and center, looking absolutely epic. And flanking him are >> Oh, I'm about to make a name for myself here.
>> Good for him. Tatum was supposed to play Gambit in a solo film years ago back under Fox, but it never happened. Then he got a bone thrown to him for Deadpool getting to play the character in a freaking Avengers movie. Good for you,
man. All right, we have also got Rebecca Roma back as Mystique, rocking a new haircut and a pale blue skin color similar to that of Jennifer Lawrence's last appearance as Mystique in X-Men: Dark Phoenix. You'll notice Mystique is
also rocking this white costume just like her costume from the comics. Now, below her, we have Alan Cummings back as Nightcrawler. And you'll notice he has some white in his hair. Over here, we have Hank McCoy's beast, the Kelsey
Grammar version that we last saw in the Marvel's postredit scene. And of course, we've got the legends themselves, Ian Mckllen and Patrick Stewart, back as Magneto and Professor Xavier. Now, up top, we have the Fantastic Four rocking
some cool new costumes. Right down here, we have Sherice Black Panther and King Umbaku. We've got Shani rocking the 10 rings. And then up top, we have Sam Wilson's Captain America and his sidekick, Walking Torres, the New
Falcon. Now, you'll notice that this concept art is divided into three colors. We have purple, blue, and green. And these three colors represent the three different universes that we will be following in this film. The mainline
616, MCU, the Fantastic Force universe 828, and the Fox X-Men universe, universe 10005. This divying of colors to represent the McGuffin that is universes and their colliding status as the multiversal
incursions ensue. They mirror the previous McGuffin of the Infinity Saga, the Infinity Stones. and the way those six colors divided this very similar concept art released for that film. Now, you'll notice not only these cracks, but
there's also these floating pieces of debris, especially down here with the X-Men, that are very reminiscent of the purple sky cracks that we saw in Spider-Man No Way Home. This is all, of course, meant to be visual imagery of an
incursion. Now, you'll also notice that Thor has yellow lightning surrounding Stormbreaker. Usually Thor's lightning is blue. So this could be a hint that Thor will be reaching a new level of power in this film. In the Thor
to Odin for help. >> Learn to me the strength of the old fathers so that I may fight once more. >> Perhaps we are going to see Odin grant Thor the Odin force, which is also depicted as yellow in most of the
Steve. Some people are displeased with Steve's attire in the film, a black t-shirt and pants. And some are lamenting the fact that he's not in some from Winter Soldier. >> If you're going to fight a war, you got
>> But we need to keep something in mind. Steve is no longer Captain America. He's no longer a superhero. He has retired. And from the confirmed descriptions of the Doomsday trailer that was shown at Cineacon, Steve appears to be on board
the Fantastic 4 ship headed to the MCU, not for war, not to do battle, but he's essentially serving as like an ambassador. So really, why would he need a uniform? I mean, I I get it. I get wanting him to put on like a like a
from the comics, but maybe something more similar to what he wore in Infinity War. I do get that. But I just don't think that Steve at this moment that he is under the impression that he's getting back into the thick of it as far
as like engaging in battle and fighting bad guys right at this point. I think he's just Steve Rogers and that's enough. Now, another complaint I've seen is that the X-Men lineup sucks. Please. Is it different? Sure. Is it lacking a
certain Australian with a nice pair of smooth criminals down under? Yes. But we have got Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Xavier, Gambit, Beast, and Mystique, who yes, is an X-Men in the Fox cannon. >> The women are always saving the men
about changing the name to X-women. >> Plus, we have Magneto, and they are all being played by their OG actors. So, if you are complaining about this X-Men just someone who likes to complain. But, I will say the absence of Halib Berry
Storm and even Funky Jensen's Gene, it is disappointing. But I do have a feeling that they may still pop up in this movie or at least Secret Wars. Now, as for Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, look, man, I've said for years now that I see
no scenario where Hugh's Wolverine isn't included in Doomsday or at least Secret Wars. I remember hearing some go on and on about how Deadpool and Wolverine was his final swan song and he's done. No, you don't come back after Logan in the
MCU's multiverse saga with Doomsday and Secret Wars on the horizon and not ask Wolverine. And you know, that actually reminds me, I recently came across this interview with Jackman back when he was doing press for the Wolverine in like
>> I just find it almost impossible there's not a way to bring Iron Man, all the Avengers characters, Wolverine, the X-Men characters, Spider-Man. So, is it a little weird to me that they are missing out on having Wolverine in the
weird not seeing him alongside the but I still think he's in the movie. And, you know, with Wolverine not there, we're really getting to let Cyclops shine. So, I'm fine with it. Now,
huge character that you would think they'd be marketing for the movie, I well, but for some reason, he's not in the marketing. I've said for a while, there's just no way that Marvel passes on having their biggest, most popular
character, Spider-Man, be in the huge event film that is Doomsday. Whether that be Tom Spider-Man, Toby Spider-Man, Andrew Spider-Man, there's going to be a Spider-Man in the movie. As for other missing X-Men, Deadpool and Wolverine,
they are supposed to be in universe 10005, the Fox X-Men universe. That's confirmed in Deadpool and Wolverine. And this team of OG X-Men is also that OG Fox X-Men universe X-Men team, at least a version of it. So, that makes me
wonder, where's Colossus? He lives at the X-Mansion. Where's Negaic: Teenage addressed in the film. Probably not. Now, another thing I've seen is some discussing this poster not featuring a Sam Wilson Avengers lineup. We see the
Thunderbolts or new Avengers here all grouped together as a team. But as for Sam and Waqen and the Avengers team that they are building, we don't see Ant-Man over there with Captain America and Falcon. Shani is pretty close by. So,
that's cool. But maybe this does confirm that contrary to my theory that Sam may have already recruited Ant-Man and Shani come the start of Doomsday, maybe not. Okay, now now here's a big one. Where the hell is Neymar? On this poster, we
do have 27 characters and that lines up with the 27 characters featured in Chairwatch, right? Wrong. Steve Rogers, he was not part of Chairwatch. So if every Chairwatch character was on this poster, plus Steve, there would be 28
characters total. But that's not the case. And the missing one is of course Neyar. But why? Neyar was featured in the Wakandan and Fantastic 4 trailer for Doomsday. So why isn't he right here in this very open spot for him to be
standing or flying with his little winged feet next to Shi and Embaku? Answer, I have no idea. It It's weird. Maybe he doesn't actually play a big part in the movie. Maybe it's a simple oversight by the artist who did it.
