## Summary

Tommy and Ollie test extreme gaming gadgets, including a transforming handheld console, an AI 3D screen, a hand massager, a smart board game, a chair sound system, a phone controller, a gaming pillow, a couchmaster, a portable projector, and a PS5 travel case. They each get to keep three items.

### Key Points

- **Opening and rules** [0:00] — Tommy and Ollie introduce the video: they bought extreme gaming gadgets and each can keep three products.
- **VoiceMod key** [0:59] — A device that changes your voice when gaming online. Tommy tries it and finds it amusing.
- **1X Sugar Sugar 1 handheld** [2:06] — An $800 transforming handheld console that emulates 3DS at 4x resolution. Tommy likes it and decides to keep it.
- **AI 3D screen** [4:18] — A large device that uses AI to convert 2D games to 3D. Tommy finds it immersive but thinks it would cause migraines and not be used often.
- **Hand massager for gamers** [5:57] — A massager that squeezes the hand. Tommy finds it uncomfortable and compares it to a blood pressure monitor.
- **Smart board game** [7:33] — A $400 board that combines physical pieces with digital gameplay. Tommy loves it and decides to keep it.
- **Rage pad** [9:24] — A pad that makes noises when you hit it. Tommy doesn't want it.
- **Kolo GCS chair sound system** [10:24] — An 11-speaker system that attaches to a chair for immersive audio. Tommy finds it cool but not high fidelity and decides not to keep it.
- **M-Con Osnap smartphone controller** [12:18] — A MagSafe controller with fold-out handles and a kickstand. Tommy thinks it's good for phone gamers but not for him.
- **Gaming pillow** [13:34] — A pillow with a MagSafe mount for handheld gaming. Tommy initially dismisses it but later rates it, though he doesn't keep it.
- **Couchmaster** [14:43] — A lapboard for PC gaming on the couch. Tommy thinks it's cool but not for him.
- **Portable projector** [16:24] — A tiny projector that fits in a pocket. Tommy is impressed and decides to keep it.
- **Poga Yes OLED PS5 travel case** [17:41] — A portable PS5 with OLED screen. Tommy thinks it's too bulky and decides not to keep it.

### Conclusion

Tommy ends up keeping the 1X Sugar Sugar 1 handheld, the smart board game, and the portable projector, and reflects that it was a great day.

## Transcript

Say your prayers, Tommy. Mate, you can't
just pull a gun on me.
>> Don't look at it. Look that way. I'm not
going to not look at it if you put a gun
to my head. And everyone's just
comfortable with this.
Zelda. Yeah, it shoots Switch
cartridges. That was nasty. I think the
idea is you don't know what video game
to play, so you shoot someone,
[laughter] do you know what That is
cool. Tommy and his back, and we have
bought the most extreme gaming gadgets
that money can buy, including actually
Tommy, cover your ears for a second. All
right.
The reason I'm whispering is because
part of this video is you get to pick
three products to actually keep. [music]
But Oh, really?
>> when you lock one in, you can't change
your mind. Oh, really?
Oh, can't I just have them all, though?
No. All right. We'll just keep that
somewhere around as well. I don't want
that Game & Watch. That's from years
ago, isn't it? Oh, no. It's an
unfortunate color. Which flavor have you
got?
>> Brown.
A new flavor. What do you mean, flavor?
It's the hands. My hands don't need
flavor, they're hands. Starting with the
VoiceMod key, which lets you change your
voice when you're gaming online on your
console. Have you ever been recognized
just from the lobby?
>> Yeah, sometimes, dude. Yeah.
>> Oh, actually, it could be awkward.
>> Yeah. So, what do you do? It stops
wearing. It's another option. Yeah. Oh
my god.
>> It changes your voice.
>> Hello. And then Testing. That's what you
sound like.
>> Yes.
>> I know. Pick a voice. Villager.
>> [laughter]
>> Do you
follow
our hello
my boys?
>> [laughter]
>> Shall we look at some tag? Do you like
that? Was that Was that cool?
I think that voice followed by do you
like that is not allowed.
>> Hello. Hello. Wow.
Oh, no. Oh.
Oh hi.
Ooh, Tommy, you're cute.
Hey.
How are you, Aaron? So.
I I don't want to keep this. Oh. I was
going to ask.