Maybe when this was drawn, Neymar wasn't going to be like as big a part of the film and as he is now. But here's what could be going on. You'll notice that everyone in this poster, apart from Dr. Doom, of course, is a hero. Now, we can
characters in this poster, they will be going up against Dr. Doom at some point in the movie. Well, maybe Neymar isn't going to be one of those characters going against Doom. Maybe Neymar is going to be team Doom. We've heard
reports that in this movie, Doom is going to have masked allies who I characters like Doctor Strange, Clea, Scarlet Witch, etc. Maybe we'll see Neymar also cut a deal with Doom. A deal that includes maybe taking Talon and
moving it to the void like I assume Doom is going to do with his own kingdom of Latvia to survive the multiversal collapse. Essentially, I'm saying that you can take Talon and push it somewhere else.
center, right? He's the looming Darth Vader head of the image. But notice who are the other two big pieces of this poster. The two main characters flanking Doom. We've got Steve Rogers and we have got Reed Richards. Now, in the comics,
they're like Batman and Joker, Spider-Man and Green Goblin. They are each other's greatest foe. But for Doomsday, it's been heavily reported that Doom and Steve Rogers, their rivalry is what will be front and
the film. But having Reed positioned like this in the poster and not like Thor and then having Reed maybe more off those who were a little disappointed that the Reed v Doom rivalry wasn't
going to be explored in these films. I think this tells us that while yes, Steve is the lead of this movie and Doom's conflict with Steve will be the the center of Doomsday, they are going to use Doomsday, I think, to establish
this rivalry between Reed Richards and Dr. Doom. a rivalry that I think will continue for years to come going into Secret Wars and then beyond. So, we are complaint about this poster that I've seen making the rounds is, wow, an
Avengers movie without any Avengers or an Avengers team. I know this is probably rage bait, but I'm going to fall for it anyway. There is literally a team called the Avengers right here on the poster. Okay, sure, they're called
the Avengers, but they aren't like the Avengers characters that we've been aren't the Avengers from like a meta perspective, right? That's a fair point. So, it's a good thing that Steve Rogers, Thor, Ant-Man, Bucky, Sam Wilson,
you wanted some new blood that was promised to be joining the Avengers team? Look at that. Shy, Black Panther, Shani, Walking Taurus, Falcon. Also, Avengers movie since Avengers: Age of Ultron that was an Avengers movie based
on an actual team of Avengers. The team split in Civil War. Tony says so himself in Infinity War that the Avengers aren't a thing anymore. >> Come Infinity War, the Avengers no longer refers to the official team known
as the Avengers. The Avengers refers to heroes coming together to avenge. That includes teams of heroes as well, like the Guardians of the Galaxy. In Endgame, we hear Steve say Avengers assemble, which was referring to every motherucker
there. So, spare me the whining. This poster has basically got two sets of Avengers, two OG Avengers and Thor and Steve, a whole ass Fantastic 4 and a team of X-Men. If that isn't enough for you, then nothing was ever going to be.
potential spoilers based on some heavily reported leaks. Ready? Spoiler warning. Still here? It's been theorized, reported on, and rumored for a while that we will see Loki die again at the hand of Dr. Doom this time around. And
rumor has it, again, spoiler warning, rumor has it that his heart will be ripped out of his chest and that Doom will steal his power to control the multiverse. That is hinted at here in this poster with Doom having the green
glowing eyes. Plus, where is Loki positioned? Right at Doom's heart and right in the center of the poster, which represents him being right at the center of the multiverse and probably the guy that the Avengers, the X-Men, the
trying to get to. I think this tells us that Loki, you know, yes, he is still center of it all. I think that's where Shani's Tin Ring's beacon is leading to. And I think this is all foreshadowing that yes, Doom steals Loki's power,
maybe even takes his heart. So, that's everything I caught in this concept art know if I missed anything down in the comments below. Let me know what you overall it looks really cool. I'm not crazy about like the colors and stuff,
critique. This isn't like an official movie poster. It's more in the vein of that Infinity War concept art that came out before that movie, which I really love. I very vibrant. Love that piece. This one not as great, but it still gets
your thoughts down in the comments below. If you're new here, be sure to notified every time we upload a new video. And you can also feel free to in the description below. For Screen Crush, I'm Colton Ogrren.