>> You can have it.
>> Oh, really? For me? I don't know. I'm
all right. You keep the Game & Watch.
Are you going up?
>> Yeah, it's a squeeze. Why?
This is not
>> You Oh, wow. Oh.
But now from $60 all the way to $800.
This is the 1X Sugar Sugar 1.
A bizarre mouthful of a name for what
actually seems like a fascinating
transforming handheld console.
What was your favorite handheld? Oh,
probably the 3DS.
That's a great answer. Okay. Because we
have got the modern reimagining of that
concept. Have you ever seen this?
What is this?
What is this? So, this is emulating 3DS
in like four times the resolution. Oh,
mate.
>> Does it bring back any memories?
Yeah, it does, but it's also just like
awesome. It's like a Steam Deck and a
and a DS had like a baby. Actually, the
sticks feel a lot better than any
hardware Nintendo has produced.
>> These are so like the buttons have a
click to them. Cuz they're all touch
screen. You can still use it like a DS.
There's a thing you can do here. So.
Okay. This is so cool.
>> [laughter]
>> I like hanging out with you, Ollie.
Yeah. That was a 3DS emulator. This is
now just full Android. It's a pretty
nice looking game as well. It's really
nice. That's like up there with the OLED
Switch, isn't it? Yeah. This is like
$800. Oh, wow. Okay. Well. It's a lot
more than a Switch. I just realized I
think I'm getting gamer gear over the
place. Oh, why are you gluing up this
nice thing? My concern, you know when
you have like all these like moving
parts and stuff is that it's really
space inefficient. So, after like you've
only got a tiny amount of room for your
chip and stuff like that. If you were
buying a handheld to play games like
this, you'd be wasting money buying
this. You almost have to need both of
these form factors for this to be worth
it. Yeah. So, I only get to choose now
if I get to keep this.
>> You get to choose now. Is there things
that I'm going to like more than How
many do I get to keep? Three. Yeah, I
think I'll keep I think I'll be stupid
I'll be stupid I'll be stupid not to
keep this. I really I actually I like
it.
Mate. Thank you. Oh, you're welcome.
Oh, wow. Maybe some regret in this
later.
Okay. Okay, that was an ominous thing.
It was ominous, yeah. To say after that
after that nice moment. Well, okay.
Well, since he loves the 3DS so much,
there's actually another dimension to
that console that's also had a modern
take, the glasses-free 3D tech.
Oh [music] my god, this thing's
enormous.
What am I looking at here? What is this
behemoth? So, this can apparently play
games in three dimensions, but because
no one's actually making games in 3D
anymore, this thing uses AI to convert
2D games into 3D games. You would flick
this little switch at the top. Woah.
>> Oh, man. Woah. This is going to be
lovely for about three minutes until I
have a migraine.
But wow, that's like really immersive.
Oh, look at this. This is like a Oh,
check that. Like a trackpad. Trackpad.
Yeah.
In case you're just sick of the
joystick.
>> [laughter]
>> You know the thing is, this is cool.
>> [music]
>> It would sit on my shelf forever. Like
I'm never going to be like, "Do you know
what? Let's bust out the AI generated
3D." It's like 3D TVs, isn't it? It's
like 3D is never the one piece of tech
that you're like, "You know what I need
right now? I need some 3D in my life."
>> Let's just leave it behind. You know
what I mean? 3D, I don't I I didn't get
it at the time and I definitely don't
get it now. Let's show a YouTube video.
Oh, mate. Is it going to play in 3D? It
could do. Oh, no. Do these come off or
They do actually, yeah. Do they? How do
they This doesn't feel Yeah.
>> [laughter]
>> That's not right, is it? This is like
holding the bottom of a baseball bat. AI
3D mode. Does it work? Yeah, I mean
a
a bit. Thing is, I was there. So, like I
don't need to
The fact that that's AI is pretty cool.
I think it's actually like really good
execution for a concept that no one
asked for.
Yeah, exactly. All right, off we go.
I don't want it, by the way. Okay. Yeah.
Well, that thing was really stretching
the definition of handheld. I know what
we could both do with, a hand massager.
A hand massager for gamers, of course.
Do you ever get hand pain while you're
like typing or gaming? There used to be
a thing in Minecraft where you would
have to jitter click to like win the
games. You have to click as quick as you
could on a mouse. After a while of that,
my hands would start hurting. I can
reach 12 clicks [music] per second. You
are a bad boy. So, this is a massager
for gamers. And you want me to stick my
hand in that? Everything in my instincts
says like when you come to this man's
big man chair and he says stick your
hand in this thing, don't do [laughter]
it. Oh my god, there's like finger
sockets.
What? It's clamped down on my hand. No,
it's clamped [clears throat] down. Okay,
I'll put some heat on there, too.
>> Oh, oh, ow, it's tight. You must know
better than most people that you can't
perform optimally in the gaming room if
you have cold or
cramped up hands. This is the least
happy I've been in a long time.
In this moment.
>> Does it not feel like refreshing? It
feels like Do you know the blood
pressure monitors at the doctor's? They
squeeze really tight on your arm and let
go. What if you just like try and went
with it? Go to a happy place. Go to a Go
to a 3D land. It's hard to go to 3D land
when my hand is getting squeezed. No, I
It's not right, is it? You know it's not
right.
>> I think this is amazing. We need
doctors. No, no, no, no.
>> nurses. We don't need That's nice. That
is really nice.
>> nice, it's not. When I type for long
periods of time, I feel it like
especially on the back of my hands here.
The pressure feels amazing. It's got
airbags around all my individual fingers
and it's almost like easing it in a way
that you can't do yourself. Do you want
it? No. I want it so I can burn it.
You don't leave the house enough.
Okay, so you know how multiplayer gaming
over the years has started to feel
increasingly like an online only
experience.
Well, the board is designed as the
antidote to that.
Wait, this box is actually insane. What
kind of board game enthusiast do they
think has the strength to open this?
>> [music]
>> Okay. Well,
on reflection, I guess the board game
enthusiast probably have the brain to
think of that.
Do you like board games? I actually love
board games.
>> Oh, but have you ever tested a smart
board game? What is this, man? Pieces.
>> Oh, wow. So, the company has decided
they wanted to try and recreate the feel
of physical board game with the benefits
of digital. For example, going to
>> Space Rocks. This is like the one out of
Star Wars.
>> Pretty slick, actually. Everything's
just going to be running at like 60
frames per second.
>> [music]
>> And then, this is literally who can
shoot the most asteroids.
>> This is awesome. You could see yourself
using this.
>> 100%. I'll bring this round my dad's.
We'll all be sat playing this for hours.
>> It's a gaming experience that you
couldn't have in any other way, right?
Holding a physical piece, playing a
digital game.
>> This is really cool.
>> [music]
>> Yeah, you got poked, by the way. What
they don't have is any of the official
IPs. There's no Catan, there's no Ticket
to Ride. Well, I assume it costs them
money to buy the licenses to use those
games. Okay, let's try Snake. Snake?
Okay, all right.
>> Because Snake was taken.
Oh wow.
Okay, so the snake follows you.
>> So, oh my god. And then, if you take it
off the board, it it just It just stops.
You suck.
>> But, you invited me into your home.
>> Uh, yeah.
>> Show me tech, and no, I don't suck,
actually.
>> In case you are angered by further L's,
rage pad. Do I need to open it or
>> No, I think this is meant to be like a
healthy outlet for your pain.
It's making noises at me.
Woah, mate, can you actually chill out?
Oh, so cross It didn't do WELL IN SNAKE.
>> [laughter]
>> OH, FEEL MUCH better now.
>> I think you should feel worse about
yourself, actually. Well, let's do a
quick co-op game now. This is like
Lemmings.
>> Ooh, actually, yes. Come to think of it,
it's got a speaker in it as well. It's
quite nice.
You just place the key series and then
>> And then they walk. And then they walk
across them.
I'm just about to take it out while I'm
not.
Oh my god.
>> Oh my gosh. That's really interesting.
It's actually a new gaming experience.
>> It's immediate.
>> Yeah, this is brilliant. This is
actually brilliant. This is fun for the
whole family. [music]
>> I'll take it. Go on.
>> Yeah. Yeah. How much is it usually?
>> Uh, it's like $400. Oh, bloody hell. I
love it then.
>> Okay.
Oh, do you want the rage? I don't want
the rage pad. Do not want that rage pad
that just shouted at me.
Now, I can't quite believe that this
Kolo GCS is a real product. The thing
looks like a prop from a sci-fi film.
But, this is actually an 11-speaker
ultra-wide sound system designed to
attach permanently onto your chair and
completely immerse you. We need to
transition your chair. I don't know how
to respond to that socially. Yeah, okay.
Let's do that. Three, two, one.
How did that feel? You're going to like
electrocute me.
>> It does look like that, doesn't it?
>> This is like bloody well Darth Vader
sitting in it. Don't. Don't. Little bit.
Yeah, that'd be really cool. It's like a
360 surround system. So, it's kind of
like wearing really big headphones, but
they allow you to hear where every sound
is coming from. So, I still can't shake
the feeling I'm going to get murdered.
Oh my god. Oh, this is high quality. So,
I'm curious like how directional does
the sound feel?
>> Incredibly.
>> Oh. I'm just plowing into civilians. Uh,
they looked at me really weird. They
were looking the other way. It's a game
of Gooman. It's in my lungs. This is
really annoying cuz it just screams all
around me.
>> This is actually hard. This is like a
nightmare.
Let's say this was an online game and
you were like to like footsteps. Do you
feel like you can hear anything [music]
new? I would realistically probably just
use headphones or speakers. Oh. It's
great right?
>> Yeah, I see what you mean. Hey, shoes
are on. Hey, the screens all around us
are actually a nightmare.
Yeah.
>> So, if I were running front of these
people, you can actually hear their
voices move from there
to there.
I'd say it's not like the highest
fidelity audio I've ever heard. I don't
know how much you pay attention to that.
>> I did I didn't I wouldn't even know how
to
notice the fidelity.
It's cool. It's a good thing. Mhm.
But, it's a bit much. It's going to be a
no from
>> This is a no from me. Yeah. [music] It
is wicked, but
yeah. But, what if you actually wanted
to leave your new high-tech gamer pod?
Well, this M-Con Osnap is probably the
most advanced smartphone controller that
I've ever laid eyes on.
>> [music]
>> So, it's got MagSafe, which means you
snap your phone on like that. Then,
>> [screaming]
[laughter]
>> it ejects with a lot of force. Okay,
let's try that again.
Then, handles fold out. What do we
think? I don't uh love it. Just feel a
bit silly gaming on this
So, okay. So, phone games are not for
you. These are actually really nice
joysticks. If you were a phone gamer,
I'm sure I'm sure you could love that.
But, like if you're a phone gamer,
you've got bigger problems on your on
your plate.
>> Wow, that's rich. If you were to assess
like as a controller, so forget about
the mobile side of things. Do you think
it's a good controller? It's pretty
nice. And these are really nice. They're
nice Oh, the triggers. I haven't got to
the triggers. Yeah, they do feel good.
>> They're really really nice triggers and
bumpers. It does do one thing though
that I haven't showed you. You can also
detach.
That's a kickstand.
And then you carry on playing wireless.
Oh, that's pretty cool. I'm actually a
big fan of that controller.
I think that's wicked for the size it
takes up. But, not for you.
No, no. You You You can keep it. Right,
I think it's time we move this party to
the sofa with the gaming pillow.
No, it's not for your head. We're
gamers. It's actually for your handheld
console of choice.
Right.
>> [music]
>> Gamer pillow, bring it a bit closer.
I look like an old person.
Uh yeah, this isn't comfortable. Let's
try. Oh, the pillow feels amazing. Wow.
Can you smack me with this? I don't
think I'm just like being paid enough
for that. We're [music] paid to do this.
It's good. Sorry, so when did you last
leave the house? This is also a MagSafe
mount for your phone. It's [music] kind
of maneuverable. Oh, is that not I'm
Yeah, this is good. Hang on, let me So
you you go back. Ooh. The way that this
moves around Yeah, it rolls, right?
Yeah. Do you know what?
>> [music]
>> I'm willing to say maybe I spoke too
soon. I rate it. You rate it, but you
don't want it. But it's a bit like a
burrito. Do you know what I mean? It's
like it's not a first date kind of food.
Like I'm not exactly in my classiest, am
I right now? Bloody [music] slouch like
a dead man. Awfully concerned with how
you come across while gaming. Maybe I'm
>> [music]
>> Maybe I'm too insecure, Aaron.
So that's one option for a little
handheld gaming on your couch. But what
if you wanted to connect up to your
full-on gaming PC while still never
getting up? Well, that is where the
Couchmaster comes in.
>> [music]
>> Hang on, hang on, hang on, hang on cuz
you're going to get Cheeto-y fingers all
over this keyboard on you. So just let's
just think before you open those. All
right, Mom, you do it. You sound like
someone who's been burned before. This
is our battle station. Do I look cool
now?
It's actually kind of cool to use a PC
on [music] such a massive screen. But I
can have my TommyInnit video open here.
>> Oh, thank you. Couple of fun products
I've been
ready to buy for my gamer setup. It's my
pizza order.
>> [laughter]
>> It's all very easy to track on the Opera
browser our
What do you think of this rig? The
chrome LED as well super cool man. I got
six USB ports. Got an iPad. It's
definitely not for me. I actually think
so if I was a PC gamer this fixes my one
annoyance with being a PC gamer which is
that you have to sit at your desk and
you have to use an office chair. Oh look
at this an email from my neighbor.
I saw you shoot that Minecraft boy. I
know what you did by
darker
>> [music]
>> lines. It's actually pretty cool though
cuz the Opera browser has all your
Google services baked into the sidebar.
So we don't even need to leave this Uber
four-way productivity split screen
>> [music]
>> to check it. Maybe there's a link. It's
free. Yeah there's a
>> Where can I find this link? In the
description. Oh. Well then I'll have to
bloody go down there won't I? Have to
have a little scroll. Do you want this?
No no. No.
Thank you.
But um
I'm all right.
But let's say you wanted to game on
someone else's couch. And let's say that
someone else is your grandma who still
has an old CRT TV. Well this tiny little
projector could be the solution.
This is a tiny portable projector. Oh my
god. No way. Yeah. [music] You ever seen
those triple folding phones? It's kind
of like that. It's actually mad in
person how tiny it is.
>> Oh my gosh. You impressed? Yeah very.
[music] It's adapting pretty
responsibly. Okay let's smash.
What did he say?
This is what you take to your grandma's
house. Oh I remember the war. Shut up
gran I'm going to play Metroid on the
ceiling.
Oh my days. I thought you were good at
games. No. Oh.
My bad. Right I have an idea but I'm not
sure how you're going to feel about
this.
You want to play on the ceiling? I want
us to lie in the bed and point it at the
ceiling.
Oh mate we're actually bros you know.
[music] Imagine this on a date like oh
yeah let's just play smash on the
ceiling. I could just lie in bed like
this.
Wow. It fits in my pocket. So, when I'm
traveling, I could just watch things on
the ceiling of a hotel. You're right.
>> coming home with me, if that's all
right. Oh, I love it.
>> Yeah. I actually love it. But, if you
were uber serious about taking your
complete gaming experience with you when
you travel, then I have never seen a
more extreme execution of that concept
than the brand new Poga Yes OLED
edition.
What's up? This is a portable
PlayStation 5
Pro. Oh, wow. High res. So, that's a
quad HD OLED screen. Look at my fingers,
though. Look how quick I'm going. Oh,
well, it's incredible. You didn't do any
damage. So, this has got the sound
system in, as well.
>> Yeah, it sounds really nice.
>> Punchy enough for a small little thing.
It's got a wireless charging pad for
your phone.
>> You know what? I bet if you were like an
e-sports player, this would be awesome.
I really like the fact that it keeps
everything to do with your PlayStation
together. [music] You would actually
transport it like this.
>> How heavy is it? Going to lug this round
Heathrow Airport, let's see.
God, it's not too bad. Yeah. No, you
couldn't hold this for an hour.
>> It does have wheels. So, let's say It's
a bit too much hassle.
Mhm.
It is nice. I'm just thinking that's the
size of like one of my long haul [music]
suitcases. It's going to be a no from
me. But, then if you wanted to play PS5
on the go, what is your alternative? I
guess a portal. Do you need to play PS5
on the go?
Or do you need more hobbies?
>> an Airbnb, you just bring [music] your
console, bring your HDMI lead in your
bag. You're probably just going to be
able to stick it in the back of the
telly. This worked out quite well for
you. You picked three [music] products.
So, these probably are your three
favorite products.
>> Yeah, they definitely So, there's no
regret.
Oh, this is what a great day.
